Services for Jack CUPPY Jr., 24, of Moore are being held Thursday, July 22, at 10 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day saints, Oklahoma City. Burial follows in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Bill Merritt Funeral Home in Oklahoma City. Mr. CUPPY was born to Jack and Betty CUPPY on Dec. 3, 1957, in Oklahoma City. He died Sunday, July 18. He and his wife, the former Stephanie KENNEDY, were married Dec. 18, 1981, in the Temple of the Latter-Day Saints in Salt Lake City, Utah. She survives. Other survivors include the parents; a sister, Terri; and the grandparents, Lenora CUPPY and Amos and Lurline FISHBACK.

Services for Mackie Burnell PETERS of Muldrow were held Monday, July 19, at 2 p.m. in the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Buster Whisenhunt officiating. Burial followed in the Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. PETERS was born to Ben Franklin PETERS and Dona McGLOTHLIN PETERS on March 29, 1935, in New Hope. He died at Muskogee on Friday, July 16, at the age of 47.  Survivors include one daughter, Rhoda; two sons, Glenn and Stephen; the mother, Dona PETERS; one brother, Eugene; three sisters, Florence, Shirley and Mary Sue; and one grandchild.

Funeral services for Richard Herschel STUMBAUGH of Muldrow were held Tuesday, July 20, at 2 p.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church in Muldrow with the Rev. Raymond Howard and the Rev. David Plemmons officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. STUMBAUGH was born to Ira Neal STUMBAUGH and Dora RUSK STUMBAUGH on Dec. 28, 1893, in Johnson County, Ark. He died at home on Sunday, July 18, at the age of 88. He and his wife, the former Ora Ruth SPERRY, were married Sept. 3, 1916, in Morrilton, Ark. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Ora Opal; one son, Richard H.; eight grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Johnie.

Services for Eva Mae THOMAS of Gore were held Monday, July 19, at 10 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Gore with the Rev. William Armstrong and the Rev. Steve Lopp officiating. Interment was in the White Chapel Cemetery under direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs.. THOMAS was born to Sam ORE and Angeline TYNER ORE on June 22, 1900, in Gore. She died on Friday, July 16, at the age of 82. Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie, Leona, Crystal and Ruth.; two sons, Ray and Gordon; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services for Billy Ray HEATHCOCK, of Gans are being held Thursday, July 29, at 2 p.m. in the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Joe Fowler officiating. Burial follows in the Gans City Cemetery under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home. Mr. HEATHCOCK was born to the late Thomas Franklin HEATHCOCK and Bessie ENGLAND HEATHCOCK on Dec. 9, 1951, in Gans. He died in Alvin, Texas, on Sunday, July 25, at the age of 30. Survivors include four sisters, Ruth, Rubye, Sarah, and Mary; two brothers, Franklin and Raymond; and 17 nieces and nephews.

Services for Thomas Franklin HEATHCOCK of Gans were held Monday, July 26, at 2 p.m. in the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Joe Fowler officiating. Burial was in the Gans City Cemetery under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. HEATHCOCK was born to Will HEATHCOCK and Mary MATTINGLY HEATHCOCK on Oct. 1, 1912, in Gans. He died in Spiro on Thursday, July 22, at the age of 69. Survivors include three daughters, Ruby, Sarah, and Mary; one step-daughter, Ruth; two sons, Franklin and Raymond; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services for Cora Mae McCONNELL of Muldrow were held Monday, July 26, at 10 a.m. in the Muldrow Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Kenneth Linn and the Rev. Ray Hood officiating. Burial followed in the Akins Cemetery under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. McCONNELL was born to John Doss SHARP and Ida Mae COTNER SHARP on June 9, 1916, in Uniontown, Ark. She died at Muldrow on Friday, July 23, at the age of 66.  Mrs. McCONNELL and her husband, Creager Edgar McCONNELL were married May 17, 1934, in Sallisaw. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Sue and Saundra; two sons, Wayne and Jerry; two sisters, Viola and Minnie; and one brother, Houston.

Services for George Lee TUCK of Moffett were held Tuesday, July 27, at 2 p.m. in the Woodland Hills Pentecostal Church in Roland with the Rev. Homer Osborne and the Rev. Ben Kirk officiating. Burial was in the Buffington Cemetery under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. TUCK was born to Dawson Albert TUCK and Lucy Lee HARMON TUCK on May 27, 1911, in Sallisaw. He died on Friday, July 23, at the age of 71. He and his wife, the former Retha Jo JOHNSON were married Sept. 19, 1938, in Sallisaw. She preceded her husband in death. Survivors include five daughters, Reba, Ruby, Orphia, Patricia and Brenda; five sons, Marlin, Jerry, Carl Lee, Ronnie, and Terry; 28 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Virdie; and five brother, D.T., Lawson, Cecil, J. G. and Buck.

Services for J. B. "Keno" WOOD were held Wednesday, July 28, at 10 a.m. in the Church of Christ in Sallisaw with Bro. Royce Martin officiating. Burial followed in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ponca City under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. WOOD was born to Bill WOOD and Nancy CHRISTIE WOOD on July 8, 1907, in Sallisaw, Sequoyah District, Indian Territory. He died in Sallisaw on Saturday, July 24, at the age of 75. He and his wife, the former Sadie Mae GOFF were married June 8,1953 in Tulsa. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Delmar, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
