Louis Wilson BOTT, 68, of Muldrow died on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, in Branson, Mo. He was born on Dec. 12, 1943, in Longbranch, N.J., to Frederick Wilson BOTT and Virginia Dawn CLUNEY. No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. He was a construction worker. Survivors include his companion, Freida McTAGGERT of the home; two daughters Debbie CHAPMAN of Muldrow and Pamela BOTT of Fort Smith, Ark.; one sister, Dawn VILLEGAS of Roland; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Lois GANTT DANIELS, 79, of Roland were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Roland City Cemetery with Ronnie Harrell officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. DANIELS was born on Feb. 19, 1932, in Van Buren, Ark., to Columbus Edward GANTT and Leona Almeda (COLE) GANTT. She died on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, in Roland. She was a self-employed housekeeper. She married Jerry DANIELS on Feb. 19, 1948, in Van Buren. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1977. Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl DANIELS-HOLT of Shawnee; one sister, Anna BARNES of Roland; one grandchild; and several other family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son, Frankie DANIELS, her parents, two sisters, Sulla PHILLIPS and Christine GANTT and two brothers, Curtis and Delbert GANTT. Pallbearers were Jerry Osborne, Larry Osborne, Terry Daniel, Nathan Earp, John Barnes and John Barnes Jr.
Funeral services for Norma Jo HILL, 84, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial is at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HILL was born on Aug. 2, 1927, in Akins to Josephus Dutch WHITWORTH and Sallie (STRICKLIN) WHITWORTH. She died on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker and retired from Ayers Furniture. Survivors include two sons, Roderick Alan HILL of Fort Smith and Gerald Don HILL of Greenwood, Ark.; four daughters, Melynda Gay POINDEXTER of Roland, Debra COLD and Sandra GIPSON, and Barbara McDANIEL, all of Fort Smith; and 24 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Edward HILL and Reginald Keith HILL, one daughter, Ladonna Gale HILL, her parents, one brother, Robert Dutch WHITWORTH and five sisters, Clara HORN, Zula FARRIS, Versa JOHNSON, Agness SASSER and Bernice OWENS.
Helen Bernice MYERS, 86, of Roland died on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was born on July 8, 1925, in Brent to Clarence FARGO and Edna (HUMBLE) FARGO. No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. MYERS was a homemaker. She married Raymond Adair MYERS on March 20, 1945, in Gans. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1990. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn LONG of Owasso; one son, Dickie MYERS of Muldrow; one sister, Rose SPARKMAN of Redland; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Clara POWELL and Lorene YOUNG.
Funeral services for David Wayne PALMORE, 47, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Webbers Falls under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. PALMORE was born on March 3, 1964, in Tucson, Ariz., to Homer Wayne PALMORE and Hazel Ann FAULKNER REDEMER. He died on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, in Tulsa. He was a truck driver. He married Velerie Louise MALONE on March 5, 2005, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Velerie PALMORE of the home; three daughters, Melissa KING and Lesley PALMORE, both of Oklahoma City and Peggy JURINA of Tuttle; unborn twins on the way; two stepdaughters, Delton HAMILTON and Charlene GILLEY, both of Webbers Falls; two stepsons, Shelton MALONE and Steven GILLEY, both of Webbers Falls; mother and stepfather, Ann and Vern REDEMER of Oklahoma City; father and stepmother, Homer and Ana PALMORE of Guthrie; one sister, Anna SMITH of Pelham, Ala.; one brother, Richard PALMORE of Wichita, Kan.; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mary Lorraine WEAVER, 73, of Gore will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at the First Assembly of God Church in Webbers Falls with the Rev. Wendell Cox officiating. Burial will be at White Cemetery in Gore under the direction of Millsap Funeral Services of Webbers Falls. Mrs. WEAVER was born on Aug. 11, 1938, in Pearsall, Texas, to John Hardy BENNETT and Mary Elizabeth (RICHTER) BENNETT. She died on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, in Tulsa. She married John Jackson Jack WEAVER on Nov. 25, 1956, in Dilley, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2005. She retired as a secretary from Haw Petroleum. She has lived in the area since 1981, and was member of Notchietown Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, John Jr. and fiancée, Melissa FISHER of Bartlesville; daughter, Pamela WILKINSON and husband, Barry of Gore; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara LANIER of Morgan City, La., and Jo Anne MOLINA of San Antonio, Texas. The viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Joyce Gail BALLARD, 63, of Muldrow will be held on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Maple Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow immediately following the service. Mr. BALLARD was born on Dec. 24, 1947, in Brownsville, Tenn., to Woodrow Wilson BALLARD and Myrtle Inez (LEGGETT) BALLARD. He died on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was a truck driver and belonged to the Teamsters Union. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of Vietnam and a member of Maple Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Gina (SAUER) BALLARD of the home; two sons, Keith and Brian BALLARD; four siblings, Martha, Betty, Cathy and Richard; brother-in-law, Joe and SAUER and wife, Linda; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services for Flora Jane CHOATE, 85, of Vian are being held at 10 a.m. at Box Cemetery in Vian with the Rev. Dale Ritter officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CHOATE was born on Sept. 26, 1926, in Prairie Grove, Ark., to John WEISS and Pearl (WHITE) WEISS. She died on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, in Vian. She was a homemaker. She married Cooie CHOATE on Jan. 14, 1967, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death on July 7, 2010. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Robert, Archie and Harvey WEISS.
Surrounded by family and friends, Sherry Diane MILLER COFFMAN died at her home on her 55th birthday, Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012. Her death brought an end to her five-year gallant battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was the daughter of the late Noah Don and Coleta June (McDONALD) MILLER. She believed the Seventh Day Adventist message. On June 15, 1975, she married her love, Rick COFFMAN. Born to this union were two sons, Erik and Jace COFFMAN. She was an enthusiastic baseball, football and basketball mom for her boys. She loved being Grandma to her three grandchildren. During her career, she worked in several different management fields including financing, banking and real estate. For the last eight and one-half years she felt very fortunate and blessed to work with Linda Dobbs as a secretary for the Sequoyah County Commissioners. She so loved and appreciated the women and men who worked in all positions at the courthouse, the county barns, etc. Sherry maintained a close relationship through the years with her school friends, previous employers and co-workers. After her diagnosis she worked with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition to educate women about how to recognize the potential signs of ovarian cancer, as every 37 minutes a woman dies from this disease. Surviving Sherry, are her husband, Rick of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Erik COFFMAN of the home and Jace and Amber COFFMAN of Roland; and grandchildren, Kiowa, Jocelyn and Kambrey. Other survivors include three sisters, and brothers-in-law, Joan and Steve STEPHENS of Cabot, Ark., June and Roger FLUTE of Sallisaw and Sue and Jim HENSON of Sallisaw; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Don MILLER and Charlie and Lena MILLER, of Sallisaw; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dortha Nell. Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with Pastor Vanoy Fitch officiating. Active pallbearers are Jimmy Dale Rogers, Ray Watts, Bruce Tabor, Ron Lockhart, Phil Harkreader and Sam Ed Bush Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Linda Dobbs, Michael Taylor, Jimmy Quackenbush, Sequoyah County Employees and her nieces and nephews. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family meeting from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Burial will be at Akins Cemetery.
Funeral services for Altha M. HAHN, 63, of Roland will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. HAHN was born on Aug. 9, 1948, in Prague to Ray MARKKULA and Helen (PARSONS) MARKKULA. She died on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, in Roland. She was a homemaker. She married John HAHN on Aug. 15, 1966, in Wewoka. Survivors include her husband, John of the home; one son, Mike HAHN of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Lisa REED of Caledonia, Miss.; one sister, Mary SCHUITT of Fort Kiowa, Texas; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Alma Sue HAYNES, 84, of Enid were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Thomas Haynes officiating. Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HAYNES was born on Aug. 9, 1927, in Tulsa to John Thomas LESTER and Hebe (FRANKLIN) LESTER. She died on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, in Enid. She was a retired telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone, after 22 years and retired from Coltec Automotive where she worked in quality control. She worked there for 16 years. She married Paul HAYNES on March 15, 1951, in Fort Smith, Ark. He preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 2010. Survivors include one daughter, Karen ENGLEMAN of Sapulpa; one son, Joe HAYNES of Enid; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Lillian Darlene PEARSON of Sallisaw was born on Oct. 27, 1954, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Obert D and Elva (GANN) KUYKENDALL and passed away on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 57. She is survived by her husband, Larry of the home; two daughters, Shawnda BAUHOF of Sallisaw and Barbara PEARSON of New York City, N.Y.; two sons, Corey PEARSON of Sallisaw and Douglas PEARSON of Moore; four sisters, Susie WILKINS and Betty Jane FLURRY, both of Van Buren, Ark., and Judy DEEDS and Barbara Kay MILLER, both of Fort Smith; one brother, Charlie KUYKENDALL of Gun Barrell, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter, Rachel PEARSON and one brother, Harold KUYKENDALL. She was a member of Women in Business, Chamber of Commerce, Pentecostal Faith, and a former member of Glad Tidings. She worked as a loan officer and Vice President at First National Bank for 21 years. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Faith Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Jerry Copeland and the Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Burial will follow in Fleetwood Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She died on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, in Poteau. Survivors include three daughters, Tammey JONES and husband, Lawrence, Pamela DUNN and husband Kenneth, all of Spiro and Betty HERRERA and husband, Jose of Fort Smith, Ark.; one son, Jackie PLUMMER and wife, Tammy of Poteau; one sister, Melinda ELAM and husband, Lewis of Poteau; half-sister, Shirley FISHER and husband, Bradley of Spiro; two brothers, Manley SELF and wife, Tealie of Wister and Billy SELF and wife, Martha of Cameron; half-brother, James LINDSEY of Branson, Mo.; her mother, of Spiro; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Terrance Lee RIDDLE, 47, of Muldrow died on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, in Muldrow. He was born on March 21, 1964, in Sacramento, Calif., to Finis Ray RIDDLE and Brenda Florence (POPE)RIDDLE. No formal service is planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Survivors include two daughters, Terri LEIGH and Cassey RIDDLE; two sons, Justin and Finis RIDDLE; seven grandchildren; his parents; two sisters, Raelynn RIDDLE and Donna HOFFMAN; two brothers, James RIDDLE and Danny HOFFMAN; and his grandmother.
Frank TAYLOR, 70, of Gans died on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born on Aug. 15, 1941, in Marble City to Leonard TAYLOR and Della Mae (CASEBOLT) TAYLOR. No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. TAYLOR was a heavy equipment operator. He married Carol Sue MURPHY on Nov. 13, 1975, in Sallisaw. Lymus BELL Jr., 59, of Alexander, Ark., formerly of Fort Smith, Ark., died on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, in a Little Rock hospital. He was a member of Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church and a conductor at Union Pacific Railroad. Funeral services are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery in Van Buren, Ark., under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. Survivors include two sons, Chris BELL of Little Rock and Bryon BELL of Roland; five sisters, Georgia COPELAND, Marcella POOLE, Hazel BELL, Rose MILLER and Lorene BELL, all of Fort Smith. Pallbearers are Steve Bell, Chris Knauls, Jerry Lee, Freddie Rosario, Rajhi Thompson, and Kendall Triplett.
Raymodeen GEE PHIPPS of Tulsa was born on Feb. 21, 1935, in Tucker to Eugene Franklin and Nada (SHARP) GEE and passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, in Tulsa. She is survived by her husband, Conley L. PHIPPS Sr., of the home; one son, Conley L. PHIPPS II and wife, Stephanie of Tulsa; one brother, Eugene Franklin GEE Jr. and wife, Nancy of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren, Mackenzie, and Trey and Mollie PHIPPS, all of Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents. She graduated from Spiro High School and Northeastern State University with a B.S. and M.S. in Education. She taught over 50 years in the Tulsa Public School system and was a reading specialist. She married Conley PHIPPS on Aug. 31, 1963, and was married 48 years. She enjoyed the arts and jazz, liked to travel, and was an avid basketball fan and her familys number one fan. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chapel in the Woods, Tulsa with the Rev. Dallas Caldwell and the Rev. Jason Gilbow officiating. Burial will follow in Sallisaw City Cemetery. Viewing will be at the Moores Southlawn Chapel in Tulsa, from noon to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services for John Paul JP RICHARDS, 86, are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mallory Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro. Burial is at Old Cache Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. RICHARDS was born on March 13, 1925, in Wapanucku to Paul and Effie Mae (GREEN) RICHARDS. He died on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was a veteran of World War II where he served as a medic. He worked at Keota Mill and Elevator for 27 years and later worked at Westark Church of Christ. He as an active HAM radio operator. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Lucille (AVERY) RICHARDS; three daughters, Joyce HARDIN and husband, Loyde and Shirley WASHBURN, all of Fort Smith and Carol SCOTT of Poteau; one son, Jerry RICHARDS and wife, Liz of Fort Smith; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a half-brother, David WHITAKER of Spiro. He was preceded in death by parents and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for George TERRELL, 34, of Gore were held at 2 p.m. Friday at White Chapel Cemetery with Howie Ferguson officiating. Mr. TERRELL was born on March 6, 1977, in Muskogee to Larry and Laquetta (TEAGUE) TERRELL. He died on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, in Gore. He was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as an equipment operator in road construction. Survivors include his parents, of the home; sister, Tina MUGLESTON of Gore; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Pallbearers were Scott Millsap, Donnie Shivel, Greg Boham, Ronnie White, Jim Mayes, Jesse Shanks and Mitchell Shanks.
Damon Thomas WALKER, 38-year-old Muskogee resident tragically passed away on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011. Damon was born on Friday, Aug. 10, 1973, in Norman to Lt. Colonel Larry WALKER and Jolene (DIXON) WALKER. Damon graduated in 1992 from the Roland High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. Damon served proudly in the U.S. Army; he was a member of the prestigious Old Guard Regiment, which walked the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery. Damon worked as a commercial appraiser, but was known for his love of animals. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Leva Lee DIXON, Vernon and Dovie WALKER, two aunts, an uncle, and two cousins. Damon is lovingly survived by his mother, Jolene WALKER WADDINGTON and husband, David of Norman; his father, retired Lt. Colonel Larry WALKER of Panama; two sisters, Heather FRONHEISER and husband, Joey of Forest, Va., and Jennifer HIRTZEL and husband, Jameson of Tulsa; three nephews, Jack FRONHEISER, Luke FRONHEISER and Maddox HIRTZEL; one niece, Brittany FRONHEISER; along with many friends and loved ones. In honoring the life of Damon, in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in his memory to the Second Chance Animal Sanctuary, Inc., 4500 24th Ave. NW, Norman, OK 73071. Mr. CAREY was born on May 23, 1936, in Ticonderoga, N.Y., to James Frances CAREY and Helen (POWVORZNIK) CAREY. He died on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, in Sallisaw. He worked in landscaping and yard work for a winery in California. He married Lou Ann HOGNER on July 8, 1982, in Virginia City, Nev. Survivors include his wife, Lou Ann CAREY of the home; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers were family members and friends.

Mr. CHANCE was born on Dec. 7, 1962, in Tulare, Calif., to Les CHANCE and Virginia CHANCE. He died on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, in Spiro. He was a farm laborer and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife, Nancy (ALTHOUSE) CHANCE of the home; one daughter, Anna CHANCE of Spiro; one son Joe CHANCE and Wife, Sasha of Pocola; three sisters, Sue CHRISTENBERRY of Keota and Faye TIPTON and Debbie FONDREN, both of Spiro; two brothers, Dennis CHANCE and Wilbur CHANCE, both of Spiro; and five grandchildren. He was a retired high school teacher at Sallisaw High School and served 18 years as a Sallisaw City Councilman. He married Meldona Faye BAGLEY on Aug. 31, 1952. She preceded him in death on Dec. 1, 1992. Survivors include one daughter, Debra WALTON of Gore; two son, Tim RANDOLPH and Joe RANDOLPH, both of Sallisaw; one sister, Joyce OGDON of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Boyce RANDOLPH of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Mike WALTON. Captain Roger Lee GRUNDEN, formerly of Vian, was born on June 17, 1954, in Omaha, Neb., to Joyce COLLINS and was called to his eternal home on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 57. He gracefully and peacefully exited this world surrounded by those that love him. Captain Roger was a U.S. Merchant Marine officer. He worked as a crew boat captain for Parker Drilling for 16 years. Captain Roger was a resident of Rockport, Texas and a member of the First Baptist Church of Holiday Beach. This ordinary man had an extraordinary story and inspired many by his courage, strength, determination and love for life. He will be sincerely missed. Survivors include his mother, Joyce COLLINS of Vian; his wife, Alieta of the home; two daughters, Melody ASHLEY and husband, Michael of Rockport and Amber BROWN and husband, Eric of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Twila GRUNDEN JOHNSTON of Jacksonville, Fla., Shirley GRUNDEN ELLIS of Broken Arrow and Rahnaee FOX of Vian; one brother, Robert FOX of Broken Arrow; one brother-in-law, Bub MILLER (whom he loved as a brother); four grandchildren and one on the way, Megan ASHLEY, Michael ASHLEY II, Diamond SMITH, Eric SMITH II and Little Alieta SMITH. Louisa CIRELLI of Sallisaw, formerly of Lafayette, N.J. and Brockton, Mass., was born on Thursday, Oct. 3, 1918, in Brockton to Eugene and Mary (SILVESTRI) SYLVESTER and passed away, peacefully at home, on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, in Sallisaw at the age of 93. She is survived by one daughter, Marie CIRELLI of Sallisaw; family members, George, Auilda and Ciara BAEZ, of the home; one brother, Nicholas SYLVESTER of Brockton; and several nieces and nephews in Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 years, Victor L. CIRELLI , one son, Daniel L. CIRELLI, one brother, Tony and one sister, Caroline. She loved to oil paint, do pencil drawings, cook and sew. She graduated from Brockton High School in 1936, and finished Williams School of Business in 1937. Most of her life she was a bookkeeper for a variety of businesses. She loved to travel with her husband and son to Italy, Ireland, England and spending summers on Cape Cod. Stephen Bryan FOSTER was born on April 24, 1944, in Anderson, Ind. He passed away at the age of 67 with his family at his side on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, in Edmond. He was born the son of Bill FOSTER and Dorisjean (MILLER) FOSTER MONEYHUN. He married Margaret Faye BARNES on Aug. 5, 1962. He graduated in 1961 from the Laurelbrook School in Dayton, Tenn. he received his bachelors degree in education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. He joined the U.S. Navy in Indianapolis, Ind. After 20 years of service he retired as a Chief Petty Officer Corpsman Navy Diver. He enjoyed a second career working with the Oklahoma Historical Society at Sequoyahs Home site in Sallisaw, where he enjoyed giving everyone information about Sequoyah and the Cherokee Indians. He never met a stranger and he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Survivors include his wife, Margaret FOSTER of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Bryan II and Laurie of McAlester; and one daughter, Darlene Kay FOSTER M.D. of Edmond; six grandchildren, Jame, Keifer, Bryan, Ashley and twins, Alexandra and Emmerson; along with many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Susan Kay DELONG, brother-in-law, Robert DELONG, uncle Max MILLER, aunt, Peggy MILLER and cousin, Connie MILLER. Survivors include one son, Richie BOOKER of Tucker, Ga.; his mother, Emogene SMITH; three brothers, Robert, Mike and Daryl; and two sisters, Candace and Rita.
Graveside services for Claudia JONES, 93, of Gore will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at McGee Cemetery in Stratford with the Rev. Wendell Cox officiating under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mrs. JONES was born on Aug. 26, 1918, in Konawa to William and Letty Caroline (INGRAM) AYERS. She died on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, in Gore She was a homemaker and had lived in the area the past 15 years. Survivors include daughters, Judy THOMAS and Bob of Vian and Dorothy RUNYAN and Brenda MALLOY, both of Gore; sons, Kenneth MALLOY of Sulphur and Larry MALLOY and Ellen of El Reno; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Leon Buddy AYRES of Bethany; one sister, Peggy STONE of Oklahoma City; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, James William MALLOY and Charles MALLOY, two grandchildren; two brothers, U.L. AYRES and Sanford AYRES, and three sisters, Birtie LaCLAIRE, Lorene PREWITT and Mary NICHOLS.
Memorial services for Jamie L. McCALLISTER will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Journey Church in Sallisaw with Bro. Jim Grounds, of New Beginnings Church in Duncan, officiating. Jamie is survived by her mother, Sharon MITCHELL; sisters, Amy HOFFMAN and Sharolyn Pnut CHAMBERLAIN; and brother, Joe HALL; son, James ONTMAN; and three daughters, JaNell BORMAN, Michele ADAMS and Jackie POINDEXTER; seven grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Jamie is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ray McCALLISTER II, brother, Neal Earnest HALL and grandson, Trooper Lee HENDERSON. Jamie was an amazing mother who was well loved by many. She will be greatly missed! Jamie enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with her kids and grandkids and taking care of an elderly lady, Mrs. Reba. She loved lighthouses, Point Loma being her favorite. Jamie was a great friend to many and this world just wont be the same without her.
Funeral services for Christine Allen McGLOTHLIN, 79, of Gore are being held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Revs. Rick Harris and Wendell Cox officiating. Burial is at Maple Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. McGLOTHLIN was born on Aug. 12, 1932, in Sequoyah County to Horace ALLEN and Susie (PALMER) ALLEN. She died on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, in Gore. She worked at Griffins Dairy Cup and Bucks Flower Basket. She married Billy Wade McGLOTHLIN on Jan. 8, 1951, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 2008. Survivors include one daughter, Betty HARRIS of Fort Gibson; two sons, Jerrel McGLOTHLIN of Sallisaw and Kenneth McGLOTHLIN of Muskogee; four sisters, Ruth JAMISON and Cherokee BARNES, both of Sallisaw, Wanda BRYAN of Catoosa and Sue ALLEN of Tulsa; two brothers, Horace ALLEN of Owasso and Jerrel ALLEN of Butler, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers are Greg Bryan, Dwayne Jones, Rickey Harris, James Harris, Michael McGlothlin, Robert Jones, Kelvin Jamison, Mike Jamison and Mark Jamison.

Mrs. ROBERTSON was born on June 3, 1943, in Tahlequah to Redflag SMITH and Betsy Ann (CHEUIE) SMITH. She died on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, in Tulsa. She was a retired LPN. She married Robert Dale ROBERTSON on Sept. 9, 1961, in Stilwell. Survivors include her husband, Bob of the home; one daughter, Karma KING of Blackgum; three sisters, Clara HARDIN of Blackgum, Leota GARRETT of Edmond and Bonnie BYERS of Tulsa; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jeff ROBERTSON, and four brothers, Jerry, Jimmy and Brady SMITH and Leroy HENRY.
Graveside services for U.J. Smokey STOVER, 79, of Wilmington, Ill., formerly of Gore, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gore Cemetery with Chaplain Lee Griffith officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 15 under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. Stover was born on July 5, 1932, in Livingston, Tenn., to Carnis and Claris A. (PRYOR) STOVER. He died on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, in Maywood, Ill. He worked as a mechanic at several manufacturing plants, and was the former owner and operator of Stovers General Store in Lorenzo from 1976 to 1985. He was a lifelong member of the Wilmington V.F.W. and enjoyed fishing, raising birds and collecting coins. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his son, Michael and Traci STOVER of Wilmington; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Riley and Barb STOVER; three sisters, Anna and Larry KISNER, Judy and James BOYD and U. DEAN and Kenny TAUL; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gwen A. (BLACKBURN) STOVER, daughter, Debra Lynn HEPP, two brothers, Corbert STOVER and one in infancy and a granddaughter.
Funeral services for Essie Helen WEBB, 91, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating. Burial was at Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WEBB was born on Jan. 10, 1921, in Sallisaw to James Henry ISENHOOVER and Myrtle LaVinna (ARMSTRONG) RISENHOOVER. She died on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, in Sallisaw. She was a homemaker and worked at Rheem. Survivors include three sons, Larry WEBB and Terry Dale WEBB, both of Sallisaw and Ronnie WEBB of Roland; one brother, Virgle W. DIFFEE of Texas; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Garry WEBB and four brothers, Richard, Marion, George and Kenneth RISENHOOVER. Pallbearers were her grandsons.

Funeral services for Roy June EUBANKS Jr., 86, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Fort Coffee. Burial will be at Fort Coffee Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. EUBANKS was born on Jan. 25, 1925, in Fort Coffee to Roy EUBANKS and Vermer (BROWN) EUBANKS . He died on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. He worked in construction and was a member of Mt. Triumph Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Caroline and Sandis WILLIAMS of Edmond and Jeannette and Wilbur FISHER of Chandler, Ariz.; one son, Herbert and Cheryl DERRICOTT of Lawton; one sister, Alberta EUBANKS-THOMAS of Fort Smith; brother-in-law, Wesley STEELE of Fort Coffee; sister-in-law, Arzoria STEELE of Fort Coffee; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Raymond EUBANKS and sons, Curtis, Sanders, Larry and Roscoe DERRICOTT.
