Funeral services for Edward Junior ALLISON, 78, of Pocola, were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Pocola Christian Fellowship Church, with burial in Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith, Ark. He was born on Sept. 29, 1926, in Short. He died on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, in his home. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dorothy ALLISON of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and her husband Geoffrey; and one grandchild.

Funeral services for Edna Mae CLUCK, 79, of Tulsa, formerly of Gore, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Lakeroad Church of Christ in Gore, with Don Cherry and Roy Raines officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, with Loyd Unsell of Tuttle officiating, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service Webbers Falls. She was born on June 10, 1925, in Tuttle, to George and Nancy (MORRIS) UNSELL. She died on Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, in her home. She married George CLUCK on Aug. 10, 1940, in Chickasha. Survivors include her husband of the home; her children, Leon and Evelyn, Gary and Linda, Nancy and Dennis; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for A.M. Walter COWAN, 84, of Sallisaw, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Robert Polvado officiating. Burial will be in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Dec. 13, 1919, in Fort Coffee, to James Wilce COWAN and Hattie Ann (MATHIS) COWAN. He died on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, in Sallisaw. He married Clara MAIER on Dec. 9, 1939, in Spiro. Survivors include his wife, Clara COWAN of the home; three daughters, Mary J., Beverly S. and Lucretia; two sons, Charles Ed and Clarence "Curly"; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence; one sister, Inez; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Gladys EDWARDS, 95, of Muldrow, were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, with the Revs. Bill Adcock and Anthony Williams officiating. Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery northwest of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. She was born on Jan. 23, 1909, in Long community, to Brad EDWARDS and Hattie (CRISLER) EDWARDS. She died on Friday, Nov. 26, 20004, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Wilma; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Opal G. FIELDING, 71, of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with Mark Yeakley officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Oct. 15, 1933, in Sallisaw, to Samuel Melton RANDOLPH and Nancy Jane (ASBILL) RANDOLPH. She died on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, in Wichita.  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberlee and Mark; two grandchildren, Ryan and Rachel; one sister, Louise; one brother, Sam; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Beatrice DETWILER, Ruby WREN and Barbara Sue BATY Ferguson; and three brothers, Goodlow RANDOLPH, John E. RANDOLPH and Joe RANDOLPH.

Funeral services for Elva G. "Ray" GRAHAM, 92, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca, Ark., with burial in Lavaca City Cemetery, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. She was born on Sept. 7, 1912, in Cornish Fort Chaffee, Ark., to John Henry RAY and Mary Bell (BASSETT) RAY. She died on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Zeta Bell and her husband George, Becky Ann and her husband David, Linda Lucille and Rosetta; six sons and several daughters-in-law, Eddie Gene and his wife Sheila, Freddy Ray, Franklin Pierce and his wife Patricia, Michael "Mickey"and his wife Coleen, Harold Dewitt and daughter-in-law Genell, Ronnie Carl and his wife Kris; 30 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Acie GRAHAM; two sons, Rupert and Johnny Lee GRAHAM; two grandsons, David and Jonathon WOGLOM; one great-granddaughter, Dawn HOFFERT; her parents; two sisters, Lola Bell RAY and Nora HOUSE; and two brothers, Eugene and Raymond RAY.

Funeral services for Dale B. HENDRICKSON, 84, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Putman Funeral Home Chapel, under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. He died on Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, in an area hospital. Survivors include his wife, Johnie HENDRICKSON of the home; three daughters, Sandra L. and Barbara J. and Nola M.; one son, Maurice; several grandchildren; and two step-sons, George and Rick.

Graveside services for Jessie Avis LESSLEY, 89, of Muskogee were held at 3 p.m. on Monday at the Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. James O'Briant officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Jan. 7, 1915, in Maple community, to Hooper PARSONS and Reesie (HARKREADER) PARSONS. She died on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, in Muskogee. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Don; one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Sophronia; four grandsons.; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jamie LESSLEY in 2003.

Funeral services for Ellen M. SHEPARD, 88, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Sallisaw will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the St. Francis Zavier Catholic Church in Sallisaw, with Father Jeff Polasek officiating. Burial will be in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Dec. 7, 1915, in Marengo, Iowa, to Joseph John MULHERIN and Bridget Estelle (HANSON) MULHERIN. She died on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, in St. Louis. She married Arthur Dee SHEPARD on April 13, 1941, in Denver. He preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 2004. Survivors include two daughters, Elaine E., and Mary Kay and her husband Don; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary ELLIOTT and two brothers, Clem and Danny MULHERIN.

Funeral services for M. Ilene WALTERS, 75, of Tulsa were held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Stigler, with the Rev. Danny Oliver officiating. Burial was in Keota City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler. She was born on Aug. 13, 1929, in Albion, to John and Amelia (FEWELL) WALTERS. She died on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, in Norman.  Survivors include two sisters, Thelma and Amy; one brother, B.F.; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Elzie and Alvin WALTERS and one sister, Imogene BRODERICK.

The Rev. Billy James HARGIS, an out-spoken evangelist and anticommunist preacher who founded the Christian Crusade and was at one time a pastor at a church in Sallisaw, died at the age of 79 at a Tulsa nursing home Saturday. Funeral services were held at Memorial Park Christian Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday under the direction of Ninde Funeral Home at Woodland Hills. HARGIS was born on Aug. 3, 1925, in Texarkana, Texas, and was adopted by Jimmie Earsel HARGIS and Laura Lucille HARGIS. His son, Billy James HARGIS II, took over last summer. Besides his son, HARGIS is survived by his wife, Betty Jane, whom he married in 1951; three daughters, Bonnie Jane, Becky Jean, and Brenda Jo ; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren

Burial was in the National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, under the direction of Green Country Funeral Home of Tahlequah. He was born on Nov. 17, 1934, in Braggs, to Ervin Matt and Emma BRASSFIELD. He died on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004. He married Patsy Lou BAGLEY on July 21, 1961, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Lou BRASSFIELD; one son, Floyd; one granddaughter; one grandson; one brother and sister-in-law, Amos and his wife Tron; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Vera, Emma Jean, Ola Mae, and Vergie and Herman, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, J.V., Huston and Neal.

Funeral services for Vernon DAVIS, 73, of Edmond, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, at the Church of Christ in Vian, with Bro. Tommy Young officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw . He was born on July 23, 1931, in Blackgum, to Thomas Estle DAVIS and Opal (MATTHEWS) DAVIS. He died on Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, in Oklahoma City. He married Lucy HOLT on Sept. 2, 1950, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Lucy DAVIS of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Wava and Warren; one son, Lew; two sisters, Mona and Glenda; three brothers, Harold, Tommy and Jimmy; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Garlen Glenn FROST, 83, of Roland, were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the Church of Christ in Roland, with Bro. Phil Smith officiating. Burial was in Baxley Cemetery in Paris, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Roland. He was born on July 19, 1921, in Magazine, Logan county, Ark., to Vester FROST and Duffie (MING) Frost. He died on Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Beatrice Lorene OWENS on Oct. 17, 1941, in Branch, Franklin county, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Bea FROST of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Retha and Peter; one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Nancy; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Reba and Ema Sue; and two brothers, Darvin and Doyle.

She was born on Dec. 24, 1937, in Muldrow. She died on Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, in Muldrow. He was born on Jan. 10, 1923, in Marble City. He died on Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, in Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Joyce SMITH of the home; four daughters, Kathy, Cheryl, Sandy and Linda; two sons, Rick and Mike; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Ann and Lisa; three step-sons, Ricky, Randy andMichael; 11 step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Irene TILLSON, 90, of Gore, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gore United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mark Howard officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Nov. 28, 1914, in Marshville, N.C., to James LITTLE and Minnie Florence (GRIFFIN) LITTLE. She died on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, in Gore. She married Leonard TILLSON on Dec. 23, 1936, in Marshville, N.C. He preceded her in death on July of 1993. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Edith; one son-in-law, Jim; four grandchildren; three half-sisters, Lovina, Peggy and Joan. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Charlotte WEBB.

Funeral services for Rev. Lovely WALLACE, 80, of Park Hill, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Truett Johns officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Jan. 14, 1924, in Kusa, to Joe WALLACE and Florence (WATERS) WALLACE. He died on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, in Tahlequah. He married Ruby FIELDS in 1949, in Stilwell. She preceded him in death on May 11, 1978.  Survivors include one son, Wayne; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one step-son, Jerry; his companion, Okla Dale; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by five brothers; and one sister.

Graveside services for June WALTERS, 63, Sallisaw, are being held at 1 p.m. Thursday, at the Blair Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Ed Cunningham officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on May 21, 1941, in Akins, to Joel LOWE and Lucille (EDWARDS) LOWE. She died on Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law Dana and Aaron, and Deana and David; one son, Kenneth and Bobbie; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Pat and Danny, and Linda; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Willis and Betty, and Larry and Marie; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion LOWE and Joel LOWE Jr.

Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Feb. 23, 1941, in Keota, to Ben WALTON and Clara Lee (TEAGUE) WALTON. He died on Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, in Sallisaw. He married Barbara Jo HENSON in Aug. of 1973, in Sallisaw. She preceded him in death on Jan. 4, 2001.  Survivors include one daughter, Debra; three sons, Dewayne, Scotty and James; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Jerry; three brothers, Dub, U.L. and Homer; and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Frank Thomas COKER, 78, of were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Vondel L. Smith South Colonial Chapel in Oklahoma, with burial in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. He was born on Jan. 5, 1926, in Muldrow, to Charles and Alta COKER. He died on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, in the Norman Veteran's Center in Norman. He married Euna Marie CULLUM in 1946. Survivors include two daughters, Linda and Johnnie; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Opal and Neva; three brothers, Sidney, Homer and John. He was preceded in death by his wife, Euna Marie COKER; one son, Sidney COKER; his parents; two sisters, Ruby KING and Della SHACKELFORD;  three brothers, Hugh COKER, Charles COKER and Jack COKER.

Survivors include three daughters, Glenda Faye, Sharon and Charlotte; three sons, Jim, David and Roger D.; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Euell; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Damon HONEA.

Burial is in Redbird Smith Cemetery north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Dec. 3, in Tahlequah, to Jimmy Dale McKEEN and Lavina Mae HOOPER. He died on Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, in Tahlequah. Survivors include his parents of the home; maternal grandparents, Rosetta MUNIZ and Rufus HOOPER Jr.; paternal grandparents, Violet McKEEN and Roy Lee McKEEN; maternal great-grandmother, Rosie MORRIS; paternal great-grandparents, Pete and Betty McKEEN; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for James Douglas MORAN, 71, were held at 1p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Alexandria, Va. Interment Ivy Hill Cemetery. A reception immediately followed interment at First Baptist Church of Alexandria. He was born in Salisbury Mills, New York on March 29, 1933. He died on Monday, Nov. 29, 2004 in Morristown, Tenn. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Alice (HATFIELD) MORAN of Springfield; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Kevin and his wife Kasey, and Michael and his wife Glenda; two grandchildren; two nieces. He is preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle (JOHNSTON) MORAN; his father, James MORAN; and two sisters, Elvira (MORAN) DeSANTIS and Gloria (MORAN) DORRIAN.

Funeral services for Nadean Marie PILKINGTON, 78, of Enid were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder Vanoy Fitch officiating. Burial was in Del Norte Cemetery in Drummond, under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. She was born on May 17, 1926, in Ames, to Clint and Lillie (FOGELSONG) VANCE. She died on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.  In 1970, married Wiley PILKINGTON. Survivors include one son, Rod and his wife Ronna; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Algene "Bud". She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for R.V. "Tanner" RYAN, 80, of Muldrow, are being held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, with the Rev. Anthoy Williams officiating. Burial is in Redland Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. He was born on Aug. 31, 1924, in Redland, to Arthur RYAN and Pearl (JONES) RYAN. He died on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, in Muldrow. He married Margie (JORDAN) RYAN on Aug. 21, 1953, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Margie RYAN of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Danny, and Susan and Kenny, and Myra and Terry; two sons and daughters-in-law, Archer and Tracy, and Joe and Sheila; 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jay, Ewell and Bud RYAN and one sister, Arlene MIDDLETON.

Burial was in Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on April 8, 1980, in Sallisaw, to Ricky Allen SMITH and Judy (HADDOX) VAUGHN. He died on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, in Cookson. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Judy and Willis VAUGHN; his father, Ricky SMITH; one daughter, Brittany Lynn; one son, Trevor Alen; two sisters, Amanda and Alisha; mother of his children, Tera; maternal grandparents, Noble and Betty HADDOX; his fiance, Faith; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin Levi VAUGHN.

Burial is in Palestine Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler. He was born on Jan. 19, 1933, in Russellville, to Ira and Edna (GINN) ADCOCK. He died on Dec. 14, 2004, in Stigler. He was also preceded in death by one son, M.D. AMOS Jr. and one son-in-law, Cal BROCK.

Funeral services for Ruby Myrtle ANDERSON, 80, of Mannford, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at White Chapel Church, near Gore, with the Revs. Lamond Garrison and Garner Garrison officiating. Burial was in South Bethel Cemetery in Braggs, under the direction of Bradley Family Funeral Home of Muskogee. She was born on Dec. 6, 1924, in Braggs, to Jim and Sarah (BRIDGES) ANTHONY. She died on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, in Mannford Nursing Home. Survivors include one daughter, Jonett; two sons, Mike and Gene; siblings, Helen, J.D. and Coy; her grandchildren;13 great-grandchildren; and one step-sister, Tommye Jewel.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, William Dean ANDERSON and David ANDERSON; one granddaughter, Victoria ANDERSON and one sister, Marceline (ANTHONY) ROWE.

Funeral services for Jimmy COLEMAN, 49, of Muldrow, were held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Ark., with burial in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. He died on Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, in Shreveport, La. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Jimmy D. and Sue COLEMAN; two sisters, Tresa and Beverly; two step-sisters, Debbie and Carolyn; one step-brother, James.

"Bubba" FLANAGAN, 81, of Poteau, formerly of West Helena, Ark. and West Memphis, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Poteau, with the Revs. Kenneth Williams and Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. He was born on July 25, 1923, in Poteau. He died on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, in Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean FLANAGAN of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Barry, and Stephen and Cathy; one granddaughter; two grandsons; one sister, Geraldine; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for William A. "Jude" GREEN, 97, of Cameron, were held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Williams Baptist Church in Williams, with the Rev. Jackie Edwards officiating. Funeral services for Rev. Herman HARRISON, 71, of Roland, are being held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Graveside services for Donald HOLMAN, 50, of Fletcher, formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 16, 2004 at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, with full Military Honors presented by personnel from Fort Sill, under the direction of Hodge Funeral Home of Fletcher. He was born on Dec. 20, 1953, in Cottage Grove, Ore., to Fred HOLMAN and Edna (HART) HOLMAN. He died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, in his home. Mr. HOLMAN married Pamela SWENE on Dec. 1, 1984, in Braggs.  Survivors include his wife, Pam HOLMAN of the home; one son, Jeff and his wife, Angela; three daughters, Shanna, Tina and her husband David, and Katreena and her husband William; one adopted son, Kevin and his wife, Dannell; eight grandchildren; one sister, Kathy; three brothers, Ricky, David and Freddy; his mother and her special friend Gene; and his mother-in-law, Betty SWENKE. She died on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, in her home. She married Alexander SOKOLOSKY on Dec. 28, 1938, in Cleveland County. Mr. WEAVER died on Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, in a Fort Smith, Ark. hospital. Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Sept. 3, 1921, in Denmark, Ark., to Charley THRASHER and Carrie KING THRASHER. She died on Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, in Sallisaw. She married William W. WILEY on Nov. 13, 1940, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Aug. 14, 1972. Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Patsy and George, Brenda and Carl, and Joanne, and Billie Sue and Kenneth; one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Judy; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Arlene; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was born on March 1, 1930, in Greenland, Ark. She died on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, in Fort Smith. Survivors include three daughters, Sherryl, Lesa and Lori; seven sons, Warren, Randy, Allen, Brian and Greg, Ricky and Terry; 26 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, John and Larry. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Tony CAMPBELL; three brothers and her husband, Percy WILLSON.
