Graveside services for Marjorie Mae BONNER, 77, of Charleston, Ark., were held Friday, at 10 a.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Smith Mortuary, Inc. of Charleston. She died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Charleston. Survivors include her husband, Clayton BONNER of the home; two daughters, Marilyn and Beverly; five grandchildren; three brothers, Herman, Paul and Vance.
Funeral services for James Fredrick EDGAR, 81, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. , Friday, at the Farrell-Holland -Gale Funeral Home in Stillman Valley, Ill., with Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating. Burial was in Stillman Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home of Stillman Valley. He was born on Oct. 28, 1920, in Aurora, Ill. to William Edgar and Eliza (HALL) EDGAR. He died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Juanita SHANKS on June 16, 1944, in Morgan Field, Ky. She preceded him in death on Sept. 23, 1992, in Rockford, Ill. Survivors include one daughter, Laurel Katherine; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jay M. and Lizette and Pat and Julie; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one cousin, Margaret; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Johnny Ray JINKS, 73, of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mallory Chapel in Sallisaw, with Rev. Herman Jones officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born May 15, 1928, in Ashland, La., to John Henry JINKS and Alma (POTTS) JINKS. He died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, in Muskogee. Survivors include his wife Doris (KING) JINKS of the home; two daughters, Brenda and Katherine; three sons, Henry Wayne and wife Dottie, Larry Joe and William David; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Charles Ray JINKS; seven sisters, Maudie LAWRENCE, Mabel UKELE, Pearl HILL, Aline JINKS, Annie CARTER, and Estelle and Sybil WILLIAMS; three brothers, Willie, John Henry Jr. and Travis JINKS.

Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Oct. 22, 1921, in Bunch to Joe ASBILL and Lizzie (MILLS) ASBILL. He died Friday, March 1, 2002, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Lula LEE on June 11, 1948, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife Lula LEE ASBILL of the home; one son, Walter Lee; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Melvin and Ross.

Burial is in Belfonte Cemetery under the direction of Robert/Reed-Culver Funeral Home in Stilwell. He was born Aug. 20, 1911, in the Nicut community, to Joshua NOFIRE and Margaret (EAGLE) NOFIRE. He died on Saturday, March 2, 2002, in his home. He married Euna Bell COLEMAN on June 10, 1930, in Sequoyah County. She preceded him in death on Feb. 20, 1974. Survivors include; four sons, Robert Jr., Jerry , Mose and Jackson; two daughters, Akie and Margaret; 37 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by three sons, Clifton, Abel and James NOFIRE.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer PARMER; six children, Woodrow PARMER, Geraldine PARMER, Floyd Wayne PARMER, Christine HALEY, Irvin Henry PARMER, Marion Edgar PARMER; one sister; and three brothers.
Carole Rae PENDLETON, 66, of Gore died Monday, March 4, 2002, in Sallisaw. She was born Feb. 4, 1936, in Madison, Wis. to Carl and Madeline DEMROW. Cremation was done under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and her husband Charles "Butch"; one son, Jack H.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Linda. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack PENDLETON; and several brothers and sister.
Cremation for Odie G. ROWLAND, 84, of Ozark, Ark., will be under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. Mr. ROWLAND was born June 16, 1917, in Sallisaw to Brice ROWLAND and Audria (WREN) ROWLAND. He died Monday, March 4, 2002, in an Ozark hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann ROWLAND, of Ozark; one daughter, Belinda Ann; one son, James Larry; two grandchildren; five sisters, Bea, Jeannie, Beth, Dorothy and Orena; and one brother, Walter. He was preceded in death by one son, Gene ROWLAND.
Henry SNOW, retired Tulsa businessman, passed away March 4, 2002. He was 87 years old. Mr. SNOW was born in Sallisaw in 1915. Henry is survived by his son Carl H., daughter-in-law, Marcia, daughter DeLois, brother Cecil, brother-in-law Lewis and sister-in-law Kay, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services are pending at Moore's Southlawn.

David Johnson officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born Dec. 5, 1905, in Mountain View, to Asa CANTERBERRY and Ida (SIMMONS) CANTERBERRY. She died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, in Fort Smith. She married Myles Felton "Pat" ARMSTRONG on Sept. 18, 1981, in Gore. He preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1993. Survivors include several cousins, nieces, nephews, including Ken and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, O.G. HARRY.

Funeral services for Brandon Don YOUNG, 39, of Bloomer, Ark., were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau. Burial was in Shady Point Cemetery, in Shady Point, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau. He was born on August 28, 1962, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Don and Trudy YOUNG. He died Sunday, March 10, 2002 in Bloomer. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Trudy and Larry MOSBLECH; father and step-mother, Don and Jeannie YOUNG; one brother, J. Keith; grandmother, Thelma YOUNG; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and loved ones; a host of beloved friends; and Ron Davenport of Bloomer.

Funeral services for Jimmie BOEN, 69, of Arkoma, will be held Monday, at 1 p.m. at New Bethel Assembly of God Church in Fort Smith, Ark., with burial in U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Mr. BOEN was born June 7, 1932, in Boxley, Ark. He died Thursday, March 14, 2002. Survivors include his wife, Anna BOEN of the home; one daughter, Debra; one son, Tim; five grandchildren; one foster son, Hiep; one sister, Mildred; three brothers, Levi, Doyle and Henry.
Graveside services for Charles Otis GUTHRIE Sr., 69, of Vian, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, with Rev. Homer Paden officiating, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born Aug. 4, 1932, in Vian, to George J. GUTHRIE and Cora Edna (PETTCORD) GUTHRIE. He died Monday, March 11, 2002, in Little Rock, Ark. Survivors include his wife Wilma (McKAY) GUTHRIE of the home; one daughter, Charlene; one son, Charles Otis Jr.; three granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, George and his wife Kathy and Carl; one niece Heather; two sisters-in-law, Melanie and Patsy ; and one daughter-in-law Ellen. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Perry Raymond and one brother, George.

Burial was in Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born June 18, 1925, in Simon, to Claud HALL and Gertrude "Trudy" (DAVIS) HALL. He died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, in Sallisaw. He married Lueanor Hope ELLIOTT on Oct. 11, 1946, in Chicago. Survivors include his wife Lueanor Hope HALL of the home; two daughters, Roberta and Louella; six grandsons; one granddaughter; three great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Delpha and Beatrice; one brother, M.C.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one grandson.
