Funeral services for Lillian Latimer BETTS, 92, of Roland were held at noon on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Steve Rutherford officiating. Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BETTS was born on Aug. 16, 1920, in Brent to Walter J. LATIMER and Cordelia Ann SCOTT. She died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a secretary for the Director of Intelligence for the Department of the Air Force. She married Donzel E. BETTS in June of 1955 in Washington, D.C. Survivors include several family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one sister, Ruby DENTON; one brother, Wilton W. “Bill” LATIMER; and a nephew.

Nanette Lea CROSSLIN was born on Aug. 24, 1966, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Ray Edmond HOUSE Sr., and Donna Lou (WALLS) HOUSE. She married Ronald Gene CROSSLIN on Jan. 7, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs. CROSSLIN was the CEO of Rheem Credit Union and of the Assembly of God faith. She passed this life on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in Tulsa at the age of 46. Survivors are her husband, Ron of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Zachary and Lauren CROSSLIN of Muldrow and Jacob Dylan CROSSLIN of the home; one grandchild, Benjamin CROSSLIN; one sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Charles COUGHRAN of Muldrow; and two brothers and one sister-in-law, Steve HOUSE and Ray HOUSE Jr. and Tabitha all of Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Muldrow Nazarene Church. Burial will be at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5 at Agent Chapel in Muldrow. The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Active pallbearers will be Brian Smith, Chuck Coughran, Tommy Coughran, Larry Laney, Gilbert Brown and Robert Crain.

Graveside services for Paul Raymond KINTZINGER, 85, of Vian are being held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Redbird Smith Ceremonial Grounds in Vian with David Teehee officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. KINTZINGER was born on Aug. 2, 1927, in Dubuque, Iowa to John Warren KINTZINGER and Katherine Olive ANDERSON. He died on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in Vian. He worked in the drafting department and was a research scientist for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Survivors include three daughters, Katrina THOMAS of Albuquerque, N.M., Cheryl MARTINEZ of Columbia, Mo., and Sarah CHANDERIA of Oslo, Norway; one son, Richard BAILEY of Vian; four grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Warren Henry, Charles Andrew and John Webster KINTZINGER. Pallbearers are members of Redbird Smith Ceremonial Grounds.

Funeral services for Ruth Adeline BREEDLOVE KNIGHT, 75, of Sallisaw are being held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at First United Methodist Church in Sallisaw with Dr. Trevor Smith officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. KNIGHT was born on Sept. 12, 1937, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Walton Willoughby BREEDLOVE and Lena Lou (CHEEK) BREEDLOVE. She died on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in Fort Smith. She had a Bachelor Degree in Education and taught Home Economics at Sallisaw and Panama Schools. Survivors include one daughter, Karen Kay HISER of Henderson, Ky.; and one son, James David KENTNER of San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, James W. BREEDLOVE, D.D.S.

P.L. ROBERTSON, 62, of Sallisaw passed away on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in Sallisaw. He was born on Jan. 27, 1950. Survivors include his housemates, Johnny Bishop, Jerry Morris, Daniel Grigsby and all of People Inc.; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise ROBERTSON. Funeral services are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church in Sallisaw the Rev. Jerry Copeland officiating. Burial is at Dwight Mission Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Active pallbearers are Tony Demaree, Mike Watkins, Brian Bedwell, Chris Gilliam, Dale Ollis and Jim Harris.  Honorary pallbearer is Jim Walters.

Funeral services for Malinda SCOTT, 88, of Spiro will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Fort Coffee Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mrs. SCOTT was born on Oct. 18, 2012, in Bristow to Turner SMITH and Gracie (SHOATE) SMITH. She died on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in Poteau. She was the senior citizen coordinator and a bus driver for Kibois. She was a member of Triumph Baptist Church of Fort Coffee where she served on the Mission, Gospel group “The Humming Birds.” She enjoyed sewing, quilting and fishing. Survivors include three daughters, Donna Faye SIMPSON and husband, Jeff of Spiro and Gwendlyn SCOTT and Mildred SANDERS and husband, Tony, all of Fort Coffee; two sons, Glenn SCOTT and wife Linda and Stanley SCOTT and wife, Vicky, all of Fort Coffee; one sister, Ester CLAYTON of Fort Coffee; one brother, Cornelius SMITH and wife, Virginia of Savanna, Ga.; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ben SCOTT Jr.; one son, Fred SCOTT; two infant twin daughters; one infant son; two sisters; and two brothers.

Graveside services for Foster Eugene “Gene” TALLEY, 70, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Warner Memorial cemetery with Chaplain Jack Taylor officiating under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. TALLEY was born on May 19, 1942, in Muskogee to Henry and Carmen TALLEY. He died on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012. He worked as a newspaper deliveryman, butcher and mechanic through his early years; he then began building and repairing computers, the career he retired from. He married Lanette STONE of Webbers Falls in 1961. Survivors include his wife, Lanette TALLEY one son, Mike and wife, Sara; one daughter, Pam and husband, Don; five grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Ray and Robert TALLEY; and three sisters, Maudie POTTS, Wanda MORRIS and Mable McBEE. Funeral services for Lavada “Little Granmma” TRAMELL, 95, of Hobbs, N.M., were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matt Ray officiating. Burial was at Prairie Haven Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home of Hobbs. Mrs. TRAMELL was born on Sept. 1, 1917, in Sallisaw to Samuel and Martha JOHNSON. She died on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in Hobbs. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Russell TRAMELL, Orville and Bonnie TRAMELL, Ramona MAYPOLE, David and Sue TRAMELL, Lucille CARTER, Ruth and Jim Van WINKLE, and Ralph and Nancy TRAMELL; 27 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 40 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Loy TRAMELL; her parents; one daughter, Martha CARTER; one son, Ronald TRAMELL; two infant children; 12 brothers and sisters, Marzy A. Funeral services for Leonard Clarence WANN, 90, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Al Ruckman officiating. Burial was at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. WANN was born on Aug. 5, 1922, in Muldrow to William Henry WANN and Emma (CORBIT) WANN. He died on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in Talihina. He was a general laborer. Survivors include his wife, Margie Lee (FERGUSON) WANN of the home; two sons, Randy and Theresa WANN of Muldrow and Leonard Clarence WANN Jr. of Poteau; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Donna Sue COUGHRAN. Pallbearers were Samuel Moon, Joe Daley, Mark Daley, Bill Robison, Steven Walsh and Rodney Watts.

Graveside services for Emily WHITMIRE, 81, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian with Mr. Jim Murphy officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WHITMIRE was born on Aug. 14, 1931, in Evening Shade to Isaih KENNEDY and Annie Matilda (ASHER) KENNEDY. She died on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in Tahlequah. She was a merchant, Whitmire’s Western Store and a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Laman of Sallisaw; one daughter, Lorna of Sallisaw; three sisters, Rosa Lee, Lois and Arlene; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and seven brothers and sisters.

Ronald R. CZARNECKI, 74, of Gore died on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, in Gore. He was born on March 5, 1938, in St. Louis, Mo., to Raymond CZARNECKI and Mildren (SCHMIDT) CZARNECKI. No formal service if planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was a welder. He married Barbara O’BRIEN on March 21, 1957, in St. Louis. Survivors include his wife, Barbara CZARNECKI of the home; two daughters, Christine JOHNSON and Laura COCKRELL, both of Gore; two sons, Timothy CZNARNECKI of St. Peters, Mo., and Jeff CZNARNECKI of Gore; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Ronald CZNARNECKI .

Funeral services for Alfred L. HOLEMAN, 80, of Gore will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Round Mountain Church in Gore with the Rev. Tommy Ballard officiating. Burial will be at Round Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. HOLEMAN was born on April 21, 1932, in Cookson to Will HOLEMAN and Ruth (CONLEY) HOLEMAN. He died on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, in Oklahoma. He was a certified mechanic. He married Jackie STONEBARGER on June 1, 1953, in Wagoner. She preceded him in death on Oct. 23, 2003. Survivors include three daughters, Katy LAWRENCE of Coffeyville, Kan., and Nancy JOHNSON and Janet HOLEMAN, both of Gore; five sons, Alfred HOLEMAN of Sallisaw, Johnny HOLEMAN of Gore, Will HOLEMAN of Tahlequah, Leo HOLEMAN of Warrenton, Mo., and David HOLEMAN of Fort Gibson; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters; one daughter; and one grandson.

Funeral services for Jimmy Don NOLAN, 65, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Cottonwood Freewill Baptist Church with Masonic graveside services at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. NOLAN died on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in Fort Smith. He was a retired supervisor for Riverside, a member of Cottonwood Freewill Baptist Church and Bruton Masonic Lodge 30 in Muldrow. Survivors include the mother of his children, Janice NOLAN of Muldrow; one daughter, Amy NALL and husband, Gene of Roland; three sons, Scotty Don NOLAN and wife, Jammie and Chad NOLAN and wife, Michelle, all of Muldrow and Ryan NOLAN and wife, DaWaina of Roland; two brothers, Stanford NOLAN of Muldrow and Randy NOLAN of Roland; three sisters, Charlene PRICE and Lisha GIBBS, both of Roland and Brenda PARRISH of Alma, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlen and Lillian NOLAN; and two brothers, Tommy Joseph NOLAN and Jerry NOLAN. Memorial services for Charles Author “Slim” TILLEY, 68, of Fort Smith, Ark., will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the Quinn C hapel AME Church in Fort Smith. Burial will be at Brooksville Historical Cemetery in Brooksville, Fla., under the direction of Brewer’s Funeral Home of Brooksville. He was a mechanic. Survivors include four children, Cynthia CONES and Charles DOUGLAS of Sallisaw, and Carnell and Curece BROWN of Kansas City, Mo.; six sisters, Leola ECKLES, Errie JONES, Gearline MARTIN, LaGloria McKINNEY, Sharon SMITH and Dannie BROWN, all of Fort Smith; three brothers, Floyd SMITH of Webbers Falls and ORIE and Roosevelt SMITH, both of Fort Smith; and 15 grandchildren.

Mr. BAILEY was born on Jan. 20, 1964, in Fort Sill to Carl BAILEY and Patricia Willene BALLARD. He died on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, in Tulsa. He was a nurse’s assistant at Pleasant Valley Healthcare. He married Julie Carol SIDES on July 5, 1996, in Vian. Survivors include his wife, Julie BAILEY of the home; his mother, of Gore; one sister, Sally WILSON of Gore; two brothers, Raymond BAILEY of Warner and Chris BAILEY of Tahlequah; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and a grandmother. Pallbearers will be Raymond Bailey, Chris Bailey, Charley Parks, Marty McMahan, Aaron Kimberlin and Joshua Bliss.

Betty Jo DOCKERY HOLMAN, 85, of Sallisaw passed this life on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, in Sallisaw. She was born on Aug. 7, 1927, in Sallisaw, the daughter of Dolly “Ella” PALMER and James DOCKERY. She married Hubert HOLMAN on April 8, 1948. She was the co-founder and owner of Wild Horse Mountain Barbecue and a long-time devoted member and prayer warrior of the Sallisaw Church of the Nazarene. She was a homemaker and also served as a Cub Scout leader while living in California. Survivors are three sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Sandy HOLMAN, Eddy HOLMAN and Bill and Georgetta HOLMAN; one daughter and son-in-law, Cathi and Ted FINE; one brother, Robbie RANEY, all of Sallisaw; 13 grandchildren, Jeff HOLMAN, Kelly LITTLE, Jerrad HOLMAN, Chris HOLMAN, Wes HOLMAN, Jeremy HOLMAN, Josh HOLMAN, Sarah HOLMAN, Tyler FINE, Anna FINE, Jackie OLLIE, Tyler LOVELL and Clinton LOVELL; 15 great-grandchildren, Aubrey LITTLE, Delaney LITTLE, Finley LITTLE, Crislyn HOLMAN, Trinity HOLMAN, Riley “Boone” HOLMAN, Matthew HOLMAN, Morgan HOLMAN, Garrett HOLMAN, Ethan HOLMAN, Jace HOLMAN, Jax HOLMAN, Kenadee LOVELL, Olivia LOVELL and Kasen OLLIE; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services for Ollie NORWOOD, 94, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Muldrow with the Rev. Burnham officiating. Burial was at Shady Grove Cemetery in Roland under the direction of Agent and Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. NORWOOD was born on Aug. 10, 1918, in Morrilton, Ark., to Nina HOWARD SYKES. She died on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, in Roland. She was a homemaker. She married James “Gene” NORWOOD in 1932 in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one son, Nathaniel NORWOOD of Fort Smith; one sister, L.T. JONES of Morrilton; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Eugene NORWOOD; and her brothers and sisters.

Graveside services with military honors for Donnie Frank YANDELL, 68, of Moffett were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr. YANDELL was born on April 19, 1944, in Leesville, La., to Frank and Dorothy YANDELL. He died on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, in Fort Smith. He was a commercial fisherman, an army veteran, a musician and singer and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Sherry of the home; stepdaughter, Tammy BEVILLE of Roland; two stepsons, Rick ANDERSON of Roland and Mike HILL of Fort Smith; two brothers, J.D. YANDELL of Harrison, Ark., and Tim YANDELL of Fort Smith; one sister, Bobby URSO of Bullhead City, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Roy Bailey, Jackie Brooks, Rick Anderson, Dennis Meeks, David Lindsey Jr., and Dustin Welch.

Burial will be at Fort Coffee Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. CAMPBELL was born on June 26, 1956, in Fort Coffee to Vallard CAMPBELL and Beatrice CAMPBELL. He died on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, in Spiro. He attended Spiro High School and graduates with the class of 1975. He attended Mt. Triumph Baptist Church from an early age. He worked in construction. Survivors include one brother, Elbert and Deborah CAMPBELL of Atlanta, Ga.; five sisters, Alice ASHLEY of Ontario, Calif., Vernell and George ALLEN of Las Vegas, Nev., Murtis MONTGOMERY of DeSoto, Texas, Barbara CAMPBELL GRAYSON of Cedar Hill, Texas and Veronica CAMPBELL of Lawton; special companion and friend, Rose DIXON of Pocola; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Douglas, Harvey, Harold, Joe Louis, James, Vallard Jr., and John; sisters, Rebecca, Truby, Ruby and Annie Mae.

Graveside services for Calvin Eugene GREGORY, 65, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Roland City Cemetery with Edward Reese officiating under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. GREGORY was born on May 22, 1947, in Durant to Marvin Wilson GREGORY and Esta Parylee FOLLOWELL. He died on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, in Muldrow. He married Ethel Elaine DYE on Nov. 30, 1967, in Van Buren, Ark. She preceded him in death in February of 2004. Survivors include four daughters, Jennifer Elaine JACKSON, Peggy Lyn ANDERSON and Amanda Ann ANDERSON, all of Muldrow and Correnia Gale MEEKS of Sallisaw; two sons, Calvin GREGORY Jr. of Vian and Joe Wilson GREGORY of Muldrow; four sisters, Parylee HOPEGREEN of Straphmore, Calif., Shirley JACKSON and Karen HEAD, both of Blue, and Gertrude ERSKIN of Stratford, Calif.; three brothers, M.W. GREGORY and Anthony GREGORY, both of Atoka and Warren GREGORY of Muldrow; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Raymond and M.B. GREGORY.

Memorial services for Christopher LACEY, 27, of Roland will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Charles Ames officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. LACEY was born on Dec. 8, 1985, in West Covina, Calif., to Curtis Dean LACEY and Carmen (TABOR) LACEY. He died on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in Roland. He was a sales clerk at a video rental store. Survivors include his father, of Fort Smith, Ark.; and a grandfather. He was preceded in death by his mother; and his paternal grandmother.

Graveside services, with military honors, for Fred DALEY, 92, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., with cremation under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr. DALEY was born on Jan. 5, 1920, in Park Hill. He died on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012. He was an Army veteran of World War II, receiving two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. He was a diesel mechanic and retired from Crain Industries. He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra PHELAN and companion, Kenneth FRY of Van Buren, Ark.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Bertha DALEY; and two sisters, Maxine and Jessie.

Funeral service for Forrest Allen DYER, 91, of Webbers Falls were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Webbers Falls with the Revs. Tony Shaw and Rick LaBounty officiating. Mr. DYER was born on Nov. 1, 1921, in Webbers Falls to Robert Allen and Mary Aleen (WEAVER) DYER. He died on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 in Muskogee. He enlisted in the Army on Sept. 30, 1942 and served until Feb. 7, 1946. He was a farmer and rancher and member of the First Baptist Church. He was a life member of the VFW Post 4609 Gore-Webbers Falls, and Earnest Anthis Post 7 in Muskogee. He married Berdise MAXWELL on May 7, 1948, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Berdise DYER of the home; son, Gary and wife, Sharon of Enid; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; sister, Opal JOHNSON of Muskogee; brother-in-law, Bob MAXWELL and wife, Betty of Webbers Falls; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert DYER; sister, Beatrice McKINNON; and a nephew. William Rodney PENN of Sallisaw was born on Feb. 20, 1970, in Greeley, Colo., to William E. and Suzanne (ELWICK) PENN, and passed away on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark., at the age of 42. Connie Sue TUDOR of Gans was born on Feb. 23, 1950, in Van Buren, Ark., to J.W. and Charlotte (ATTERBERRY) HILL, and passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, in Gans at the age of 62. She was married to Paul David TUDOR. He preceded her in death in 1994. Burial was at Spiro City Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mrs. HARLAN was born on Oct. 10, 1920, in Stillwater to Stanley John and Edna Mae (DITTO) CLINGENPEEL. She died on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a member of First United Methodist Church for 63 years. She assisted at Harlan Insurance/Realty for many years, taught school at the Oklahoma School for the Blind in Muskogee, Poteau and Spiro. She was a postmistress in Spiro. She enjoyed reading, board and card games and played in bridge clubs for many years. She visited at the Spiro Nursing Home as often as she could. She married Parks Eugene HARLAN on June 8, 1941, in Muskogee. He preceded her in death in 1984. Survivors include one daughter, Peggy TALLEY of Poteau; one son, Kenny HARLAN of Spiro; three sisters, Delmoine SHEPHERD of Enis, Necia ELLIOTT of Tulsa, and Micki WEEKS of Grove; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers were Mark Cox, Galen Sullins, Ronald Shepard, John Redwine, Don Atkinson and Dennis Peterson. Mr. ELLIS was born on Dec. 15, 1942, in Sallisaw to Wesley William ELLIS Jr., and Cleo (FITZSIMMONS) ELLIS. He died on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, in Tulsa. He was a carpenter. Burial was at Cowlington City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. HULL was born on March 19, 1932, in Cowlington to Jim Franklin and Laura (RAINS) HULL. He died on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. He taught school in Alaska for five years, Barstow, Calif., for two years and Oxnard School District for 21 years before retiring. He was an Army veteran and received a Good Conduct Medal. He attended Camarillo Church of Christ and was a member of Tucker Church of Christ and was currently a member of the West Ark Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Lila of the home; two brothers, Wayne Franklin HULL of Bakersfield, Calif., and Bradley Harmon HULL of Longview, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Margaret GAMBLE of Tucker and Irene HULL of Spiro; one brother-in-law, Clay COLLINS; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Maybelle and Dorothy Mae; and seven brothers, Clifford, Leota, Curtin, Arvel, T.G., Willard and Bob. Thomas Gilbert ROGERS was born in Oklahoma City on Nov. 14, 1930. His parents were Raymond Cassius ROGERS and Elizabeth Mae (ANDERSON) ROGERS. The family moved to Washington County, Arkansas on Dec. 7, 1941. As a teenager, Tom worked with his father in his business in Arkansas. He went to Tulsa to apprentice in plumbing after graduation from high school in Cane Hill, Ark. Tom married his childhood sweetheart, Verna Inez PITTS on Sept. 3, 1950. They moved to Tulsa in 1951. After licensure as a Master Plumber, Tom established Rogers’s Plumbing and Heating in 1958. He was certified in air conditioning also, and in 1960 added A/C to the business, which he operated until 1996, when he retired and moved to Sallisaw. Tom is survived by his wife of 62 years, Verna; and their three daughters, Deborah Leah and her husband, Dennis SPROUSE, Valerie Layne and her husband, the Rev. Philip EBERHART and Thesa Elizabeth Loving and her husband, Joel UTLEY. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren, Abby and Daniel SPROUSE, Alyssia and Kiersten EBERHART, Joel UTLEY, Josh UTLEY and his wife, Leslie and Jenny UTLEY. Services for Mr. ROGERS were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at the First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw. Interment followed at the Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Ark.
