Funeral services for Danny BURNS, 54, of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Calvary Temple Church north of Sallisaw, with Rev. Tommy Noel officiating.Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Dec. 8, 1948, in Sallisaw, to Harrell Owen BURNS and Mary Mildred (Shepherd) BURNS. He died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, in Little Rock, Ark. He married Lahoma Marie GRISHAM on Nov. 20, 1970, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Lahoma BURNS of the home; three daughters, Mary Rachelle, Melissa Carole and Danielle Marie; five grandchildren; two sisters, Lisa Ann and Rhonda; three nephews; one niece; and several cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Milton BURNS, one sister, Carole HAGGARD; and his parents.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, at the Dulany Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Eddie Winkler, pastor of the Roman Catholic Parish of the Nativity in Eagle Lake officiating. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery in Eagle Lake, under the direction of Dulany Funeral Home of Eagle Lake. He was born on May 21, 1925, in Sallisaw, to Huey Edward "Buster" BURNS and Grace Wright BURNS. He died Tuesday, Oct 28, 2003, in Rice Medical Center in Eagle Lake. Mr. BURNS married Elinor DOSTAL on Aug. 25, 1947, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Eagle Lake. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Elinor BURNS of Eagle Lake; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and her husband Tim; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Mike and Tommy and his wife Peggy; five grandchildren; two sisters, Marie and Bonnie; one brother, William; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, James "Bub" BURNS and John Edward BURNS.

She died on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, in Poteau. She married Jess ANGEL on July 2, 1931, in Claremore. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, George and Jane, Elvin and Denise and Jesse and Yvonne; two daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Bill and Sue and Roger; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Stella, Myrtle, Bertha and Marie; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was born on Aug. 6, 1919, in Vermillion, S.D., to Mr. and Mrs. Ed GIRARD. She married Clarence Dennis KUTIL on July 26, 1938, in Souix Falls, S.D. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1988. Survivors include one daughter, Dianne; three sons, Melburn, Michael and Bernard; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Laura and Dora Mae.
