Funeral services  for Bobbie Gene JONES, 60, of Fort Smith, Ark., are  being held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Moffett.  Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery, south of Roland, under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary in Fort Smith.  Mr. JONES died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, in a local hospital.  Survivors include one daughter,  Clara; one son, Robert; two sisters, Eva and Cora; four brothers, James D., Lawrence E., Otha and Charles R.; and four grandchildren.

Memorial services for Aurora Katherine "Dovie" McCLUNG, 77, of Gore will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at North Fresno Mennonite Brethren Church in Fresno, Calif.  Mrs. McCLUNG was born May 12, 1921, in McIntosh County, to Samuel M. KIMBRO and Sadie (MATTHEWS) KIMBRO.  She died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include four daughters, Katherine, Caroline, Sadie and Cynthia; two sons, Bill and Sam; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Ed; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.   Mrs. McCLUNG  was preceded in death by two brothers.  Arrangements are under the direction of Thomas-Robinson Funeral Home in Selma.

Funeral services for Helen Ruth MUSSAR, 56,  of Gassville, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Zafara Church of Christ, with Bro. Riley Donica officiating.  Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hatfield, Ark., under the direction of Hall Funeral Service in Mena, Ark.  Mrs. MUSSAR  was born July 22, 1942, in Mena, to Robert T. "Ollie" STINSON and Eloise (MOWDY) STINSON.  She died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at her home.   Survivors include her husband, Frank MUSSAR SR.,  of Gassville; four daughters, Cindy, Kristie, Audrey, and Christina; two sons, Archie Frank Jr.,  and Frank Jr. ; two brothers, Gerald and Arley; three sisters, June, Sue and Marilyn "Tiny"; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services for Tommie Howard O'DELL, 67, of Porum were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Porum Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Tim Boyles officiating.  Burial was in Fields Cemetery in Porum, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls.  Mr. O'DELL was born Aug. 31, 1931, in Pittsburg, to Lee and Jessie (HUCKABA) O'DELL.  He died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, at his home.  He married Nell Hensley, Aug. 28, 1975, in Stigler.  Survivors include his wife, Nell O'DELL of the home, his mother, Jessie; step-children, Larry and Valerie, Tom and Anita, Sherry, Beth and Butch, and Mary and Randy; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Frances, David and Alberta, and Virgil and Mary; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Joy and J. T., Coleen and Troy, and Sue and Gary; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Floyd SKAGGS, 70, of Vian are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Blackgum Harvestime Pentecostal Church.  Burial is in White Chapel Cemetery in Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. SKAGGS was born Dec. 22, 1927, in Cherokee County, to Albert and Audrey (ROSS) SKAGGS.  He died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998, in Sallisaw.  He married Arniva HORNBACK  Sept. 22, 1974, in Blackgum. Survivors include his wife, Arniva SKAGGS of the home; four sons and one daughter-in-law, Eddie and Liz, Dale, Johnny and Randall; three daughters and one-son-in-law, Patricia, Janie and David, and Anita; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eldridge  and Bob; three sisters, Inez, Cloey and Louise Lee; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  Mr. SKAGGS  was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, James and Faron SKAGGS.

Graveside services for Charlie ST. JOHN, 72, of Vian were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Cemetery in Pawhuska.  Mr. ST. JOHN was born April 25, 1926, in Pawhuska, to Herbert ST. JOHN and Edith  (MITCHELL) ST. JOHN.  He died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, at his home.   He married Virginia Joyce MCCOY.  Survivors include his wife, Joyce ST. JOHN of the home; four daughters; two sons; one sister; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory-Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Brinkley "B. J. " YOUNGER JR. 59, of Roland were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Revs. Alden Ruckman and Tim Adair officiating.  Burial was in Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.  Mr. YOUNGER  was born Oct. 2, 1939, in Roland, to  Brinkley YOUNGER SR. and Lottie Mary (KLING) YOUNGER.  He died  Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark.     He married Dorothene WEAVER Oct. 2, 1966, in Muldrow.  Survivors  include his wife, Dorothene W. YOUNGER of the home; two daughters, Michelle Lynn and Jean Ann; one son, Michael; three grandchildren; and one brother, Elbert.

Funeral services for Roberta (GAINES) McDONALD, 84, of Roland were held at 1 p.m. Friday at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Moffett.  Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery, south of Roland, under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith, Ark.  Mrs. McDONALD died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, in a local hospital.   Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn and Sharon; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for John B. PORTER, 77, of Cottonwood, Ariz. were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Brushy Holiness Church, north of Sallisaw.  Burial was in Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. PORTER  was born April 5, 1921, in Marble City, to William Monroe Oscar PORTER and Nora Mae (MCKINNEY) PORTER.  He died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, in Cottonwood.  He married Betty BIANCHINI in New Orleans, La.   Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Betty PORTER of the home; four sons, John, Aaron, Jordan and David; three daughters, Valerie, Sarah and Rebecca; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Mae; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Don Richard BROWN, 63,  of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday Eastside Holiness Church in  Muldrow.  Burial was in Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Ark.   Mr. BROWN died Sunday,  Dec. 6, 1998, in a Fort Smith hospital.  Survivors include two daughters, Nancy and Linda; one son, Don Richard Jr.; three sisters, Betty, Lucille and Grace; four brothers,  George, Junior, Billy Jo and Herbert; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  Mr. BROWN was preceded in death by his wife, Donna BROWN.

Funeral services for Trevis Coy COOK, 64, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Bill Fuller officiating.  Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. COOK was born March 11, 1934, in the Liberty community, to Garland Lee COOK and Rosena Catherine  (CALCOTE) COOK.  He died  Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998, in Sallisaw.   Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Karen Denise and Dirby Cordell; four sisters, Gwenda, Sheila, Bernell and Daphene; one brother, Jerry.

Funeral services for Saran Sue DUNCAN, 50, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Tim Ohls officiating.  Burial was in Redland Cemetery, south of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.   Mrs. DUNCAN  was born Oct. 15, 1948, in Redland, to Robert Enoch BRIDGERS and Armilda Virginia (JOHNSON) BRIDGERS.  She died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998, in Fort Smith.  She married Wayne CALHOUN Aug. 13, 1993, in Fort Smith.  Survivors include her husband, Wayne CALHOUN of the home; two sons, Robert Michael and Donald William; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her father, Bob; three sisters, Frances, JoAnna and Nancy Jane; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.  Mrs. DUNCAN was preceded in death by one brother, David Robert BRIDGERS in March 1997.

Funeral services for Corlene (LEWIS) "Happy"  EMERSON, 83, of Gore were held at 10 a.m. Monday at White Cemetery in Gore, with the Rev. Mike McConnell officiating.  Mrs. EMERSON was born March 9, 1915, in Ti, to Sullivan and Alice (GOAD) LEWIS.  She died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, in Rogers, Ark.  Survivors include one son, Jack; one daughter, Doris; one brother,  Robert; two sisters, Imogene and June; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.    Mrs. EMERSON was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon EMERSON, her parents, one step-son, and his wife, Floyd and Almalee EMERSON, one brother, Chief LEWIS,  and one sister, Naomi GORDON.  Arrangements were under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls.

Funeral services for Martha Belle GARNER, 78, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.   Burial was in U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.  Mrs. GARNER died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, in a Fort Smith hospital.  Survivors include her husband, William J. L. GARNER of Fort Smith; one daughter, Norma Sue; one son, Cecil W.; one brother, James V.; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Dolly Ann HECKARD, 77, of Cedarville, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hall Cemetery  Arbor in Natural Dam, Ark.  Mrs. HECKARD died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998, in a local hospital.  Survivors include six daughters, Mary, Rachel, Wilma, Jane, Nelda and Pauline; four sons, Harmon, Roy, James and Leslie; one brother, Tom; 28 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.  Arrangements were under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Funeral services for Clara M. (PENDERGRASS) JACKSON, 93, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Moffett Pentecostal Church of God in Moffett.  Burial was in Fleetwood Cemetery, east of Sallisaw, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Mrs. PENDERGRASS died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, in a Fort Smith hospital.  Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis, Shirley and Connie; two sons, J. C. and Glen; four step-sisters, Lola, Ava, Williene and Jenny; 24 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Pearlie Belle McCOY, 90, of Midland, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.  Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.  Mrs. McCOY died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998, at her  home.  Survivors include her husband, Carl G. McCOY of the home; six daughters, Dorothy, Gretchen, Sue, Loretta, Kay and Marie;  six sons, Charles, Woodrow, Jay, Gene, Jerry and Farriel; one brother, Woodrow; 57 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Johnny Lee TAYLOR, 56, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Marble City Free Holiness Church, with the Revs. Johnny Watkins and Clifton Pettit officiating.  Burial was in Dwight Mission Cemetery, northwest of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.    Mr. TAYLOR  was born Sept. 10, 1942, in Braggs, to David Levi TAYLOR and Mildred Lilly (DOTSON) TAYLOR.  He died Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, near Marble City.  Survivors include his wife, Louella (LOCUST) TAYLOR of the home; two sons, Johnny Wayne and Billy Wayne; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Lillian, Verla, Phyllis and Kathleen; and three brothers, Charles, David Eugene and Bill.  Mr. TAYLOR was preceded in death by one sister, Avis Renee TAYLOR in 1961.

Graveside services for Glen Dale TWIST, 61, of Rose are being held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Box Cemetery, north of Vian.  Mr. TWIST was born Oct. 2, 1937, in Glendale, Texas, to George and Bonnie (VAUGHN) TWIST.  He died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, near Shawnee.  Survivors include three daughters, Jeanie, Carla and Kathy; one son, Robert; four grandchildren; seven sisters, and two brothers.  Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Paul Edward COOKSEY SR., 53, of the Flute Springs community near Marble City, are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Marble City School gymnasium, with Carl Hanks and Briggs Chuculate officiating.  Burial is in Flute Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.   Mr. COOKSEY  was born March 24, 1945, in Tahlequah, to Benton and Katie (BEAVER) COOKSEY.  He died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1998, in Sallisaw.   Survivors include his wife, Mary FLUTE COOKSEY of the home; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Paul "Sonny" and Tamara, Benton Thomas, and Dan; two sisters, Daggie Mae and Ella Mae;  two brothers, William and Roy; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Daniel Ode "Junior" MERRILL, 74, of Gans are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church in Gans, with the Rev. Lynn Stringfellow officiating. Burial is in Fleetwood Cemetery, east of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. MERRIEL  was born Feb. 7, 1924, in Blackjack.  He died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1998, at his home.  Survivors include his wife, Mary M. (LITTLE) MERRILL of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Tracy and Andrea; three grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel and Emma; and Four brothers, Larry, Wayne, Jess and Jerry.  Mr. MERRILL was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Ode MERRILL SR. and Prilla MERRILL.

Graveside services for Jimmie BARNES, 76, of Sallisaw were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Jerry Green officiating.  Mr. BARNES was born March 30, 1922, in Sallisaw, to James Matthew BARNES and Mary Catherine (SNYER) BARNES.  He died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at his home in Gans.  He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Stacey and Brenda; and five grandchildren.  Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Ruth CLAPPER BYRD, 78, former Sallisaw resident died Dec. 6, 1998, at Georgetown Medical Center in Washington, D. C.   Born in Akron, Ohio.  She was married  in Sallisaw in May, 1946, to Bill W. BYRD.   Mrs. BYRD is survived by her daughter, Adrianne B.; three grandchildren; one nephew; and one niece.  Funeral services and inturnment in the Arlington National Cemetery will occur Dec. 23, 1998.

Belle M. CARTER, 73, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, at her home.  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lewis Chapel in Fort Smith.  Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home in Fort Smith.   She married Cody Calvin CARTER.  He preceded her in death.  She is survived by three daughters, Lila, Becky and Donna; four sons, Richard, Stephen, Roger and  David; one sister, Ruth; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Miss India Ola FINE, 93, of Sallisaw died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, in Sallisaw.  Funeral services are being held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Akins Baptist Church, with the Revs. Vernon Smith and Billie Fine officiating.  Burial is in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Miss FINE was born Oct. 22, 1905, in the Akins community, Sequoyah District, Oklahoma, Indian Territory, to William Henry FINE and Flora Ida (CHEEK) FINE.    Survivors include three sisters, Gladys, Mable and Mary Hope; three brothers, Rev. Billie, Charles and Jack.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Lee OWENS, 67, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Gary Hamby officiating.  Burial is in Gans City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. OWENS was born April 19, 1931, in Wink, Texas, to George FITZGERALD and Mertis (NIKER) FITZGERALD.  She died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark.  She married Alva Edison OWENS July 23, 1948, in Odessa, Texas.  Survivors include her husband, Alva OWENS of the home; three grandchildren; and one sister, Jo Ann.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Avis Diane OWENS in 1972; one son, Jimmy OWENS in 1992; and one sister, Thelma Jean LANE.

Funeral services for Gertie REED SMITH, 93, of Gore were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Gore, with the Rev. Bill Buttram officiating.  Burial was in Gore Cemetery, under the direction of Agent in Gore.  Mrs. SMITH was born July 30, 1905, in Casas Ark., to William Henry REED and Rosa Ella (CARTER) REED.  She died Sunday,  Dec. 13, 1998, in Gore.  She married Charles C. SMITH Dec. 25, 1930, in Haskell. He preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1967.  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Rosamary and Wayne; two grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and seven nieces.

Graveside services for Edna Mae TRAMMELL, 78, of Gore were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, with Paul Bates officiating.  Mrs. TRAMMELL was born May 28, 1920 in the Sequoyah County to Samuel William JOHNSON and Martha (DANIELS) JOHNSON.   She died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include five sons, George, James, Paul, Charles "Boots", and Don; two daughters, Mary and Barbara; three sisters, Mildred, Erdie and Lavada; one brother, George; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. TRAMMELL was preceded in death by her husband, Earl TRAMMEL, one son, Marion Ray TRAMMELL, and three grandchildren.  Services were under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.

Ewart officiating.  Mrs. BREWER was born Jan. 23, 1902, in Dallas, to William J. WATTS and Maybelle (GLASS) WATTS.  She died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, in Sallisaw.  She married Fred Brewer.  He preceded her in death April 1958.   Survivors include two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren;two great-great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Nettie; and nieces, nephews and friends.  Mrs. BREWER was also preceded in death by one great-grandson, Jeffery Thane JACKSON on Jan. 6, 1998, in Roopville, Ga.

Funeral services for Marie "Granny" DUNHAM, 81, of Cedarville, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren, Ark., under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.  Mrs. DUNHAM  died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, at her home.  Survivors include two daughters, Linda and Jackie; one son, George; one sister, Hazel; one brother, Allen; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for William Lawton HOLT, 61, of Roland were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. J. D. Jordan officiating.  Burial was in Lee's Chapel Cemetery, south of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mr. HOLT was born April 22, 1937, in Sequoyah Coutny, to Sidney A. HOLT and Gladys Hermal (DOBBS) HOLT.  He died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark.   Survivors include two sons, Ronald Gene and Doyle Ray; one daughter, Rosie Christine; four brothers, Cleon, Charles, Calvin and Kenneth; and three sisters, Wilma, Elizabeth and Melva.

Funeral services for Thelma Marie MOSS, 87, of Vian are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Vian, with the Rev. James Ogden officiating.  Burial is in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. MOSS was born July 15, 1911, in Vian to William Washington WHITTENBURG and Malinda Elizabeth WHITTENBURG.  She died Wednesday Dec. 16, 1998, in Vian. She married Ernest Tourin MOSS on May 12, 1930, in Gore.  He preceded her in death March 6, 1991, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include one daughter, Billie; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Frances Marie NEWBERRY, 68, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, with the Revs. Herbert Lee and Braxton Bigot officiating.  Burial is in Memory  Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. NEWBERRY was born March 2, 1930, in Adair Coutny, to Ervin and Anna (SHARRAH) BROCK.  She died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark.  She married Lawrence NEWBERRY June 14, 1947, in Van Buren, Ark.  Survivors include her husband, Lawrence of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and the Rev. Braxton; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Donna; four grandchildren; and one sister, Ella Mae; two brothers, William Eugene and Charles David; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Roy  Lee PHILPOT, 81, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 10, at Apostolic Faith Holiness Church in Sallisaw, with the Revs. Leon Farley, Carl Page and Larry Don Marley officiating.  Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. PHILPOT was born March 30, 1917, in Sequoyah County, to Marvin Lee PHILPOT and Bartie Elizabeth (BREWER) PHILPOT.  He died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1998, at his home.  Survivors include two daughters Ruby Jean and husband Jack, and Martha Ann and husband Kenneth; also 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Cleo, Opal, Grace and Anna; four brothers, Elzie, Norman, Bill  and Wesley.  Mr. PHILPOT  was preceded in death by his son, James Edward PHILPOT.  Three brothers, Wesley PHILPOT,  Charles and George PHILPOT and two great-grandsons, and companion of twenty years, Hallie O. GIBSON, also both parents.

Funeral services for Daisy G. ROTHSCHILLER, 86, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.   Burial was in Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.  Mrs. ROTHSCHILLER died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1998, in a Fort Smith hospital.  Survivors include four daughters, Patty Lee, Bobbie, Francis and husband Alvin, , and Sammie Sue and husband, Roy; one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Linda; one sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Robert; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.  Mrs. ROTHSCHILLER was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathryn DEESE, and one son, Tommy Dale SNIDER.

Funeral services for Velma Vivian TAYLOR, 78, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.   Burial was in Copeland Cemetery near Sallisaw.  Mrs. TAYLOR  died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, in a Fort Smith nursing home.  Survivors include three daughters, Deane, Lou and Faye; two sons, Gene and Don; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for E. W. "Shang" COCKE, 87, of Vian will be held Tuesday at South Fairview Cemetery in Wellington, Texas.  Mr. COCKE was born May 30, 1911, in Wellington, to Edmund W. COCKE  SR. and Gussie (SHERWOOD) COCKE.  He died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, in Muskogee.   He married Mabel WEST in May 1936.  She preceded him in death Feb. 27, 1987.   Survivors include two sons, Winston and David; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Billy Joe; one sister, Dorothy; and several nephews, cousins and relatives.  Mr. COCKE was also preceded in death by one brother, Sam COCKE.  Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw and Adams Funeral Home in Wellington.

Funeral services for Cecil DAVIS, 85,  of Blackgum were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Blackgum.  Burial was in Box Cemetery, north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. DAVIS  was born Oct. 23, 1913, in Blackgum, to Charlie and Lula Ann (MCFARLAND) DAVIS.  He died Saturday, Dec. 19, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark.  He married Nannie Lee JOHNSON  Dec. 4, 1934, in Vian.  Survivors include his wife, Nannie Lee DAVIS  of the home; six daughters, Louise, Kathy, Bernice, Carol, Gail and Charlette; four sons, Dwayne, Charles, Ricky and Mike; 43 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Madge Marie, Lois Fay, Melvin Merrell and Mary Ellen; and seven brothers, Lester Owen, Wylie Samuel, Albert Fulton, Robert Benson, Buster T.,  Jack Cletis and Raymond Lee.    Mr. DAVIS  was preceded in death by three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one great-great-grandchild, two sisters, Vivian Alline and Velma Olive, and four brothers, Lowell Cahal, Marion Thomas, Arthur Amber and Charley Austin DAVIS.

Graveside services for Nadia Effie (BOLING) FIELDS, 57, of Oklahoma City will be held  at 2 p.m. Monday at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw.  Mrs. FIELDS was born April 4, 1941, in Vian, to Ralph and Goldie Agnus (RISLEY) BOLING.  She died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, in Oklahoma City.  She married Gene Lee FIELDS July 3, 1959, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Ann, Brenda Sue and Ginger Louis; one son, Johnny Lee; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five sisters, Lottie, Dorothy, Nettie, Ollie and Margaret; and two brothers, Kenneth and Charles.   Mrs. FIELDS  was preceded in death by her husband, Gene FIELDS Sept. 7, 1998, and twin grandsons, Justin Gene and Dustin Wayne.   Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Mr. Paul OSBURN, 75, of Sallisaw died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, in Sallisaw.  He was born Oct. 27, 1923, in the Maple community, to Joe and Bertha (MCGLOTHLIN) OSBURN.  Survivors include one daughter, Jo Anne; one son, Danny; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Fern and Ruby Jean; and three brothers, Bill, Olen and Richard.  Mr. OSBURN was preceded in death by one granddaughter.  Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

G., Margaret, and Jessie and Raymond, and Bessie Sue and James; 28 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.  Mr. MURPHY was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lizzie DIRTSELLER and three grandchildren, Dexter RIDER, Jeremy Curtson MORGAN and Sherry JACKSON.

Mrs. Arniva SKAGGS, 63, of Vian died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Blackgum Harvestime Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Dwain Hardbarger and Chris Armer officiating.  Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. SKAGGS was born Aug. 12, 1935, in Braggs, to John and Eva (DISHMAN) HORNBACK.   She married James Floyd SKAGGS Sept. 22, 1974, in Blackgum.  He preceded her in death Dec. 1, 1998.  Survivors include two daughters,  and one son-in-law, Janie and David, and Anita; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dale and Paula, and Randall and Laronna; and John; one step-son, Eddie; one step-daughter, Patricia; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mildred, Bertie, Darlene and Molly; and two brothers, Ben and Johnny.

Raymond Ragsdale officiating.  Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. BALLARD  was born May 5, 1926, in the Sycamore community, to William Randolph BALLARD  and Fannie Mae (CRAIGHEAD) BALLARD.  He died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Sallisaw.  He married Dona Jean DAILY Sept. 5, 1947, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include his wife, Donna BALLARD  of the home; three sons, Allen, Kiffin and Keach; three grandchildren; and three sisters, Maxine,  Barbara and Edna.  Mr. BALLARD was preceded in death by one brother, Tuxa BALLARD.

George Thomas COLLINS, 82, of Sallisaw died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Sallisaw.  He was born Oct. 16, 1916, in Erick, to George Washington COLLINS  and Ethel Emma (MOSLEY) COLLINS.   Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Jean; two brothers, Aubrey and Charles.  Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Leroy Reid officiating.  Burial was in Gans Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. WALLS  was born Feb. 8, 1933, in Fort Smith, Ark., to John and Cora Ann (PETREE) RICHARDSON.  She died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at a Fort Smith hospital.  Her husband, Leonard WALLS, preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1991.  Survivors include four daughters, Shirley, Sheila, Doris and Nedra; three sons, Wheyford, Lloyd and Michael; one sister, Versey; three brothers, Garvin, Bill and Thurman; 28 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  Mrs. WALLS was also preceded in death by her parents and three children, Ivy Darlene CUDE, Roger WALLS and Claborn WALLS.

Funeral services for Niva Elzoria WANN, 77, of Madera, Calif., formerly of Muldrow, were held at 11 a.m Dec. 14, at Jay Chapel in Madera.  Burial was  in Dos Palos Cemetery in Dos Palos, Calif.   Mrs. WANN was born in Sugar Grove,  Ark.  she died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998, in Fresno, Calif.  Survivors include seven daughters, Juanita, Betty, Berti, Ann, June, Linda and Rebecca; two sons, Charles D. and Larry; one sister, Lelan; 27 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. WANN was preceded in death by her husband, Ezery WANN.

Funeral services for Patricia Jo WATERS, 62, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Assembly of God Church, with Tommy Treat officiating.  Burial is in Seabolt Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.   Mrs. WATERS  was born Aug. 24, 1936, in Short, to Tip and Zella (BARNES) HAMMERS.   She died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Vanette and Jim; two sisters, Darlene and Jeannie; five brothers, Jack, Glenn, Vernon, Marion  and George; three grandchildren.  Mrs. WATERS  was preceded in death by her husband, Sam WATERS in October 1990.

Eva Mae WILLIAMS, 90, of Vian, formerly of Gans died  Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998, in Vian.  She was born July 15, 1908, in Round Lake, Minn., to George Washington EVELAND and Lillian SCHMOL EVELAND.  Survivors include one daughter, Gladys; one son Verlon; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. and one sister, Lillian.  Mrs. WILLIAMS was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie WILLIAMS.  Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
