Funeral services for Barbara A BEATY, 74, of Roland were held at 10 am Friday at Roland Hills Baptist Churn with Bro Don Varble officiating. Burial was at Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Roland. Mrs. BEATY was born on Nov 4, 1935, in Johnsonville, SC to Ernest Calhoun DENNIS and Annie Mae (THORNHILL) DENNIS. She died on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, in Roland. Survivors include one son, Benson Ray; one brother, Leray; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Pearl BROYLES, 93, of Gans were held at noon at Redland Cemetery with the Rev Thomas Still and Danny Becerra officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. BROYLES was born on Jan 14, 1917, to William JORDAN and May (LOMAX) JORDAN. She died on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married William Virgil BROYLES on Oct 23, 1939, in Redland. He preceded her in death on Feb 24, 1996. Survivors include three daughters, Edna, Lea and Deloris; one son, William Lee; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one grandson.

Funeral services for Erma T. CRAWFORD,99, of Sallisaw will be held at 10 am Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Mrs. Peggy Chase, RN officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CRAWFORD was born on Feb 14, 1911, in Grandfield, Ark., to Peter Allen Daniel TYLER and Margaret Elizabeth (TAYLOR) TYLER. She died on Sunday, July 25, 2010, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter, Karen Lea; one stepson, Dr. Ray R and wife Margaret; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lawanda Sue, her parents, Dr P A TYLER and Elizabeth
Lizzie" TYLER, two sisters, Arnavay BARNES and Edythe T LACKEY and two brothers, A Z and W Z TYLER.  

Funeral services for Thomas Morgan FORBUS, 75, of Afton are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Gore with the Rev. Kerry White officiating. Burial is in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. FORBUS was born on May 29, 1935, in Vian to Freeman FORBUS and Mable Viola (SEAY) FORBUS BROWN. He died on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Afton. He married Glenda Laverna TURNER on May 1, 1994, in Benton, Kan. Survivors include his wife, Laverna FORBUS of the home; two daughters, Elaine, and Deanna; one sister Geneva; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services for David Ellis SHANKS, 59, of Webbers Falls will be held at 10 am Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Webbers Falls with the Revs David Hughes and Wendell Cox officiating. Burial will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SHANKS was born on April 30, 1951, in Webbers Falls to Merle SHANKS and Stella Mae (POTEET) SHANKS. He died on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Tulsa. He married Kimberly Sue SMEATON KEESEY in June in 1990. Survivors include his wife Kim SHANKS of the home; four daughters, Cassie, Kaitlin, Jessica and Sandra; three sons, John David, Fonzie Ray and Frankie; three sisters, Nancy, Jeannie and Gail; four brothers, Jerry, Johnny, Dale and Gary; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Tim SHANKS.  

Tony Curtis TURNER of Muldrow was born on Dec. 6, 1963, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Hewie Glenn and Barbara (STEPHENS) TURNER and passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Muldrow at the age of 46. He is survived by his wife, Patricia of the home; three daughters, Cassidy and husband, Jack, and Ariel, and Delta;  two sons, Justin and Jimmy John “J.J.”; mother, Barbara; father, Hewie TURNER; one sister, Teresa and Allan; two brothers, Ronnie Glenn, and Robert Dale and Filena; one brother-in-law, Jeff; three granddaughters; and two grandson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, a niece and a great-niece. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Muldrow, with the Rev. Jerry Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in Brent Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Sherie Donna WELLS, 53, of Vian are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Thomas Corrigan officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WELLS was born on May 5, 1957, in Memphis, Tenn., to LaNelle SPARA. She died on Saturday, July 24, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Lloyd D. WELLS on Aug. 3, 2002, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd of the home; one son, Jay; five step-children, Eric, Randy, Tammy, Sandra and Leslie; three sisters, Carese, Sheila and Doan; two brothers, Jerry and Ronnie; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Virginia Lou COX, 77, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Agent Chapel. Burial was at Brent Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. COX was born on March 10, 1933, in Fredonia, Kan., to George Harry HOWERTON and Eva Marie (LAWSON) HOWERTON. She died on Friday, July 30, 2010, in Sallisaw. She married Jack COX on Dec. 25, 1955, in Talihina. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1973. Survivors include one daughter, Jackie Lou; one son, Charles; seven grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for James Stanley FOREMAN, 62, of Wagoner were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Nelson Ross officiating. Burial was at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark, under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. Mr. FOREMAN was born on Sept. 11, 1947, in Redland. He died on Thursday, July 22, 2010. Survivors include his daughters, Tammy and Tonya; son, James; sisters, Mickey, Altheasa, Vicky, Pamela, Evette and Gail; brothers, Edward, Leroy, Manuel and Garry; and four grandchildren.

Melinda “Beth” JOHNSON, 53, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Stillwater. Her service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Norman Richmond officiating. Interment was at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater. Strode Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  Beth was born on Dec. 27, 1956, to Arvel and Mattie Lena SUMPTER in Sallisaw.  She married Philip JOHNSON on Dec. 16, 1977, in Stillwater. She is survived by her parents; her husband, of the home; one son, Michael; one daughter, Mishelle and husband, Moustapha; four grandchildren; one sister, Jannie and husband, Joe; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services for James Harvey KEITH, 66, of Muldrow were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow with Bro. Carney Duncan and Pastor Wayne Hall officiating. Burial was at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. KEITH was born on April 23, 1944, in Muldrow to Odis Elvin KEITH and Edna Mae (STAMPS) KEITH. He died on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, in Roland. Survivors include three daughters, Jameie, Crystal and Shawn; four sons, Elvin, Jarrod, Anthony and Jameson; four sisters, Carolyn, Sue, Nancy and Betty; four brothers, Jack, E.J. David and Bill; 21 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Marla SIMS NEWTON, 52, of Perryton, Texas entered into rest on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on July 16, 1958, in Sallisaw. She was the daughter of the late Star and Mary SIMS. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, her sister, Carolyn Gail LEWIS and nephew Jarrod EDWARDS. She is survived by three sisters, Susie and husband, Don, and Jean and husband Kenneth, and Janice and husband Roger; brother-in-law, Eddie; brother Star Jr.; one son, Creede; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Sims Cemetery in Nicut. Arrangements were under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.

Funeral services for Otis “Big O” NOISEY, 55, of Bunch will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stokes-Smith Stomp Grounds northwest of Sallisaw with Bro. Frankie Studie and Bro. Jack Bush. Burial will be at Redbird Smith Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. NOISEY was born on Sept. 27, 1954, in Tahlequah to Oogeeghutt NOISEY and Ada (MORRIS) NOISEY. He died on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Viola Jean FLUTE in October of 1972. Survivors include his wife, Viola NOISEY of the home; two daughters, Stephanie and Shawna; one son, Koda; and 11 grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, Dennis NOISEY and one granddaughter.

Funeral services for John Wayne SCOGGINS, 86, of Sallisaw will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Sallisaw. Mr. SCOGGINS was born on May 4, 1924, in Sallisaw to Perry Thomas SCOGGINS and Agnes (FINE) SCOGGINS. He died on Monday Aug. 2, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two daughters, Rose and Lilly; one son, Daniel; one brother, Alan Eugene; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for M.D. “Red” SPEER, 84, of Vian are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian with the Rev. David Sanders officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw Mr. SPEER was born on Sept. 21, 1925, in Horatio, Ark., to Monte Delone SPEER Jr. and Mary Elizabeth (BREASHEARS) SPEER. He died on Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, in Vian. He married AEileen Mae PENTZER on Sept. 22, 1987. Survivors include his wife AEileen SPEER of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and David, Kathy and Mike, and Teresa and Skip; three sons and daughters-in-law, Scotty and Gina, and Billy and April, and Steve and Martha; three step-daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Comer, Vicky and Gerry, and Teresa and Gary; two step-sons and one daughter-in-law, David and Patty, and Shawn; one sister, Jackie; two brothers, Billy Jo and Louis; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Rosie BURLISON, 81, formerly of Sapulpa, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Vian Baptist Church. Mrs. BURLISON was born on Dec. 11, 1928 and she died on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, in Sallisaw. Survivors include three sons, Bill and wife Lou, Rick and wife Cindy, John and wife Clea; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Larry Wayne EAGLE, 38, of Muldrow are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Belfonte Baptist Church, north of Muldrow with the Revs. Tom Cochran and Ed Baker officiating. Burial is at Belfonte Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. EAGLE was born on July 13, 1972, in Tahlequah to Bird EAGLE and Yvonne (LONDON) EAGLE. He died on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his mother; two sons, Dillon and Trey; three sisters, Valerie, Joyce and Ramona; and one brother Calvin. He was preceded in death by his father.

Alvin Edward “Ed” HALLSTED was born March 13, 1914, and died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010. The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Fentress Chapel, in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith. He was married to Ruby LOVETT HALLSTED 71 years. He was the son of Arthur Edward and Maybelle (DEIHL) HALLSTED. His brother and sister were James William HALLSTED and Alverta HALLSTED M.D. They all preceded him in death. He is survived by five married children. Janiece Louann and husband, James Jeffery Jr. M.D., Bettie Renee and husband, Gene, Thell Gaylon and wife, Sherry Isley, William Edward and wife, Pat, and Iva Maylene and husband Harlie F. 10 grandchildren He has 22 great and eight great-great-grandchildren, four nieces and a nephew and their children.

Funeral services for Irma Dean RIDGEWAY, 83, of Vian were held Friday, Aug. 6 at Blackgum Baptist Church with Bro. Dale Ritter officiating. Burial followed at the Vian Garden of Memories Cemetery. Mrs. RIDGEWAY was born Aug. 25, 1926, in Wister to Douglas and Ora HARRIS and died at home in Vian on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010. She married Robert “Bob” RIDGEWAY on Jan. 31, 1948, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include her husband, Bob of the home, daughters and sons-in-law, Dee Ann and Dale, Carol and Raymond, daughter, Linda; and son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Lisa. Irma RIDGEWAY has three surviving brothers, Wallace, Henry and Kenneth and one surviving sister, Colleen. She has 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. RIDGEWAY was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Gene, Joe Gilbert and Douglas Dale HARRIS, one sister, Lavene JONES, and her son-in-law John CASTEEL.

A memorial service for Patricia Ann CRUTCHFIELD CROWSON, 68, of St. Louis, Mo., was held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at Hutchens Mortuary and Cremation Center in Florissant, Mo. Mrs. CROWSON was born on March 17, 1942, in Gore to John Sewell CRUTCHFIELD and Lady Hyacinth (SPARKS) CRUTCHFIELD. She died on Thursday, July 29, 2010, in St. Louis. She married Ernest Boyd “Whitey” CROWSON on July 24, 1959, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2009, in Hamel, Ill. Survivors include one son, Tony; one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Joseph; three grandsons; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Jo, and Lynda and George; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnnie “Buddy” and Dean, and Richard and Pam; and numerous relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Luther Patterson CRUTCHFIELD and an infant brother and one sister, Mavis June LUTRELL.

Private family services for Laura Jane GRUMBLES, 53, of Gans are being held. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. GRUMBLES was born on April 7, 1957, in Baytown, Texas, to Jack Joseph FILLINGAME and Emily Jane (ROSIER) FILLINGAME. She died on Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda and Nancy; one son, Ronnie Jr.; three sisters, Lisa, Rose and Pam; three brothers, Joe, Nicki and Danny; one step-sister, Teresa; two step-brothers, Michael and Ferren; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services for Charles Frederick IKER, 69, of Lindsay were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Greg Hatchett officiating. Burial was at Marble City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. IKER was born on July 23, 1941, in Cedar City, Utah to Charles Herbert IKER and Phyllis Hazel WEBSTER. He died on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, in Lindsay. He married Rita Jean RHOADES on Nov. 3, 1962, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Rita IKER of the home; two sons, Charles F. and Eric Vonn; three brothers, Mike, Roger, and Richard; and 14 grandchildren.

Graveside services for Trace David McCLARY, an infant from Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Long Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Trace was born on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. He died on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, in Fort Smith. He is survived by his mother, Cierra McCLARY; father Edward Wayne CONNOR Jr.; six sisters, Ariel Renaee, Jazemine, Erica, Jamie, Aliesha and Heather; two brothers, Tayden Andrew and Mark; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Graveside services for Linda Carol MURPHY, 67, of Vian were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Mitchell Cemetery in Gans under the care of Green Country Funeral Home of Tahlequah, with the Rev. Steve Campbell officiating. Linda Carol (ANGLEN) MURPHY was born on June 17, 1943, in Gans to Ray ANGLEN and Lillian (COWAN) ANGLEN. She passed away at her home in Vian on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010. She married Richard William MURPHY on May 23, 1959, and celebrated 51 years of marriage before her passing. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Richard W. MURPHY of the home; two children, Richard Ray and wife Ginger, and Donna and husband Anthony; three grandchildren; brother, Frank; sister, Patricia; brother-in-law, Kenneth and Anita; and several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones who will miss her.

Vera Evelyn RHODES SALLEE was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Sallisaw to Carl RHODES and Mina (SLATER) RHODES. At 90-years of age, Evelyn passed away on Aug. 7, 2010, in Nashville, Tenn., where she lived for many years near her children. In 1940, at the young age of 21, Evelyn married John Marion SALLEE. In 1980, after 40 years of marriage, John preceded Evelyn in death. Evelyn is survived by her brother Jack; her two daughters, Phyllis “Vikki”and Bobbie; her five grandchildren; and her eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14.

Graveside services for Bethany HUDSON SCRIVNER, 38, of Vian are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. SCRIVNER was born on March 2, 1972, in Springdale, Ark., to Phillip Wayne HUDSON and Elizabeth Nan (DINWIDDIE) HUDSON. She died on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, in Vian. Survivors include three daughters, Charlene Nicole, Jodi Ann, and Ashley Dawn; mother, Beth HUDSON; father and step-mother, Phillip and Joyce HUDSON; two sisters, Donna and Cheryl; one step-sister, Debra; three step-brothers, Larry, Donald, and Don Paul.

Burial was in Dora Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Sophia Marie (BARNES) ENGLISH was born October 15, 1926 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Noah Dallas BARNES and Gloda Lee (LONG) BARNES. She married J.D. ENGLISH on August 7, 1948 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2001 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Mrs. ENGLISH passed this life on August 11, 2010 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Survivors are two sons: Richard and Rhonda, Dick and Carolyn. two granddaughters; one great granddaughter; one sister: Bea; four brothers: Easter, Robert, Earl, and Dale.  She was preceded in death by her husband: J.D. ENGLISH, her parents: Noah and Golda BARNES,  one sister: Mildred GIESLER; and two brothers: Dallas and Eddie BARNES.

DAVIS BROOKS, 67, of Vian are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Blackgum with her grandson, John Brooks and the Revs. George Harris and Dale Ritter officiating. Burial is at Box Cemetery in Blackgum under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BROOKS was born on Nov. 23, 1942, in Gainesville, Texas to Charley Austin DAVIS and Virginia Maretta (WELLS) DAVIS. She died on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, in Vian. She married John Wesley BROOKS Jr. on Nov. 14, 1957 in Gainesville. He preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1999. Survivors include eight daughters, Vivian, Shawn, Barbara, Peggy, Sandy, Teresa, Lula and Carla; three sons, John, James and Joe; 37 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Melba Jean DAWS, 77, of Arkoma were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Black Jack Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. DAWS died on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her husband Ed DAWS of the home; two sons Rickey Dale of Vian and Gary Wayne; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Danny Ray DODSON, 52, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at Blunt Baptist Church with the Revs. Raymond Esteban, Gary Mullins, Jerry Copeland, Gary Flynn and L.C. Freeman officiating. Burial was in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home. Danny was born June 22, 1958, in Sallisaw to Dan and Edna (MATHIS) DODSON. He was called home to his beloved Savior on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at his home in Sallisaw. He married the love of his life, Teresa (BOWLES) DODSON on Sept. 21, 1985, in Sallisaw. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Fulbright DODSON on July 8, 2004. Survivors include his mother, Edna; his wife, Teresa and son Daniel; daughter Sarah; two sisters, Emily and husband, Gary, and Glenda and husband, Kenneth; two brothers, Steven and wife, Charlotte, and Rodney and wife Marsha;   two nephews;  three nieces; great-niece and nephew. Danny also leaves behind several step-nephews and nieces, many other relatives and a host of friends to celebrate his life.

She died on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married J.D. ENGLISH on Aug. 7, 1948, in Fort Smith. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2001. Survivors include two sons, Richard and Dick; one sister, Bea; four brothers, Easter, Robert, Earl and Dale; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mildred GIESLER and two brothers, Dallas and Eddie BARNES.

Funeral services for John William HARDIN, 77, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Elders Cal Kennedy and Bobby Brown officiating. Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. HARDIN was born on Jan. 10, 1933, in Redland to Homer W. HARDIN and Anise (HOUSER) HARDIN. He died on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, in Muldrow. He married E. Doris ISHAM on Nov. 19, 1962, in Seattle, Wash. Ninnie Jewell IRBY, 105, of Sallisaw, formerly of Piggott, Ark., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010. She was born on Feb. 4, 1905, in Rector, Ark., to the late James D. and Ricky BATEMAN.  She was united in marriage to Ralph IRBY on June 27, 1929. Ninnie was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, Fronia BATEMAN, her husband and her daughter, Alma DOBBS. Surviving Ninnie is a son and his wife, Devaun and Dorothy; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Geneva; along with several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector with Bro. Jack Bearden officiating. Interment was at the Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.

Graveside services for Michael Paul PEARSON, 59, of Muskogee are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee with Bros. Brad Schell Jim Chappell officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. PEARSON was born on April 4, 1951, in Muskogee to Dorcy Paul PEARSON and Shirley (EPPLER) PEARSON. He died on Monday, Aug. 16, 2010. Survivors include four daughters Jama, Sara, Candy and Sydney; one son, Cory; one sister, Berta; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Terri LYONS.

Beverly Dee SANTACRUZ, 54, of Muldrow died on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was born on Sept. 4, 1955, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Darrell Dwayne McKEIGHAN and Mildred Iliene (DOUGHERTY) McKEIGHAN. She married Jose Louis SANTACRUZ on March 19, 1982, in Council Bluffs. Survivors include her husband of the home, Jose; two sons, Patrick Ahern and Cordero Miquel; one sister, Norma; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. SNYDER was born on Oct. 6, 1948, in Tulsa to Wilson SEQUICHIE and Margaret (YOUNG) SEQUICHIE. She died on Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, in Tulsa. She married Jimmy Lee SNYDER in Miami, Okla. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy of the home; son, L.J. “Bull”; father; two sisters, Betty and LaVaughn; two brothers, George and Kenneth; and three grandchildren. Burial was in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Rev. DAVIS was born on Feb. 9, 1924, in Sadie to Charley Robert DAVIS and Rebecca Jane (POWELL) DAVIS. He died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, in Sallisaw. He married Annie Oleeta RAPE on April 27, 1944, in Buffington. She preceded him in death on Feb. 14, 2004, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, of the home; four daughters, Ruth Ann, Rachel Elizabeth, Anna Lee and Mary Lois; two sons, Charley L. Jr. and John Paul; one stepdaughter, Dee; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Velma, Darlene, Doris, Cherry and Shirley. Hubert Leon FARLEY, 74, of Sallisaw, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, at a Tulsa Hospital. He was born Dec. 29, 1935, in Kellyville, to the late Hubert and Jerretta (YOCHAM) FARLEY. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Helen, and an infant son. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Ridgeway Baptist Church in Sapulpa with burial at Kellyville Cemetery. She married James Paul LEE on Sept. 28, 1940, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 2005, in Fort Smith. Survivors include two daughters, Peggy and Glenda; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister-in-law, Emma. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Chris COLEMAN, four sisters, Beulah BETHEL, Lorraine WILLAFORD, Reba ALLENDER and Mamie KIRK and one brother, John PEMBERTON.

Dawn J. POLASEK, 80, of Hobson, Texas was born on Sept. 30, 1929, in Eveleth, Minn., to Al and Wennie (BECKMAN) BRATULICH. She died on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Al BRATULICH and daughter-in-law, Sandra E. POLASEK. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas R. POLASEK of Hobson, Texas; six children, Cindy, Mike and his wife, Sandy I., Zac and his wife Jan, Kathy, Fr. Jeff, and Angela and her husband, Gary; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary Lee McCLURE, 56, of Spiro passed away on Aug. 24, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born Nov. 18, 1953, in Sallisaw, the son of George O. McClLURE and Carmon Ruth (REMY) McCLURE. He was married to Rhonda DAGGS on June 11, 1977, in Spiro. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda of the home; one daughter, Happy; one son and daughter-in-law, Garon and Kerry; one granddaughter; two sisters, Patsy and Linda Sue; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy George McCLURE. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, at the First Baptist Church in Spiro with the Revs. Robert Hill and Darrin McKnight officiating. Burial followed at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
