Gene BURKS, 68, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, in Fort Smith. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Heritage Baptist Church in Fort Smith. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Kay; two sons, Richard and David; four sisters, Christine, Nell, JoAnn and Betty; two brothers, Henry and Don; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. BURKS was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence "Pappa" SCHOEPPEY and Ada SCHOEPPEY and also Dave SCHOEPPEY.

Funeral services for Buddy O'Brian BRANHAM, 61,  of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Larry Don Marley officiating.  Burial is in Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. BRANHAM was born June 21, 1938, in the Brushy community, to George O'Brian BRANHAM and Erma (HALL) BRANHAM. He died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark.  He married Edra Faye AMES Jan. 3, 1961, in Stilwell. She preceded him in death Jan. 19, 1998. Survivors include two sons, Michael O'Brian and Keith Edward; three grandchildren; four sisters, Wyneta, Joyce, Bobbie and Geneva; and four brothers, Glen, Jim, Clinton and Jack.

Funeral services for Sylvia B. CAUGHMAN, 92, of Sallisaw are being  held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Revs Larry Don Marley and Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Burial is in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. CAUGHMAN was born July 29, 1907, in Marble City, to Joe and Nancy Jane (BREWER) HINTON. She died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, in Sallisaw.  She married Johnny Elbert CAUGHMAN Aug. 26, 1929, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death Sept. 7, 1986. Survivors include three daughters, Geneva, Lahoma, Brenda; six sons, John, Wayne, Charles, Lyndell, Jody and Jack; 28 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Christine; and one brother, J. R.

Memorial services for Jerry Lee COLE, 51, of Blackwell, formerly of Barnsdall, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Barnsdall, with Bo. Brad Davis and Bro Richard Thomason officiating. Mr. COLE was born Aug. 23, 1948, in Barnsdall, to Arthur and Evelyn (TULLUCK) COLE. He died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, in Muskogee. Survivors include one son, Jacob; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Freda and Harold, and Debbie and Ronnie; two brothers, Lloyd  and Charles; one aunt, Georgia; one uncle, Jim; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services were under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Fort Gibson.

Graveside services for retired Col. Thom GRAYWOLF, 69, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro. Mr. GRAYWOLF was born Nov. 23, 1930, in Memphis, Tenn., to Tommy Alfred STONE Sr.. He died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Brenda of the home.

Thell F. KELLY, 92, of Alma, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, in a local nursing home. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Newberry Chapel Cemetery, near Alma, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Alma. Survivors include his wife, Ressa KELLY of the home; one daughter, Nancy; one son, John; two sisters, Myrtle and Opal; and three grandchildren.

Ethel (COUCH) LEEP, 90, of Vian, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, in Vian. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Box Cemetery, north of Vian, with the Rev. Dale Ritter officiating. Mrs. LEEP was born Dec. 8, 1909, in Cherokee County, to Irvin and Burchey (SMITH) COUCH. Survivors include three daughters, Bea, Carol, and Gearaldine; one son, Billy Wayne; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Alma SWAIM MOORE, 91, of Van Buren, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, in an Oklahoma nursing home. Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. Tuesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Burial was in Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home. Survivors include two daughters, Oneta and Sue; one son, Bob; one sister, Zelda; eight grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. MOORE was preceded in in death by her first husband, Dewitt SWAIM and her second husband, Earl MOORE.

Betty "Tiney" McCOLLUM, 72, of Tulsa died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, in Hartford, Ark. Rosary services was held at 7 p.m. Monday at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Ark. Funeral mass was held at 10  a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hartman, with the Rev. William Wewers officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Hartman, under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home. Mrs. McCOLLUM was born Dec. 3, 1927, in Hartman, to Emil and Mamie (BEUMER) OBERSTE.  Survivors include one daughter, Gloria; two sons, Phillip and Daniel; four sisters, Vera, Jeannette, Bernice and Evelyn; two brothers, Danny and Mickey; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.  Mrs. SHAW died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, in Fort Smith. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Suzette and Ken; four sons and four daughters-in-law, Tony and Elain, Steven and Gwyn, Russell and Tonda, Alan and Kristine; one sister and one brother-in-law, Pat and Bob; two brothers and one sisters-in-law,  Henry Dale, Charles and Eloise; and three grandchildren; Mrs. SHAW was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. SHAW.

Graveside services for Darell Gene STROUP, 62, of Marble City were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Marble City Cemetery, with the Rev. Leroy Reid officiating. Mr. STROUP was born March 27, 1937, in Muskogee to Arch and Josie (HONEYCUTT) STROUP. He died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, in Marble City. Survivors include one daughter, Jawana; three grandchildren; five sisters, Gladys, Geneva Ruth, Joyce and Sophie Lou and Geraldean; and two brothers, Boyd and James. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Dave Edward STEPHENS. 90, of Gore were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Mallory Chapel in Stigler, with the Rev. George Mantooth officiating.  Burial was in Mt. Home Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler.  Mr. STEPHENS was born June 22, 1909, in Quinton, to Andrew and Daisy Mae (HENSON) STEPHENS. He died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, in Gore. Survivors include four daughters, Mae, Ivoria, Ruth and Barbara; three sons, Paul, Edward and Jerry; one brother, Jess; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Mr. STEPHENS was preceded in death by his wife, parents; one son; one grandson; two granddaughters; two brothers; and four sisters.

Funeral services for James Lee TALBOTT, 85, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Larry Don Marley officiating.  Cremains were buried in Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. TALBOTT was born March 24, 1914, in Reedle, W.V., to George and Bessie (SMITH) TALBOTT. He died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Eric and Dana and David Lee; six grandchildren;

Funeral services for Flora Kathryn Peoples HOLEMAN, 84, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Assembly of God Church in Vian, with the Rev. Larry Lewis officiating.  Burial was in Round Mountain Cemetery, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mrs. HOLEMAN was born July 6, 1915, in Vian, to George and Sarah (SHEPHERD) COWETT. She died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, in Muskogee. Survivors include her children, Charles and Phyllis, Johnny and June, Geneva and Loyd, and Willie; three sisters Mary, Susie and Augusta; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Ollie L. KEITH, 87, of Marietta died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, in a Maretta hospital. Funeral services are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, under the direction of Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Survivors include one daughter, Gail; one son, Floyd; one sister, Marie; one brother, Roger; nine grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Mrs. KEITH was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd KEITH.

Funeral services for Ethel (JILES) ROSS, 93, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Vian Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Murphy officiating. Burial was in Maple Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. ROSS was born Oct. 6, 1906, in the Maple community, Sequoyah District,  Oklahoma Indian Territory, to Marion E. "Bud" JILES and Sarah Tady (McBURNEY) JILES. She died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, in Vian.  Survivors include one daughter, Shirley; two sons, Waymon and Bernard; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Opal and Manervia. Mrs. ROSS was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin James ROSS on Aug. 14, 1986; her parents; one son, Alvin Wayne ROSS; one sister, Arzela JILES: and one brother, William "Jinks" JILES.

Garland A. VILLINES, 61, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, in Fort Smith. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday at the River of Life Chapel. Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Joseph Edward ANGEL, 53, of Roland died Friday, Jan. 7, 2000,at his home. Memorial services were held at noon Wednesday at Fentress Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Sharon of the home; seven daughters, Malisa, Venice, Tina, Karen, Kathy, Terry and Tina; one brother, Darrell; and 13 grandchildren. Mr. ANGEL was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Dewy ANGEL; and one brother, Johnny ANGEL.

Funeral services for Juanita E. ANTHONY, 97, of Gans are  being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Curtis Bias officiating. Burial is in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. ANTHONY was born Feb. 18, 1902, in Belmont Station, Seminole District, Oklahoma Indian Territory, to James Monroe FALIN and Emma Florence (BROWN) FALIN. She died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, in Sallisaw. She married John William ANTHONY Nov. 9, 1941, in Kilgore, Texas. He preceded her in death April 4, 1985. Survivors include one sister, Thelma; one stepsister, Gladys; and five cousins.

Funeral services for Robert Franklin BRIGGS, 32 of Brooklyn, N.Y., formerly of Vian, will be held at noon Saturday at the First baptist Church in Vian, with the Revs. T.D. Drew and Eugene Wright officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. BRIGGS was born Aug. 24, 1967, in Sallisaw, to Nathaniel BRIGGS and Sandra Jean BRIGGS JONES. He died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, in Brooklyn. Survivors include his mother, Sandra Jean JONES; his father, Nathaniel BRIGGS;  four sisters, Josephine, Lenda, Chanesha and Ruby; and six brothers, Nathan, Eddie, Marco, David, Daniel and Willie James; Mr. BRIGGS was preceded in death by one brother, Richard BRIGGS.

Burial was in Post Cemetery in Fort Sill, under the direction of Becker Funeral Home in Lawton. Mrs. BRINKLEY was born Oct. 28, 1926, in Sallisaw, to Charles HICKS and Mattie Elizabeth FIELDS. She died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, in an Oklahoma City hospital. She married Billy Lee BRINKLEY May 29,1946, in Fort Hood, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Billy Lee BRINKLEY of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Walker and Beverly Jane, and Phillip Lee and Lynne; six sisters, Elizabeth, Eleanor, Bettie, Georgia, Ruth and Jeanne; and two grandsons. Mrs. BRINKLEY was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Charlene LaCROIX and Katherine FIELDS; and one brother, John Allen FIELDS.

Mrs. CHISUM was born Nov. 22, 1920, in Victor, Ark., to William and Francis (PAYNE) ROBERTS. She died Friday, Jan. 7, 2000, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Jessie Ray COX, 53, of Clarksville, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at his home. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel in Clarksville, with the Rev. Johnny Case officiating. Burial was at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Rock Spring Cemetery in Mena, Ark., under the direction of Harwicke Funeral Home. Mr. COX was born Feb. 16, 1946, in Mena, to William and Mary (MORGAN) COX.  Survivors include his wife, Stella; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Tony, and Jeff and Michelle, and Shane and Kathy; three stepsons and two stepdaughters-in-law, Lonnie and Rose, Larry and Lori,  and Donnie; three sisters, Ruth, Gertrude Cleon and Melba and Ed; two brothers and sisters-in-law,  Roger Dale and Debbie, and Edward and Sharon; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. DAVIS was born Dec. 17, 1928, in Fern, Ark., to William Stanford DAVIS and Mary Ellen (TURNER) DAVIS. He died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Ruth Etta MAXWELL Feb. 10, 1992, in Van Buren.  Survivors include his wife, Ruth E. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Mr. FREEMAN was born Feb. 6, 1952, in Purcell, to Samuel "Sam" Walter JACKSON and Pearl FREEMAN. He died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, near Cookson. He married Lela TERRY June 12, 1995, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife, Lela FREEMAN of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Jodee and Brian; one grandson; his parents, Sam and Pearl ;two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Gary, and Pam and Larry; one brother, David; and 12 nieces and nephews;

Eual H. HUDDLESTON, 78, of Roland died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roland, with the Rev. Paul Day officiating. Mr. HUDDLESTON was born Sept. 22, 1921, in Mill Creek, to Clinton and Hattie (LEE) HUDDLESTON. He married LaVada "Vay" BAGLEY Sept. 18, 1941, in Tempe, Ariz. Survivors include his wife LaVada "Vay" HUDDLESTON of the home; one son, Wayne; eight grandchildren;six great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean; and seveal nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Mr. HUDDLESTON was preceded in death by one son, Ron HUDDLESTON in 1992. Memorial and cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Pauline Ellen HURST, 69, of Sallisaw died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sallisaw City Cemetery, with the Revs. Mike Taylor and Kenneth Macken officiating. Mrs. HURST was born March 29, 1930, in Sallisaw, to Cluvy Clyde COLE and Clercie Mae (RICHARDSON) COLE. She married William Lincoln HURST Oct. 26, 1955, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death May 31, 1981. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia and Mary Ellen; two sons, Billy and Calvin; six grandchildren; her father and step-mother, Cluvy and Velma; and two sisters, Dorothy and Jeweldine. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Lucille MATTHEWS, 95, were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Claremore. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Musgrove, Marriot, Smith Funeral Home in Claremore. Mrs. MATTHEWS was born in 1904 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma Indian Territory, to George W. CHUCULATE  and Elmyra Flukner CHUCULATE. Survivors include one daughter, Betty; one brother, Hastings H.; and several grandchildren.

Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro. Mr. McCANN was born July 6, 1918, in Bokoshe, to John and Jessie (ESTES) McCANN. He died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, at his home. Survivors include his wife Alva (HARRIS) McCANN of the home; one daughter, Regina; two stepdaughters, Martha and Shirley; three stepsons, Stanley, Manuel and Jimmy Don; two sisters, Atha and Hester; two grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren, step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Mr. McCANN was preceded in death by his parents two sisters, Cassie COSGROVE and Lois RHODES; and one brother, Lewis McCANN.

Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. MILLER  was born Oct. 6, 1926, in Seminole, to George Steven MILLER and Martha Jane (HIGGINS) MILLER. He died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Janie, and Julia and Bobby; four sons, Bill, Milton Lee Sr., Gary, and Richard; one stepdaughter, Susan; 26 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen, Delores and Georgia.

Ruth MILLS, 80, of Yuba City, Calif., died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at her home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 4 at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Ed Simmons officiating. Burial was  in Sutter Cemetery. Mrs. MILLS was born Jan. 21, 1919, in Sequoyah County to Cal and Cynthia HARRIS. Survivors include her husband, James A. MILLS of Yuba City; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. MILLS was preceded in death by  one daughter, Frances (GARVIN) JOHNSON.

Burial was in Box Cemetery, north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral home in Sallisaw. Mrs. PRUITT was born March 24, 1927, in Jerome, Ariz., to Merced and Antonia (GUEL) ESQUIVEL. She died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, in Sallisaw. She married John Leroy PRUITT Oct. 12, 1944, in Reno, Nev. He preceded her in death Feb. 24, 1992. Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Lee, Jeannie, Teri Lynn; one son, John L; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Cipriano; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Bobby Joe TAYLOR, 64, of Willis Point, Texas, formerly of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Maple Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Mr. TAYLOR was born Nov. 1, 1935, in the Redland community, to Clarence and Grace Helen (BRUNK) TAYLOR. He died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, in Dallas. He married Betty PATTERSON Oct. 3, 1987, in Dallas. Survivors include his wife, Betty TAYLOR of the home; one daughter, Lisa; two sons, Steve and Chris; 10 grandchildren; and one brother, Jerry A. "Tommy".

Funeral services for Bonnie THOMPSON, 88, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church in Sallisaw, with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home. in Sallisaw. Mrs. THOMPSON was born April 27, 1911, in Gans, to A.F. and Pearl (BENGE) HARRISON. She died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, in Sallisaw. She married Raymond THOMPSON May 12, 1934, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death Nov. 30, 19993. Mrs. WELSH was born Aug. 8, 1913, in Amber, to Jospeh Levi IVIE and Ollie LaVada (SPENCER) IVIE. She died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Mike WELSH April 21, 1953, in Freemont, Ind. He preceded her in death Oct. 4, 1994. J. D. DAVIS, 82, of Brooken died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, in Muskogee. Graveside services are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Brooken Cemetery, with the Rev. Don Duval officiating. Mr. DAVIS was born May 18, 1917, in Brooken, to Drew and Ollie McCLENAHAN) DAVIS. He married Edith MADDEN Aug. 13 1935 in Brooken.  Survivors include his wife, Edith of the home; two daughters, Inez and Katy Sue; three sons, I.B. , Bill and Jerald; three brothers, Jessie, Jack and John; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. DAVIS was preceded in death by two sons, Hugie and T. H. DAVIS; four sister, Leona DAVIS, Opal WILLIAMS, Violet DAVIS and Ina DAVIS; and four brothers, Gene DAVIS, William DAVIS, Walter DAVIS and Buck DAVIS. Conine KELLY, 95, of Alma, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, in a local hospital.  Graveside services are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Berry Chapel Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Alma.  Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Ruth; one son, John; three grandchildren; and one nephew. Odia Louise McCONNELL, 79, of Muskogee died Tuesday, Jan. 11 2000, in Muskogee Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Fosters' Ivory Chapel in Muskogee, with the Rev. John Johnson officiating. A committal service was held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian.  Mrs. McCONNELL was born Nov. 15, 1920, in Hackett, Ark., to William and Sarah (Black) MILLER. She married Doyl McCONNELL May 23, 1938. Survivors include her husband, Doyl McCONNELL of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Ray D. and Bonnie McCONNELL of Muskogee; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Mildred and Joe and Carol and Raymond, Judy, and Virginia and Arthur; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margie  and Elizabeth; She was preceded in death by one son, David Lee McCONNELL in 1995; one brother, Albert MILLER; and one sister, Betty Jo KNOTT.  Arrangements were under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home in Muskogee.

He died Saturday, jan. 15, 2000, in Sallisaw. He married Eva Opal COPELAND Jan. 26, 1974, in Corvalis, Ore. Survivors include his wife, Eva O. BRYAN of the home; one son, Glenn; four stepdaughters, Pat, Ellen, Fern and Birdie; two stepsons, Edward and Jerry; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Roy Lee CLOTFELTER, 82, of Van Buren, Ark., died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at his home. Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Van Buren. Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the  direction of Ocker Funeral Home. Survivors include include his wife, Joyce CLOTFELTER of the home; three daughters, Judy, Jeanne and Mary Jo; one stepdaughter, Lisa; four sons, James, Joseph, William and Robert; two stepsons, Michael and Alvin; two sisters, Anna Mae and Jewel; 25 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Juanita GREENIG, 80, of Muskogee died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, in her home. Funeral services are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fosters' Ivory, Chapel, with the Rev. William R. Buttram officiating. Burial is in Greenhill Cemetery, under the direction of Foster Petering Funeral Home in Muskogee. Mrs. GREENIG was born July 24, 1919, in Muskogee, to L. F. and Glenna (WINCHESTER) SCROGGINS. Survivors include one brother, Jack; one sister-in-law, Frances; one brother-in-law, Bob; four nieces; and her husband, Danny; and one nephew;  Mrs. GREENIG was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 27, 1994.

Carl Don HARRIS, 51, of Sallisaw died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, in a Tulsa hospital. He was born May 28, 1948, in lawton, to Cyril and Carlene (RAMSEY) EATMON. Survivors include one sister, Mary; one brother, Ernest D.; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Louise O'BRYAN, 79,  of Van Buren, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000,  in a local hospital. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Van Buren. Burial was in Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. Jeanne GROSE OWEN, 75, of Muskogee, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, in Muskogee. Mrs. OWEN was born May 2, 1924, in Hanna, to William Mathew GROSE and Sarah Bell (SPEAR) GROSE. She married Ray Eugene Owen Sept. 18, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nev. Survivors include her husband, Ray Owen of the home; one son Steve J.; one daughter, Donna Jeanne; five grandchildren; one brother, Hershel Wayne; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

HUFELD June 9, 1945, in Jacksonville, Fla.  Survivors include his wife, Norma J. Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn and Charlene "May-Pop"; four sons, Charles "Tommy", Michael Earl, Kenneth Lee and Timothy Wayne; two sisters, Bobbie and Joyce; one brother, the Rev. Manuel Earl; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. BREEDLOVE was preceded in death by her husband, Charles BREEDLOVE.

Pleasant "Shorty" GISH, 74, of Arkoma died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, in Pocola. She married Troy Franklin HAIL Feb. 5, 1934, in Phoenix. He preceded her in death March 20, 1984.  Survivors include three daughters, Darleen, Doris and Donna; one son, James; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Nell, Bonnie, Fern, Gayle and Glenna; and five brothers, Glenn, Ray, Billy, Bobby and Dean. Mrs HAIL was also preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd MARTIN.

(SMITH) PINKERTON.  She died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, in Muldrow. She married John Henry PETERS Oct. 18, 1947, in the Long community. He preceded her in death Oct. 20, 1986.  Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Steve, Evelyn M. and Gary and Virginia and Rick; one son and daughter-in-law, John D. and Lisa; one grandson; six step-grandchildren;three step-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Herbert.

Rosa Lee WHEELER, 69, of Bakersfield, Calif., formerly of Sallisaw, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, in Bakersfield. Interment is at 2 p.m Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial park in Bakersfield. Mrs. WHEELER was born June 27, 1930, in Lineswitch, to Clyde and Jewel (HARRIS) WOODS. Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Kay;  one son, Larry; two grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Loreda and Bessie June; one brother, Tom; and many friends, both in Sallisaw and Bakersfield. Mrs. WHEELER was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle WHEELER; and one granddaughter, Deborah Lee Wadkins DOYLE.
