Memorial services for Don BARKLEY, 65, of Bunch, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at his daughters home in Bunch with Rev. Gary Mullen officiating under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. BARKLEY was born April 16, 1940, in Iowa, to John BARKLEY and Edna EVENSON. He died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, in Bunch. Survivors include three daughters, Kari and John, Kristy and Brent, Kim and Brad; one son, Kevin and Pam; one sister, Jeanette; and 13 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Bobby R. BARNES, 72, of Texarkana, Texas, were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at the Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel in Nash, Texas with Bobby Kesterson officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Texarkana, under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home of Nash. Mr. BARNES was born June 16, 1933, in Akins. He died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife, June S. BARNES of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy Bob and Darlene; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Bradley, and Glenda and Bobby; two sisters, Pluma and Katie; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.  

Graveside services for Bernice K. BELCHER, 83, of Sallisaw, formerly of Katy, Texas, are being held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Gibson with Rev. Vernon Smith officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BELCHER was born Jan. 23, 1922, in Dallas, to Jess KELLER and Jodie (BIRDWELL) KELLER. She died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, in Sallisaw. She married Jack Stanley BELCHER, April 12, 1946, in Dallas. He preceded her in death, Sept. 6, 1984, in Katy, Texas. Survivors include one daughter, Jackie; one son, Frank L.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mildred E. BILLUE, 91, of Webbers Falls, were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Millsap Funeral Chapel in Webbers Falls with Rev. Glen Cox officiating. Burial was in Gore Cemetery, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mrs. BILLUE was born Oct. 13, 1914, in Solgohachia, Ark., to John and Elmer EDWARDS. She died Friday October 28, 2005, in Webbers Falls. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra and Arbra; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Billie; one sister, Sybil; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George BILLUE, a son Smokey BILLUE and brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Betty Lou BUTLER, 81, of Spiro, were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Rev. Jackie Edwards officiating. Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. Mrs. BUTLER was born Dec. 20, 1923, in Panama. She died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Wade BUTLER of the home; one daughter, Cheryl Kay; one son, Louis; one sister, Priscilla T.; two grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Pearl (GARRETT) TRAWEEK and two sisters, Alean OWENS and Mausolene B. DAVIS.

Funeral services for Liley P. DAVIS, 95, of Blackgum, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Blackgum First Baptist Church with Revs. Fred Oates and Dale Ritter officiating. Burial was in Box Cemetery, north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. DAVIS was born Oct. 3, 1910, in Blackgum, to Samuel CHOATE and Elsie (MILAM) CHOATE. She died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, in Sallisaw. She married Lowell C. DAVIS Sept. 5, 1928, in Blackgum. He preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1995. Survivors include two sisters, Jean and Goldie; one brother, Cooie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her two infant children, three sisters, Clessie SHORT, Nell DAVIS and Alice PACK and one brother, Larry CHOATE.

Cremation for Margaret Ann GRACE, 66, of Sallisaw, was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. GRACE was born Oct. 6, 1939, in Cook County, Ill., to Charles STINEMAN and Kathryn (PECK) STINEMAN. She died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, in Sallisaw. Mrs. GRACE was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith. She married Roy E. GRACE, Oct. 11, 1957, in Riverside, Calif. Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters, Cynthia, Rhonda and Crystal; one son, Roy; one sister, Katheryn; eight grandchildren; and one son-in-law, Carl.

Cremation for Jerry M. INMAN, 62, of Muldrow were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. INMAN was born May 5, 1943, in Macomb, Ill., to William INMAN and Lola (BADER) INMAN. He died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, in Sallisaw. He married Wanda D. SEXTON Oct. 28, 1964, in Stilwell. Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Anthony; two granddaughters; one sister, Audrey; three brothers, Donald, Robert and Larry; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services for RVenia H. JOHNSON, 87, of East Dundee, Ill., formerly of Vinita and Sallisaw, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita with Rev. Bill Beard officiating under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Mrs. JOHNSON was born Feb. 7, 1918, in Putnam, to Otis and Freda (POLLOCK) HULL. She died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, in Elgin, Ill. She married Harry K. JOHNSON, Feb. 8, 1936. He preceded her in death, Aug. 5, 2005. Survivors include one son, Gene H. and wife Patricia; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services for Harold MORRIS, 71, of Muldrow, are being held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, his family will officiate under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. Morris was born March 3, 1934, in Gore, to Edward MORRIS and Dessie Mae (POWELL) MORRIS. He died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Bertha Louies MILLER in March of 1968 in Stigler. She preceded him in death, Aug. 28, 2003. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharyon and Robert "Red", Ladonna and Ricky, and Sheila and Billy; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Danny, and Alden and Teresa; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Selmer, Robert and Jerry. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Dorothy and Darlene MORRIS and two brothers, Kenneth and Paul MORRIS.

Funeral services for Louis J. ALLEN, 89, of Muldrow, were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Rev. Tommy Treat and Bro. Odis Cook officiating. Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery, northwest of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. ALLEN was born July 12, 1916, in Blackjack Community, to Mack C. ALLEN and Mattie (FOLSOM) ALLEN. He died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Mary Beatrice BARNES, Dec. 28, 1951, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his wife, of the home; one sister, Oleta; four nieces; and several other relatives, in-laws, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services for Joe Lee CRAWLER, 68, of Sallisaw, are being held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Marble City with Rev. Dewayne Hardbarger officiating. Burial is in Barber Cemetery in Barber Community, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. CRAWLER was born March 1, 1937, in Barber Community, to John Maes CRAWLER and Lizzie (FLUTE) CRAWLER. He died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, in Sallisaw. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, John Kenneth CRAWLER.

Graveside services for Paul FIELDING, 75, of Roland, are being held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Farmington Cemetery in Farmington, Ark., with his family and friends officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. FIELDING was born June 24, 1930, in Quay, to Jennings Bryan FIELDING and Josie (CORNOG) FIELDING. He died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Helen Cathrine MOORE, Aug. 4, 1988, in Eureka Springs, Ark. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Tammy and Paula; one step-son, D'Wade; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lucille, Loretta, Coreen and Vivian; and one brother, J. B. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda BRISCO FIELDING, his parents, two brothers, Robert and Kenneth FIELDING and one step-son, D'Wayne HATFIELD.

Funeral services for Lena Marie GATTIS, 45, of Muldrow, were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, Ark. Burial was in Dooley Cemetery in Boles, Ark., under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Mansfield. Mrs. GATTIS died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, in a local hospital. Survivors include her husband, Paul GATTIS of the home; five sons, Brandon, Dustin, David, Nathan and Matthew; six sisters, Sherry, Shirley, Nancy, Diana, Laurie, and Debbie; three brothers, Steve, Randy and Jim and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Steven VINES and mother Emma VINES.

Graveside services for Mamie Marie WESSON OGDEN, 83, of Sallisaw, were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Drake Stand Cemetery, west of Sallisaw, with Rev. David Clewell officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. Ogden was born June 29, 1922, in Drakes Prairie, to George Newton WESSON and Entha Lavanda (WHORTON) WESSON. She died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two daughters, Linda D. and Brenda D.; four sons, Noah W., Jr., Rev. James A., V. Wayne and Gary G.; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Gary Maxwell officiating under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler. Mr. RHODES was born Oct. 22, 1942, in Sedalia, Mo., to Glen and Sylvia (BALDWIN) RHODES. He died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2005, in Keota. He married Treasa TIMMONS, May 20, 1981, in Keota. Survivors include his wife, of the home; one daughter, Tina and Don; three sons, Bobby and Bridget, and Bud and Angie, and Jerry and Melba; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry; one sister, Jean; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Justin RHODES and one grandson, Eric TUNDER.

Cremation for Earl Hartzel RICHARDSON, 73, of Vian, were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. RICHARDSON was born Aug. 24, 1932, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Sherman Earl Hartzel RICHARDSON and Velma Mae PARKER. He died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, in Vian. Survivors include two daughters, Anella and Bonnie Doreen; two sons, Robert Sherman Warren and Elmer Alton; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pat and Betty; his dog and companion of 20 years, Wugly; and several relatives and friends.

Burial was in Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mrs. DYE died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, in Van Buren. Survivors include two daughters, Freada and Nancy; seven sons, Thomas, Jr., Richard, Jerry, Ronald, Ben, Charles and Joe; one sister, Loretta; 100 + grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Fred DYE.

A private memorial service for Frank Dave "Cyote" GOODWIN, 65, of Arkoma, is being held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Arkoma Vortex Art Project. Cremation was under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. GOODWIN died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, in Arkoma. Survivors include his wife, Joy; one daughter, Mischa; four sons, Nigel, Middagh, Sean and Derek; one sister, Joanne; one brother, Bobby Van; and one aunt, Anna; and eight grandchildren.

Mr. MORRIS was born March 23, 1935, in Eureka Community of Haskell County, to John and Rose (WALLEN) MORRIS. He died Nov. 6, 2005, in Stigler. Mrs. HINES was born Sept. 29, 1902, in Millsap, Texas, to Richard "Dick" HINES and Hattie Susan (LANE) HINES. She died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, in Boise. Survivors include three nieces, Paula, Corynne, Susan and husband, Mark; two nephews, Bob and Marvin; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. ROBERTSON was born Jan. 7, 1941, in Webbers Falls, to Otis Ira McNATT and Lina Nora JONES. She died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Levi ROBERTSON, March 1, 1969, in Silver City, Nev. He preceded her in death, Jan. 30, 2003, in Fort Smith. Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Patty and Mike, Amy, Loretta and Phil, and Tammy and Michael; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Rick and Gina, and David; one step-son, Randy; one brother, Jim; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Jerry Copeland officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. SMITH was born March 11, 1917, in Sequoayh County, to M.L. "Bud" METHENY and Flora (WINTERS) METHENY. She died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, in Sallisaw. Survivors include five daughters and two sons-in-law, Shirley H., Betty L., Melba S., Norma J. and Dempsey, and Linda L. and Gary; two sons and daughter-in-law, Herbert and James E. and Juanita; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hosie L. HENSON and Forrest E. SMITH, two brothers, Clarence and Floyd METHENY and two grandchildren, Jay and Tara HARL.

Mr. BLEDSOE was born April 22, 1944, in Muldrow, to William Raz BLEDSOE and Lula Kate (WHEELER) BLEDSOE. He died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, in Muskogee. He married Bobbie EUBANKS, Aug. 1, 1979, in Poteau. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie; one daughter, Velvet; one son, Chris; two sisters, Nellie and Marilyn; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends; and one special pet, Sooner. He was preceded in death by his four brothers, his twin, Darrell Gene BLEDSOE and William, Bill and Jerry BLEDSOE.

Graveside services for Dennis Christopher BOLTHAUSER, 47, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. BOLTHAUSER died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, in Fort Smith. Survivors include two daughters, Robin and Tammy; two sons, Jerrod and Aaron; one sister, Betty; and one brother, Tommy.

Burial is in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr. CECIL was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Mulbery, Ark. He died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Frances of the home; three daughters, Joyce, Ann and Glenda; one step-daughter, Janice; three sons, Robert, Donnie and Daniel; one step-son, William; one brother, Bruce; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Butch and Dennis.

Cremation for Delores DAVIS, 79, of Mountainburg was under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren. Mrs. DAVIS died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, in a local hospital. Survivors include four daughters, Dondra, Paula, Vyneta and Cheryl; one son, Dennis; 32 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jimmy Grant DAVIS, 39, of Phoenix, were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was in Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral home of Fort Smith. Mr. DAVIS died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, in Phoenix. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Geraldine and Danny WILSON; fiancé, Norma; two sons, Jessie and Cody; one step-daughter, Brittney; three sisters, Betty, Julie and August; two brothers Vinnie and Danny; mother of his children, Terri DAVIS; and numerous friends.

He married Sally RITTER, Dec. 31, 1973, in Vian.  Survivors include his wife, Sally ARMSTRONG of the home; one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Bill; father-in-law, Harold "Sonny" RITTER and favorite mother-in-law, Mona RITTER; three sisters-in-law, Carol,  Mona, Debra and husband, Joel, and Mona and husband, Roy; nieces and nephews, Joe and Misty, Shawn and Sandy, and Brandon, Brock and Kristen, Blake, Richard and Sheri D'Lynn, Heath and Dena, Glen and Michelle, Meredith, Nick and Bryan. He married Sara Ruth BROOKS, Feb. 13, 1943, in Bisbee, Ariz. She preceded him in death, Feb. 28, 1992, in Tulsa.
