Services for Sidney Bryan BLACKARD, 88, of Muldrow were held Monday, Dec. 31, at 11 a.m. in the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Roland L. Luelf and the Rev. Eddie Pohlman officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of the Agent Funeral home in Sallisaw. Mr. BLACKARD died Friday, Dec. 28, 1984, at Sequoyah East Nursing Center in Roland. He was born in Sequoyah District, Indian Territory, on Dec 3, 1896, to John V. BLACKARD and Nellie BABB BLACKARD. He married Laura MEUREY in California in 1930. She preceded him in death in 1968. Survivors include one son, Sidney D.; one sister, Mildred; two brothers, Judson H. and Carl S.; and two granddaughters

Graveside services for L.C. COUGHRAN, 56, of Muldrow were held Thursday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. at the Maple Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Carl Williams officiating. Mr. COUGHRAN was born to Martin COUGHRAN and Tildie ROBERTSON COUGHRAN on April 23, 1928, in the Paw Paw community. He died Jan. 1, 1985 in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Gracie Louise DUTY on Jan. 16, 1962, in Sallisaw. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Durhonda; the mother, Tildie; five brothers, Lee, Frank, Monroe, Bob and Lonnie; and two sisters, Mildred and Lillie. Burial was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Services for Fred Galveston FARMER, 92, of Muldrow are being held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the Muldrow First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Ray Hood officiating. Burial follows in the Upper Camp Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. FARMER was born in Muldrow, Sequoyah District, Indian Territory, to Henry FARMER and Eliza BLACKARD FARMER on April 27, 1892. He married Ella WILSON on Oct. 13, 1912 in Muldrow. She preceded him in death on Oct. 18, 1979. Survivors include one son, Charles Randall; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services for E.C. TURNER, 50, of Muldrow are being held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. in the Muldrow Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Wayne Strang officiating. Burial is in the Upper Camp Creek Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. TURNER was born to Elbert C. TURNER and Hallie Louise GAMMILL TURNER on Sept. 18, 1934, in Lone Oak. He died in Fort Smith, Ark. Jan. 2, 1985. Survivors include his mother, Hallie; two daughters, Janet and Denise; two grandchildren; and three sisters, Mary , Betty and Essie.

John Eugene CROSSNO, 67, of Norman died Sunday, Jan. 6, 1985, at the Veterans Hospital in Norman. Private family services were held in Norman Wednesday. Mr. CROSSNO was born Nov. 4, 1917, to Charles Madison and Mary Frances CROSSNO in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Cleta, of the home; two sons, Johnny Ray and Johnny Isaac; three daughters, Mary, Carol and Brenda; two grandsons; three granddaughters; two brothers, Champ and Elmo; and three sisters, Maxine, Mary and Glynda.

Services for Julius Ray LAVENDUSKY of Schulter, formerly of Sallisaw, were held Monday, Jan. 7, at 3:30 p.m. at the Shurden Funeral Home Chapel in Henryetta with the Rev. H.M. Curtis and the Rev. Tommy Freeman officiating. Burial followed in the Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta under the direction of the Shurden Funeral Home. Mr. LAVENDUSKY died Friday, Jan. 4, in a Tulsa hospital at the age of 38. He was born Sept. 15, 1946, in Henryetta. Survivors include the wife, Carol; one son, Brandon Ray; the mother, Belva; one brother, Darrell; one sister, Linda K.; and two nieces and three nephews.

Services for Lillian Raybon OVERSTREET, 101, of Carterville are being held Thursday Jan. 10, at 2:30 p.m. at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial is in the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home. Mrs. Overstreet died Monday, Jan. 7, 1985 at a Fort Smith hospital. She married C.A. OVERSTREET Sr.  He preceded her in death in January of 1971.  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. M. and Mrs. Hal; one son, C.A. Jr.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services for Rickey Daniel TRUETT, 26, of Tahlequah, were held Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. in the Faith Freewill Baptist Church at Blackgum with the Rev. Phillip Holt officiating. Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home. Mr. TRUETT died Friday, Jan. 24, 1985, in Tahlequah. He was born Dec. 12, 1958, in Tahlequah to Robert Leon TRUETT and Leona WILDCAT TRUETT. Survivors include the mother, Leona; four brothers, Robert Lee, Robin Darrell, Rodney Dwight and Marshal Adrian; the step-father, Mike.

Graveside services for Billy Jack SPRINGWATER, 51, of Tulsa were held Thursday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m. at the Gans City Cemetery with the Rev. Bradley Dyer officiating. Mr. SPRINGWATER died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 1985, at the City of Faith Hospital in Tulsa. He was born Nov. 26, 1933, to William R. SPRINGWATER and Della Mae FOYIL SPRINGWATER in the Brent community. He married Carolyn Sue WOODRUFF April 21, 1956, in Stilwell. She survives. Other survivors include the mother, Della Mae ; and one brother, Glen. Services were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Services for Dola Mae WRIGHT, 81, of Vian were held Friday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. in the Vian Baptist Church with the Rev. Laymon Garrison officiating. Burial followed in the Box Cemetery under the direction of the Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. WRIGHT was born Jan. 22, 1903, in Huntington, Ark., to Zack DAVIS and Vina PETERS DAVIS. She died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 1985, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. Survivors include six daughters, Lenora, Frankie, Colene, Arlene, Lavana and Barbara; four sons, John, Bill, Jim and Jack; two sisters, Mary and Doris; a brother, Jess; 28 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. WRIGHT was preceded in death by a daughter, Mattie SHOEMAKER, on Nov. 29, 1984.

Services for James Marshall BARNUM, 40, of Durham, N.C., were held Friday, Jan. 18, at 1:30 p.m. at the New Morning Star Baptist Church in Moffett with the Rev. James D. Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Fort Smith, Ark., National Cemetery under the direction of the Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. BARNUM died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 1985, in Durham. He was born Oct. 19, 1944, to Sam Wyatt BARNUM and Nola Mae LINCOLN BARNUM in England, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, LaTonya Renee; four sons, Edward, Darren, Fitzgerald and James Jr.; four sisters, Patsy Jo, Sandrel Kay, Shirley and Dorthea; two brothers, Willie and Anthony; the father, Sam Wyatt BARNUM; and fiancee, Marion. Mr. BARNUM was preceded in death by his mother, Nola Mae BARNUM , in June of 1970.

Services for Donald DeWayne GREGORY, 24, of Sallisaw were held Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 2 p.m. in the Agent Chapel with the Rev. Alton Matlock officiating. Burial was in the Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home. Mr. GREGORY was born April 8, 1960, to Donald Lloyd GREGORY and Ida Maye BENGE GREGORY in Sallisaw. He died in Sallisaw Sunday, Jan. 13, 1985. He married Linda MILLER Feb. 18, 1981, in Sallisaw. She survives. Other survivors include to step-daughters, Candance and Michelle; the mother, Ida Maye; the step father, Truman; the maternal grandmother, Lucille; the maternal grandfather, Tom; the paternal grandmother, Mattie; and the paternal grandparents, U.L and Gracie Lee.

Graveside services for Ancil Keith HALL, 30, of Panama were held Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 2 p.m. in the Milton Cemetery, west of Bokoshe, with the Rev. Walter Watts officiating. Mr. HALL died Saturday, Jan. 12, in Granite. He was born Aug. 14, 1954, in Ajo, Ariz. Survivors include the mother, Ola HALL; one brother, Robert Wayne; two half-sisters, Kim and Becky; and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.G. GUEST. Burial was under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Services for Jewell Tinney LAND, 77, of Sallisaw were held Monday, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Sallisaw First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Tommy Parker and the Rev. Dave Kelly officiating. Burial followed in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home. Mrs. LAND died Saturday, Jan. 12, 1985, in Sallisaw. She was born Dec. 11, 1907, to the Rev. Druary Quzeene CALLAHAN and Nancy SHOOK CALLAHAN in Sequoyah County. She married D.G. LAND Oct. 17, 1923, in Sallisaw. He survives. Other survivors include three sons, D.C. , Paul and Wayne; four sisters, Eva, Bonnie, Iva and Pearl; two brothers, John and Quzeene; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services for William H. "Bill" WELLS of Vian were held Monday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m. in the Vian Assembly of God Church. The Revs. William Peterson, Robert McCorkel and Duane Houston officiated at the services which were followed by burial in the Box Cemetery, north of Vian. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. WELLS was born to William Calvin WELLS and Elizabeth BLEVINS WELLS on Nov. 10, 1908, in Braggs. He died in Sallisaw Jan. 10, 1985, at the age of 76. He married Myrtle Louise PAYNE March 17, 1928, in Braggs. She survives. Other survivors include five daughters, Mary Lou, Carolyn, Joyce, Sue, and Patricia; four sons, Lee, Lloyd Delbert, Roy Thomas, and Louie; three sisters, Alma, Ora and Anna; two brothers, Clifford and Elmer; 40 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Mr. WELLS was preceded in death by a son, William Daniel WELLS in 1936; by three brothers, Delmer WELLS as an infant, Raymond WELLS in 1983 and Homer WELLS in 1984; and by three grandchildren, Ricky Glen WELLS in 1983, Gregory Lloyd WELLS in 1966 and Teri Lyn WELLS in 1971.

Services for Edna Frank BAILEY, 88, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held Saturday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m. in the Wheeler Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Tom Middleton officiating. Burial followed in the Gans Cemetery under the direction of the Wheeler Funeral Home. Mrs. BAILEY died at a Fort Smith nursing home on Thursday, Jan. 17. She was born on Aug. 13, 1896, in Webb City, Ark. Survivors include two daughters, Minnie and Ica; seven sons, Grover, Charley, Hoover, John, Lewis, Homer, and Delbert; two sisters, Vera and Minnie; one brother, Homer; 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Eva Mae BOND, 92, of Muldrow died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 1985, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. Services are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. at the Liberty Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Lavern Stephens and the Rev. John Lee officiating. Burial follows in the Liberty Cemetery under the direction of the Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. BOND was born to Lewis SUTTON and Etta CARR SUTTON on May 22, 1892, in Roland. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fletcher BOND, on July 15, 1976, and by one son, Calvin Coolidge. Survivors include five daughters, Myrtle Jane, Maud Francis, Florence Ann, Loma Audra and Etta Mae; three sons, George Lewis, John Earnest and Herman; six sisters, Lee, Velma, Cora, Bess, Mable, and Mildred; three brothers, George, Earnest and Ed; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Frankie L. FLOYD, 63, of Spiro, died in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital Tuesday, Jan. 22, 1985. Services are being held Thursday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. at the Panama Church of Christ with Bro. Earnest Duncan officiating. Burial will be at the New Hope Cemetery east of Spiro. Survivors include her husband, Ben; three sons, Jeff, Danny, and Ben Jr.; three brothers, Wayne, Robert, and Tommie; two sisters, Freddie and Alice; two grandsons; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Millie F. HARL, 61, of Sallisaw were held Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m. in the Agent Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Bias officiating. Burial followed in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home. Mrs. HARL died in Fort Smith, Ark., on Monday, Jan. 21, 1985. She was born Aug. 4, 1923, to Harvey English MILLS and Lola Isabelle HOPPIS MILLS in Pendal, Ark. She married John HARL on Oct. l6, 1981, in Sallisaw. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Judy and Joyce; one son, Dannie; two step-daughters, Wanda and Emily; two step-sons, Billy John and Johnny; one sister, Mae ; one brother, General; and 14 grandchildren.

Mary Nicole JOBE, the infant daughter of Richard and Cathy JOBE of Sallisaw, died Jan. 17 in Tulsa. Graveside services were held Saturday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m. in the Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee. The Rev. Tom Harrison officiated at the services which were under the direction of Petering Funeral Home of Muskogee. The child was born, Monday, Jan. 14, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. Survivors include the parents; the maternal grandparents, David and Judy MORROW; and the paternal grandfather, Bob JOBE.

Mrs. Dora Belle KING, 102 of Sallisaw died Friday, Jan. 18, 1985, in Sallisaw. Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. in the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Ruth Catalano officiating. Burial was in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of the Agent funeral Home. Mrs. KING was born on March 31, 1882, in Yellsville, Ark. Survivors include one son, Lester; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Mrs. KING was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Irvin KING.

Graveside services for Timothy Patrick McGINNIS, 61, of Sallisaw were held Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 2 p.m. in the Sallisaw City Cemetery. The Rev. Archie Peters officiated at the services which were under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home. Mr. McGINNIS died in Muskogee on Monday, Jan. 21, 1985. He was born Jan. 16, 1924, to George Alex McGINNIS and Lennie A. THORN McGINNIS. Survivors include six daughters, Kim, Tina, Diane, Debra, Cheryl, and Sharon; one son, Michael; two step-daughters, Velda and Mary; one sister, Margie; and nine grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 22, for Archie Homer SIPE, 62, of Porum. Mr. SIPE died in Tulsa on Saturday, Jan. 19, 1985. The Rev. Bud White officiated at the 11 a.m. services which were held in the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial in the Sallisaw City Cemetery, was under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home. Mr. SIPE was born Aug. 15, 1922 to Robert Bruce SIPE and Bessie Jane DECKER SIPE in Fallis. He married Cecil Lillie REMY Aug 2, 1943, in Sallisaw. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Brenda Louise; two sisters, Cinderella and Melba; two brother, Howard and Gene; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services for Mrs. Myrtle Iva TAYLOR of Sallisaw were held Saturday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m. in the Agent Chapel with the Rev. C.H. Ramey officiating. Burial was in the Sanders Cemetery, southwest of Sallisaw, under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home. Mrs. TAYLOR was born to Frank EDWARDS and Amanda KILGORE EDWARDS, on Jan. 3, 1892, in Oklahoma, Indian Territory. She died in Sallisaw on Thursday, Jan. 17, 1985, at the age of 93. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Rosa Lee, and Mrs. Mina Mae; one son, Leonard Frank; one sister Irene; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. TAYLOR was preceded in death by her husband, Lum TAYLOR.

Services for Elbert WALKER, 88, of Spiro are being held Thursday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. in the Spiro First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Burial follows in the Old Cache Cemetery, east of Keota, under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. WALKER died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 1985, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born March 20, 1896, to Marshall WALKER and Ida Mae ERNEST WALKER in Rudy, Ark. He married Sylvia Geneva RICHARDS, June 2, 1934 in Van Buren, Ark. She preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Mildred and Bernice; one son, Gyles; one step-son, Jack; one sister, Edna; two brothers, Ed and Frank; three half-sisters, 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Mattie Lou CAVES, 88, of Sallisaw are scheduled for Monday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. in the Agent Chapel with the Rev. Billy Ray Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Copeland Cemetery, south of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home. Mrs. CAVES was born to J.D. ATKERSON and Susan Alice ATKERSON on March 6, 1896, in Jackson County, Ala. She died Thursday, Jan. 24, in Sallisaw. (The rest of the obit was not here)

Services for Mrs. Willie Dobbs OGDON are being held Saturday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow with the Rev. John Lee and the Rev. Harvey Rogers officiating. Burial is in the Blackjack Cemetery, northwest of Muldrow, under the direction of the Agent Funeral home in Sallisaw. Mrs. OGDON was born to Hugh DOBBS and Dora GREEN DOBBS on July 19, 1910, in Akins. She died Wednesday, Jan. 23, in Fort Smith, Ark., at the age of 74. She married Callis OGDON, Nov. 13, 1927, in Muldrow. He survives. Other survivors include four daughters, Lera, Lucille, Emma and Delcia;. Three sons, Billy Joe, Robert Lee and Donald Ray; three sisters, Gladys, Augusta and Ruby; two brothers, Clarence and Frank; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Allie Lena (Allene) WILSON, 79, of Muldrow died Thursday, Jan. 17, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. Mrs. WILSON was the daughter of the late Bird G. FAULKNER and Florence V. RAGSDALE FAULKNER. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 21, in the Muldrow (this is all of the obit that was included)
