Graveside services for Willard L.C. CARTER, 60, of Muldrow were held Tuesday, June 4, at 2 p.m. in the Cottonwood Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Crowder officiating. Mr. CARTER died Sunday, June 2, as the result of a traffic accident south of Sallisaw. He was born Julyu 19, 1924, to Curley and Ivey CARTER in Massey. Survivors include one son, Nick; two daughters, Edwinna and Cathy; the mother Ivey McMAHAN; two sisters, Melba and Irene; 11 grandchildren; and four gret-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Marinda Frances JOHNSON, 80, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Tuesday, June 4, 1985, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. Services are planned for Thursday, June 6, at 2 p.m. in the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Jack Kinard officiating. Burial follows in the Reland Cemetery, southwest of Muldrow, under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. JOHNSON was born April 26, 1905, to William JORDAN and Frances MOORE JORDAN in the Redland community, Sequoyah District, Indian Territory. Survivors include one daughter, Virginia; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mae and Bessie; one foster son, Loyd K.; and one foster daughter, Margie. Mrs. JOHNSON was preceded in death by her husband, David L. JOHNSON, on Aug. 26, 1960, and by two sons, Raymond JOHNSON on Nov. 26, 1964, and Delbert JOHNSON on Sept. 9, 1982.
Services for Dave W. PATTERSON, 78, of Muldrow are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 6, at the Eastside freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow with the Rev. Harold Schuler and the Rev. H.D. Shipley officiating. Burial will follow in the Muldrow Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. PATTERSON died at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., on Tuesday, June 4, 1985. The son of Roland PATTERSON and Emma BROWN PATTERSON. Mr. PATTERSON was born July24, 1906, in the Ole Remy community, Sequoyah District, Indian Territory. He married Clara Virginia CAGLE Aug. 28, 1929, in Waldron, Ark. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Carl Lewis; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Opal and Ocie.
Services for Noah J. "Chief" KING, 77, of Muldrow were held Wednesday, June 5, at 2 p.m. in the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Roland L. Luelf officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. KING was born to George KING and Mary Ann HOWARD KING on April 20, 1908, in Muldrow. He died Monday, June 3, 1985, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Ruby Marie COKER Nov. 24, 1942, in Fort Smith. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Carolyn; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bill.

Services for Mary Etta CAGLE, 70, of Vian were held Thursday, June 6, at 2 p.m. in the Vian Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Calvin Carlile officiating. Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. CAGLE was born to Ras BELL and Dora McCOY BELL on Oct. 25, 1914, in Rudy, Ark. She died in Sallisaw Tuesday, June 4, 1985. Survivors include one brother, John; and one niece.
Services for Rex FAULKNER, 72, of Muldrow were held Thursday, June 6, at 2 p.m. in the Wheeler Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Curtis Bias officiating. Cremation followed the memorial service under the direction of the Wheeler Funeral Home. Mr. FAULKNER died Monday, June 3, 1985, at his home; He was born Aug. 22, 1912, to Hirman FAULKNER and Ethel WELLSL FAULKNER in Roland. Survivors include two sisters, Ella and Bedda; four brother, Martin, Hulie, Hirman Jr., and John.

Graveside services for John Henry POINDEXTER, 75, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, at Rocky Point Cemetery with Bro. Ira Brackett officiating. Mr. POINDEXTER died at Sequoyah Memorial Hospital Sunday, June 9, 1985. He was born Nov. 21, 1909, to William M. POINDEXTER and Lou WEBSTER POINDEXTER in Sequoyah County. Survivors include the wife, Louella, of the home; five brothers, Clinton, Clarence, Clyde, Levi and Floyd; and nephews Woodrow and Ervin. Burial was under the direction of the Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Word has been received of the death of Mertie DINUDUILO of Fresno, Calif., formerly of Nicut. Mrs. DINUDUILO died June 5 at her home. She was born Nov. 1, 1910, to Mr. and Mrs. Ed FREE in Checotah. She was preceded in death by her husband, John. Survivors include two sisters, Gatsy, and Madie; and two brothers, Clarence and Otis.

Ella Mae INMAN of Stilwell died Monday, June 3, 1985, at Stilwell Hospital. Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 5, at 2 p.m. at Marble City Cemetery with the Rev. Elbert Taylor and the Rev. Monroe Reid officiating. Mrs. INMAN was born April 26, 1893, near Alma, Ark. She married Arch Inman Feb. 5, 1908 at Maple. Mrs. INMAN was preceded in death by her husband in 1977 and by three sons. Survivors include a daughter, Eva; three sons, Watie, Bob and Floyd; a sister, Laurie; a brother, Virgil; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home in Stilwell.
Memorial services for Laurens E. ORCHARD, 76, of Sallisaw were held Friday, June 14, at 2 p.m. at the Free Methodist Church in Sallisaw with the Rev. Kenneth Wray and the Rev. Paul Bane officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Omaha, Neb., under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. ORCHARD died at his home June 12, 1985. He was born June 12, 1909, to Edmond H. ORCHARD and Harriet C. ARMSTRONG ORCHARD in Omaha. He and his wife, Lucille, were married, June 24, 1927, in Omaha. She preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Betty and Frances; one sister, Alice; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren

Graveside services for Arthur Fane MATTESON, 65, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 17, at Sallisaw City Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Harrison officiated at the services. Burial was under the direction of the Agent Funeal Home. Mr. MATTESON was born to Norman Alexander MATTESON and Leona LAWSON MATTESON on June 16, 1919, in Polk County, Mo. He died Thursday, June 13, 1985, in Sallisaw. He married Ruby Cleota COMPTON May 18, 1968, in Reno, Nev. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Arthur Fane Jr. and James Paul; three step-daughters, Joyce, Jessie and Marilyn; four step-sons, Odell, Ken, Billy and Dennis; three brothers, William, Dale and Tom; three sisters, Lenora, Alta, and Verona; two grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
Donald Joe MEADORS, 27, of Roland died Saturday, June 15, 1985, west of Roland as the result of an auto accident. Services were held Monday, June 17, at 2 p.m. at the Agent chapel in Muldrow. Burial was in the Rose Lawn Park Cemetery of Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of the Agent Funeal Home. Mr. MEADORS was born to Billy MEADORS and Wanda THREADGILL MEADORS on Jan. 6, 1958, in Mulberry, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Amy; the parents, Bill and Wanda MEADORS; one sister, Lisa Gayle; two brothers, Charles and David; the maternal grandmother, Oma; and the paternal grandmother, Jennie Mae.
Graveside services for Dave Leroy MITCHELL, 78, of Vian are being held Thursday, June 20, at 2 p.m. in the Garden of Memories in Vian with the Rev. Will Connelly officiating. Mr. MITCHELL died Sunday, June 16, 1985, in the Vian Nursing Home. He was born July 5, 1906, to Mr. and Mrs. Will MITCHELL in Thayer, Mo. He married Rosetta WILLIAMS in 1947 in Phoenix, Ariz. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, mary Ann; one step-daughter, Carolyn; three step-sons, Eugene, the Rev. David, and Ted;19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Alma; and one brother, Manuel. Burial was under direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Services for Ocie Essery PREWETT, 78, of Nicut were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 17, at the Lee Creek Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Tommy Treat and the Rev. orville Kendrick officiating. Burial followed in the Seabolt Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. PREWETT died Saturday, June 15, 1985, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. He was born Feb. 13, 1907, to James PREWETT and Delia CAPPS PREWETT in the Liberty community. Survivors include the wife, Bessie of the home; two daughters, Faye and Anna Mae; four sons, Herman "Joe", Johnny Dale, Earnest Burl, and Bobby; one foster son, Louis; one brother, Vernie; and 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Mr. PREWETT was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson; a sister, Eva PREWETT; and five brothers, Marvin, Preston, Hiram, Clifford and Efton.

Mary Agnes BOYD, 68, of Sallisaw died Friday, June 21, 1985, at Sequoyah Manor Nursing Home. Services were held Tuesday, june 25, at 10 a.m. in the Wheeler Chapel with the Rev. Bill Kinsey officiating. Burial followed in the Fleetwood Cemetery under the direction of the Wheeler Funeral home. Mrs. BOYD was born to Jim RICHARDSON and Ollie NEWBERRY RICHARDSON on Jan. 28, 1917, in Sallisaw. Survivors include a son, Chester; one sister, Virginia; four brothers, Carl, Shelby, Kenneth and Alvin; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. BOYD was preceded in death by a son, Odell TROTTER, on April 22, 1982.
Word has been received of the death of Bradley Wayne DICKSON, 21, of Trona, Calif. Mr. DICKSON was killed in a one car accident June 10 in Trona. Survivors include the parents, Margie and Carlas DICKSON; one brother, Bud ; and the grandmother, Lena ROGERS; He was the nephew of Fred and Margaret; and Mrs. Ova.
Services were held Tuesday, June 25, at 2 p.m. for Kenneth O. FERRELL, 61, of Bokoshe. The Rev. Charles Denney officiated at the services which were held at the Woodlawn Assembly of God Church in Spiro. Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery, east of Spiro, under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. FERRELL died Sunday, June 23, 1985, in LeFlore County memorial Hospital at Poteau. he was born Aug. 1, 1923, to Rufus Fanandow FERRELL and Chloia Pomella JOHNSON FERRELL in Bokoshe. He married Flora MAHAN Sept.13, 1947, in Fort Smith, Ark. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Sue and Janice Annette; one grandson; the mother, Chloia P.FERRELL; one sister, Marjorie; and three brothers, Willis, Carl E., and Sherman.
Services for Charles William O. GRAY, 79, of Gans were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw. The Rev. Billy Joe Jenkins officiated at the services which were followed by burial in the Fleetwood Cemetery under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home. Mr. GRAY was born to Orville Gray and Martha Jane NIEL GRAY on March 1, 1906, in Dardanelle, Ark. He died Saturday, June 22, 984, in Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw. He married Viola Laura Belel TUDOR on May 2, 1936, in Fort Smith, Ark. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Norma, Ruby; two sons, Bobbie J. and Johnnie; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vivian and Villie; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Dessie MORRIS, 71, of Vian ae being held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Vian High School auditorium with the Rev. Albert Terrell and the Rev. Robert Lee Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of the Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. MORRIS died Sunday, June 23, 1985, at Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw. She was born Dec. 19, 1913, in Mulberry, Ark., to Mr. and Mrs. Isham POWELL. Survivors include five sons, Eugene, Selmer, the Rev. Robert Lee, Jerry and Paul; one step-sister, Roxie; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services for Meddlie Roy "Pa" DAVIDSON, 84, of Sallisaw were held Monday, June 24, at 10 a.m. at the Brushy Church with the Rev. Willie Padgett and the Rev. Vernon McGrew officiating. Burial was in the Redmon Cemetery in DeQueen, Ark., under the direction of the Wheeler Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. DAVIDSON died Friday, June 21, 1985, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1900, to Samuel W. DAVIDSON and Maybelle KENNEDY DAVIDSON in Tyler, Texas. Survivors include three daughters, Mary, Evelyn and Verna; two sons, Samuel, and Randy; one brother, Barney; five sisters, Jean, Mabel, Leona, Vera and Vivian; 18 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
