Graveside services for Betty Ilene BOYD, 88, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sallisaw City Cemetery with Rev. Vernon Stone officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BOYD was born April 17, 1918, in Duck Hill, Miss, to Joe RANSOM and Jackie Marie (SANDERS) RANSOM CALLOWAY. She died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, in Sallisaw. She married Jasper M. BOYD, who preceded her in death, Aug. 23, 1981. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Pat; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends She was also preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters.
Cremation for Pauline Marie BUKOWSKI, 46, of Sallisaw, were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BUKOWSKI was born Aug. 8, 1960, in Bristol, Conn., to Eugene Frank BUKOWSKI and Carol Jean (TONG) BUKOWSKI. She died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, in Sallisaw. Mrs. BUKOWSKI was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include two daughters, Amanda and Casey; one son, Scotty; mother, Carol Jean BUKOWSKI; one sister, Lisa; three brothers, Mark, Patrick, and Terry; and a special friend, Debbie.
Memorial services for Harold "Vince" CAMPNEY, 62, of Granbury, Texas, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury. Mr. CAMPNEY was born May 23, 1944, in Muskogee, to Harold and Alice (WINEBRIGHT) CAMPNEY, Sr. He died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, in Granbury. He married Georgia McKINZIE, in 1977, in San Angelo, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Georgia CAMPNEY of the home; children, Vincent Allen, Debra Kay, Joseph Edward, Angela, Terra, and Jennifer; sisters, Susie, and Gayle; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald CAMPNEY.
Graveside services for Norman Lee DORR, 60, of Vian, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian with Rev. Wincell Akin officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. DORR was born Feb. 19, 1947, in Freemont, Ohio, to Herbert DORR and Mary (WHEELER) DORR. He died Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, in Muskogee. He married Sandra Jo SMITH, Feb. 19, 1980, in Modesto, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Sandy DORR of the home; two daughters, Amanda and companion Jason, and Christina and companion Jordan; two sons, Mike and wife, Della, and Darrell and wife, Tisha; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Janet, Mary Jane, and Lois; two brothers, Rick and Allen; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one great-grandchid, Chanler Wayne WOOTEN.
Cremation for Myrna Gail WILLIAMS HUBBARD, 66, of Elkins, Ark., were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HUBBARD was born Feb. 25, 1940, in Clarksville, Ark., to Harvey Hoyt WILLIAMS and Edith Mary (HOUSTON) WILLIAMS. She died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, in Muldrow. Survivors include four daughters, Brenda, Mary Ellen, Bonnie and Marie; one son, Carl Ray; two brothers, James Kenneth and Butch; several grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Betty Jean WILLIAMS, and Dorothy Dean VAUGHT and one brother J.W. WILLIAMS.
Funeral services for Marie LEE, 76, of Van Buren, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren. Burial was in Fleetwood Cemetery near Sallisaw, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mrs. LEE died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, in a local nursing home. Survivors include one daughter, Rhonda; one son, Ronnie; one brother, Bill ; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services for Nolan MAINUS, 63, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Dale Wendlandt and Bro. Doug Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Brent Cemetery south of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. MAINUS was born on Sept. 8, 1943, in Sallisaw to James Albert MAINUS and Mattie Elizabeth (VANCE) MAINUS. He died on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, in Sallisaw. He married Evelyn STOGSDILL on May 27, 1966, in Tahlequah. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn MAINUS of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Doug; two sisters, Macie and Ellen; one brother, John David; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James Albert MAINUS Jr., one sister, Marie BAILEY and his son, James MAINUS.
Funeral services for Loretta Louise MATHEWS MIZE, 84, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Muldrow with the Rev. Phil Whitten officiating. Burial is in the Muldrow Memory Garden under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. MIZE was born on March 11, 1922, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Richard Dick MATHEWS and Mary Frances (CAREY) MATHEWS. She died on Sunday Feb. 25, 2007, in Fort Smith. She married Carl Leo MIZE Sr. on Aug. 9, 1939, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1989, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Joann and Tom, and Marilyn; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Carl Jr., and Richard and Dolores; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, sisters, and one grandchild, Shari WILSON.

Mr. McCONNELL was born Jan. 1, 1919, in Stilwell, to Josie CHUCULATE and Jessie McCONNELL. He died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, in Federal Way, Wash. He married Mae Ladinne DUFFY, in 1946. Survivors include his wife, Mae "Chick" McCONNELL; daughters, Kathi, and Denise; sons, Leslie, Joseph and Tyler.
Funeral services for Mabel Mae WEBB McKINNEY, 89, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Brushy Holiness Church, north of Sallisaw with Revs. Robert Polvado and G.W. Birdsong officiating. Burial was in Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs.McKINNEY was born April 18, 1917, in Sequoyah County, to Jackson Wayne "Jack" WEBB and Blanche (PALMER) WEBB. She died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Drew William McKINNEY, June 21, 1941, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death, Dec. 16, 1991, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Tony; two granddaughters; four sisters, Jessie, Reba, Audie and Vada. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Savola PITMAN, and four brothers, Olon, Ernest, Tom and Rube WEBB.
Leslie A. PINKSTON, 81, of Sallisaw died on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, in Gore. There will be no formal services and cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. PINKSTON was born on May 15, 1925, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., to James Elmer PINKSTON and Hazel Sybil (JOHNSON) PINKSTON. He married Mary Barbara WELCH on June 12, 1959, in Amarillo, Texas. She preceded him in death on Jan. 31, 1986, in Jacksonville, Texas. Survivors include three step-children, Charles, Carol, and Sandra; one step-grandson that he and his wife raised, Michael; several step-grandchildren; one sister, Betty; two brothers, Roy and Roger Alan; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Donald, Neal and Jerry PINKSTON.
Rodney Eugene RAMSEY, 43, of Webbers Falls, died on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, in Tulsa. There will be no formal services. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Adams Crest Cremation Center of Tulsa. Mr. RAMSEY was born on May 21, 1963, in Antioch, Calif., to Mary Gayle and Alvin Eugene RAMSEY. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth RAMSEY of the home; and one daughter, Jennifer. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Tracy Gayle.

Mrs. RUSH died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda; three grandsons; two granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nellie (BRIGHT) KING, her husband, Harold RUSH and sister, Mrs. Gene FISHER.

Mr. SMITH was born on April 1, 1940, in Westville to Charles Commodore SMITH and Stella Christine (RHINE) SMITH. He died on Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, in Gans. He married Georgia Lynn COX on June 10, 1961, in Westville. Survivors include his wife, Georgia SMITH, of the home; one daughter, Carrie, and her husband, Randy; one son, Michael, and his wife, Sandy; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Shirley; two brothers, Danny and Bobby; and several other relatives and friends.

She died Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two sons, Mike and wife, Martha, Curtis Joe and wife, Vickie; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Tiffany Marie WALKER.

Burial is in Lee's Chapel Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mrs. CLARK was born Dec. 7, 1931, in Sallisaw, to Thomas and Audry FRAZIER. She died Monday, March 5, 2007, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two daughters, Vicki and her husband, David, and Shawn and her husband, Mark; four sisters, Pauline, Faye, Bettye, and Mary; four brothers, Marion, Kenneth, Homer and Tommy; two grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob CLARK, parents, granddaughter, Leah RIGGS, two brothers, Levi FRAZIER and Jerry FRAZIER and a sister, Jean ROGERS.

Burial was in Lee's Chapel Cemetery near Muldrow under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville. Mrs. ERWIN was born on Aug. 6, 1967, in Sallisaw to Dallas QUALLS and June QUALLS. She died on Saturday, March 3, 2007, in Booneville. Mrs. QUALLS was formerly employed by Trane Industries in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Tom, of the home; two sons, Brad EDWARDS of Fort Smith, and Kendall EDWARDS of Nicut; her mother of Sallisaw; three sisters, Vickie JOHNSON of Muldrow, and Lisa JOHNSON and Nicole EUBANKS, both of Sallisaw; and two brothers, Andy and Bobby QUALLS, both of Sallisaw. She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Matthew QUALLS. Pallbearers were Warren Alexander, Craig Edgmon, Lonnie Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Brandon Morgan, and Jimmy Brewer.

Mr. NORMAN was born on March 25, 1931, in Shenandoah, Iowa, to Clifford Roy NORMAN Sr. and Mabel (LEWIS) NORMAN. He married Marlene Louise PHILIPPI on April 8, 1957, in Oxnard, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Marlene NORMAN, of the home; one daughter, Teresa L.; two sons, Clifford Roy and Mark Earl; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. She married Jerry STEPHENS on July 31, 1991, in Mansfield, Ark. Mr. BUSH was born March 11, 1917, in Marble City, to Dave BUSH and Betty (GARVIN) BUSH. He died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in Vian. He married Margaret BULLET. They were married for 61 years. She preceded him in death on Jan. 31, 2002, in Tailholt. Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis and Naomi; four sons, Don, Jerry, Jackie, and Dee; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Nelson Ray and Timmy BUSH, five brothers, and five sisters.

Mr. CHAMBRS was born June 25, 1932, in Mena, Ark., to Richard Robert "Red" CHAMBERS and Iola CHAMBERS. He died Thursday, March 22, 2007, in Vian. He married Arlene CHAMBERS, Sept. 25, 1967, in Sherman, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Arlene of the home; two sons, Kevin and Taylor Wayne; one brother-in-law, Bill; two nieces; one nephew; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Beverly PHILLIPS.

She died Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in Oklahoma City. She married James Curtis HAMMOND on Oct. 24, 1953, in Reno, Nev. He preceded her in death, on Oct. 22, 1999, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include one son, Kenneth; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Bill; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Elinor, and James and Mary; one nephew; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two sons, Curtis Dale HAMMOND and an infant.

Funeral services for Lillie BREWER, 89, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Leroy Reid officiating. Burial was in the Brushy Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BREWER was born on June 7, 1917, in the Brushy Community to Thomas Jefferson HINES and Nancy Jane (SILLS) HINES. She died on Saturday, March 24, 2007, in Sallisaw. She married Harley Truman BREWER on Dec. 23, 1936, in Sallisaw. He preceded her death on Sept. 18, 1980, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two sons, Virgil and Troy; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Donald and Marvin BREWER, three sisters, Molly MARTIN, Edith HINES, and Jessie WHITE, and three brothers, Clayton, Newton, and Watie HINES.
