Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Heavener, under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Elbert; one daughter, Annis; two sons, Gene and Joe; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ruth Lee BUTTERY, 57, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Blackgum Harvestime Temple, with the Rev. Chris Armer officiating. Burial was in Box Cemetery in Blackgum, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls. Mrs. BUTTERY was born April 24, 1942, in Gore, to Henry and Minnie (LAYMON) CHISUM. She died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw. Survivors include her husband, Clyde BUTTERY; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Ruth Ann and Barry and Cindy; four grandchildren; one brother, Eules; and special sister, Marie; other relatives and friends. Mrs. BUTTERY was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Tim and Albert CHISUM.

Funeral services for Gladys V. CLICK, 72, of Muldrow are being held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Andy O'Neal officiating. Burial is in the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Mrs. CLICK was born June 13, 1927, in the Boyd Flat community, to John and Lucy (WATERS) RIDDLE. She died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, in Fort Smith. She married Herbert Bascom CLICK July 2, 1970. He died Dec. 15, 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Jean and JoAnn; one son Thomas; three stepdaughters, Sue, Vickie and Judy K; five stepsons, Herbert Lee, Tommy, Glenn, Charles and Larry; 27 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Owen B., Clarence, Fred and Andy. Mrs. CLICK was also preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Thomas RHODES.

Graveside services for Billy George McCLURE, 52, of Spiro are being held at 11 a.m. Thursday in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, with the Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Mr. McCLURE was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Sallisaw, to George O. McCLURE and Carmon Ruth (REMY) McCLURE. He died Monday, Nov. 29,1999, in Spiro. Survivors include his father George O. McCLURE; one brother, Gary Lee; two sisters, Patsy, and Linda; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Charles Albert REED, 53, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Magellan O'Neal officiating. Mr. REED was born Oct. 18, 1946, in San Bernardino, Calif., to George Ancil REED and Florence Marie (MONTGOMERY) REED. He died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Shirley Jean WILLIAMS April 7, 1971, in Arkoma. Survivors include his wife, Shirley REED of the home; two daughters, Jessica and Tasha; two sons, Chuck and Kennith; his mother, Marie REED; one sister, Irma; two brothers, Calvin and Darrell; and three aunts, Wilma, Flossie, and Eva Jo.

Graveside services for Steven Jay THOMAS, 28, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Rocky Point Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, with he Rev. Lee Killer officiating. Mr. THOMAS was born Aug. 10, 1971, in Sallisaw, to Wilbur Fay THOMAS and Willie Roberta (BROWN) THOMAS. He died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter, Courtney Mechell; one son, Triston Samuel; one sister, Lenora; three brothers, Dewayne, Mitch and Doug; and his paternal grandmother, Vida. Mr. THOMAS was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandfather, Walter THOMAS. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Dale Alvin WISE, 80, of Sallisaw died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, in Sallisaw. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Jerry Green officiating. Burial will be in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. WISE was born June 3, 1919, in Pompeii, Mich., to Alvin and Ruth (WALKER) WISE. He married Meryl Irene HOLLOWAY July 11, 1936, in Jay. She preceded him in death Jan. 13, 1998. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jean Ann and Tom; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. Mr. WISE was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sarah Lou JONES in 1994; and one brother, Kenneth in 1992.

Orba Gerald ELMORE, 69, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Witcherville, Ark., died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, in Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethesda Assembly of God Church in Oklahoma City, with the Revs. Cecil Brown and Craig Dacus officiating. Burial was held Friday at Huntington Cemetery in Huntington, Ark., following a 2 p.m. funeral service at the Huntington Assembly of God Church. Mr. ELMORE was born Aug. 19, 1930, in Witcherville, to Otis Green ELMORE and Mary Celiste (MOORE) ELMORE. He married Mona Faye MAYO on July 14, 1959. Survivors include his wife, Faye ELMORE of the home; four sons and daughters-in-law, the Rev. Byron and Diana and David and Rhonda and Lonnie and Pam and the Rev. Duane and Misty; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Nelson and Joe and Eula; one brother-in-law, Loren; two sisters, Mildred and Marie; two sisters-in-law, Ruby and Geneva; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. ELMORE was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Fred, M.J., Albert, Reuben and Buford ELMORE; one sister, Mattie LEWIS; and an infant daughter, Clara Mae ELMORE. He died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, in Muldrow. He married Evie J. ENGLAND May 29, 1947, in Fort Smith, Ark. She preceded him in death Dec. 10, 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia and Debbie; one son, Perry L.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Viola; one brother, Gene; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Survivors include five sisters, Evelene, Virginia, Willie Mae, Irene, and Ora Belle; Mr. FLURRY was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Billie Jo ROBINSON; and four brothers, Jessie FLURRY, William FLURRY, Leroy FLURRY and Wallace FLURRY.

Mrs. MOSBY was born July 20, 1909, in South Greasy, to Robert Richard BALL and Effie Lee (GRIFFIN) BALL. She died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, in Sallisaw. Survivors include three daughters, Florence Sue, Dorothy Francis, and Alma; three sons, Earl Denville, Sherrell Wilbur, Joseph Ray Sr.; 36 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, LaVeda and Omega; and one brother, Junior. Mrs. MOSBY was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wilbur MOSBY Sept. 3, 1951, in Sallisaw.

Mrs. OSBURN was born March 12, 1913, in Sequoyah county, to George Washington THOMAS and Martha Elizabeth (JAMES) THOMAS. She died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, in Sallisaw. She married John OSBURN SR., in August 1936 in Sequoyah County. He preceded her in death May 14, 1989. Survivors include two sons, John and Jimmy; two grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; one sister, Hester; one brother, Wilson; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mrs. OSBURN was also preceded in death by one son, George Henry OSBURN. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Juanita (RESCH) McDANIEL REEDING, 68, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, in Fort Smith. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial was in Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Fentress Mortuary. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy REDDING of the home one brother, Paul M. ; one niece; and several nephews.

Burial will be in Webber Cemetery, north of Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Gore. Mr. SUNAGOOWIE was born Aug. 5, 1952, in Tahlequah, to Jack and Ella Louise (TECUMSEH) SUNAGOOWIE. He died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, in Tulsa. Mrs. BROWN was born Sept. 17, 1921, in Gore, to Edward Franklin ROBINSON and Hester Louola (KENDRICK) ROBINSON. She died Friday, December 3, 1999, at her home. She married William Ervin BROWN April 10, 1950, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death in 1966. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Doyle, Norma and Butch, Linda and Dwayne; seven sons and daughter-in-laws, Billy and Doris and Eddie and Gurlean, Ricky and Wanda, Freddie and Barbie, James and Bink, Floyd and Rose Brown, and Jackie and Trina; 40 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Blue and Connie and Clifford.

Mrs. BURTON was born Sept. 9, 1912, in Anderson County, Texas, to Charlie and Lanie Belle (BAIRD) WARDELL. She died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at the Gore Nursing Home. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, A.M. and Rosemary; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. BURTON was preceded in death by her husband, Omar BURTON in 1959 as a result of a vehicle accident.

Survivors include his wife, Frankie DEAN of the home; his children, Ron, Lisa, and Lorrie; two brothers, William Clifton; and Walter Clifton; and five grandsons; Mr. DEAN was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Eugene Wilson DEAN; and one sister Monsaretta Marie OSBURN.

Larry Don HINES, 28, of Sallisaw died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, in Purcell. Graveside services will be held at Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Larry Don Marley officiating. Mr. HINES was born July 8, 1971, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Larry Wayne HINES and Goldie Faye WHISENHUNT. Survivors include his mother, Goldie; his father and stepmother Larry and Gaylene; one sister, Brittany; one brother, David; paternal grandparents, Don and Willene; step-grandmother, Mildred; three aunts, Angela, Nelda and Joyce; and two uncles, Ernest and Donald David. Stella Marie PENCE, 92, of Stigler, formerly of Charleston, Ark., died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, in Stigler. Burial was in Mount Hope North Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Mortuary Inc. in Charleston. Mrs. PENCE was born Feb. 11, 1906, in Rudy, Ark., to Joe and Laura (BAKER) DOTSON. She married Roy Wallace BARTHEL Jan. 16, 1938, in Roland. He preceded her in death June 22, 1977. Mrs. HINDMAN was born April 23, 1935, in Sequoyah County, to Ridge and Ada (MILTON) BENGE. She died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, in Shreveport, La. Survivors include companion, David; one daughter, Sheila; one son,Craig; two grandsons; two sisters, Lorene and Jo; and one brother, Bill. Survivors include three sons, James Junior, George and Gary Don; two daughters, Margaret and Wanda; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Marie, Hazel, Lela and Ruth LaFern; one brother, Edward; and one adopted brother, Donald. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Mae GIBBONS; and two grandchildren, Contrina GIBBONS and Rhonda CARTER.

Lena C. GOODWIN of Wiser died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at her home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Wister, with the Rev. Frankie Harris officiating. Burial was in Tamaha Cemetery, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau. Survivors include her husband, Raymond GOODWIN of the home; one daughter, Joan; three sons, Randell, Rick and Jack; three stepsons, Gordon, Garth and Ratha; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sally, Lee, and Pauline; one brother, Alex; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. GOODWIN was preceded in death one son, Charles CONLEY.

Graveside services for Eugene G. HOLT, 70, of Security, Colo., formerly of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sallisaw City Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Brown officiating. Mr. HOLT was born Sept. 29, 1929, in Ames, to John and Vina (ADAMS) HOLT. He died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He married his wife, Ruby June, Dec. 3, 1955, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife, Ruby June HOLT of the home, formerly of Sallisaw; one brother, Jack; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Rev. Tommy O. JAMES, 76, of the Gum springs community, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Gum Springs Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Alex Warren and Bro. John Barnes officiating. Burial was in Gum Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral home in Gore. The Rev. JAMES was born Aug. 17, 1923, in Gum Springs, to Tom E. JAMES and Sarah Gertrude (GOINS) JAMES. He married Callie Eunice RISLEY July 8, 1944, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Callie JAMES of the home; one son, Chester; two sisters, Ruby and Martha; three nieces; and four nephews.

Funeral services for Roy ROBERTSON, 85, of Marble City were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial was in Dwight Mission Cemetery, west of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. ROBERTSON was born Nov. 13, 1914, in Marble City, to Grover Cleveland ROBERTSON and Elizabeth (WALLACE) ROBERTSON. He died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Julia Adeline Belle YOUNG in 1939 in Sallisaw. She preceded him in death Sept. 8, 1983. Survivors include two daughters, Loretta and Doris; two sons, Donald "Sonny" and Frank; 11 grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lorene, Ruby and Louise; one brother, Levi; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mr. ROBERTSON was also preceded in death by one son, Jim ROBERTSON; four stepsons, William, John, Lloyd and Richard LEAF; and stepdaughter Goldie LITTLEJOHN.

Funeral services for Anna Mignon RUSSELL, 92, of Vian were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Vian, with the Rev. James Ogden officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. RUSSELL was born Jan. 25, 1907, in Heber Springs, Ark., to Collie Carl YANCEY and Mollie (DODDS) YANCEY. She died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999, in Sallisaw. She married Albert Nolan RUSSELL Nov. 17, 1924, in Beggs. He preceded her in death March 23, 1987. Survivors include one daughter, Molly Nell;two grandsons; four great-grandchildren.

Curtis Lee SMITH, 76, of Haywood died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999, in the McAlester Regional Health Center in McAlester. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Haywood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Clarence Brinkley officiating. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service in McAlester. Mr. SMITH was born May 17, 1923, in Gore, to Andrew and Lulu Mae (COOK) SMITH. He married Venita Mae McGEE June 3, 1955, in Waterford, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Venita SMITH of the home; one son, John; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Jeannie, and Jeraldine and Howard, Janet and Dick, Debbie and Larry, and Patty and Robert; 15 brothers and sisters; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. SMITH was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Terry Lee SMITH on Dec. 4, 1978; and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Vivian Louise SMITH, 71, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Lee's Creek Assembly of God Church in Nicut, with the Rev. Janie James officiating. Burial was in Seabolt Cemetery, northeast of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. SMITH was born Nov. 23, 1928, in Oklahoma City, to Joseph and Bessie (LAXTON) LAMBETH. She died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, in Sallisaw. She married Wren Robert SMITH Sr. Oct. 5, 1946, in Las Vegas. he preceded her in death Jan. 20,1988. Survivors include three daughters, Bobbie Jo, Pat and Debbie; two sons, Robert and Frankie Willard; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Jessie; and one brother, Leroy. Mrs. SMITH was also preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela L. ARRUDA; her parents; and one sister, Stella Eatmon.

Graveside services for Lorene THOMAS, 66, of Sallisaw were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Rocky Point Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, with the Revs. Lee Killer and LeRoy Reid officiating. Mrs. THOMAS was born July 14, 1933, in Webbers Falls, to George Harvey NEW and Euna Audrey (POLLARD) NEW. She died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married J. B. THOMAS June 29, 1950, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her husband, J. B. THOMAS of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Troy Leon and Beverly; two daughters and one son-in-law, Leanne and Billy and Kathy; four grandchildren; three brothers, Bud, Billy Ray and John; and three sisters, Evelyn, Linda K. and Charlotte. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Franklin T. WILKERSON, 75, of Vian died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 199, in Vian. He was born Jan. 21, 1924, in Pawhuska to Hattie (WILKERSON) FRANZ. He married his wife, Roberta, Dec. 20, 1956, in Reno, Nev. Survivors include his wife Roberta WILKERSON of the home; one daughter, Toni; two grandchildren; and several cousins, other relatives and friends. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
