Funeral services for Alma J. DOBBS, 76, of McKey, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with Rev. Shawn Caldwell, Wyman Dobbs, Steve Dobbs, Keith Dobbs and Jo Alice Dobbs officiating. Burial was in the Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. DOBBS was born June 12, 1932, in Campbell, Mo., to Ralph IRBY and Ninnie Jewel (BATEMAN) IRBY. She died Saturday, June 28, 2008, in Sallisaw. She married Orville Harold DOBBS, Oct. 30, 1953, in Pontiac, Mich. He preceded her in death, March 5, 1992, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Jo Alice; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Kyle; five grandchildren; mother, Ninnie IRBY; one brother and sister-in-law, Devaun and Dorothy; one nephew; one niece; two great-nieces; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Carl HAGY, 41, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial was in Oak Cemetery, in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mr. HAGY was born July 4, 1966, in Fort Smith. Survivors include four daughters, DaCreisha and her husband, Juan, Cari and her husband, Leon, and Latoya, and Ashley; one son, Carl Jr.; two sisters, Nora and her husband, B. J., and Martha and her husband, Mark; two half-sisters, Debbie and Lovena; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl HAGY and Barbara BOSLEY, three sisters, Loretta HAGY, Carla HAGY and Lenora HAGY, one brother, Dewayne HAGY and his first wife, Paula HAGY.

Funeral services for Margarine "Puddin" HOLDER, 94, of Vian, are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Vian United Methodist Church with the Rev. Len McCarty officiating. Burial is in the Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HOLDER was born March 19, 1914, in Pottsville, Ark., to Henry Gordon HAMILTON and Mary Cora (MARTIN) HAMILTON. She died Monday, June 30, 2008, in Vian. She married Leon "Monk" HOLDER, Jan. 18, 1934, in Eufaula. He preceded her in death, June 26, 2008, in Vian. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dr. Tommy; one son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Rose; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Louise HARRISON and Euleta SMITH and five brothers, Clyde, William Carl, Fred Gordon, Raymond and J.D. HAMILTON.

Funeral services for Arvil "Johnson" JOHNSON, 88, of Fort Smith, Ark., formerly of Roland, are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Barham officiating. Burial is in Forest Park Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. JOHNSON was born Nov. 25, 1919, in Clarksville, Ark., to Clyde and Edna (EARLE) JOHNSON. He died Thursday, June 26, 2008. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; one daughter, Donna Raye; two sons, Ron and Bill; one brother, Richard; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Rhonda Lynn (HOLT) KUYKENDALL, 42, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow with Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. KUYKENDALL was born Sept. 25, 1965, in Ozark, Ark., to William Clarence "Jack" HOLT Jr. and Asentha Freda (LANGLEY) BARNES. She died Thursday, June 26, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Chelsey; one son, Adam; one grandchild; four sisters, Sheila, Juanita and her husband, Joe, Vera, and Sara; four brothers, Clay, Brian, Scott and Mark; three nieces; two nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charley HOLT.  

Graveside services for Bill LITTLE, 63, of Park Hill, are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson with Pastor Marilyn Schellhamer officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. LITTLE was born Jan. 16, 1945, in Goodland, Kan., to Lawrence Earl "Larry" LITTLE and Dorothy Elizabeth (DEARDORF) LITTLE. He died Saturday, June 28, 2008, in Park Hill. He married Martha Judith WATSON, Feb. 5, 1965, in Chase, Kan.  Survivors include his wife, Martha of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Ronnie, Kala and Chuck; one son and daughter-in-law, Heath and Tracy; parents, Larry and Dorothy LITTLE; one sister, Pat; one brother, Scott; six grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for George Alan MORTON, 36, of Sallisaw, are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial is in Dwight Mission Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. MORTON was born July 4, 1971, in Muskogee, to Robert MORTON and Carol LOONEY. He died Sunday, June 29, 2008, in Tulsa. Survivors include one sister, Johnna and her husband, Billy; one brother, Bobby and his wife, Cindy; and mother, Carol. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert MORTON.

Mary Pauline Ross SAPPINGTON, 81, of Webbers Falls, was born May 8, 1927, in Webbers Falls, to Virgie Lee (HART) ROSS and Andrew Jackson "Cotton" ROSS. She died Friday, June 27, 2008. Arrangements for services were under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. She married Ellis SAPPINGTON, May 24, 1956. Survivors include her husband, Ellis L. SAPPINGTON; daughters, Judy and her husband, Dr. Greg, and Mary Lee and her husband, Frank; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill and his wife, Wanda, Robert and his wife, Modean, Virgil and his wife, Jerri,  and James Ed and his wife, Nancy; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jean Ann CALVERT.

Funeral services for Artie "Jiggs" STAMPS, 95, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial was in Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Homes, Inc. of Van Buren. Mrs. Stamps was born April 8, 1913, in Rena, to Sam and Margaret Joann "Maggi" (Kiser) STAMPS. She died Saturday, June 28, 2008, in a local hospital. Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Frances and her husband, Don, Linda, Joann, Peggy and her husband, Bill, Kitty, and Janice, Bill and his wife, Betty, Jerry and his wife, Jeannie, Rita and her husband, Leonard, Nell, Mary, Ted and his wife Sandra, and Fred and wife, Mary.

Rosary services for Keith FALLEUR, 40, of Roland, were held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Mass is being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial is at the Holy Cross Cemetery, under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith. Mr. FALLEUR died Monday, June 30, 2008, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his daughter, Trista and his son, Ethan; parents, Joe and Gerry FALLEUR; one sister, Anne; four brothers, Mark, Joe, Bill and Philip; and his maternal grandfather, Bernard MARTIN.  

Funeral services for Ernest Levi GREEN, 65, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Blunt Baptist Church, north of Sallisaw, with the Revs. Johnny Watkins and Tommy Hawkins officiating. Burial was in the Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. GREEN was born Oct. 28, 1942, in Drakes Prairie, to George Roscoe GREEN and JoElla (HARVEY) GREEN. He died Monday, June 30, 2008, in Sallisaw. He married Delores PETERSON, Dec. 31, 1974, in Poteau. Survivors include his wife, Delores of the home; five daughters and two sons-in-law, Shannon and Jackie, Jessica and Eric, Emily, Julie and Aelicia; 11 grandchildren; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Bill, Diane and Kenny, Angie and Ron, and Fondia and John, and Lisa and Robert.; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Norman, and Marshall and Joy; his mother, JoElla GREEN; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Charles Allen GREEN in 2005.

Funeral services for Betty Jean GREER, 93, of Mansfield, Texas, formerly of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta with the Rev. Tommy Higle officiating. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Marietta. Mrs. GREER was born July 26, 1914, in Haileyville to John Richard and Jennie (McCONNELL) MOONEY TAYLOR. She died Tuesday, July, July 1, 2008, in Mansfield. She married Charles Albert GREER on Dec. 29, 1934, in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1996. Survivors include two granddaughters; five grandsons; and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Charles Larry GREER, one daughter, Judy SEGLER and one sister, Lu SMITH.

Funeral services for Mary Elaine "Mema" GUNSOLUS PRUITT, 58, of Vian, are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating. Burial is in Akins Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. PRUITT was born Feb. 18, 1950, in Ardmore, to Harold Silas GUNSOLUS and Darlene (GREENWAY) GUNSOLUS. She died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, in Vian. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Edward and Christy, and Gary Lee and Gala; six grandchildren; one sister, Donna; four brothers, Harold, Joe, Jerry and Rick; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private graveside service for Zandra Joyce ANDREWS, 64, of Barling, Ark., was held at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. ANDREWS was born Dec. 13, 1943, in California, to Orvel Lamar NELSON and Irene Juanita SHANK. She died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in Fort Smith. She married Douglas Mac ANDREWS, Nov. 17, 1962, in Kentucky. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Douglas Mac ANDREWS of Barling; sister, Mary; two daughters, Katherine Dawn and her husband, Denton Rosswll, and Katherine Dawn and her husband, James Dean; three sons, Jeffrey David and his wife, Tammy SUED; and Daniel Keith and his wife, Melissa Renee, and their children, 13 grandchildren;six great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Gary Wayne NELSON and her daughter Deborah Susan.

Ronald W. BEESLEY, 54, of Van Buren, Ark., died on Thursday, June 26, 2008, in Van Buren. No formal service is planned and cremation was under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. BEESLEY was born Oct. 22, 1953, in Oklahoma. Survivors include his son, Randy; and two step-sons, Joseph and Kenny; and one grandchild.

Graveside services for Robert J. CAPPS, 87, of Sallisaw, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. CAPPS was born May 8, 1921, to Herman Ezra CAPPS and Virginia Lee (GILLIAM) CAPPS. He died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one sister, Elinor Mary; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services for Watt Charles CHEATER, 94, of Marble City, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Marble City Schools Gymnasium in Marble City with the Rev. Clifton Pettit officiating. Burial is in Flute Springs Cemetery, in Marble City, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. CHEATER was born July 27, 1913, in Jay, to Joe CHEATER and Gayhohi CHEATER. He died Monday, July 7, 2008, in Marble City. He married Daisy Mae CHUCULATE. She preceded him in death, May 10, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Ada; two sons, Jerry and Robert; six step-daughters, Ruby, Carilyn, Lucy, Nellie, Pauline, and Bobbie; three step-sons, Watie, and Jess and Walker; 45 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Cricket . He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Louanna CHEATER, two sons, George and Johnny CHEATER, one sister, Donnie CHEATER and four brothers, Jack, Dave and William CHEATER and Levi WATERMELON.

Graveside services for Mary Lea SCOTT HARR, 71, of Sallisaw, were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sallisaw City Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Zinck officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HARR was born Sept. 3, 1936, in Sallisaw, to R. Guy SCOTT and Mary L. RIGSBY. She died Thursday, July 3, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one aunt, Emma; and several cousins and other relatives and friends.

Private burial service for Anton JELEN Jr., 85, of Roland, was held at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. JELEN died Friday, July 4, 2008, in a local hospital. Survivors include three daughters, Joan, Marty, and Carol; one son, James; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Burial was in Washington Cemetery, in Fort Smith, under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. Mrs. JONES was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Barling, Ark., to John Henry SHEPPARD and Daisy Mae (LINCOLN) SHEPPARD. She died Saturday, June 28, 2008, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa; sons, Willie, James, Marvin and Michael; sisters, Flossie, Dovie and Dorothy; brother, Benny; sister, Eunice; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. JONES.

Mrs. NICHOLS was born Jan. 12, 1954, in Dos Palos, Calif., to Benjamin Franklin MILLER and Lillie (PARTHENA) BRENDLE. She died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Carl Junior NICHOLS, April 10, 1972, in Murphy, N.C. Survivors include her husband, Carl Junior of the home; two daughters, Liberty and her husband, Jose, and Brenda and her husband, Ricky; two sons, Carl Benjamin Lee and his wife, Sabrina, and Wyatt Scott; two granddaughters; four grandsons; two sisters, Betty and Charlotte; and two brothers, George Benjamin and Andrew. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Laquita YATES and Faye WHITE and one brother, Benny MILLER.

Mrs. OLIVE was born July 15, 1966, in Dallas, Texas, to Gene Loyd JOHNSTON and Sue (ELLISON) JOHNSTON. She died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Michael OLIVE of the home; two daughters, Victoria and Bobbie; one son, Adam; three sisters; three brothers; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.

Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. RICHARDSON was born Oct. 29, 1946, in Brushy, to Theodore RICHARDSON and Jewel Long. He died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Sallisaw. He married Pat RICHARDSON, May 17, 1989, in Van Buren, Ark. She preceded him in death Oct. 10, 1989, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son, Michael; one daughter, Deanna and her husband, Kevin; three granddaughters; one brother, Kevin; two step-brothers, Carl and Keith; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for John Bill TAYLOR, 83, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw with the Rev. Jim Murphy officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. TAYLOR was born May 23, 1925, in Sallisaw, to Mark H. TAYLOR and Florence (DIAL) TAYLOR. He died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. Taylor was a longtime educator and of the Protestant faith. He married Ruth Helen MERRILL in Bakerfield, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Ruth of the home; two daughters, Pamela and her husband, Goodlow, and Paula; three grandchildren; one sister, Carlotta; two brothers, Orman and Glenn; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial is in New Hope Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mrs. BIRCHFIELD was born Jan. 2, 1921, in Cauthron, Ark., to Joseph MOTT and Gatha Jonny (WEBB) MOTT. She died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in Spiro. Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Odell, Mabel and Louise; three brothers, Dewey L. and his wife, Betty, Dewayne J. and his wife, Barbara, and Dail H. and his wife, Sue; two granddaughters and Ingrid; three grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sherman BIRCHFIELD, twin sons, Harmon Dean and Arnold Gene, one granddaughter, Bridget BIRCHFIELD and two sisters and four brothers.

Graveside services for Russell Edward MYERS Sr., 89, of Sallisaw, are being held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Sallisaw Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. MYERS was born June 27, 1919, in Van Buren, Ark., to Robbie and W.F. MYERS. He died Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Survivors include his daughter, Charlotte and her husband, Pat; one sister, Sophie; two granddaughters; one grandson; one great-grandchild; step-children, Donna and her husband, John, and Brad and his wife, Linda. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, his first wife, Carrie Louise MYERS, who passed away in 1988 and his late wife, Laverna POWELL MYERS, who passed away in 2006 and one son, Russell "Eddie" MYERS Jr. in 2005.

Graveside services for Geneva Ann DAVIS WILEY, 71, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Brent Cemetery, south of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Mike Glass officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. Wiley was born April 9, 1937, in Sequoyah County, to Cecil DAVIS and Dicie GANTT. She died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Sallisaw. Survivors include three daughters, Trenna, Karen and Dana; one son, John; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Margie and her husband, Paul; two sisters-in-law, Louise and Lavonne; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold HONEYCUTT, two sons, Lonnie Wayne and James Lewis HONEYCUTT, her parents, one brother, C.C. DAVIS and one sister, Louise FULLER.

Homer Rich officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. BOYD was born Jan. 8, 1932, in Tahlequah, to Steven Edgar BOYD and Esta Opal (MORRIS) BOYD CHAMBERS. He died Sunday, July 13, 2008, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Velma Doris ROGERS, Nov. 28, 1952, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Velma of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Chuck, and Phyllis and Steve; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Marilyn; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Donald, and Alma and Fred; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Thelma; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Steven Bradley BOYD, one sister, Helen BOYD and one brother, Curtis BOYD Sr.

Graveside services for Lawrence Peter BUKOWSKI, 67, of Sallisaw, are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., with the Rev. Robert Polvado officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. BUKOWSKI was born Dec. 30, 1940, in Baltimore, Md., to Peter BUKOWSKI and Josephine (WATROBA) BUKOWSKI. He died Sunday, July 13, 2008, in Sallisaw. He married Linda Kathryn BARNES, Sept. 26, 1964, in Santa Rosa, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; one daughter, Leslie; one son, Lance; two grandchildren; one sister, Joann; and several other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for June Bernice CHANDLER, 80, of Roland, are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Bill Adcock officiating. Burial is in Redland Cemetery, west of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. CANDLER was born June 8, 1928, in Ogdon, Ark., to William Joseph ARNETT and Maud Demerice (HOOVER) ARNETT. She died Sunday, July 13, 2008, in Roland. She married Orville A. CHANDLER Sr., March 21, 1947, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death, Sept. 18, 1988, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Rosemary ; one son, Orville A. Jr.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, John; and several other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. LEDFORD was born Jan. 9, 1931, in Lavaca, Ark., to Ed SHEPARD and Elizabeth (BREWER) SHEPARD. She died Monday, July 28, 2008, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Charley LEDFORD of the home; one daughter, Vicky and her husband, Mike; three sons, Norman, Richard and his wife, Janet, and Wayne; one brother, Doyle; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Agnes BARNES and one brother, Gerald SHEPARD.

Funeral services for Leah LOCUST, 66, of Vian, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with the Revs. Kenneth Lewis and Allison Phillips officiating. Burial was in Barnoskie Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. LOCUST was born Aug. 25, 1941, in Madill, to Thomas UNDERWOOD and Fannie MAYTUBBY. She died Friday, July 25, 2008, in Vian. Survivors include George; two daughters, Janice and her husband, Sonny, Clara and her husband, Charles; four sons, Darrell and companion, Alma, Danny, and Abraham Jr., and Brian and companion, LaDonna; one sister, Ruth; one brother, Calvin and his wife, Pat; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Daniel MEELY and Abraham LOCUST, one son, James MEELY and one granddaughter, Janessa GORD.

Funeral services for Margaret Ellen WHITMER MORGAN, 87, of Muldrow, are being held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Braxton Bigot officiating. Burial is in Muldrow Memory Garden, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. MORGAN was born Dec. 10, 1920, in Arkoma, to Clem Grover WHITMER and Fannie Alice (ALLEN) WHITMER. She died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, in Van Buren, Ark. She married James Floyd MORGAN, Aug. 26, 1939, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death, May 23, 1992, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Nancy and Charles CRAMM of Bella Vista, Ark., Linda and Buddy, Mary, and Betty; three sisters-in-law, Velma, Marie and her husband, J.W., and Muriel; four brothers-in-law, Junior, Donald, Harold and Jack; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ben David MORGAN, parents, one sister, Nellie KUHN and two brothers, Millard and Glenn WHITMER.

Funeral services for Jerry NEIGHBORS, 63, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Uniontown Baptist Church in Uniontown, Ark. with the Rev. Mark Thornbrugh officiating. Burial was in Seabolt Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. NEIGHBORS was born Jan. 18, 1945, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Arley NEIGHBORS and Sallie (MATTHEWS) NEIGHBORS. He died Friday, July 25, 2008, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his mother; three sons, Jeff, Keith and Jay; four sisters, Sue, Mary, Ruthie and Tammy; two brothers, Arley and Roy; two grandsons; and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services for Glen W. RUSSELL, 76, of Independence, Mo., were held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008, at the Mt. Washington Forever Mausoleum Chapel in Independence, under the direction of Mt. Washington Forever Funeral Home of Independence. Mr. RUSSELL died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in Independence. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Carolyn RUSSELL; three sons, Michael W. and his wife, Gloria, Denny G. and his wife, Marti, and Robin S.; brothers and sisters, Leonard, Hayden, Richard, Garland, Daphine, Maxine, Donna, Terry, Lola and Fern all of Muldrow; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren/ He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Jewel RUSSELL and one brother, Cecil RUSSELL.

Funeral services for Floyd Edward "Eddie" SHERFIELD, 54, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Solid Rock Pentecostal Church of God in Panama with the Revs. Billy Goins and Everett Morris officiating. Burial is in New hope Cemetery, in Spiro, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola. Mr. SHERFIELD was born Aug. 31, 1953, in Poteau. He died Saturday, July 26, 2008, in Pocola. Survivors include three daughters, Carrie and her husband, Dean, Regina and her husband, Chip, and Laura and her husband, Josh; one son, Joshua and Violet; four sisters, Geneve, Renee, Gina and Julie; five brothers, Allen, Wayne, Leon, Andy Ray and Gary; step-mother, Virginia SHERFIELD; seven grandchildren and two more on the way; special friends, Leslie, Dewayne, David and Keith; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Dortha (FRENCH) SHERFIELD and two brothers, Thomas Lee HOBBS and Michael SHERFIELD.

Memorial services for Jerry Lee WILLIAMS, 54, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Millsap Chapel in Webbers Falls with Bro. Russell Sanders officiating, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. WILLIAMS was born Dec. 7, 1953, in Muskogee, to Carl Edward and Mildred Irene (THOMAS) WILLIAMS. He died Thursday, July 24, 2008, in Sallisaw. He married Sheryl LAMBERT, May 6, 1993, in Eureka Springs. Survivors include his wife, Sheryl of the home; three children, Eric J., Justin M. and Deidre; five grandchildren; sister, Phyllis; and brother, Keith. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Evelyn "Tootsie" CASEBOLDT.
