Funeral services for Clarence E. BOLDEN, 79, of Bristow were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Freedom Hill Baptist Church in Bristow. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Hutchinson-Maples Funeral Home in Bristow. Mr. BOLDEN was born Dec. 27, 1919, in Nicut, to Allen and Rena BOLDEN. He died Friday, March 26, 1999, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Flora BOLDEN of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Ray ; two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Laurie, and Dale and Lindalyn; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Ruby.
Graveside services for Lester "Les" DUKE, 88, of Stigler were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stigler City Cemetery, with the Rev. Bob Maxwell officiating. Mr. DUKE was born Jan. 7, 1911, in Stigler, to James Monroe and Timothy DUKE. He died Sunday, March 28, 1999, in Stigler. Survivors include one daughter, Dottie Lou; three sons, Donald, Douglas, and Dow; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler.
Funeral services for Charles Dempsey FLOYD, 74, of Vacaville, Calif., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Vaca Hills Chapel in Vacaville. Burial was in Vacaville, under the direction of Vaca Hills Chapel. Mr. FLOYD was born Dec. 29, 1924, in Bald Hill, to the late Charles Arthur and Ruby (HARDGRAVES) FLOYD. He died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, in Vallejo, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Floyd of the home; one daughter, Sheri; one son, David; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services for Bettye (SPENCER) MORTON, 70, of Collinsville were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Eastside Baptist Church in Collinsville, with the Rev. Roger Brumley officiating. Burial was in Old Town Cemetery in Old Bokoshe, under the direction of Collinsville Funeral Home. Mrs. MORTON was born March 27, 1928, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Marvin and Mary Ethel (PENNINGTON) SPENCER. She died Thursday, March 25, 1999, in Collinsville. She married Otto Wayne MORTON June 15, 1948. Survivors include her husband, Otto Wayne MORTON of the home; one daughter, Barbara; one sister and brother-in-law, Hermena and J. T.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Samuel Wilson WEST, 77, of Las Cruces, N. M. were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Graham Mortuary, with Dr. Robert Donohue officiating. Mr. WEST was born Dec. 6, 1921, in Gould, to Samuel W. and Leona (SUMMERS) WEST. He died Monday, March 22, 1999, at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Wilson and Shelly , and Nelson; two granddaughters, and two brothers, Gary B. and Elzey. Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. Allen was born April 4, 1926, in Muldrow, to Thomas Ruffen ALLEN and Eliza Jane (DAWES) ALLEN. He died Wednesday, March 31, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Virginia MORTON Jan. 13, 1999, in Sallisaw. Survivors, include his wife, Virginia Allen of the home; three daughters, Loretta Jean, Deborah Jane, and Sandra Mae; one son, Bobby Lee; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Odessa and Bonnie.

Burial is in Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, March 31, 1999, in a Fort Smith nursing home. Survivors include one stepdaughter, Jean; two grandchildren; one nephew, Hugh; two nieces, Deanna and Loretta; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. BROWN was preceded in death by her husband, J. Allen BROWN.

Funeral services for Hank DEHNHARDT, 80, of Sallisaw are being held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Akins Baptist Church, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. DEHNHARDT was born June 19, 1918, in San Francisco, to Henry Fredric DEHNHARDT Sr. and Agnes (JACOBEN) DEHNHARDT. He died Thursday, April 1, 1999, in Sallisaw. He married Darlene GARVIN May 21, 1945, in Alameda, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Darlene DEHNHARDT of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mickey and Karen, and Dusty and Jackie; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Peggy; and four nephews.

Mrs. MOORE was born July 22, 1907, in Hanson, Sequoyah District, Oklahoma Indian Territory, to Lawrence Ashley GILBERT and Sallie Lorena (WHITE) GILBERT. She died Monday, March 29, 1999, in Sallisaw. She was married to Horace Adair MOORE July 2, 1933, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death March 18, 1959, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Charles; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Leilani and Mike; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ida.

RELEFORD of the home; four daughters, Linda, Gwen, Clara and Tonya; one brother, Bobby; one sister, Dovie Mae; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law; one sister-in-law; and other relatives and friends. Mrs. RELEFORD was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Kenneth RELEFORD and Douglas C. RELEFORD.

Funeral services for Vennie Bell BURROW, 90, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Jerry Copeland officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. BURROW was born June 2, 1908, in the Liberty community, to George Washington OGDON and Mary Elizabeth (DAWES) OGDON. She died Friday, April 2, 1999, in Inola. She married James Alf BURROW Sept. 21, 1929, in the Maple community. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1978. Survivors include three daughters, Sue, Myrtle, and Geraldine; two sons, Clyde and Hurbert; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Beauteen.

Mrs. FOOKS was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Tyndle FOOKS.

Survivors include three daughters, Fannie Mae, Dortha Raye and Linda Mae; three sons, Jay, Bill and Cleve; one sister, Addie; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. GIPSON was preceded in death by her husband, Arel Ray GIPSON.

Mr. JEREMIAH was born June 28, 1905, in the Short community, Sequoyah District, Oklahoma Indian Territory. He died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at his home. He married Flaura Ellen STITES Oct. 18, 1946, in Van Buren, Ark. She preceded him in death Jan. 3, 1993. He married Ollie Rose ELLISON Aug. 6, 19993, in Fayetteville, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Ollie JEREMIAH of the home; two step-daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Lloyd; and Hazel and Kurt; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie; two sisters-in-law, Maxine and Nysa; one brother-in-law, Louis; and one aunt, Tessie. Mr. JEREMIAH was also preceded in death by two sisters, Annie JOHNSON and Clarice ROASTINGEAR, and four brothers, Jay, A.J., Junior JEREMIAH and Ted JEREMIAH.

Rosary was held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith. Mrs. ECHOLS died Monday, April 5, 1999, in a local hospital. Survivors include one daughter, Sara Jane; two sons, Tom and Aubrey; her mother, Lois; and one sister, Kathy. Cremation followed the funeral service, also under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
Graveside services for Pauline Fayetta (GRAY) MEEDER, 70, of Webbers Falls were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, with Shane Weaver officiating. Mrs. MEEDER was born July 30, 1928, in Mountain Grove, in Albert and Frances GRAY. She died Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at her home. She married George MEEDER April 29, 1949, in Reno, Nev. Survivors include her husband, George MEEDER of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and David; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Thelma, Nellie and Artie; and two brothers, Stanley and Danny. Survivors include his wife, Alice BROTHERS of the home; two sons, Edward Lynn and Floyd Alan; two daughters-in-law, Cindy and Beverly; three sisters, Tressie, Shirley, and Betty; four brothers, Vernon, Willie, Charles and Buddy; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. BURKES died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at the Ouachita County Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Selma BURKES; three daughters, Terry, Jenna and Joanne; two sisters, Myrtle and Juanita; and three grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home in Camden.
Juanita Z. CHAMBERS 85, of Sallisaw died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in Sallisaw. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Weatherford, Texas. Mrs. CHAMBERS was born Feb. 12, 1914, in Booneville, Texas, to Elmer Woodson HERRIN and Margie (WOMACK) HERRIN. She married Cecil R. CHAMBERS March 6, 1931, in Marietta. He preceded her in death Nov. 21, 1993. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Cecil R. and Margaret; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Chester, Gerald and Lee; two sisters, Ruby and Opal; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mrs. CHAMBERS was also preceded in death by one grandson, John CHAMBERS. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

She died Sunday, April 11, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Thomas L. LONG Jan. 26, 1946, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death Jan. 15, 1981. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon and Elizabeth; two sons, Larry and Gary; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ora Dell; two half sisters, Estelle and Opal; four half brothers, Charles, Thomas, Johnny and Donald; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mrs. LONG was also preceded in death by two daughters, Geraldine HUMMINGBIRD on Oct. 16, 1988, in Tulsa and Florence REED on Jan. 12, 1996, in Kansas City, Mo.; and one son, Ricky LONG on Feb. 4, 1983, in Sand Springs.

Survivors include one daughter, Vickie; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Charles Robert and Allyson, Tommy Bill and Laura, Rodney Earl and Michelle, and Charles Edmund ; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Katherine and Lloyd, Mary, Glennie and Jane; four brothers, Tom, George, Bill and Sonny; 16 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and four step-children, Billy Wayne, Sharla, Darla and Donna. Mr. SANDERS was preceded in death by his wife, Betty FORD SANDERS; one son, Roy Lee Sanders; three brothers, Gus, John and Mose; and his parents. Survivors include his wife, Vivian SANDERS of the home; four sons, Bob, Richard, David John and Brent; five grandchildren; four sisters, Katheryn, Mary, Glennie and Jane; three brothers, Bill, Sonny and Tom; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mr. SANDERS was preceded in death by one son, George Richard SANDERS Jr. in 1983, and four brothers, Mose, John, Gussie and Charlie SANDERS.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Larry; two sons and daughters-in-law, Leon and Linda, and Coy and Susan; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He married Nancy HENSHAW April 11, 1958, in Muldrow. Mr. ALLEN was born May 9, 1919, in Sallisaw. He died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999. He married Doris FOULON Dec. 25, 1946, in Klamath Falls, Ore. Survivors include his wife, Doris ALLEN of the home; two sons, Eugene and David; two daughters, Laura and Roberta; two brothers, Jesse and George; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
