Graveside services for Hayden Lee BARNOSKI, 54, of Vian will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Evening Shade/Barnoski Cemetery, with the Revs. Mike McConnell and Crosslin Smith officiating. Mr. BARNOSKI was born Aug. 2, 1946, in Tahlequah, to Barney and Louann (BOLIN) BARNOSKI. He died Monday, Jan. 1, 20001, in Vian. Survivors include five sons, Chebon, John, Rickey, Lance and Phillip; two sisters, Nadine and Nannie; two brothers, Barney and Barnett; and three grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Logan W. BICKEL, 87, of Muskogee are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenhill Cemetery, with the Rev. George Gilland officiating. Mr. BICKEL was born March 6, 1913, in Verdigris, to John and Willie Myrtle BICKEL. He died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at Eastgate Village Retirement Center. He married Mary Ellen WILLIAMS June 17, 1939, in Wichita, Kan. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Tom and Don and Linda; one granddaughter; Mr. BICKEL was preceded in death by his wife, Mary BICKEL on May 18, 1998. Arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home in Muskogee.

Funeral services for Dixie CARR, 90, of Panama were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Evans and Miller Chapel in Poteau, with the Rev. Dell Glenn officiating. Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. CARR was born July 6, 1910, in Midland, Ark., to Richard and Georgina BORTHWICK BLAIR. She died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, in Spiro. Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Sue, Joy and Carroll, and Elma Jo; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard Blair and Janice; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Mrs. CARR was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Elmer; and one sister, Isa CLAY.

Funeral services for Jessie V. COUGHRAN, 58, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Troy Tanksleary officiating. Burial is in Lee's Chapel Cemetery, south of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Mrs. COUGHRAN was born Feb. 27, 1942, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Jesse Burll WEAVER and Mable Virginia (CAPEHART) WEAVER. She died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, in Fort Smith. She married William Monroe COUGHRAN Oct. 30, 1956, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death Dec. 29, 1993. Survivors include five daughters, Rhonda Gail, Cynthia Diane, Karen Elaine, Pamela Lynn and jessie Jeanette; her mother, Mable Virginia WEAVER; two sisters, Betty and Orlean; one brother, Charles; 11 grandsons; four granddaughters; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Laura Evelyn CRAWFORD, 99, of Marble City are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Marble City First Baptist Church, with the Revs. Charlie Shell and Leroy Reid officiating. Burial is in Marble City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. CRAWFORD was born Jan. 1, 1902, in White Rock, Ark., to Paul and Sara McMINN. She died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, in Marble City. Survivors include two daughters, Edmee and Wilma; one son, James C.; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Mrs. CRAWFORD was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dennis; one daughter, Sigrid TRUEBLOOD; two sisters; three brothers; and two half-brothers.

Funeral services for Clydes CZARNIKOW, 79, of Roland were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roller Cox Chapel in Clarksville, Ark. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Clarksville, under the direction of Roller Cox Funeral home in Clarksville. Mrs. CZARNIKOW died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at Countryside Manor in Lamar, Ark. Survivors include one sister, Betty; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. CZARNIKOW was preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Maize CZARNIKOW.

Funeral services for Angela Kay GRAHAM, 27, of Pocola are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church in Pocola, with the Rev. M.C. Ollar officiating. Burial is in Page Cemetery in Page, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau. Ms. GRAHAM was born Nov. 22, 1973, in Torrejon, Spain, to Roger and Penny GRAHAM of Pocola. She died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include her parents, Roger and Penny GRAHAM of Pocola; one sister, Audra Sue; one brother, Jared Wade; one nephew, Joshua; paternal grandmother, Mona; and maternal grandfather, Joe Lawrence.

Graveside services for Shirley RILEY LEE, 60, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Box Cemetery in Vian, with the Rev. Dale Ritter officiating. Mrs. LEEe was born Sept. 28, 1940, in Blackgum, to Gillie and Melvina (TALLEY) RISLEY. She died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at her home. She married Harvey LEE in 1981 at Eureka Springs, Ark. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Faye; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Dephia, Phyllis and Charles, Dixie and Jerry, and Caprice; and one sister-in-law, Mary Lou RISLEY. Mrs. LEE was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and one brother, Donald RISLEY. Arrangements were under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls.

Memorial services for Gertie Evelyn MATTHEWS, 79, of Henrietta, Texas, formerly of Gore, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lake Road Church of Christ in Gore, with the Rev. Harvey Young officiating. Mrs. MATTHEWS was born July 18, 1921, to Robert and Susan (DICKERSON) HAMMONDS. She died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, in a Nocona (Texas) hospital. She married Henry MATTHEWS July 10, 1947, in Muskogee. Survivors include her husband, Henry MATTHEWS of Henrietta; one daughter, Linda; one sister, Floy; one brother, Raymond; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Milton "Smitty" C. SMITH Jr. , 68, of Wichita, Kan., died Tuesday Dec. 26, 2000, in Wichita. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Resthaven Mortuary and Cemetery in Wichita. Survivors include his wife, Betty Sue of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Reva; one daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Ed; three brothers, John, Burl, and Thurman; two sisters, Alice and Shirley; one half-sister, Myrtle ; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. Mr. SMITH was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Corine SMITH; and one daughter, Michelle SMITH.

Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Smith Mortuary Inc. in Charleston. She was born May 20, 1933, in Charleston, S.C., to Otis Lee PARKER and Lucille (DYCUS) PARKER. She died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two daughters,  Patricia Lee and Tresa; one son, Terry Eugene; three sisters, Helen, Betty and Rhonda; three brothers, Wendall, Jimmy and Mike; five grandson; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Millard T. DYER, 88, of Webbers Falls are being held at 1 p.m. Friday at Millsap Funeral Chapel in Webbers Falls, with the Rev. Chuck Hicks officiating. Private burial will be at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls. Mr DYER was born Aug. 3, 1912, in Webbers Falls, to Joel and Daisy (KYLE) DYER. He died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. He married Bonnell JARRARD May 25, 1949, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Bonnell DYER of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Lee; and one sister, Marie.

Funeral services for Lahoma S. GOFF, 77, of Bartlesville, were held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Colonial Chapel of  the Neekamp Funeral home, with the Rev. Jane Huffstetler of St. James Presbyterian Church of Jenks officiating. A private family committal will be held at a later time. Mrs. GOFF was born Aug. 25, 1923, in Vian, to Sam and Mary BARK SMITH. She died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, at her home. She married Ward S. GOFF Dec. 26, 1953, in Muskogee. Survivors include her husband, Ward of the home; three sons, Ron, Mike, and Steve; one brother, Fields; one sister, Juanita; one half-sister, Peachee; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. GOFF was preceded in death by one son; one sister; and brothers. Arrangements were under the direction of Neekamp Funeral Home.

Mrs. HYLES was born Oct. 30, 1945, in Quincy, Calif. She died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. She was married to Donnie HYLES. She died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah. She married Rex JOHNSON Nov. 11, 1924, in Marble City. Survivors include one son, Max "Bill" and wife, Patricia; three daughters, Ruby Sue and husband, Codidge, and Christine "Chris" and husband, Zane, and Mary Louise; three brothers, Tom, and wife, Margaret, Ryder, and Little Dave; 28 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives, cousins, nieces, nephews and loved ones. Mrs. JOHNSON was preceded in death by her husband, Rex, in 1974; her parents; one daughter, Maggie Joyce BURNETT; four sons, infant Harvey James JOHNSON, Jack JOHNSON, Jimmy Floyd JOHNSON and Charles Clarence JOHNSON; three brothers, Ben BUSH, Sam BUSH, and Robert BUSH; and four sisters, Nancy BEAVER, Easter PIGEON, Maude PIGEON and Sally BUSH.

Graveside services for Irene PAINTER, 87, of Lake City, Fla., formerly of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Friday at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith. Mrs. PAINTER died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, in Lake City. Survivors include two grandchildren, Christine and Eric; and three nieces, Leora, Louise, and Bernice; Mrs.PAINTER was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred MARTIN; and her second husband, Roy PAINTER. Funeral services for Evelyn Boy SATTERFIELD, 77, of Roland will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial will be in St. Joe Cemetery in Atkins, Ark., under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Mrs. SATTERFIELD died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, in a local nursing home. Survivors include one daughter, Lou Jean; three sons, Duane, Darwin, and Marvin; one sister, Agnes; one brother, Jim; and seven grandchildren.  Mrs. SATTERFIELD was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry BOY; and her second husband, Gene SATTERFIELD.

Funeral services for Carl Ray SCOTT, 59, of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Agent chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Raymond Chew officiating. Mr. SCOTT was born July 1, 1941, in Sallisaw, to Ward William SCOTT and Thelma Ray (WATTS) SCOTT. He died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, in Sallisaw. Burial is in  Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, northeast of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Mrs. SHAMBLIN  was born Jan. 20, 1914, in Muldrow, to Joseph Edward RUCKMAN and Mattie Lou (PREWETT) RUCKMAN. She died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Dock Henry SHAMBLIN Aug. 10, 1929, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death Dec. 15, 1988. Survivors include one daughter, Joy Sue; two sons, Bobby Joe and Darrell; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Pearl, Okla, Fairl Dean and Lois; and one brother, Norman. Mrs. SHAMBLIN was also preceded in death by one son, Carlos J.E. SHAMBLIN.

Survivors include her husband, Orvil D. WALTON of the home; one son, Ronald Wayne; one step-daughter, Debbie; three stepsons, Dewayne, Scott and James; nine grandchildren; and four brothers, Larry, Billy, David and Donald.

Holman Ralph YOUNG Sr., 78, of Paris, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, in Paris. Funeral services are being held at 2 p.m. Friday at Roller Chapel in Paris. Burial is in McKendree Cemetery in Subiaco, Ark., under the  direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris. Survivors include one daughter, Alice; one son, Roy; one sister-in-law, Marie; one brother, Carl; and several other relatives and friends. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. GUNTER was born April 4, 1912, in Gans, to James Martin GUNTER and Lula (COUCH) GUNTER. He died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, in Sallisaw. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Fern and D.G., Rosemary and Tom, and Ann; two sons and two daughters-in-law, John Clark and Jackie, and George M. and Janice; one sister, Irene; two brothers, Joe and Dexter; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  Mr. GUNTER was preceded in death by his parents; his wife,  Okla; one sister, Etta LINKER; and two brothers, Jimmy GUNTER and George M. GUNTER.

Burial was in Gans Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Mr. HENRY was born Oct. 15, 1909, in Crawford County, Ark., to James S. HENRY and Minnie (STEVENSON) HENRY. He died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Pauline I. BROWN Jan. 8, 1936, in Gans. She preceded him in death April 16, 1997. Survivors include four sisters, Annabelle, Edith, Erdie and Elsie.

Glenda COUCH LATSOS, 45, of Tulsa died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, in Tulsa. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Blackgum Harvestime Church with the Rev. Chris Armer officiating. Burial was in Box Cemetery, north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. She was born March 5, 1955, in Sallisaw, to J.C. and Cloey (SKAGGS) COUCH. Survivors include one son, Dustin Scott; her parents, J.C. and Cloey COUCH; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Carolyn; two nieces; her finacee, Bill; her grandfather, James Mike; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mike Velton MATHIS, 55, of Van Buren, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Vision Worship Center in Van Buren. Burial is in Mount McCurry Cemetery in Rudy, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren. Mr. MATHIS died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, in Mexico City. Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Monica and Velta, Michelle and Rickey, and Leslie and Chad; two sisters, Dollie Ruth and Pat; one brother, Bill; and three grandchildren.

She died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, in Norman. She married Charles MOORE Jan. 19, 1969, in Garden City. Survivors include her husband, Charles MOORE of the home; her parents, Thomas and Verneta JONES; one daughter, Kelly; one son and daughter-in-law, Bud and Amy; two sisters, Barbara and Debby; one granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Gore Cemetery, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls. Mrs. MORRISON was born Jan. 13, 1919, at Solgahachia, Ark., to John and Rosie (SKIPPER) EDWARDS. She died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw. Survivors include two sisters, Mildred and Syble; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Billie; two sisters-in-law, Velma and Margie; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. MORRISON was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford MORRISON; and three brothers, Millard EDWARDS, Othel EDWARDS, and Leonard EDWARDS.

Gladys H. QUINN, 89, of Sallisaw died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, in Sallisaw. She was born Jan. 22, 1911, in Sallisaw, to Jerome and Arah Jane (COLLINS) ELBERTSON. Her husband, Harley QUINN, preceded her in death. No services are planned, the body was donated to science. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Graveside services for Leland Rex TABOR, 78, of Sallisaw are being held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating. Mr. TABOR was born Dec. 25, 1922, in the Belefonte community, to Charles and Velma (BRYANT) TABOR. He died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, in Sallisaw. He married Margaret Francis SHEARER May 9, 1996, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; one stepson, Louis; one sister, Diana; and one brother, Doyle Dean. Mr. TABOR was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Beverly Jean TABOR; one  sister, Virginia YANCY; and one brother, Bill TABOR. Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Graveside services for Jerry Neil THOMAS, 63, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Mr. THOMAS died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Myra of the home; one daughter, Nancy; one son, Mickey; one sister, Frances; one brother, Jimmy; and five grandchildren. Mr. BROWN was born Nov. 28, 1909, in Gans, to James Richard BROWN and Serepita Lorene (LOYD) BROWN. He died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Mildred Dorthy BROWN Nov. 15, 1941, in Fort Smith. She preceded him in death Feb. 21, 1985, in Gans. He married Aline FARMER CLIMER Feb. 27, 1993, in Gans. Survivors include his wife, Aline BROWN of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Tommy; one son and daughter-in-law,  Dewayne and Nelda; three stepsons, Donnie, Jimmy, and Rick; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Jack; and other relatives and friends.

Burial was in Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima, Wash.She married Willard POWELL July 10, 1944. Survivors include special friend, Vern; one son, Jim; four sisters, Bertha, Dolly, Vivian and Treva;  two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Owen REDBIRD, 64, of Vian are being held at 2 p.m. Friday at the House of Praise in Marble City, with the Rev. Leroy Reid officiating. Burial is in Flute Springs Cemetery in Marble City, under the direction of Agent Funeral home in Sallisaw. Mr. REDBIRD was born Oct. 23, 1936, in Marble City, to Jim and Hester (ROSIN) REDBIRD. He died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, in Sallisaw. Survivors include numerous cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Nadene COLE STEPHENS, 80, of Gore are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Webbers Falls, with the Rev. Glen Cox officiating. Burial is in Fields Cemetery in Porum, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls. Mrs. STEPHENS was born May 22, 1920, in Porum, to Albert and Lucy (NICHOLS) COLE. She died Wednesday,  Jan. 24, 2001, at the Gore Nursing Center. Survivors include her children, Frankie, Joe and peggy, Evelyn and Carroll, and Larry and Marilyn, Judy, Arlon and Wanda, Cole and Pearl, Sue, Don and Marie, and June ; one brother and sister-in-law, Arles and Virginia; one sister and brother-in-law, Alura and Charles; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clayton and Pauline, sister-in-law, Helen, son-in-law, Tommy; 26 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Mrs. STEPHENS was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pershing STEPHENS; one daughter, Kathy WARD; one sister, Joann COLE; and two brother, Jay Cole and A.E. COLE.
