Funeral services for James H. BROWN, 84, of Muldrow, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. Brown was born Oct. 13, 1921, in Lavaca, Ark., to John Martin BROWN and Virgelon Estelle (POWERS) BROWN. He died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Maxine BROWN of Muldrow; three daughters, Emma Lee, Dianna and her husband Jerry, and Carol Ann and her husband Ron; one sister, Elizabeth Bugg; five grandchildren; Four great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Henry "TH." BROWN and Hunter Guston BROWN and his sister Ellen COLE.

Graveside services for Carnell C. CARSON, 82, of Sallisaw, were held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Akins Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. CARSON was born Oct. 23, 1923, in Akins, to Katie Pearl CARSON. He died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, in Sallisaw. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and three sisters, Geneva McHENRY LINGERFELT, Juanita SUNDAY and Myrtle McKINNEY.

Graveside services for David R. CARTWRIGHT, 52, of Tulsa, were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Dick Duck Cemetery in Catoosa with Rev. Darrell Meadows of the Westside Holiness Church in Claremore officiating, under the direction of Amis-Kennard Funeral Service of Catoosa. Mr. CARTWRIGHT was born in Tulsa, to Virgil Ray CARTWRIGHT and Margie (ELLIS) CARTWRIGHT. He died Feb. 22, 2006, in Tulsa. Survivors include his mother, Margie Ellis CARTWRIGHT; brothers, Connie and Norman, Bruce, Doug; sisters, Tim and Carolyn, Diana and Jannette; and 14 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and his nephew Keenan ADAMS.

Funeral services for Christine GARRISON, 45, of Sallisaw, are being held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Revs. Shawn Money and Dale Phelps officiating. Burial is in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. GARRISON was born Feb. 19, 1961, in Chico, Calif., to Harold MITCHELL and June (DEBOARD) MITCHELL. She died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, in Plano, Texas. She married Clint GARRISON, Aug. 30, 1986, in Sacramento, Calif. Survivors include her husband, Clint of the home; two sisters, Trina and Patricia Ann; two brothers, Randell and Trace Alan; step-mother, Martha; two aunts, Doris and Helen; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Harold E. HASKINS, 81, of Roland, are being held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roland. Burial is in Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Ark. Mr. HASKINS died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Mildred HASKINS of the home; one daughter, Pat; five sons, Wayne, Dale, Aaron, Charles and Ronnie; one sister, Opal; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Richard Sheldon KING, 38, of Van Buren, Ark., were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was in Leard Cemetery in Pocola, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. KING was born April 30, 1967, in Fort Smith, to Richard the Jesus L. KING and Emma Dean (BROADWAY) KING. He died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, in Van Buren. Survivors include his wife, Michelle KING, one daughter, Destiny of the home; two sons, Treston and Colton; father, Richard L. KING; two sisters, Patsy and Lisa; and two brothers, Roy and Rick.

Funeral services for J.L. "Jack" OWEN, 79, of Webbers Falls, are being held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Millsap Funeral Chapel in Webbers Falls with Rev. Aaron Gage officiating. Burial is in Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. Owen was born Jan. 23, 1927, in Morris, to Jesse James OWEN and Bertha Mae (BAKER) OWEN. He died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, in Muskogee. He married Wanda FARR, Sept. 7, 1947, in Okmulgee. Survivors include his wife, Wanda OWEN of the home; children, Dianna Lou and Dale, Ronald Leon, Donald Lewis, Richard Lee and Jackie Lynn and Stan; sister, Mary Jane; four nephews and nieces; the brother he never had, Max and Gwen and their children; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Cremation for Sandy REEVES, 59, of Gans, was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. REEVES was born Dec. 29, 1946, in Denison, Texas, to R.B. HOOVER and Bessie (ROGERS) HOOVER. She died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Clinton Loyd REEVES, Oct. 19, 1962, in Denison. Survivors include her husband, Clint of the home; one daughter, Deborah Kay; one son, Ronnie; one half-brother, John; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Darren Wayne SIMONDS, 39, of Collinsville, were held Monday at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Owasso, under the direction of Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. Mr. SIMONDS was born May 12, 1966, in Okmulgee. He died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, in Claremore. Survivors include two children, Connor and Amanda; one granddaughter; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sally and Greg and Sherrill and Mark; four brothers, Darrell and Joy, Joe and Marsha, Derrick and Heather, and Nathan; mother, Wanda JAMESON BLEVINS; father Johnny SIMONDS; and nine nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Randolph Darrell SMITH, 50, of Poteau, are being held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Rev. B.J. Burial will be in Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, under the direction of Oak Hill Funeral Home of San Jose. Mrs. STALIKk was born Oct. 11, 1919, in Akins, to Jim and Virgie LOWE. She died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, in San Jose. Survivors include her son, Max; daughter, Ramona; grandson; and numerous family members in Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank STALIK.

Cremation for Harriett Ann STIFLE, 56, of Fort Smith, Ark. was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. STIFLE was born July 1, 1949, in Chicago, to Ernest Nickolas SCHIEBER and Alvina (RUNGE) SCHIEBER. She died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, in Fort Smith. Survivors include two sons, Nicolas Cecil and Robert Edward, Jr.; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services for Shirley Mae SUGGS, 70, of Sallisaw, were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw with Rev. Vernon Stone officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Ms. Suggs was born May 6, 1935, in Enid, to J.D. SUGGS and Ruby Grace (McPHEARSON) SUGGS. She died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one niece, Karen; one nephew, Christopher; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Dolores Mae TIBBITS, 75, of Tyler, Texas, formerly of Bunch, was born Nov. 13, 1930, in French Camp, Calif., to Wilbur H. and Eunice Leona (HEITT) CLARK. She died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, in Tyler. She married Ray Theron TIBBITS, June 5, 1952, in Millington, Tenn. He preceded her in death, Aug. 20, 1997. Survivors include her children, Ray Theron, Jr. and wife Pam, Eunice Leona and husband Jack, and David Eugene and wife Elease; four grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Robert and wife Michele, and Jennifer and husband Brian; sisters, Leona Jeanne and Ramona Irene; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, stepfather, Bailey WORKMAN, one brother, Lewis Riley CLARK and one sister, Eunice Charlotte ENOS.

Monroe Lowrimore officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. White was born Nov. 18, 1956, in Sallisaw, to Maron "Skin" WHITE and Shirley (Anderson) WHITE. He died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Linda Kay ARNDT, Feb. 14, 2003, in Wichita, Kan. Survivors include his wife, Linda WHITE of the home; one daughter, LeAnn; three step-daughters, Tana, Trisha and Tausha; three sons, Kelley, Matthew Dillon and Levi Garrett; two step-sons, Thrush and Samuel; mother Shirley WHITE; two sisters, Marilyn and Stacey; and four grandchildren.

Mr. WILSON was born July 2, 1930, in Roland. He died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Ruth WILSON of 49 years of the home; one daughter, Cindy; one grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Art and his parents, Cicero WILSON and Beulah DAVIS.

Burial was in the Prairie Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home of Hobbs, N.M. Mr. Asbill was born July 9, 1932, in Sallisaw to Melvin and Emma (GARDENHIRE) ASBILL. He died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, in Hobbs. He married Necia LOVE on Nov. 4, 1959, in Stillwell. Survivors include his wife, Necia ASBILL of the home; one son, David, Jr. and wife Lori; one daughter, Hope and husband Grady; one brother, Melvin "Dee" and wife Beverlee; four sisters, Jean, Polly and husband Wilburn, Sue and husband John, Jackie and husband Vearl Dean; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Mr. EDWARDS was born Nov. 20, 1950, in Richmond, Calif., to William F. EDWARDS and Noma MITCHELL. He died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, in Lancaster. Survivors include his wife, Dina of the home; one son, Coby; one sister, Lisa and husband John; two brothers, Gary and Jeff and wife Dawn; and father, William EDWARDS. He was preceded in death by his mother, Noma.

Funeral services for long-time Sallisaw attorney, rancher and community activist Jim C. JONES, 74, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 6, at Eastside Baptist Church in Sallisaw. Loyd Cole officiated at the services, and S. Daniel George and Mrs. Belva Barber were eulogists. Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. JONES died Thursday, March 2, 2006, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. He was born to Charles Edmund JONES and Bertie Louise TROOP JONES on Feb. 13, 1932, in Braggs. Survivors include one daughter, Tera Dawn; one son and daughter-in-law, James Pat and Debbie; two grandsons, and two granddaughters; one great-grandchild; one sister, Phyllis; his longtime friend and secretary, Earlene; a special friend, Marilyn; four children raised from a previous marriage, Tracy, Karly, Keri and Kristy; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley LAUBER; one daughter, Shelly and husband Donald; three sons, Mark and wife Serena, Steven and wife Michelle, and Scott and wife Linda; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dale Ritter officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. Terrapin was born April 20, 1926, in Sequoyah County, to John SIXKILLER and Martha WEBB. She died Saturday, March 4, 2006, in Vian. Survivors include one daughter, Sandy; one son, Tommy P.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

Johnny Freeman officiating, under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. Mrs. WEBSTER was born April 12, 1960, in North Little Rock, Ark., to Willie Clarence WEBSTER and Channie FULBRIGHT. She died Saturday, March 4, 2006, in a local hospital. She died Thursday, March 9, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Rev. Virgil BELLER, April 6, 1940, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death, Dec. 9, 1982, in Fort Smith. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Tamarra and David; two sons, Warren and Eugene; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Darrell BELLER and nine brothers and sisters.

Mr. FULLER was born Feb. 26, 1932, in Sallisaw, to Daffy FULLER and Effie Mae (SEATON) FULLER. He died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Shirley Christine KEMP, Feb. 16, 1952, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Shirley FULLER of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Tommy, and Tamie and Darryl; three sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Debbie, and Bryan and Angela, Charles and Sarah and; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dalton and Ruby.

Survivors include his wife, Clara of the home; three daughters, Alta, Ann and Cathy; two sons, Joseph and Chris; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Sallisaw. She married Oscar Louis STEPHENS, Jr., Oct. 23, 1951 in Lovington, N.M. He preceded her in death, Aug. 13, 1995, in Sallisaw. Survivors include four daughters, Jerri, Debi, Tonya and Karen; four sons and one daughter-in-law, Dan and Deanna, Mike, O.L., Jr. and James; one sister, Imogene; 17 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Thomas SECONDI.

Funeral services for Billy D. ALLISON, 58, of Howe, are being held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Methodist Church in Wister with Revs. Don Whitman and Paul McDaniels officiating. Burial is in Heavener Memorial Cemetery in Heavener, under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. Mr. Allison was born Jan. 1, 1948, in Scotts Bluff, to Elbert Audry and Dessie Pauline (MATTOCKS) ALLISON. He died Sunday, March 26, 2006, in Howe. Survivors include his wife, Karen "Katie" of the home; two sisters, Lavonna and Pauline; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Ralph CAWELTI.

Cremation for Byron Allen BAKER, 49, of Roland, was under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. BAKER was born Oct. 26, 1956, in Sana Anna, Calif. He died Saturday, March 25, 2006, in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife, Ramona of the home; one daughter, Shilo; one son, Erick; three brothers, Steve, Phillip and Aaron.

Graveside services for Mildred W. CONRAD, 82, of Sallisaw, were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CONRAD was born June 18, 1923, in Sallisaw, to George NOBLES and Eliza (KUMPE) NOBLES. She died Saturday, March 25, 2006, in Stillwater. She married Ralph Stanley CONRAD, Nov. 2, 1945, in Tulsa. He preceded her in death, May 4, 1993, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph, Jr. and Vicki, and Glen T. and Peralyn; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Truman and Ruth.

Graveside services for Kamden Mae DICKINSON, an infant, of Denision, Texas, were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Green Meadows Cemetery in Atoka with Rev. Bartt Bradford officiating, under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Atoka. DICKINSON died Friday, March 24, 2006. Survivors include her parents, Nathan Paul and Lori (OLDHAM) DICKINSON; grandparents, Larry and Linda OLDHAM and Raymond and Lynn DICKINSON; great-grandparents, Dale OLDHAM, George and Doris REEVES and Mary Ellen DICKINSON; one uncle; two aunts; along with numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and many very dear friends. Mrs. DELFER-GONZALEZ was born Feb. 26, 1931, in Blackgum to Charlie Ambers DAVIS and Lula Annie (McFARLAND) DAVIS. She died Saturday, March 11, 2006, in Anderson. She married Frank "Lefty" William DELFER II, Oct. 22, 1946, in Marysville, Calif. He preceded her in death. She married her second husband, Joe Paul GONZALEZ, Aug. 8, 1966. Survivors include sons, Frank, III, Rod and Del; daughters, Ginger, Violet, Marvell, Crystal, Josette and Kathy; brothers, Benson, Buster, Jack, Walley, Melvin, Albert "Doc", and Raymond; and sisters, Madge and Mary; 32 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, Lowell DAVIS, Marion DAVIS, Arthur DAVIS, Lester DAVIS, Cecil DAVIS, Austin DAVIS, Alline DAVIS and an infant sister, Olive DAVIS.

Mrs. KIRK was born April 18, 1933, in Evansville, Ind., to Charlie GILBERT and Dorothy (JOHNSTON) GILBERT. She died Saturday, March 25, 2006, in Muskogee. She married Robert "Bob" KIRK, Oct. 23, 1955, in Evansville. Survivors include one daughter, Norma Shawn; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Norma and Helen; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob on Aug. 10, 2003, in Muskogee and one son, Robert Nolton KIRK.

Funeral services for Donald Floyd MARRS, 77, of Yuba City, Calif., formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City with Rev. Wayne Vincent officiating. Burial was in Sutter Cemetery in Sutter, Calif., under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel, of Yuba City. Mr. MARRS was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Sallisaw to Clyde MARRS and Montie (HARRISON) MARRS. He died Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in Yuba City. His grandparents were early Sallisaw residents, John Wiley and Olive Julina (WHITLOCK) MARRS and Ben and May HARRISON. Survivors include his mother, Montie MARRS; son, Gary and his wife Sherrie; brother, Benjamin and wife Katie; onr grandson; sister-in-law, Bonnie; four cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret MARRS, a son, James MARRS and two brothers, Kenneth and William MARRS.

Mrs. MYERS was born Feb. 23, 1927, in Scratchout Community, to James Blaine BRYANT and Zula Nan (KING) BRYANT. She died Friday, March 24, 2006, in Sallisaw. She married James Carl MYERS, Dec. 18, 1965, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death, July 20, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Daniel; one son and daughter-in-law, James Blaine and Frankie; two grandsons; two great-grandsons; one sister, Coleen; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

She died Friday, March 24, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Carl Kennon PATTERSON, Dec. 24, 1933, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death, May 20, 1996, in Fort Smith. Survivors include two sisters, Lucille and Claudine; two brothers, Bill and Ray H,; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one brother, Claude PARRIS.

Survivors include one son, Stanley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles RUNIONS; one son, Chuck RUNIONS; and parents, David and Nellie (SIMONS) GARRISON.

Memorial services for Russell Lee TURNER, 63, of Sallisaw, will be held at a later date, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr. TURNER was born Feb. 23, 1943, in St. Louis. He died Friday, March 24, 2006, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two sisters, Carol and Ruth; three brothers, Robert, Roland and Timothy.

Burial was in Gore City Cemetery, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mrs. WALKER was born July 21, 1917, in Chase, Kan., to Joseph Isom ADAMS and Laura (JAMISON) ADAMS. She died Thursday, March 23, 2006, in Gore. She married Raymond WALKER, June 8, 1933, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death, April 4, 2002, Survivors include her children, Richard Ray and wife Shirley, Nancy, Larry and wife Gilda; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Phyllis WHITEHEAD and two brothers, Melvin and Bernard ADAMS.
