Funeral services for Della BARNES, 95, of Hackett, Ark., were held at 10 a.m., Friday, at the First Baptist Church in Hackett, with burial in Mount Olive Cemetery in Midland, Ark., under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Ark. Survivors include three daughters, Lavern, Lenora and Betty; one son, Vernon D.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
Graveside services for Robert William "Bill" CARLTON, 79, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, at Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark. He died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, in an area hospital. Survivors include his wife, Judy Kay CARLTON of the home; one daughter, Billie; one son, Bobby; two adopted daughters, Kimberly Jo and Tabatha; and one step-daughter, Kimberlee Kay; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She died on Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, in Winona, Miss. Survivors include her husband Kenneth Carl CRAWFORD of the home; four daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Ruth and her husband Walter, Tammy and her husband George, and Tori and her husband Harlis, and Angela and her husband Ken of Turkey; six sons, Charles W.., Eddie Dean, Kenneth Carl Jr., Wyatt Shane , Eric Quiton and Dusty Lee; 30 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Wilma; and two brothers, Jack and Donald. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters.
Lillian DOBBINS, 73, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Monday in Fort Smith. There will be no formal services in Fort Smith. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Urbana, Ohio at a later date. Local arrangements were under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith. Mrs. DOBBINS is survived by two sons, Jimmy and Eddie Joe; two grandchildren; five sisters, Mary Francis, Mable, Billie J., Lois and Ruth Ann; two brothers, Jack and Floyd; and one step-grandson, Jason. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry DOBBINS.

She married Dale FLOYD on Sept. 6, 1953, in Tahlequah. Survivors include her husband of 50 years Dale FLOYD; two sons, Michael Dale, Mark and Nadine, two grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Annabelle; two brothers, John and Jim; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother.

He died on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, in Vian. He married Patricia Ann "Pat" SUTTERFIELD on Nov. 9, 1970, in Stigler. Survivors include his wife, Patricia FRITTS of the home; six daughters, Mary Ann, Debra, Suzanne, Tina, Terry and Sherry; two sons, James Barry and Bill; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances and Ola Nell; one brother, Louie; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Junior JONES and two grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Janie; three sons, Danny, Gary, and Tommy; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty, and Eddie.

She died on Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Charles Curtis McEVER on July 14, 1951, in Sapulpa. Survivors include her husband, Charles of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Mike and Kelly; one daughter and son-in-law, Robinr and Dr. Craig; five granddaughters; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary Frances and Willard Nolan, Carolyn, Jackie, Barbara and Jerry; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul Dean and Kathy, Dalton and LaJoyce; one sister-in-law, Hattie Lou; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Charles Stephen and one brother, Robert VANN.

Jerry Townley, the Rev. Jim Moore and the Rev. Jim Armstrong officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Born March 21, 1919, in Hartman, Ark., to Jeff L. MIDDLETON and Lela PRITCHARD, he died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, in Keota. He married Margie May PATRICK on Aug. 23, 1939, in Sallisaw. She preceded him in death on Oct. 3, 1989 in Sallisaw. He then married Dorotha Mae GOFF on Feb. 9, 1993 in Panama. Survivors include his wife, Dorotha Mae MIDDLETON of the home; three daughters, Linda, Jane and Diana; one son, Danny; two step-sons, Donald Ray and Lee Edward; 16 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Geneva, Lavern and Doris; and two brothers, Dub and G.B. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margie May PATRICK MIDDLETON on Oct. 3, 1989; and two sons, Tommy Lynn MIDDLETON on June 24, 1981, and Lawrence MIDDLETON on Jan. 11, 2001.

Burial is in Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mrs. Miller died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, in Fort Smith. Survivors include five daughters and three sons-in-law, Virginia, Jeanette and Pete, Jessie, Dr. Jean, Judy and Larry; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Harry and Sue, and Richard; 27 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, one son, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Burial was in Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Graveside honors were provided by the Oklahoma State Troopers Honor Guard. Born on Jan. 27, 1931, in Sallisaw to Alexander ROGERS and Ova Lena ROGERS, he died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, David and Wayne and DeAnna; three granddaughters; three grandsons; five sisters, Ova, Margie, Katherine, Faye and Bernice; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Albert Wayne SERATT, 50, of Sallisaw, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Sallisaw.He was born on Aug. 30, 1953, in South San Gabriel, Calif., to Albert SERATT and Orvaline Conwell GRAHAM. He married Andrea PALMER SERATT on May 25, 1974, in Chester, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Andrea, of the home; his mother, Orvaline; his father and step-mother, Albert and Arlene SERATT; two sisters, Susan and Shirley; two brothers, Steven and Tim; several other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Phillip George TAYLOR, 50, of Alma, Ark., will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in New Cemetery, in Mulberry, Ark., under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Survivors include his wife, Robin Taylor, of the home; four sons, Phillip Allen, Willilam A., Donald G. and Jason R.; and three grandchildren.
