Funeral services for Phyllis EFURD BARNES, 62, of Roland, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow with Revs. Anthony Williams and Allen Tedford officiating. Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. BARNES was born April 5, 1944, in Fort Smith, Ark., to R.J. EFURD and Elsie EFURD. She died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, in Roland. She married Leon William BARNES, in 1970, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her husband, Leon of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Eddie, and Deborah and Bill; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn and Tonya; one brother, Jimmy; and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents R.J. and Elsie EFURD.

Funeral services for Helen WARREN CHILDERS, 72, of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Eastside Baptist Church in Sallisaw with Rev. Steve Rutherford officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CHILDERS was born Jan. 26, 1934, in Gore, to Peter Josh WARREN and Ola Frances (MUNCY) WARREN. She died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Virgil Lee CHILDERS, June 3, 1952, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death, Aug. 23, 1989, in Fort Smith. Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn and Judy; four sisters, Berlie, Cora Lee, Doris and Mary; two brothers, Hoover and Lewis; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by six sisters, Laura Katherine PRINCE, Edna Mae JOHNSON, Margaret PLUNKETT, Vera MILLS, Thelma BENNETT and Mandy JORDAN and two brothers, J.T. WARREN and Wallace WARREN.

Funeral services for Thomas Charles "Bud" HOLT, 97, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial is in Houston Cemetery in Alix, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. HOLT was born Jan. 7, 1909, in Alix, to Isaac Daniel HOLT and Sarah Amanda Jane MORGAN. He died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in Van Buren, Ark. He married Hazel Nellie Grace BROWNING, Aug. 5, 1931, in Johnson County, Ark. She preceded him in death on May 4, 1987. He later married Genevieve McGREW in 1988. She also preceded him in death, Jan. 3, 2006. Survivors include three sons, Bobby, Glen and Billy Ray; five step-children, James, Jeannie, Libbi, Alice and Mac; one sister, Nadine; ten-grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, William R. "Healy" HOLT and Jack HOLT; five sisters, Ethel GRAY, Minnie PETTIT, Mary SEXTON, Mamie CARROLL and Georgia CRABTREE and one daughter-in-law, Gail HOLT.

Memorial services for Barney PARSONS, 64, of Lake Stevens, Wash., formerly of Gans, will be held at a later date, under the direction of First Cremation Service of Kent, Wash. Mr. PARSONS was born Aug. 7, 1942, in Gans. He died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006. Survivors include his partner in life, Teresa; one son, Travis; one daughter, Tara; brother, Ken; sister, Donna; three grandchildren; and a large extended family in Washington, Oklahoma and California. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clyde and Mae, brother, Buddie and oldest son, Nick.

Funeral services for Colene J. PAYTON, 97, of Roland, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roland with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial was in Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. PAYTON was born Oct. 8, 1909, in Fort Smith, Ark., to William Franklin MYERS and Matilda (BARLING) MYERS. She died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Waldo PAYTON, March 28, 1958, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her husband, Waldo of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and R.L. "Tex"; one son, Gary Don; two daughters-in-law, Ila Mae and Loy Fern; one sister, Sophie; one brother, Russell; 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Gurley Adell OWENS, Sr., one daughter, Clara Belle OWENS, two sons, Gurley Adell OWENS, Jr. and Robert Franklin OWENS and two brothers, William Robert and Barling Jerry MYERS.

Memorial services for Gary A. SHORT, 56, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Ark., under the direction of McConnell Funeral Homes of Greenwood. Mr. SHORT died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, in Fort Smith. Survivors include two sons, Gregory Allen and Gary Lewis; one brother, Bob; and two grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin L. and Susie SHORT, two brothers, Tommy and Paul SHORT and a sister, Patsy COLLINS.

Funeral services for Richard Nelson SMITH, 84, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Revs. Leroy Reid and Anthony Williams officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SMITH was born Jan. 1, 1922, in Porum, to John Calvin SMITH and Kathryn Blackstone (THOMPSON) SMITH. He died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Viola Noma WILSON, April 9, 1973, in Las Vegas, Nev. Survivors include his wife, Vi SMITH of the home; two daughters, Paulette and Elvi; two sons, Steve and Hugh; 19 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Butch SMITH, two grandchildren, six sisters, Brownie SMITH, Tema WATTS, Grace LANE, Maxine HARWOOD, Imogene THOMPSON and Alyce SEAGO and four brothers, Bill, Raymond, Vernor and J.C. SMITH.

Funeral services for Kinsie Grace WHALEN, an infant, of Sallisaw, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Rev. Steve Rutherford officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born Dec. 28, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Christopher Michael WHALEN and Amanda Lea (DRUMMOND) WHALEN. She died Monday, Dec. 29, 2006, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her parents, Chris and Amanda WHALEN; and one sister, Katie; maternal grandparents, Paul and Janet LESSLEY; paternal grandparents, Michael and Pamela WHALEN; maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Betty LEWIS, Lawton and Margaret LESSLEY, Jackie and Junior DRUMMOND; paternal great-grandparents, Keith and Joyce SIMMS and Albert HAVILAND; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bruce DRUMMOND.

Funeral services for Raymond Edward CHANEY, 75, of Sallisaw, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11 at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Burial will be in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. CHANEY was born Aug. 5, 1931, in Fulton, Kan., to Frank Albert CHANEY and Mamie CHANEY. He died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, in Sallisaw. He married Jane Ruth, Feb. 3, 1987, in Tahlequah. She preceded him in death, Nov. 27, 2003, in Sallisaw. Survivors include four daughters, Randene, Theresa, Lisa and Bonita; nine sons, Raymond, Jr., James, David , Charles, Robert, Frank, Kevin, Steve and Mark; 31 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by parents.

Funeral services for M. Jo COX, 69, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with Rev. Jason Helmbacher officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home of Bartlesville. Mrs. COX was born July 13, 1937, in Cromwell to J.C. and Cora (COFFMAN) WHITTEN. She died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, in Sallisaw. She married Robert C. COX, Sept. 3, 1978, in Spiro. Survivors include her husband, Robert of the home; two sons, Randy and his wife, Jeanne and Alex and his wife, Missy; two daughters, Donnie Jo and her husband, Phillip, and Angie and her husband, Terry; two step-sons, Robert C., Jr. and Dr. Gary and his wife, Angela; one step-daughter, Cathy and her husband, Scott; two brothers, Jimmie and Melvin and his wife, Elsie; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Leroy "Moon" FOGG, 54, of Bunch, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw with Bros. Clifton Pettit, John Flute and Billy George Pettit officiating. Burial was in Flute Springs Cemetery, north of Marble City, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. FOGG was born June 10, 1952, in Tahlequah, to Richard FOGG and Sarah FLUTE. He died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son, Michael; one sister, Joanne and husband Rynold; one brother, Rickey Joe; mother, Sarah Joe FOGG; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, and one sister, Vanessa "Tessa" FOGG.

Funeral services for Mildred L. HARRELL, 89, of Sallisaw, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Rev. Vernon Smith officiating. Burial will be in Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HARRELL was born Dec. 28, 1917, in the Central community, to Mark HONEA and Janie COLE. She died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007. She married T.H. HARRELL, May 9, 1936, in Sequoyah County. He preceded her in death, Jan. 19, 1997, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one son, Cleon ; one daughter, Dorothene; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Vinnie YANCY FULLBRIGHT and a brother as a child Carnell HONEA.

Funeral services for Levenia JENKINS, 89, of Frisco, Texas, formerly of Webbers Falls, were held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church in Skiatook, under the direction of Moore's Southlawn Chapel of Tulsa. Ms. JENKINS was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Webbers Falls, to Buck and Verlon WILLIAMS in Webbers Falls. She died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in Frisco. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Paul; two grandson; and great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services for Bernice "Lude" JOHNSON, 74, of Muldrow, are being held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Shady Grove Baptist Church with R.E. Huff officiating. Burial is in Centerpoint Cemetery, in Redland under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. JOHNSON was born Sept. 12, 1932, in Redland, to Charlie RELEFORD and Lillian NICHOLSON. She died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, in Muldrow. Survivors include her husband, Willis Goodlow of the home; one daughter, Phyllis J.; eight sons, Willis D., and Ted L., James E., Sherman W. and wife Yvette, Harvey L., Richard A., Gary D., Les B. and wife Shelby; two sisters, Mary and Dorothy; 27 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers, Paul, Jack, Homer, Tommy, Wade, Ocie and Bill RELEFORD.

Memorial services for Lloyd Junior MELTON III, an infant, of Muldrow, were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Putman Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation was under the direction of Putman Funeral Homes of Fort Smith, Ark. He died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, in a local hospital. Survivors include his parents, Bobby John and Mary MELTON of the home; paternal grandparents, Lloyd J. MELTON, Jr. and Priscilla MOORE; paternal step-grandmother, Kathy MELTON ; maternal grandmother, Debra PERROTTO; great-grandfather, Lloyd J. MELTON, Sr; great-grandmother, Ellie SNOW and great-grandmother, Mary ALLEN; and brother, Bobby John, Jr.

Memorial services for Clyde B. RANDALL III, 60, of Fayetteville, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Friday at a friend's home in Fayetteville, under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville. Mr. RANDALL was born Oct. 8, 1946, in Fort Smith, Ark. He died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, in Springdale, Ark. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Kathleen RANDALL of Fayetteville; two sons, Josh and his wife B.J., and Aaron; his parents, Clyde B. RANDALL, Jr. and Sharon RANDALL, and Lucy and Mack HARRIS; two sisters, Sarah and Lucy; one brother, Brad; one niece; five nephews; one grandniece; and his dog, Arlo. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark RANDALL.

Graveside services for Hayden SIMCO, 59, of Gans, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Conley Cemetery in Mountainburg, Ark., under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark. Mr. SIMCO died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, in a local hospital. Survivors include his companion, Georgia; two daughters, Tracy and Kelley; two sons, Casey and Daniel; mother, Betty SIMCO; one sister, Jennifer; one brother, Stanley; and several grandchildren.

Graveside services for Ruby Mae STEALER, 65, of Bunch, are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Flute Springs Cemetery, north of Marble City with Rev. Johnny Flute officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. STEALER was born March 31, 1941, in Bunch, to William STEALER and Samantha (BYRD) STEALER. She died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, in Sallisaw. Survivors include three daughters, Jackie and her husband, Jackie, Una. and Romey; two sons, Bardie and Marty; four sisters, Allene, Irene, Wanda and Galelia; one brother, Mack Bird; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, George STEALER and Raymond STEALER.

Funeral services for Francis Louise McGUIRE ALLEN, 50, of Arkoma were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Agent Chapel in Muldrow. The Rev. Billy Marks officiated. Burial was in the Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. ALLEN was born on Aug. 3, 1956, in Tulsa to Albert Rolen McGUIRE and Bonnie Faye (MENDENHALL) McGUIRE. She died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, in Arkohoma. She married Robert Floyd ALLEN on Dec. 14, 1984, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Robert, of the home; one daughter, Glenda Faye; two sons, Jackie Delano and Robert Dale; four grandchildren; father, Albert Rolen McGUIRE; mother, Bonnie Faye McGUIRE of Arkoma; one sister, Sheila; three brothers, Everett, and Bud Wayne and Rodgen; and several other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Geraldine BURCHAM BURNS, 81, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Way Cross Freewill Baptist Church in Sallisaw. The Rev. Jerry Copeland is officiating. Burial is in the Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BURNS was born on Feb. 23, 1925, in Sequoyah County to Claude ANDREWS and Lona ELLIS. She died on Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, in Sallisaw. She married Robert BURCHAM on Feb. 6, 1948, in Fort Smith, Ark. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1994. She later married Bill BURNS. Survivors include her husband, Bill BURNS of the home; three daughters, Mary Lee, Donna Sue, and Angela Joy; two sons, James Claudie and Kenny Ray; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Raymond Edward CHANEY, 75, of Sallisaw, will be held at 10 a m Thursday, Jan 11, at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Burial will be in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral home of Sallisaw. Mr CHANEY was born Aug 5, 1931, in Fulton, Kan, to Frank Albert CHANEY and Mamie CHANEY. He died Monday, Jan 1, 2007, in Sallisaw. Mr CHANEY retired from the Military and was a nightclub operator for many years. He was a decorated Air Force veteran of the Vietnam and Korean wars and he was of the Methodist faith. He married Jane Ruth GRAVES, Feb 3, 1987, in Tahlequah. She preceded him in death, Nov 27, 2003, in Sallisaw. Survivors include four daughters, Radene GRIFFITH of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Theresa CHANEY, all of Spokane, Wash., Lisa Gallagher of Muldrow and Bonita Dunn of Dunmar, Ky; nine sons, Raymond, Jr., James, David, Charles, Robert, Frank, Kevin and Steve; one brother, Frank Leroy; 31 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services for Amos Eugene FARRIS, 76, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at the Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw with Rev. Ed Cunningham officiating, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. FARRIS was born Sept. 16, 1930, in Akins, to James Arlis FARRIS and Zula WHITWORTH. He died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in Sallisaw. Mr. FARRIS was an auto mechanic. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Lois (HORN) FARRIS of the home; three daughters, Phyllis and husband Wayne, and Carla and husband Norman, and Susan and husband Steve; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents, both sets of grandparents, three uncles, two aunts.

Funeral services for Johnny Arvel FUGETT, 66, of Arkoma, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Putman Funeral home of Fort Smith. Mr. FUGETT died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife, Barbara of the home; one son, Les; one sister, Judy; and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hezikah and Florence FUGETT, one son, Eddie and one sister, Ramona CORBITT.

Funeral services for longtime Sallisaw businessman Alton GEAN Jr., 81, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Sallisaw. Mr. GEAN died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, in Fayetteville, Ark. Dr. David Clewell officiated at the services, and burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. He was born to David Alton GEAN Sr. and Ferrell Juanita (ELLIS) GEAN on Sept. 12, 1925, in West Point, Miss. He married Nell SMITH on Dec. 19, 1948. They were married and close companions to each other for 58 years. In addition to his wife survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David and Sherry GEAN of Sallisaw, and many cousins and friends.

Graveside services for James Randolph KINGSBURY, 81, of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fort Smith National Cemetery with Rev. Ron Duncan officiating, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. KINGSBURY was born Nov. 22, 1925, in Tulsa, to John KINGSBURY and Evelyn DERRINGTON. He died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Stephanie of the home; four daughters, Julie, Lisa, Cathy and Karen; three sons, Randy, Jeff and David; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Floyd Archie LEWIS, 87, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Sallisaw. The Rev. Brian Zinck and Dr. Mike Taylor officiated. Burial was in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. LEWIS was born on Jan. 23, 1919, in Booneville, Ark., to James Elwood LEWIS and Elizabeth Mae (NICHOLS) LEWIS. He died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was raised in the Buffington area west of Sallisaw by his aunt and uncle, Luther and Nancy PERRY. He married Dorothy Florence WOODWARD on Oct. 21, 1943, in Tulsa. She preceded him in death on June 24, 2004, in Sallisaw. Survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Emma Sue; one grandson; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Lester LEWIS, three sisters, Helen TREADWAY, Gladys FAIN, and Fannie SLAUGHTER, and three special cousins, Lowell, MILES , and Nolan PERRY.

Funeral services for Verna Lee LINDSAY, 76, of Polo Mo., formerly of Sallisaw, are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Knoxville Community Church. Burial is in Elmira Cemetery in Elmira, Mo., under the direction of Bailey and Cox Family Funeral Service of Polo, Mo. Mrs. LINDSAY was born Sept. 17, 1930, in Sallisaw to Tom and Lessie (CURL) STITES. She died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, in Liberty, Mo. She married Eugene LINDSAY, April 5, 1952. Survivors include her husband, Eugene LINDSAY of the home; four children, Tim and his wife, Sharon, Deborah and her husband, Larry, and Dan and his wife Lou, and James and his companion Vanessa; two sisters, Margaret and Imogene; three brothers, J.T., Don and Ed; grandchildren; and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Ted, Doug, Herbert and Charles STITES.

Funeral services for Pauline G. "Polly" MAYES, 85, of Park Hill, are being held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel in Tahlequah with Rev. David Roberts officiating. Burial is in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah. Mrs. Mayes was born May 22, 1921, in Wewoka, to Emmett TAYLOR and Elizabeth (DENNY) TAYLOR. She died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, in Park Hill. She married Jack MAYES, April 28, 1947, in Alice, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1998. Survivors include two daughters, Mitzi, and Jacki and her husband, Chris; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Vivian WASSON and Eva LEE.

He married Lura Virginia JOHNSTON on May 29, 1941, in Warner. She preceded him in death on June 6, 2006, in Muskogee. Survivors include, one son, John H. and his wife, Joyce; two daughters, Virginia Eileen and her husband, Joe, and Mary Jane and her husband, Mark; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Dale Ritter officiating, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. MORTON was born Feb. 16, 1947, in Sallisaw, to George MORTON and Elizabeth FIELDS. He died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Carol (LOONEY) MORTON of the home; one daughter, Johnna and husband, Billy; two sons, Bobby and wife, Cindy,and Alan; two sisters, Jeanne and Kathy; two brothers, George and Joe; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services for Eugene LaFay MURPHY, 70, of Porum, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Whitefield Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler. Mr. Murphy was born Jan. 7, 1937, in Whitefield, to Ed and Grace (WILSON) MURPHY. He died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, in Vian. Survivors include one daughter, Patsy and her husband, Robert; one son, Larry and his wife, Fonda; two daughters, Geneva and her husband, Skeet, and Lydia and her husband, Chuck; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Neomia RICHARDSON and one brother, William MURPHY.

David F. "Chief" RENN, 81, of Roland, was born on Dec. 18, 1925, in Liverpool, Pa., to David RENN and Hazel (WATTS) RENN. He died on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, in Charleston, Ark. Mr. RENN was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of the Lutheran Church. The obituary was submitted by Smith Mortuary of Charleston. Survivors include his companion Sharon; and one son, Beau.

Funeral services for Tommy Paul TERRAPIN, Jr., 37, of Oklahoma City, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Fosters' Ivory Chapel in Muskogee. Burial was in Starnes Cemetery, under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home of Muskogee. Mr. TERRAPIN was born Dec. 20, 1969, in Landstuhl, Germany. He died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, in Edmond. Survivors include two daughters, Alissa and Kayla; father, Tom and his wife Lenore; sister, Tammy and husband, Jimmy; two nephews; one niece; grandparents, Bill and Vickey NIGH; aunt Linda; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lewann (NIGH) TERRAPIN REDFERN and paternal grandparents, Tom L. TERRAPIN and paternal grandmother, Ruth Sixkiller TERRAPIN.

Funeral services for George McCLELLAN TUNE, 80, were held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Floral Haven in Broken Arrow with a reception following, under the direction of Floral Haven of Broken Arrow. Mr. TUNE was born Jan. 6, 1927, in Gans, to Andrew F. and Beatrice (STIMSON) TUNE. He died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, in Tulsa. He married Ila Mae EARP, April 17, 1948. She preceded him in death in 2003. Survivors include his brothers, Otis and Kenneth; sisters, Minnie and Virginia; son, Danny and daughter-in-law, Jackie; daughter, Brenda, and son-in-law, Tom; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and his special friend, his honorary fiancé, Clara.

Funeral services for Chanler Wayne WOOTEN, an infant, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Gans Assembly of God Church with Rev. Harold McKeehen officiating. Burial was in Gans Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born Jan. 21, 2007, in Tahlequah, to Justin Wayne WOOTEN and Heather Renee (DEAN) WOOTEN. He died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, in Tahlequah. Survivors include his parents, of the home; grandparents, Della and Mike RULE, Monte DEAN, and Wilma and Louie WOOTEN, Jr.; great-grandparents; and several aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
