Mrs. Dorothy Lucille BROOKS, 69, of Muldrow died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  She was born April 14, 1929, in Davis County, Iowa, to Albert Eugene Brooks and Goldie CLARK.  Services will be held at Marshalltown, Iowa.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown.  Survivors include four cousins, Helen, Max, Mary, and Cora.  Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Barbara J. BROWN, 37, of Roland were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Eastside Holiness Church in Muldrow, with the Rev. Wayne I. Hall officiating. Burial was in Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. BROWN was born Nov. 16, 1961, in Bakersfield, Calif. , to Herman Leon CAREY and Opal KATES CAREY  she died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  She married Don Richard BROWN  Jr. Nov. 23, 1979, in Fort Smith.  Survivors include her husband, Rickey of the home; one son, Richard; one daughter, Shannon; her mother,  two sisters, Wilma and Carolyn; three brothers, Leon , Clyde and Ronnie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Wesley Holland BYNUM, 83, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.  Burial is in Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.  Mr. BYNUM died Monday, March 1,1999, in a Fort Smith hospital.   Survivors include two daughters, Shirley and Holline; seven sons, Jimmy Wayne, Wesley Jr.,  Lonnie Joe, Anthony, David , Billy Don and Michael Ray; two sisters, Juanita and Charlene; 25 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.  Mr. BYNUM was preceded in death by his wife, Cloria BYNUM, two sons, William Fay and Rick O'Neal BYNUM,  three sisters, Geneva FARRELL, Joyce PETTY and Imogene LANE, one brother, Argus BYNUM,  and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for John William "Billy" DUNLAP, 35, of Tahlequah are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Vian School auditorium.  Burial is in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Mallory Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. DUNLAP was born July 4, 1963, in Kimball, Neb., to John Robert DUNLAP and Barbara (TRAMELL) DUNLAP.  He died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, in a Tulsa hospital.  Survivors include his parents; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sara and Cathleeen and Brian; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Dolly; one niece, and one nephew.  Mr. DUNLAP  was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Hulbert residents, Joe and Jessie DUNLAP and the late Gore residents, Earl and Edna TRAMELL.

Funeral services for Lois ENGLAND, 70, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Way of the Cross Free Will Baptist Church in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Marlon Douthit officiating.  Burial was in Peters Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. England was born Oct. 12, 1928, in Sloan's Chapel community, to Coleman and Eula Allen FITZSIMMONS.  She died Wednesday Feb. 24, 1999, in Sallisaw.   She married Arvil ENGLAND Nov. 6, 1946, in Van Buren, Ark.  He preceded her in death Oct. 5, 1997.  Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Colin and Gail ; two granddaughters; four sisters, Dorothy, Joyce, Emmalene and Colene; and one brother, Leon.   Mrs. ENGLAND was also preceded in death by one sister, Pauline FITZSIMMONS, and one brother, Carney FITZSIMMONS.

Funeral services for J. C. MAXWELL, 79, of Tucker were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Tucker Church of Christ.  Burial was in Cowlington Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro.  Mr. MAXWELL  died Friday, Feb. 26, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include his wife, Irene  of the home; two daughters, Paulette and Mary Sue; three sons, Jack, Jerry and Larry; one brother, Troy "Pat"; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  Mr. MAXWELL  was preceded in death by his parents. Mount Etna and Flora Belle (YOCUM) MAXWELL, one son, Ronnie MAXWELL,  and one brother, Loyd MAXWELL.

Funeral services for James David NORRID, 61, of Gans are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating.  Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. NORRID was born Sept. 26, 1937, in Brent, to Watie Mack NORRID and Violet I. (MCCOMBS) NORRID.  He died Monday, March 1, 1999, at his home.  Survivors include one daughter, Karen; four sons, James Jr., Jack Anthony, Forrest Lee and Dan Roy; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl, Wendell and Teddy; three sisters, Patsy, Barbara Sue and Faye; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.  

Funeral services for Sandra Jean "Jeanie" PATRICK, 50, of Sallisaw were held at 1 p.m. Monday at Hart Memorial Chapel in Stilwell, with Bro. Ronnie Ford and Bro. Udell Denny officiating.  Burial was in Bunch Cemetery, under the direction of Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell.  Mrs. PATRICK was born Oct. 8, 1948, in Springfield, Colo., to Lee W. and Geneva Lois (BENNETT) KILLER.  She died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, in Sallisaw.  She married Charles Patrick Dec. 10, 1992, in Eureka Springs, Ark.  Survivors include her husband, Charles PATRICK of the home; two sons, Clayton and Brian ; two grandchildren; her parents, one brother,  Jerry; grandmothers, Nobel and Dollie; and several aunts, uncles, and friends.  Mrs. PATRICK was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her grandfathers, L. D. BENNETT, Dave KILLER  and Sam HARDBARGER, and two uncles, Jimmy Joe BENNETT and Sonny HARDBARGER.

Funeral services for Melton Lee Roy PEARSON, 61, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Burial will be in Delano Cemetery in Delano, Calif., under the direction of Delano Mortuary.  Mr. PEARSON was born Dec. 23, 1937, in Blytheville, Ark., to Melton and Arvie (SAWYER) PEARSON.  He died Monday, March 1, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include companion Dorothy of the home; two daughters, Lisa and Terri: three granddaughters; one sister,  Arlene; one half-sister, Morene; step-mother, Geneva; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Connell Bryant RASEY, 80, of Phoenix, Ariz., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Cremains will be buried in Buffington Cemetery, west of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home  in Sallisaw.  Mr. RASEY was born May 13, 1918, in Webbers Falls, to Charles Norbird RASEY and Sara "Sally" (MCDUFFY) RASEY.  He died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, near Yuma, Ariz.  Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lona and  Steve, and Leann and Doug; three grandchildren;  and extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Virginia C. "Babe" TAYLOR, 83, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Burial is in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. TAYLOR was born Feb. 7, 1916, in Gans., to Oliver Fountain ROGERS and Sloma (OYLER) ROGERS.  She died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, in Sallisaw.  She married Felix George "Jack" TAYLOR Dec. 15, 1935, in Picher.  He preceded her in death Dec. 8, 1988.  Survivors include two daughter and one son-in-law, Dalene and Linda and Butch; two sons and daughters-in-law, Felix Vaughn and Kelly and Phillip N. and Donna; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law, Iva, Velma and Murtice.   Mrs. TAYLOR was preceded in death by one grandson, Keefer TAYLOR in December 1998.

Funeral services for Edward Lee WOLFE, 17, of Stilwell, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home Chapel in Stilwell, with Bro. Wayne Bunch officiating.  Burial was in Caney Cemetery, under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.  The youth was born Feb. 5, 1981, in Tahlequah, and died in December 1998, at Kerr Lake in Sequoyah County.  Survivors include his father, Bird WOLFE of Stilwell, his mother, Paige BUSH of Stilwell; one sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Brad; one brother,  Sonny; one niece Katherine; two nephews, Chase and Wyall; paternal grandmother, Maude; special aunt and uncle Bill and Lydia; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Harold James FRY, 71, of Sallisaw died Thursday, March 4, 1999, at his home.  He was born Sept. 3, 1927, in Oklahoma to Gay and Sarah Jane (SPOON) FRY.  Survivors include one daughter, Brenda; two sons, Roger, and Allen; one step-son, Ronald; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, June, and Patsy; and one brother, Homer.  Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Jay Waldon HEARN, 85, of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Agent Chapel in Gore, with the Revs. Richard Weatherford and Bruce Hough officiating.  Burial is in White Chapel Cemetery, west of Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. HEARN was born May 2, 1913, in Cherokee County, to George Daniel HEARN   and Harrisha (KING) HEARN.  He died  Thursday, March 4, 1999, at his home.  He married Molene PAYNE  May 4, 1938, in Tahlequah.  Survivors include  his wife, Molene HEARN of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Mary; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Lola; three nieces, Evalena, Bonnie Lee, and Audrey; and one nephew, G. D.  Mr. HEARN was preceded in death by one son, Don HEARN of May 17, 1976; two grandchildren, Larry and Daniel; one sister, Lena BRENTLINGER; and four brothers, Lee, Watie, Loyd and Chester.   

Funeral services for Dave Edward LOCKHART, 75, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Assembly of God Church, with the Revs. Monroe Lowrimore and Robert L. Polvado officiating.  Burial is in McCoy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. LOCKHART was born Aug. 15, 1923, in Marshall, Ark., to Grover Cleveland LOCKHART and Rose Lee (MANUEL) LOCKHART.  He died Thursday, March 4, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  He married Katherine Lorine GREENFIELD March 23, 1948, in Crawford County, Ark.  Survivors include his wife, Katherine LOCKHART of the home; three daughters, Kathleen, Donna Gail, and Carol; two sons, Bill and David; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Belle, Obeda and Syble Lee; and three brothers, Sam C., C. C. and Towry LOCKHART.

Graveside services for Charles SEBOURN, 81,  of Mountainburg, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Vaught Cemetery Arbor in Mountainburg.  Mr. SEBOURN  died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, in a local hospital.  Survivors include his wife, Elma SEBOURN of the home; one daughter, Joe Ellen; one son,  Glen; one sister, Eleanor; one brother, John ; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Louis Thomas BRANNON, 87, of Gans were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Assembly of God Church in Gans, with the Revs. Harold McKeehen and Phil Tally officiating.  Burial was in Gans City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. BRANNON was born Oct. 12, 1911, in Sequoyah County, to Jim and Leona (BARNES) BRANNON.  He died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.   He married Ruby ROGERS March 3, 1929, in Gans. She preceded him in death Oct. 10, 1988.   Survivors include one daughter, Mary Alice; three sons, Jimmy, Kenneth and Freddie Joe; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pearl.

Funeral services for James Allen BROWN, 94, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.  Burial is in Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.  Mr. BROWN died Monday, March 8, 1999, in a Fort Smith nursing home.  Survivors include his wife, Frances R. BROWN of Fort Smith; one daughter, Jean Allen; one brother, Roosevelt; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Shannon Earl CHAPMAN, 23, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Carl Williams officiating.  Burial is in Upper Creek Cemetery, near Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mr. CHAPMAN was born Aug. 25, 1975, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Richard Earl CHAPMAN and Sharon Kay (SHACKELFORD) CHAPMAN.  He died Sunday, March 7, 1999, at his home.  Survivors include one son, Timothy Shannon; his parents; one sister Karrie Ann; one brother, Richard Dale; paternal grandmother Ruth ; and maternal grandparents, Bill and Ruth LaFern.

Funeral services for Frances Louise JOHNSON, 62, of Yuba City, Calif., were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City, with Pastor Ed Simmons officiating.  Burial was in Sutter Cemetery, under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.  Mrs. JOHNSON was born July 28, 1936, in Sallisaw.  She died Thursday, March 4, 1999, at her home.  Survivors include her husband, Jack N. JOHNSON of Yuba City; one son, Gary W.; two daughters, Kimbra L. and Karen L.; her step-father and mother, James and Ruth; step-mother, Betty; one brother, Steve; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her father, Emmett GARVIN.

Graveside services for Thomas F. JOHNSON, 71, of Van Buren, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark.  Mr. JOHNSON died Sunday, March 7, 1999, in a Fort Smith hospital.  Survivors include his wife, Norma JOHNSON; one daughter, Tonya; five sons, Daniel, Ernest, Thomas, James and Tony; four sister, Ruby, Wilma, Marie and Grace;  11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  Arrangements were under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.

Funeral services for Dora Ella Susie JONES, 58, of Muldrow are being held  at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark.  Burial is in Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.  Mrs. JONES died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, in a local hospital.  Survivors include her husband, Jerry JONES of Muldrow; four daughters, Donna Sue, Deborah Kay, Patricia Ann, and Rebecca; her mother, Redith; two sisters, Mary Lou and Lois; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  Mrs. JONES was preceded in death by one son, Jerry  Dan JONES JR.

Funeral services for Earnest Taylor MARTIN, 71, of Moffett were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Harold Yates officiating.  Burial was in Lee's Chapel Cemetery, southeast of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mr. MARTIN was born Dec. 9, 1927, in Muldrow, to Richard Fred MARTIN and Minnie (TAYLOR) MARTIN.  He died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.   He married Lily Darlene BAGLEY July 8, 1949, in Van Buren.  She preceded  him in death Aug. 1, 1985.  Survivors include three daughters, Linda, Debbie and Lisa; four sons, Dennis, Phillip, Wayne "Smiley", and Keith; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Fred  and Dale.  Mr. MARTIN  was also preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Sharon Kay GRIZZLE, three sons, Darwin "Bo" MARTIN, Earnest MARTIN and Gary MARTIN, one granddaughter and two sisters.  

Funeral services for Pirl MOQUETT, 89, of Roland were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was in Dora Cemetery in Dora, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.  Mrs. MOQUETT died Friday, March 5, 1999, in a local hospital. Survivors include three daughters, Lavell , Audra and Janice; one son, Norman; two sister, Cora and Rosetta; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Artho Douglas OWEN, 83, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Carl Page officiating.  Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. OWEN was born Sept. 16, 1915, in the Badger Lee community, to Samuel Eathen "Sam" OWEN and Martha (JAMES) OWEN.  He died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in Sallisaw.  He married Bernice WHITWORTH Sept. 30, 1947, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include his wife, Bernice OWEN of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Lee; 11 grandchildren;  five great-grandchildren; and four nieces, Charlotte and husband John, Barbara, Judy, and Rose Marie. Mr. OWEN was preceded in death by one son, Sammie "Sam" OWEN Oct. 25, 1969.

Funeral services for Jack Elvert POWELL, 79, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oakridge Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, with the Revs. Freddie Howard and Howard Raney officiating.  Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. POWELL  was born Sept. 20, 1919, in Gans, to Elija "E.M." Lige POWELL Sr.  and Ida Belle (SANDLIN) POWELL.  He died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in Tulsa.  He married Stella Faye PAYNE Dec. 23, 1939, in Muldrow.   Survivors  include his wife, Stella POWELL of the home; one son, Jack E. Jr. ; four daughters, Linda Faye, Wanda Lou, Sharon Gail and Doris Jean; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Elmo and Quinton; and two sisters, Eva Jo and Sally.  Mr. POWELL was preceded in death by three brothers, Homer, Willard and Lige POWELL Jr. , and three sister, Elsie TAYLOR, Arbie ANDERSON, and Vinnie BOYETTE. 

Funeral services for Bessie Lee PREWETT, 95, of Roland were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Victory Temple Pentecostal Church in Roland, with the Revs. Magellan O'Neal, Kemp Holden and Andy O'Neal officiating.  Burial was in Liberty Cemetery, north of Roland, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. PREWETT was born Oct. 12, 1903, in Mineral Springs, Sequoyah District, Oklahoma Indian Territory. to Baud and Carrie (LANE) IRVIN.  She died Friday, March 5, 1999, in Roland.  She married Clifford Oscar PREWETT May 30, 1924, in Long.  He preceded  her in death Oct. 19, 1984.  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Reva and Raymond; two sons, Louie and Homer; one granddaughter; six grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.  Mrs. PREWETT  was also preceded in death by one great-grandson, Marcus Gene REDDEN in 1988.

Graveside services for Roy Eugene RUSSELL, 69, of Roland were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Roland City Cemetery, with Bro. Raymond Boatright officiating.  Mr. RUSSELL was born Nov. 20, 1929, in Seiling, to Ralph Dudley RUSSELL and Bertha (KYLE) RUSSELL.  He died Thursday, March 4, 1999, in Roland. Survivors include four daughters, Mary Jane, Nancy Ann, Pamela Kay and Jackie Dianne; one son, Dr. Roy E. Jr.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Anna Mae, and Dixie; and four brothers, Richard, Elmber, Robert and Dr. Jerry.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  

Funeral services for James William "Jim" STRIPLIN, 52, of Choctaw were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park.  Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Barnes and Johnson Funeral Home in Midwest City.  Mr. STRIPLIN  was born Aug. 15, 1946, in Sallisaw, to Reva Leora HOUSER and William Boyd STRIPLIN.  He died Wednesday, March 3, 1999. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Patti of Choctaw; one daughter and son-in-law, Kerry and J. R.; three sons, Chris, Chad and Kyle; three grandchildren; mother-in-law, Lila WALKER; three brothers and one sister-in-law, John and Jane, Jerry, and Terry; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Diane and Jerry, Brenda, and Debbie; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends; a dear friend, John;  Mr. STRIPLIN was preceded in death by his parents and both sets of grandparents.

Memorial Mass for Randy TEAGUE, 43, of Dallas were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Christ  the King Catholic Church.  Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery of Fort Smith.  Mr. TEAGUE died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in a Dallas hospital.  Survivors include his mother, Shirley; two uncles, Buddy and Jerry; one aunt Pam; and several cousins. Cremation was under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.  

Funeral services for Jesse "Rick" Richard THORNE, 60, of Arkoma are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Mr. THORNE  died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at his home.  Survivors include his wife, Anna THORNE; one daughter, Victoria; three sons, Loren, Richard, and Jim; three step-children, Lori, Edward and Eric; one brother, Dale; and 13 grandchildren.

WHITFIELD and Lea (THOMPSON)  WHITFILED.  She died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.   She married Bill JENNINGS Oct. 17, 1970, in Garden Grove, Calif.  Survivors include her husband, Bill JENNINGS of the home; one daughter, Susan; two granddaughters, two sisters, Doris, and Phyllis; and one brother, Keith.

Ronald  Lee KEEN, 49,  of  Marble City died Monday, March 8, 1999 in Marble City.  He was born May 23, 1949, in Sacramento, Calif., to Clarence and Evelyn (SUTTON) KEEN.  He married Susan KILLER  June 1, 1984, in Marble City.   Survivors include his wife, Susan KEEN of Marble City; three daughters, Dana, Alica and Megan; two sons, Smokey and Robert; two brothers, Teddy and Dennis; and several nieces and nephews.  Mr. KEEN was preceded in death by one sister, Linda LANE.  Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Dale Owen officiating.  Burial was in Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. TABOR was born Feb. 17, 1907, in the Maple community, Sequoyah District, Oklahoma Indian Territory, to Alec and Stella (RUSSELL) BUFFINGTON.  She died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Laverna and Jake; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lucille and Juanita. Mrs. TABOR was preceded in death by one son, Donald BOYD in 1992.

Mildred Marie Augusta JOHNSON, 92, formerly of Sallisaw died Friday, Feb. 5, 1999, in Spring, Texas.  She was born Nov. 12, 1907, in Rochester, Minn.  She married Homer L. JOHNSON, who preceded her in death in 1986.  Survivors include two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; Mrs. JOHNSON was also preceded in death by one son, Edward  Charles JOHNSON in 1973.  Memorial services will be held at a later date in Sallisaw.  Cremation was under the direction of Cashner Funeral Home in Canroe.

Vernis Wolfe officiating.  Burial was in the Church Cemetery.  Mr. LEA was born June 27, 1913, in Mehan, Miss., to W. O. "Bill" LEA, Sr. , and Virginia (STEALE) LEA.  He died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, in Hammond, La.  Survivors include his wife, Jean (TULLY) LEA of the home; five daughters, Chris, Linda, Anita, Ginger and Sandy; three sons, William O. III, Charles, and Thomas; one sister Catherine; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.  

Graveside services for Willie Brown LEWIS, 85, of Muskogee will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Marble City Cemetery.  Mrs. LEWIS was born Feb. 17, 1914, in the McKey community, to William Francis PAYNE and Lillie (MARTIN) PAYNE.  She died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, in Muskogee.  She married William Joseph BROWN  on June 8, 1944, in Claremore, He preceded her in death May 14, 1971.  Survivors include one-half brother, Lionel ; five half-sisters, Pauline, Cleo, Nettie, Frances, and  Toots.

RISLEY of the home; three daughters, Joyce, Janifer, and Juanita; five sons, Jerry, James, Jeff, Johnny, and Justin; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandson; her mother, Betsy ; two sisters, Addie and Barbara; and one brother, Howard.  Mrs. RISLEY was also preceded in death by one son, Joyle Lee RISLEY on Jan. 4, 1995, in Sallisaw.

Reba; three brothers, David , Freeman, and Newman; three sisters, Saundra, Yudora and Diane; and two grandsons.  Mr. MILLHOLLON  was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, the late Muldrow resident Venyon "Kewpie" (TABOR) YANCEY Sept. 17, 1998.  

Funeral services for Pauline WATTS SPANGLER, 84, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Phil Whitten officiating. Burial was in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, northeast of Muldrow,  under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs.  SPANGLER was born April 1, 1914, in Muldrow, to Thomas Archie WATTS and Elizabeth Ada (NEAL)  WATTS.  She died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, in Sallisaw.  She married John Wesley SPANGLER July 28, 1934, in Fort Smith, Ark.  He preceded her in death Aug. 30, 1983.   Survivors include four sisters, Aline, Louise, Susie and Betty; one step-daughter, Della Mae; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Martha Joyce; and one brother-in-law, Sherman "Buddy".  

Funeral services for James S. WEAVER, 32, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.  Mr. WEAVER died Wednesday, March 24, 1999, at his home.  Survivors include his wife, Kristin of the home; two daughters, Britney and Rheachel; one son, Dalton James; his mother and stepfather, Melba and Alvin; his father, Tommy SANDERS; paternal grandfather, Howard;  one sister, Linda ; and four brothers, Chuck, Russell, Don and Larry.
