Memorial services for Betty D. BELL, 62, of Muldrow are to be held at a later date. She died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, in Muldrow. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BELL was born on Jan. 23, 1944, in the Starr community to Arlie CHRISTENBERRY and Alberta (ROMINE) CHRISTENBERRY. She married Johnnie Ray BELL on March 9, 1968, in Heavener. Survivors include her husband, Johnnie of the home; one daughter, Jennifer; one son, Toby; one granddaughter; four sisters, Freda, Margie, Wanda and Debbie; and three brothers, Jesse, Donnie and Billy.
Funeral services for Myrtle TABOR JEREMIAH DEWITT, 85, of Charleston, Ark., formerly of Muldrow, are being held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Liberty Assembly of God Church in Liberty with Revs. Steve Shinn and Andy O'Neal officiating. Burial is in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. DEWITT was born Feb. 12, 1921, in the Liberty community, to John Henry TABOR and Llora (ROBARS) TABOR. She died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Bernadine and Johnny, E.J. "Jeanie", and Lois Renee and Billy "Hutch"; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Nicy; one brother-in-law, Arley; many nieces, nephews, and many friends; and special friends, David and Kenneth and Angie. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Dempsey JEREMIAH and Luther DEWITT, her parents, six brothers, Charles TABOR, Alva TABOR, Bob TABOR, Shird TABOR, Oscar TABOR, and Ted TABOR and five sisters, Rose HENSON, Vida VAUGHN, Bertha TRAMMELL, Margaret FUGETT and Etta BRIDGES.
Funeral services for Odessia EUBANKS, 88, of Stilwell, are being held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hart Memorial Chapel in Stilwell. The Bro. Jimmy Muskrat is officiating. Burial is in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell. Mrs. EUBANKS was born on June 6, 1918, in Sequoyah County. She died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, in Stilwell. Mrs. EUBANKS was an active member of the Free Holiness Mission. Survivors include her daughter, Martha, and her husband, Jerry; one sister, Bonnie; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five step-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John EUBANKS, seven brothers, two sisters, and three step-sons, Bill, Jack, and Dallas EUBANKS.
Funeral services for Emily Jo RIGGS FRASHER, 81, of Glendale, Ariz., formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. FRASHER was born Dec. 17, 1924, in Sallisaw, to Maurice RIGGS and Minnie Lee (MILLER) RIGGS. She died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, in Glendale, Ariz. She married Dennis W. "Jack" FRASHER who preceded her in death, Sept. 1, 1980. Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Lela and Louise; two nieces; one nephew; and numerous other family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Carney L. FOREMAN.
Funeral services for Mollie M. KENNEDY, 79, of Stigler were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Stigler. The Revs. Tommy Honeycutt and Glenn Kates officiated. Burial was in the Whitefield Cemetery in Whitefield under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler. Mrs. KENNEDY was born on Sept. 16, 1927, in Sallisaw to John F. and Pearl Mae (PETREE) BURNS. She died Nov. 28, 2006, in Stigler. Mrs. KENNEDY was a homemaker and member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Stigler. She married Roland "Buck" KENNEDY on Nov. 15, 1947, in Stigler. Survivors include her husband, Roland "Buck" KENNEDY of the home; five sisters, Geneva, Shirley, Barbara, Dixie, and Ruth; one brother, Homer; her adopted family, Lewis and his wife, Sue, and their sons; and several nieces, nephews, friends and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Junior and John M. and two sisters, Gladys PENNY and Sue SPENCER.
Funeral services for Thomas Clyde MOORE, 67, of Gore will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Gore United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jean Rozell will officiate. Burial will be in the Gore City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. MOORE was born on March 27, 1939, in Locke, Ark., to Willie Waymon MOORE and Patsy Rea (JACKSON) MOORE. He died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Delora SHOPE on April 2, 1976, in Edna, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Delora MOORE of the home; his children, Tom Jr., and Greg and Sharla, David and Tracy, Becky and Tom, Tina and Juan; sisters, Virginia, and Stella and Kenneth; brothers, Raymond, Dwight and Helen, and Paul and Linda; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services for JoAnn Alice HEBBARD BUNN, 70, of Y-City, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Waldron First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Chant Cemetery in Y-City, under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron. Mrs. BUNN died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, in Waldron. Mrs. BUNN was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Survivors include one daughter, Sheri; two sons, Claud "Butch", Jr. and wife, Peggy, Ted and wife Leann; two sisters, Phyllys and Sharon; one brother, Jerry; five grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Debra BUNN and Tina BUNN, husband, Claud Avery BUNN, Sr. and her father, James "Jim" Loung HEBBARD.
Funeral services for Roger CASEY, 85, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodlawn Memorial Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr. CASEY was born Jan. 24, 1921, in Chismville, Ark. He died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Vera; one daughter, Lori; two step-sons, Alan and Kenny W.; one sister, Marie; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Kenneth D. FREEMAN, 58, of Roland are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Evangel Temple in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial is in the Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. FREEMAN died on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Theresa, of the home; one daughter, Kerina; three sons, Jason, Damon, and Eric; two sisters, Katheryn and Betty; one brother, Joe; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services for Maxine SPYRES HIXON, 80, of Conway, Ark., were held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Marble City Cemetery. The Rev. Carl Hixon officiated. The services were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HIXON was born on Jan. 29, 1926, in Stilwell to James Dewey SPYRES and Bonnie Mae (SUMPTER) SPYRES. She died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006 in Conway. She married Carl W. HIXON on Oct. 6, 1945, in Selma, Calif. Survivors include her husband, Carl, of the home; two daughters, Tena M. and Pamela; two sons, Ronald C., and Rodney P.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Dewey; three sisters, Peggy, June, and Shirley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
