Funeral services for Irvin Gilbert ANDERSON, 99, of Pryor, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Key Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pryor, under the direction of Key Funeral Home of Pryor. Mr. ANDERSON was born January 11, 1906, in Vian. He died May 26, 2005, in Salina. Survivors include his wife Sybil; one daughter, Helen; five grandchildren; two nieces; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jackie HILL.
Funeral services for Jewell C. BOYD, 84, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Tilly Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Glynn Craine officiating. Burial was in Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville, Ark. Mrs. BOYD was born May 31, 1920, in Nogo, Ark. to James Alvin and Ocia Mae (WALKER) PACK. She died May 27, 2005, in Fort Smith. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Don; one brother, James; three sisters, Tressie, Wray and Linna Faye; two grandchildren; one step-granddaughter, Kelly; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. BOYD, one sister, Oklia YARBER and one brother, Dennis PACK.

Burial was in Lavaca City Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. BROWN died May 29, 2005, in Lavaca. Survivors include his wife Laverne of Lavaca; one daughter, Frances Ann; one son, Tommy Dan; one sister, Elizabeth; one brother James; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He died May 28, 2005, in Tampa, Fla. Survivors include two daughters, Lauren and Miriah; two sisters, Karen and Christine; two uncles, Felix and Edmond; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends; and his companion, Bertha.

She married Clarence Richard COWAN February 14, 1933, in Spiro. Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters and one son-in-law, Callie, Ann and Joe, and Pearl; one sister, Beatrice; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Henry Clifford JONES, Johnny Thurman JONES and Hencil Lee "Mutt" JONES.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and two sisters.

Mr. ARMSTRONG was born March 2, 1915, in Bonham, Texas to Thomas and Rosa Lea (DIXON) ARMSTRONG. He died Monday, April 11, 2005, in Blue Ball, Ark. Survivors include one son and wife, David and Regina; one daughter and husband, Clara Sue and Ken; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. THOMPSON was born Aug. 13, 1965, in Denver, Colo., to James THOMPSON and Vivian (WEBER) THOMPSON. He died Saturday, June 18, 2005, in Orchard, Colo. Survivors include one daughter, Dorinda; his father James THOMPSON; his mother and step-father, Vivian and Louis LOCUST; two sisters, Tammy, and Shawne; four brothers, Scott, Jess "Buck", Jamie, and Sequoyah; maternal grandmother, Alma WEBER;fourteen nieces and nephews; and his friend, Bonnie.

Funeral services for James Edward "Eddie" BARNES, 80, of Roland, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Victory Temple Pentecostal Church in Roland with Rev. Andy O'Neal and Bro. Phil Smith officiating. Burial was in Northview Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. Barnes was born Aug. 4, 1924, in Rocky Point Community, to Noah Dallas BARNES and Goldie Lee (LONG) BARNES. He died Sat., June 25, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Dortha Goff GUNTER June 5, 2005, in Muldrow. Survivors include his wife, Dortha of the home; three daughters and two sons- in-law, Bertha, Glenda Kay and Vernon, and Kimberlan Ann and Terry; three step-daughters, Angila, Mona, and Shonia; one step-son, Tony; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sophia Marie, Beatrice, and Mildred; and four brothers, Easter Lee, Robert J., Earl Paul, and Glen Dale. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Irene (ASBILL) BARNES, one son, Paul Edward BARNES, one son-in-law, Robert FARMER, one brother, Noah Dallas BARNES and his parents.

She died June 25, 2005, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her father, David BRADFORD; her mother Louise (COOPER) BRADFORD; three children, Derek, Dylan, and Melody; one sister, Nancy and husband Chris; one brother, Angus and wife Stephanie; her maternal grandfather, Frank COOPER; two nephews; one niece; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, A.G. and Bettye BRADFORD, her maternal grandmother, Ethel COOPER, two cousins, Michael MARTIN and Robin COLLINS, and four uncles, Eddie BRADFORD, Jim, Fred and Bud COOPER.

He married Wynona (AMOS) BURNEY July 6, 1944, in Oakland, Calif. Mr. CATO was born July 19, 1933, to Wilford Wilson and Goldie Agnes (BOLING) CATO. He died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, in Muskogee. He married Judy Eileen WORKS September 8, 1971, in Hallsville, Texas. Survivors include his wife, of 33 years, Judy CATO of the home; one son, Carl; four sisters, Myrtle, Ollie, Nettie and Margaret; and three brothers, Roger, Donald and Charles. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Eddie Ray BOLING, and five sisters, Capitola TANNER, Lottie Mae ADAMS, Nadia FIELDS, Dorothy JONES and Bertha DAILY.

He married Jennie Ross COLLINS on Feb. 10, 1962, in Stilwell. Survivors include his wife, Jennie COLLINS of the home; four sons, Robert, David, Roger, and Michael; two grandsons; three sisters, Grace, Joyce and Vina Lou; and three brothers, Glenn, Jimmy and Larry.

Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. HOLDER was born Aug. 1, 1911, in Sallisaw, to Jay Gould HOLDER and Pearl (McCAMEY) HOLDER. He died Sun., June 26, 2005, in Vian. He married Margarine HAMILTON Jan. 18, 1934, in Eufaula. Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Margarine "Puddin" HOLDER of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dr. Tommy; one son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Rose; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, and his parents.

He died Friday, June 24, 2005, in Muskogee. He married Betty Irene KING RIDGEWAY December 11, 1971 in Milford, Conn. Survivors include his wife Betty of the home; three daughters, Laura and Donna, and Lisa; four sons, Charles, Michael, Michael, and Donald Jason (D.J.); 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Buddy, Bobby and Allen HOOKER.

He died Fri. June 24, 2005, in Tulsa. He married Kathy SKINNER Nov. 23, 2002, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Kathy of the home; two daughters, Emily and Betty of the home; two sons, David N. II and James Daniel Paul; mother, Maxine SKINNER; one sister, Susan Maxine; two brothers, Marvin Eugene and Daniel Thomas; two aunts, Phyllis and Wanda; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Earl.
