Duane Eben BARNES was born on Aug. 23, 1941, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Duane Townsend BARNES and Laverne (CHAMBLESS) BARNES. He died on Sunday, July 31, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. No formal service is planned at this time. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda and Diana; five sons, Patrick, David, Jeff, Gary and Johnny; several brothers and sisters; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Marie (GALLUZZO) BARNES on July 25, 2009.

Edward Gaines CHERRY of Sallisaw was born on Aug. 1, 1932, in Wichita, Kan., to Loy and Zelma (ROLAND) CHERRY and passed away in a Fort Smith, Ark. hospital on Friday, July 29, 2011, at the age of 78 years. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. David Harris, the Rev. Gene Leavell and the Rev. Vern Wilkinson officiating. Ed is survived by his wife, Eda Fern of the home; one daughter, Julie Cay and her husband, Ron; two sons, Edward G. Jr. and his wife, Myrna, and Roy Martin; one sister, Luella Fern; one brother, Loy Arthur and his wife, Lorna; three grandchildren, and stepgrandson, Justin and his wife, Farrah; one great-grandson; one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Joan GRETTON and his grandmother who raised him, Ida Mae CHERRY.

Funeral services for Jewell CHILDERS HAMMETT, 99, of Vian were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Blackgum Baptist Church in Vian with the Rev. Dale Ritter officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HAMMETT was born on Feb. 18, 1912, in Sapulpa to Frank CHILDERS and Maude (BAKER) CHILDERS. She died on Sunday, July 31, 2011, in Vian. She married Delbert Daniel HAMMETT on Aug. 24, 1929, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1984. Survivors include one daughter, Marbara; one son, Delbert Truman; two sisters, Mable and Mildred; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Navarre KISTLER, her parents and 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Ruth SPARKS PHILPOT, 69, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brushy School Gymnasium in Sallisaw with Bro. Darin Baggs, Bro. Lee Thornell and Sis. Tammy Tatham officiating. Burial was at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. PHILPOT was born on Nov. 11, 1941 to Fannin Franklin SPARKS and Willis Irene (HARDEN) SPARKS. She died on Thursday, July 28, 2011, in Oklahoma City. She married Charles Junior PHILPOT II, on Feb. 28, 1958, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1965. Survivors include three sons, Larry Eugene, and Michael Wayne and Charles Junior III; two brothers, Jerry Paul and Ray Douglas; 10 grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Una Diane PHILPOT and one brother, Wayne Reber SPARKS.

Graveside services for Reba L. RICHBURG, 84, of Vian were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Gibson with the Rev. Carney Duncan officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. RICHBURG was born on Jan. 15, 1927, in Bristow to James HAMNER and Opal (BISHOP) HAMNER. She died on Friday, July 29, 2011, in Vian Survivors include many friends and acquaintances. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Donald RICHBURG on Oct. 28, 1993 and her parents.

Marjorie Lee STEWART, 89, of Sallisaw passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, in Sallisaw. Marjorie was born on March 15, 1922, in Ione, Ark., the daughter of Oscar Leo CAUTHRON and Elizabeth (WOMACK) CAUTHRON. She married Finis LeRoy STEWART on March 5, 1943, in Moffett. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1987, in Tulsa. Survivors are one son, John Richard; one daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Bob; two granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; one sister, Mayrene; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Jimmie BULL and Jessie LACY and two brothers, Rufus and Charles CAUTHRON. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will be at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

 Funeral services for Kenley Ray WILLIAMS, 81, of Vian were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw with Bro. Terry Stone officiating. Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. WILLIAMS was born on May 25, 1930, in Vonore, Tenn., to Barney WILLIAMS and Dena Mae (BIVENS) WILLIAMS. He died on Friday, July 29, 2011, in Tulsa. He married Sue WILLIAMS on June 9, 1952, in Anadarko. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ferna Sue WILLIAMS; three sons, Dr. Steven, Michael and CPT. David; four sisters, Edna, Wanda, Golda Faye and Shelby; two brothers, Clyde and Randall; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Revonda and Willa LONG and one brother, Lloyd WILLIAMS.

Jaxen Isaiah FLEETWOOD, infant son of Evan Brook FLEETWOOD and Christina Lynn (TURNER) FLEETWOOD of Roland, died on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Including the parents, other survivors are two brothers, Caden and Tarren; paternal grandparents, Gary and Julie LIMORE; and maternal grandparents, Laura TURNER and Larry TURNER.

Graveside services for Troy Franklin KELLEY, 87, of Muskogee, formerly of Sallisaw, are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mitchell Cemetery, east of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. KELLEY was born on Nov. 23, 1923, in Hartman, Ark., to Walter Franklin KELLEY and Addie Belle (BROCK) KELLEY. He died on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, in Muskogee. He married Reigh Christine on May 25, 1946, in Fort Smith, Ark. She preceded him in death on April 7, 1991. Survivors include two sons, Glen and James; one sister, Joy Mae; two brothers, Graden and Edgar; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Gary Franklin KELLEY and two brothers, Rufus and Bill KELLEY.

Our beloved Mother, Eunice A. EDWARDS MILLER was born June 24, 1925 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011. She was the wife of (deceased) Jack MILLER. Eunice leaves behind a son, Jack Gregory; a daughter, Patricia Karen; a brother, Bill; one granddaughter; and great-grandson. She is also survived by her caring nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow.

Funeral services for Doris Maxine RIDER, 90, of Sallisaw are being held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Brian Zinck officiating. Burial is at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. RIDER was born on July 6, 1921, in Sallisaw to Thomas N. and Tiny M. (RIGSBY) RIDER. She died on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, in Vian. Survivors include three sisters, Mary C., Ruth and Lillian. She was preceded in death by her father in 1967, her mother in 1991, and one brother, Thomas F. RIDER.

Samuel Dale SCOTT, 86, of Muskogee, died Friday, July 29, 2011. He was born January 1, 1925 in Akins to Champ Farris and Buena Vista (LESSLEY) SCOTT. On April 27, 1957, he married Juanita THORNTON in Stigler. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and brother Clay SCOTT. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Juanita of the home; sons Sammy Dale and wife Kimbra,. and Mike; a daughter Anita and husband Bill; seven grandchildren. Funeral services were 1 p.m., August 2, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Muskogee with Pastor Rusty Williams officiating. A private interment followed.

Louella Jodene RUSH was born on Dec. 24, 1940, in Marble City, the daughter of Alford KENNEDY and Emma (YAHOLA) KENNEDY. She married Gerald Francis RUSH on Dec. 28, 1962, in Goodyear, Ariz. He preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 2008, in Marble City. Mrs. RUSH passed this life on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, in Tulsa. Survivors are one daughter, Ronice; one son, Rick; two grandchildren; one sister, Jewell; one brother, Thomas; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Loriene CHOATE, Irene “Sis” RIDER and Christine KENNEDY. Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Holiness Church, northeast of Sallisaw. Burial was held at Dwight Mission Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Samuel M. SICARD, 70, of Fort Smith, Ark., died on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, in Fort Smith. He was born Oct. 1, 1940, in Fort Smith to McLoud and Lucy Katherine (HARPER) SICARD. He is survived by his wife, Sharon CALDARERA SICARD of the home; one son, Samuel T. and wife Jennifer; three stepchildren, Joshua, Rebecca, and Jessica; one sister, Lucy and her husband, Bill; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Fred SICARD, his first wife and mother of his children, Melissa SMITH SICARD and a daughter, Caroline SICARD. Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a Memorial Mass was said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A private burial was at Calvary Cemetery, all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. .

Funeral services for Corina Candice WOOD, 34, of Muldrow will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on March 25, 1977, in Newport Richey, Fla., to Timothy Obidian EADY and Deborah Sue LONDROW JACOBSON. She died on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, in Arkoma. Survivors include her husband, Jerry CLOUD of the home; seven children, Krystle, Neiko, Shelby, Danielle, Gabe, Preston and Chance; her parents; two sisters, Laura and Rebekah; two brothers, Timothy and Donny; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services for Ward WOODARD Jr., of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rocky Point Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. WOODARD was born on Sept. 27, 1943, in Clarksville, Ark., to Ward WOODARD Sr. and Maggie (BERRY) WOODARD. He died on Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, in Sallisaw. He married Bessie Aline POINDEXTER on Sept. 23, 1967, in Stilwell. Survivors include his wife, Aline WOODARD of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Ward III and Teresa; one sister, Anna; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carl WOODARD.

Graveside services for Beverly J. REED, 82, of Locust Grove are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, north of Muldrow, with family and friends officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. REED was born on Jan. 28, 1929, in San Bernardino, Calif., to William Earl TRAZLER and Evelyn Marie (BROWN) TRAXLER. She died on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, in Locust Grove. She married Ewing C. REED on Sept. 3, 1964, in Tulsa. He preceded her in death on July 27, 2006. Survivors include six daughters, Wanda, Vickie, Juanita, Karen, Tammy, and Lauri Jo ; four sons, Joe, Rick, Ronald, and Donald; 28 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Carol STILES.

Jess ROARK, 79, died on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, in Eureka, Kan. No formal service is planned. He was a former resident of Fowler, Kan., and lived many years in Sallisaw. He is survived by one son, John; two daughters, Jackie, and Pam; two stepsons, Al and Mark; one stepdaughter, Debbie; 12 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess ROARK Sr. and Trotty (LAY) ROARK, his wife of many years, Geri ROARK, one brother and two sisters.

Oma Pauline DOBBS “Polly” SMITH was born on June 16, 1924 in McKey community, the daughter of Henry Harold DOBBS and Bessie Jane (BYNUM) DOBBS. She married Nelson Alexander SMITH on Jan. 25, 1947, in Paris, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1991, in Fayetteville, Ark.  Mrs. SMITH passed this life on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, in Tulsa.  She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Chadwick “Corntassel” and Bobbie, Kyle and Kathleen, Shane, and Dwight and Niki; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Orlene Catherine “Cat”, Ora Lee, and Opal Patsy; and one brother, Oren Douglas. Other family members include Doug and Marti,  Joan and Ted, Doug Jr., Julie, and Lilith; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mrs. SMITH was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ola Jean NORVELL and Oletha Mae NIHSER and four brothers, Otis, Oliver “Windy”, Olen Lee “Red”, and Orville Harold DOBBS. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw. Burial will be held in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Jackson Dale GOWER, 65, of Cookson were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Box Cemetery in Vian with Buddy Aldridge officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. GOWER was born on Sept. 1, 1945, to Jack GOWER and Madge (CATES) GOWER. He died on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, in Cookson. . Survivors include four daughters, Katie, Kelly, Raini and Betsy; one sister, Donna; one brother, David; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James SMITH and one grandchild.

Michael Dennis LEMONS of Sallisaw was born on Jan. 14, 1970, in Elmontel, Calif., to Frank STONEKING and Janice LEMONS and passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, in Sallisaw at the age of 41. He is survived by one daughter, Christina; two sons, Alan and Michael Jr.; one sister, Sharon; three brothers, Monty, Frankie and Ryan; and his father, Frank STONEKING. . He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice LEMONS-STONEKING and his grandmother, Flora McMURTY. Funeral services are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Mallory Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will follow in Akins Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Joe M. MAYNER, 78, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Muldrow with Dr. Charles Saulsbery II and the Rev. Tommy Treat officiating. Burial was at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. MAYNER was born on Sept. 30, 1932, in Peterpender, Ark., to Artney MAYNER and Lillie (BARLOW) MAYNER. He died on Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, in Little Rock, Ark. He married Patsy Ruth PASSMORE on Sept. 13, 1958, in Mill Valley, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Patsy MAYNER of the home; one daughter, Cheryl; one son, Stephen; one brother, Doyle; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

The long and colorful career of Dick MAYO, Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Presbyterian Church, Sallisaw, with Bill Sampson officiating. Burial will be in Sallisaw City Cemetery, and arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born Richard Wheeler MAYO, Jr., Nov. 19, 1929, in Fort Smith, Ark., the son of Richard Wheeler and Florence (BAKER) MAYO of Sallisaw. In 1953 he married Barbara Ann BRADFORD of McAlester. They were divorced in 1973. He married Grace COWAN CHASTAIN in 1986. In addition to his wife, Grace, of the home, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Allyn and Charles, and Shannon and Dennis; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Melanie; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Becky; one sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and John; A younger brother, Dale Baker MAYO, died in infancy. Other survivors include four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Charley Lavon MORRIS, 83, of Sallisaw was born on Aug. 6, 1928, in Edgemont, S.D., to Charley and Ester (SMITH) MORRIS. He died on Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, in Sallisaw. No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Survivors include his companion, Norma Jean MORRIS of the home; one daughter, Cherri and husband, Orin; two sons, Jerry and wife, Jane, and Micky and wife, Margaret.; one sister, Alice Mae; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Charley and one sister, Zoeleada CARPENTER.

Funeral services for Dewain “Deak” RHODES, 63, of Muldrow were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Curtis Mitchell officiating. Burial was at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. RHODES was born on Nov. 11, 1947, in Muldrow to Jesse Columbus RHODES and Essie Inez (RIGGS) RHODES. He died on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, in Muldrow. He married Mary Ellen CLELAND on June 18, 1971, in Muldrow. Survivors include his wife, Mary RHODES of the home; one sister, Tammy; one brother, Roger; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Terry Dwight RHODES.

Memorial services for Jerome Joseph TUNKL, 63, of Los Angeles, Calif., will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at the Fort Smith National Cemetery with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. TUNKL was born on March 22, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pa., to August Frank and Delores Margaret (LAMB) TUNKL. He died on Friday, July 29, 2011, in Los Angeles. Survivors include one daughter, Denise; one son, Landis R.; one sister, Trina L.; three brothers, John T., Fritz and wife, Maria, and Victor E.; his mother; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Joyce E. TUNKL SMITH, two brothers, Phillip F. HARTT and Kevin C. HARTT, one stepbrother, Smith Ivan HARTT Jr. and his stepfather, Smith Ivan HARTT.

David Earl ATKINS Sr., 63, of Muldrow was born on April 23, 1948, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Bill ATKINS and Mary ATKINS. He died on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, in Muldrow. No formal service is planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Survivors include one son, Eric; one sister, Charotte; three grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn ATKINS, one son, David ATKINS Jr., and his parents.

Delmer Lee OWENS, 84, of Sallisaw was born on Nov. 1, 1926, in Johnson County, Arkansas to John OWENS and Margaret (WILLIAMS) OWENS. He died on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, in Poteau. No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. OWENS was a general laborer.  Survivors include one brother, J.C.; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda OWENS and several brothers and sisters.

Billy Bernice POINDEXTER of Sallisaw was born on Dec. 26, 1925, in Sallisaw to James and Easter (WILSON) HENSLEY and passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, in Shattuck at the age of 85. She is survived by four daughters, Janice, Jewel, Norma and Rossie; two sons, Verlin and Wilburn; one sister, May Jean; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clyde POINDEXTER, one son, Clifford POINDEXTER, one grandson, David CRONE and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday at Mallory Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Gary Riley officiating. Burial followed at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services for the Rev. Daniel Ray CLAYTON, 66, of Spiro will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harvest Time Tabernacle. Burial will be at Fort Coffee Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. A wake will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Shady Grove Church in Roland. Rev. CLAYTON died on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011.

Charles Phillip DENNY, 67, of Roland was born on April 29, 1944, in Nicut to Virgil and Lucille (FLANAGAN) DENNY. He died on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark.  He is survived by his wife, Kathy DENNY; two sons, Bart and wife, Vickey, and Joe Ed and wife, Jennifer; six sisters, Carol and husband, Tommy, Sandra and husband, Ted, Martha ,and Regina and husband, Edwin, and Judith, and Marsha; one brother, Lyle; three grandsons; three granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He married Katherine ROGERS on March 17, 1964. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Harol DENNY, one sister, Joan MOWDY and one brother-in-law, Mike ADAMS. Funeral services are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mallory-Martin Chapel with the Rev. Dale Phelps officiating. Burial will follow at Seabolt Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Robert E. DEVIN, 79, of Webbers Falls are being held at 10 a.m. Friday at Green Valley Baptist Church in Webbers Falls with the Rev. David Hughes officiating under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. DEVIN was born on Oct. 3, 1931, in Parks, Neb., to Emmet and Grace (KING) DEVIN. He died on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, in Webbers Falls. He married Coleen SMITH on Jan. 21, 1950, in Britt, Iowa. Survivors include his wife, Coleen DEVIN of the home; one brother, Richard and Pat; four children, Larry and Marie, Keith and Denise, Jean and Bob, and Ilene and Scott; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marietta BROOD and Betty Jean DEVIN.

Curry officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HENNING was born on May 20, 1962, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Aaron Jimmy CURRY and Hedy Faye (NORRID) CURRY. She died on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, in Muskogee. Survivors include one daughter, Amy; three sons, Kristopher, Jacob and Tyler; father and stepmother, Jim and Barbara CURRY; five sisters, Lisa, Sherry, Patty, Calleen and Bridget; and one brother, Donny. She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Jimmy Lee “Jimbo” CURRY.

Funeral services for Jerrod JOHNSON, 38, formerly of Muldrow are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Ed Baker officiating. Burial is at Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. JOHNSON was born on Nov. 5, 1972, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Herschel JOHNSON and Betty Yvonne (HAGGARD) McKAY. He died on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his companion, Kimberly; one sister, Tammy; two brothers, Rick and Randy; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Lee Scott PATTERSON, 52, of Muldrow was born on Oct. 25, 1958, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Scott and Edith (SHOFNER) PATTERSON. He died on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, in Roland. Private family graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Survivors include his mother, Edith PATTERSON; and three aunts. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Charles Cleo PATTERSON and his grandparents.

Funeral services for Ramona CONLEY ROBERTSON, 76, of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Friday at House of Praise in Marble City with the Rev. Clifton Pettit officiating. Burial is at Marble City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. ROBERTSON was born on Jan. 2, 1935, in Marble City to William Alanzo CONLEY and Rebecca Marie (TABOR) CONLEY. She died on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include three daughters, Reba, Michelle and Robyn; one son, Jimmy; one sister, Margaret; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ruth CONLEY and two brothers, Rick and Donald CONLEY.

Mr. SCOTT was born on June 8, 1936, in Long to Frank Douglas SCOTT Sr. and Vera (BALLINGER) SCOTT. He died on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, in Clarksville. Survivors include his wife, Gwindlene (SAPP) SCOTT of the home; two sons, James and Billy; two daughters, Vetrice and Veda; one sister, Betty; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dole SCOTT.

Graveside services for Lonnie Truman “Buck” SHARP Sr. were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Muldrow Memory Garden Cemetery with the Rev. Mr. SHARP was born on Aug. 19, 1931, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Clifford LaFay SHARP Sr. and Delta Estella Francis (DAVID) SHARP. He died on Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, in Fort Smith. Survivors include three daughters, Gloria, Andrea and Stacy; two sons, Jimmy, and Lonnie Jr.; one sister, Geneva; four brothers, Clifford Jr., Jerry, David and Virgil; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Patrick Sean SHARP, his parents, one sister, Maxine JACKSON and three brothers, Robert, Tommy and Johnny SHARP. .

Funeral services for Neoma WOFFORD, 90, of Roland were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Liberty Assembly of God Church, north of Roland, with the Revs. Andy O’Neal and Tommy Treat officiating. Burial was at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. WOFFORD was born on April 4, 1921, in Liberty to John Alner BLAYLOCK and Julia (HILTERBRAND) BLAYLOCK. She died on Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, in Roland. She married Bertie Avery WOFFORD on July 3, 1941, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1990. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Lana Kay and Joe; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Lucky and Sherry, and Norwin Ray; one sister, Eunia; 18 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, her parents, two sisters, Emma TABOR and Edna SUTTON and one brother, Edgar BLAYLOCK.

Burial is at Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BLANKENSHIP was born on July 11, 1923, in Akins to Ben ROBERTS and Myrtle (KUYKENDALL) ROBERTS. She died on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, in Moffett. Survivors include one daughter Sandy; three sons, Jimmy, Randy and Tommy; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Billy SHROPSHIRE, one sister, Cletis RAPE, two brothers, Grady and B.G. ROBERTS and one grandson. .

Mary Alice WARREN PACK, 75, of Vian passed this life on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, in Rochester, Minn. She was born on March 19, 1936, in Gore the daughter of Peter Joshua “Josh” WARREN and Ola (MUNCIE) WARREN. She was married to Kenneth PACK on Jan. 3, 1955, in Vian. Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Kenneth of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sandy, and Larry and Jackie, and Garry and Susan; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Lewis; and one sister, Doris. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight sisters, Edna JOHNSON, Margaret PLUNKETT, Vera MILLS, Thelma BENNET, Amanda JORDAN, Berlie CARRILLO, Cora McELHANEY, Katherine PRINCE and Helen CHILDERS, and three brothers, J.T. WARREN, Hoover WARREN and Wallace WARREN. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Blackgum Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Ritter officiating. Burial will follow at Box Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Graveside services for Leon H. PIGEON Sr., 82, of Vian will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Phillips Cemetery, north of Vian, with the Rev. T.D. Drew officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. PIGEON was born on Aug. 4, 1929, in Qualls to George PIGEON and Mary Ann (YOUNG) PIGEON. He died on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, in Vian. Survivors include three daughters, Brenda, Marilyn and Sharra; two sisters, Lorene and Faye; four brothers, Willie, Leo, Percy and Raymond; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sharon (ROBERTS) PIGEON, one daughter, Becky MOORE, one son, Leon PIGEON Jr., and two sisters, Juanita DUNN and Bonita THURMAN.

Funeral services for Joe SAULSBERRY, 79, are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. SAULSBERRY died on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011. He was an electrician.
