Funeral services for Tom "Willie" CRANDALL, 61, of Muldrow, were held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Rev. Jim Parsley officiating. Burial was in Fleetwood Cemetery, east of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. CRANDALL was born April 21, 1946, in Lansing, Mich., to Elwin CRANDALL, Sr. and Lila Belle (COSPER) CRANDALL. He died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, in Cincinatti, Ohio. He married Judy Ann WATERS, Nov. 5, 1966, in Williamston, Mich. Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home; two daughters, Jillanne and Gennifer; two sons, Joshua and Jeremiah; four sisters, Norma Jean, Nancy, Mary and Julie; five brothers, Frank, Elwin, Mike, Kris and Pat; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Bill M. MANNON, 76, of Gore, are being held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Gore with Revs. Dwain Hardbarger and Cletis Jones officiating. Burial is in Stevenson Cemetery, north of Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. Mannon was born Nov. 4, 1931, in Braggs, to Pleasant Alfred MANNON and Ollie (GOODMAN) MANNON. He died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, in Muskogee. He married Lola TERRILL, Oct. 3, 1950, in Muskogee. Survivors include his wife, Lola of the home; one daughter, Anita; one grandson; one great-grandson; one brother, Geroge; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Mary DAILY, Emma CRUM, Oma SUMMERLIN, Odie CRUM and June SPEARS and six brothers, Joe, Fred, Virgil, Ernie, Roy and Levi MANNON.

Burial is in Blackjack Cemetery, in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. MILLER was born June 8, 1929, in Muldrow, to Henry GIPSON and Neta (OGDON) GIPSON. She died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Clyde; two nieces; one nephew; and several cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Anna Dean and Joan, and two husbands, Dale SOUTHERN and Bruce MILLER.

Cremation is under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. MITCHELL was born Aug. 2, 1943, in Chicago to William MITCHELL and Anna (DUNN) MITCHELL. He died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Ladonna MITCHELL; daughters, Leiloni, Denise, Jerri, Antonette and Tonya; sons, Theron, Eric, William Jerry, Jr., and Jerry; brothers, William and Albert.
Funeral services for James E. SEAY, 69, of Vian, are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Vian Baptist Church with Revs. Jim Murphy and T.D. Drew officiating. Burial is in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SEAY was born April 21, 1938, in Vian, to Francis SEAY and Rhonda (SUTTERFIELD) SEAY. He died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, in Vian. He married Oma Fae BRUCE, Feb. 6, 1959, in Inola. Survivors include his wife, Oma Fae of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Johnathon; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Rhonda; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Tommy, Jim and Gary; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Steve SEAY.

Funeral services for Marie CLOPTON, 82, of Mansfield, Ark., were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Huntington Assembly of God Church. Burial was in Coop Prairie Cemetery, in Mansfield, under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Ark. Mrs. CLOPTON died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, in Greenwood. Survivors include six sons, Buddy, Ronnie, Randy, Chris, Kevin and Tracy; two step-sons, Gail and Freddy; four daughters, Pat, Carolyn and Shirley and Beverly; one sister, Mildred; 36 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by by her husbands, William BLACK and Alvie CLOPTON, one daughter, Kaye Lynne MICHAEL and one step-daughter, Pam CLOPTON.

He died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, in Spiro. Survivors include one daughter, Patti and her husband, Bill; two sisters, Alice and Freddie; one brother, Wayne and his wife, Mildred; four grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Burial was in Akins Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. FINE was born June 7, 1928, in Sloan's Chapel, to William and Flora (CHEEK) FINE. He died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, in Akins. He married Barbara Sue LATTIMORE, May 5, 1951, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Barbara Sue of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Cathi FINE; two grandchildren; three sisters, Gladys, Mabel and Mary Hope; two brothers, Charles, and Billie; special "brother", Wayne; one aunt, Eva; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Joel, Noel, and Dale FINE, three sisters, Madge CHUCULATE, India FINE, and Joyce PRICE.
John H. HARKREADER Sr., 82, of Grove, died at 4:35 p.m. on Feb. 3, 2008, at Integris Grove General Hospital. No formal service is planned and cremation is under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove. He was born on Oct. 13, 1925, in Okmulgee to James Robert and Mary Magdelene (EDWARDS) HARKREADER. Mr. HARKREADER married Marian Frances THOMAS on Aug. 2, 1946, in Independence, Kan. Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, John Jr., Phillip and Robert; one daughter, Jackie; two brothers; one sister; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Burial was in Seabolt Cemetery, north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. HOWELL was born on Aug. 26, 1929, in the Short community, to Tommy Christopher "T.C." HOWELL and Ella Mattie (HOLIMAN) HOWELL. He died on Feb. 1, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Betty Marie KELLEY on March 18, 1950, in St. John, Kan. She preceded him in death on Jan. 21, 1993, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his long-time companion, Arlena; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Lesley and Jalynn and Danny; one granddaughter; one grandson; four sisters, Genevive, Paralee, Willa Mae, and Minnie; one brother, Kenneth; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

She died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Thomas OLIVER, Jan. 4, 1964, in Stilwell. Survivors include her husband, Thomas of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Kris; one granddaughter; two step-grandsons; one sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Wayne; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Linda, and Jim and Sandy; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Mrs. TIMMERMAN was born on March 3, 1923, in the Bluff community, to Bill TAYLOR and Waley (TURNER) TAYLOR. She died on Feb. 3, 2008, in Sallisaw. She married Kenneth Dale TIMMERMAN on Aug. 10, 1940, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1977, in Sallisaw. Survivors include four daughters, Martha, Linda and Skip, Wanda and her husband, Alfred, and Kathy and her husband, Tommy; one son, Jimmie Dale and his wife, Belinda; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Alpha; one sister-in-law, Madie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Frank James AKAM, 69, of Sallisaw, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. No formal service is planned and arrangements were under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. AKAM was born Dec. 10, 1938, to Frank and Betty (HOLMES) AKAM. Survivors include his wife, Wilberta (CALHOUN) AKAM of the home; daughter, Mitzi; step-daughter, Rhodal; son, Rick; step-sons, Glenn and Steve ; sisters, Terri, Margaret "Mippi", Mary "LuLu", Diane "Susie", and Carol; brothers, Donald and David; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Thelma SUTTON WALLACE, 83, of Roland, are being held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Revs. Curtis Mitchell and Carl Williams officiating. Burial is Long Cemetery, in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. WALLACE was born March 26, 1924, in Long, to Nathaniel Jack SUTTON and Dana (COPELAND) SUTTON. She died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Freda, Barbara and her husband, Ray, Dana, and Audrey and her husband, Hawk; one son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Carisa; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen WALLACE and two daughters, Claira GOODMAN and Mable BURKHALTER and her parents.
Funeral services for Bobby Clay WATERS, 67, of Roland, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Short Baptist Church with Revs. Chris Small and Jimmy Hunt officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. WATERS was born Nov. 5, 1940, in Short, to George WATERS and Emma (BARNES) WATERS. He died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, in Roland. Survivors include two daughters, Quoya and Mecha; his parents; one brother, Bill; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
