Funeral services for Pauline CRAIGHEAD EAST, 70, of Vian, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Vian Baptist Church, with Rev. Chris Trent officiating. Burial is in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born Sept. 6, 1931 in Vian, to George Allen CRAGHEAD and Bessie (BALLARD) CRAGHEAD. She died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001, in Vian. Mrs. EAST married Billy William EAST in 1947, in Fort Smith, Ark. He preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1964. Survivors include one daughter, Paula; two sons, Billy W. Jr. and Gary Paul; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Francis; three brothers, Odis and Archie, and Wayne. Mrs. EAST was also preceded in death by one son, Terry Neal EAST;  her parents; and one brother Robert CRAIGHEAD.

Funeral services for Berneta EVANS, 73, of Gore, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens in  Oklahoma City, with Rev. Mark Spena officiating. Burial was in Arlington Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. EVANS was born March 29, 1928, in Allen to Virgil BRYAN and Veila (REEVES) BRYAN. She died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, in Gore. Mrs. EVANS married Joe Bill EVANS in McKinney, Tex. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1992. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Frieda and Alice and one brother, Bill. Survivors include one daughter, Neta Jo; two sons, Joe Alan and Randall Lee; two grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Audie and Linda; one sister and brother-in-law, Dess and Don; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Nora J. GENTRY, 101, of Vian, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, at the Vian Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Laymon Garrison officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born July 28, 1900, in Rudy, Ark., to Samuel McFADDEN and Barbara (PIERCE) McFADDEN. Mrs. GENTRY married Miles H. "Chock" GENTRY on Oct. 18, 1918, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1977. Survivors include one son, Vinson E. "Hoss"; one daughter, Fern; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;15 great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Graveside services for Jean GILLIAM, 65, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the Akins Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. GILLIAM was born Dec. 3, 1935, in Clarksburg, W.Va., to Theodore Franklin WINANS and Adda (McCUNE) WINANS. She died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, in Muldrow. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and her husband Truman; one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Scott and his wife Jacquelyn; one brother, Ted and two grandchildren.

Funeral services for Kenneth R. HARRISON, 78, of Roland, were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was in U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. HARRISON died Sunday, October 28, 2001, in Fort Smith. Survivors include two daughters, Mary E. and Sue; three sons, Gary R., Ronald E. and Terry L.; two sisters, Evelyn N. and Magdelen; one brother, Noyce; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Frances Lee HERMAN, 75, of Magazine, Ark., will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, in the Mountain Grove Cemetery in Sugar Grove, Ark., under the direction of Robert Funeral Home of Booneville, Ark. she died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, in her home. Survivors include five daughters, Rosetta, Ruby Bonnette, Brenda K.,  June Carolyn, and Tommie Diane; one son, Henry Dennis; three step-sons, John Leo, Robert Wayne and Jim Leo; one step-daughter, Ruth Ann; one half-sister, Kimberly; 27 (grand)children; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leo HERMAN; and one daughter, Virginia Lee CHANDLER.

Funeral services for Kenneth W. MAXWELL, 44, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial is Mt. McCurry Cemetery near Rudy, Ark., under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. He died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, in his home. Survivors include two daughters, Tamaro and Kendra; one son, Kenneth, Jr.; his mother, Louise ; seven sisters, Pauline, Shirley, Marsha and Mary Jean, Wanda, Rosie, and Eunice; and one brother, Earl.

Graveside services for Ray Harvey MORELAND, 95, of Stilwell were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Hart Memorial Chapel in Stilwell, with Rev. Randy Proctor officiating. Burial was in Stilwell City Cemetery, under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of  Stilwell. He was born Nov. 17, 1905, in Piney community in Stilwell, to Collins McDonald MORELAND and Elnora (WOODS) MORELAND. He died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, in Stilwell. He married Ada Madge STARR in Oct. 1929. She preceded him in death on April 4, 1947. He married Josephine CORNSILK in 1948, she preceded him in death on Dec. 24, 1996. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson Adam Ray MORELAND; one step-son, Jimmy Jack SCAREWATER; three brothers, Clem Col, Stanley Wilson and Watie Bryant MORELAND;  one infant brother, Edgar Ross MORELAND and one sister, Lucille Hazel GUTHRIE. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Donald  Hastings and his wife Elizabeth and Carl Edward and Harvey Dean and his wife Diana; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jean and her husband Don; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; five step-children, Williams, Jack, Bob, Roy and Jess; three sisters, Leo Helen and Imogene and Gladys Bernice; and several other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for David Lee REED, 68, of Van Buren, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Monday, at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mr. REED died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, in his home. Survivors include one daughter, Sharon; two sons, Keith and John; one sister, Gloria Jean; and two brothers, Jimmy and Walter.

Graveside services for Susan Rebecca ROBERSON, 24, of Lamar, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Holman Cemetery in Lamar, with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating, under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville, Ark. She died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001, in Little Rock, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Angelica Rene; one son, Ricardo Devoe; her parents, Betty and Joel POINDEXTER and the late John Devoe ROBERSON; her grandparents, Mary SELF and the late Beacher SELF; four brothers, Aaron, Tim, Beacher and James. She was preceded in death by one uncle, James SELF.

Funeral services for H. Warren SKELTON, 53, of Spiro,are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Spiro First Baptist Church, with Rev. John Flanagan officiating. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. He was born Aug. 3, 1948, in Spiro, to Hurl SKELTON and Pauline (SYKES) SKELTON. He died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, in Spiro. Survivors include his wife, Beth (JONES) SKELTON of th home; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Gary and his wife LaJeanna, Mike and his wife Myra, Timothy and his wife Cristie and Randy; one sister, JoAnn and her husband Bill; two brothers, J.B. and Herman; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Gerald D. SNOW Sr., 60, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial was in Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr. SNOW died Sunday, October 28, 2001, in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife Rosemary SNOW of the home; two daughters, Teresa and Rebecca; three sons, Gerald D. Jr. and Randall Gene and Jimmy Euel; one sister, Reba; two brothers, Thurman and Ronald; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Howard SNOW.

Funeral services for Elsie Edna Irene WALTERS, 85, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, with Rev. Bill Adcock officiating. Burial was in Seabolt Cemetery north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. She was born Feb. 28,1 916, in Nicut community, to John Franklin SERATT and Flora Ann (EWING) SERATT. She died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, in Muldrow. Mrs. WALTERS married Euil Jack WALTERS on March 5, 1937. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1964. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Elton and Kathy and Jerry; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Betty; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Donald E. WAYT, 68, of Florissant, Mo., were held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2001, at Hutchens Mortuary of Florissant, with Rev. David Swan officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of Hutchens Mortuary of Florissant. Mr. WAYT was born Nov. 25, 1932, in Fort Smith, Ark. He died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, in Barnes West County Hospital, in St. Peters, Mo. Survivors include his wife, Opal J. WAYT of the home; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Debbie and her husband Ron and Carla and her husband Steve; one son, Michael ; three brothers, Cecil, Robert and Bill; three sisters, Mary Lou, Dora Ellen and Doris; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his father, Cyril WAYT; and several other family and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jo and his mother Bertha WAYT.

Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. ARMSTRONG was born July 11, 1917, in Meeker, to O.W. and Rea (CARLON) KING. She died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, in Vian. Mrs. ARMSTRONG married Glen Alfred ARMSTRONG on Aug. 17, 1941, in Warner. Survivors include her husband, Glen of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Bill; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Carol and Jim and Sally; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Gertrude C. STEVENSON, 96, of Webbers Falls, are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Lescher-Millsap Chapel in Muskogee, with Dan Wilson officiating. Burial is in Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee, under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. She was born Jan. 15, 1905, in Webbers Falls, to Joseph Wilton LOOPER  and Minnie Lee (SADLER) LOOPER. She died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, in Tulsa. Survivors include two grandsons, Nowlin and his wife Diana and Reynolds Doug and his wife Kerry; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dixie Lee KEATHLEY.

Funeral services for Lorene Francis WANN, 84, of Booneville, Ark. were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Booneville. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Robert's Funeral Home of Booneville. Mrs. WANN was born March 30, 19717, in Daughty,  Arthur and Ella MOORE. She died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Mayrene and her husband Wayne; two sons, Eddie and his wife Dixie and Everett and his wife Janis; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; one great-great-step-grandchild; one sister, Mary; and two brothers, Arthur Paul and Ralph. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar WANN; her parents; one daughter, Edna Mae WANN; three brothers, Johnnie, Alvin and Wasson MOORE; and one sister, Verna STEWART ESTES.

Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. BRANT died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. BRANT married Eula Faye COONROD on May 26, 1941, in Newkirk. Survivors include his wife, Faye BRANT of the home; two daughters, Karen and Sherry; three sons, Frank, Marvin and Terry; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Leroy and Wilson; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Flora Elizabeth CASEY, 77, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2:30 p.m.Thursday, at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. She died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, in a local hospital. Survivors include three daughters, Diane, Cheryl and Betty; three sons, James, Harvey and Roy; one sister, Betty; one brother, Fred; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Rosary services for Byron "Barney" CLENNON, 89, of Fort Smith, Ark. were held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith and Mass services are being held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. CLENNON died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, in his home.  Survivors include his wife, Elsie M. CLENNON of the home; two daughters, Sherry Jean and Billie Rae; two sons, James E. and Michael S.; two brothers, William and Bart and Bart; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Clifford William "C.W." DANIEL, 80, of Sallisaw, were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, with Chaplain Donald Simpson officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. DANIEL was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Floydade, Tex. to Robert O'Neal DANIEL and Bessie (HOLMES) DANIEL. He died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, in Talihina. Mr. DANIEL married Johnnie KISER on Nov. 21, 1941, in Hobbs, N.M. She preceded him in death on Oct. 28, 1985. Survivors include three daughters, Dana, Deborah and DeLisa; one son Danny K.; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Kathryn and Elizabeth, Dorothy and Mildred; two brothers, Howard and Ralph "R.S.". 

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Bartlesville for Kenneth L. DOLEZAL. Mr. DOLEZAL was born Nov. 16, 1948, in Merced, Calif. He died Nov. 2, 2001, at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville following a long battle with cancer. He was 52. Mr. DOLEZAL married Linda MILLER on Aug. 26, 1979, at Johnstone Park in Bartlesville. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and a son, Tony DOLEZAL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Mary DOLEZAL, and an infant son, Donald Miller DOLEZAL. Funeral services were in the Bartlesville First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jennifer Long, associate pastor, presiding. Burial was in the Bartlesville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Jonelle L. LONG, 16, of Sallisaw, are being held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, with Bro Royce Martin and Dr. Jim Herndon officiating. Burial is in Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Miss LONG was born March 28, 1985, in Fort Smith, Ark., to John Edgar LONG and Joyce LaVonne (DODSON) LONG.  She died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her parents, of the home; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Lucille DODSON; paternal grandparents, Edgar and Juanita LONG; paternal great-grandmother, Ruby TAYLOR; one aunt, Athena; three uncles, Roger, Rocky and Jimmy; and several other relatives and friends, including her special friend Christopher "Critter".

Funeral services for Kenneth Eugene TAYLOR Sr., 72, of Fort Smith, Ark. were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial was in National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr. TAYLOR died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Christine TAYLOR of the home; three daughters, Linda, Charolette and Debra; two sons, Kenneth Jr. and Tyrone; two adopted children, Nancy and Juana; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three adopted grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Joe and Jack.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony SMITH of Fort Smith; one daughter, Amanda Jo; one son, Micky L.; her mother, Waneta Joann SHEPLER; one sister, Cynthia; two brothers, Bruce and Doug.

Funeral services for Docia Elizabeth VAUGHAN, 86, of Muldrow, are  being held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with Revs. Andy O'Neal and Phil Talley officiating. Burial is in Lee's Chapel Cemetery south of Muldrow. Mrs. VAUGHAN was born Jan. 17, 1915, in Baird, Tex. to Sam BLACK and Edith (HITE) BLACK. She died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. VAUGHAN married John Wade VAUGHAN Sr. on Jan. 17, 1936., in Roland. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Mona Rae and Eyvonne; one son, John Wade Jr.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Greg and Robin and Dewayne; three grandchildren; one sister, Frances; three brothers, Robert, Leon and Kenneth; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; L.D. COVEY; her parents; and one grandson, Michael HANNA.

Graveside services for Jacqueline Elizabeth "Jakki" ESMAILI, 40, of Lakewood, Colo. formerly of Sallisaw, are being held Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Sallisaw City Cemetery, with Revs. Monroe Lowrimore and Tom Hawkins officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. ESMAILI was born Nov. 8, 1961, in Dallas, to Henry Earl "Pete" BAKER Jr. and Dorothy Jane (AGENT) BAKER. She died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, in Wheat Ridge, Colo. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. Mrs. ESMAILI married Mehran ESMAILI on May 5, 1986, in Dallas. Survivors include her husband, of the home; one son, Phillip; one daughter, Parisa; her father Pete BAKER of Texas; one half-sister, Jennifer; one brother, David; one half-brother, Eric; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, relatives and friends, including her uncle and aunt, Neal and Darlene. She was preceded in death by mother and grandparents, Lillian Trene and Watie N. "Jack" AGENT.

Burial was in Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. GAGARIN was born Oct. 5, in Sequoyah County, to D. John REED and Della (ANDERSON) REED. She died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, in Sparks. She married Joe Pascua GAGARIN on Jan. 27, 1959, in Porterville, Calif. He preceded her in death  on Nov. 2, 1983. Survivors include one daughter, Jolene; one son Rick; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother, Della REED; two sisters, Colleen and Leola; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HALL was born Feb. 25, 1935, in Fort Smith, Ark. to John "Crity" CLEMONS and Mary Ellen CLEMONS. She died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda, three sons, John Bruce, Steve and Richard; 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ellen Louise, Reba and Anita; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Claud HALL on April 17, 1995; and two brothers, Carolton "Buddy" FREE and Billy Ray CLEMMONS.

Graveside services for Richard B. MARLOW, 84, of Vian, were held Wednesday, at 10 a.m. at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., with Rev. Robert L. Polvado officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. MARLOW was born Sept. 11, 1917, in Kennett, Mo. to William MARLOW and Louise (ANDERSON) MARLOW. He died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, in Sallisaw. Survivors include several cousins and friends.  

Graveside services for Bobby MUELLER, 65, of Gore, were held Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at the East Point Cemetery in Russellville, Ark., with Rev. Ronnie Birge officiating, under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville. Mr. MUELLER was born Nov. 16, 1935, in Flat Rock, Ark. to Raymond and Jessie (MARTIN) MUELLER. He died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Bill and Bonnie and Larry; four grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and William; his father, Raymond MUELLER; two nephews and wives, Jerry and Vicky and Dwayne and Kim. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Graveside services for Billy Joe PETERS, 74, of Siloam Springs, Ark., were held Friday, at 10 a.m. at the Johnson Cemetery west of Siloam Springs, with Rev. Mr. PETERS was born Nov. 22, 1926, in the New Hope community in Sequoyah County, to Floyd "Jake" PETERS and Asia (TAYLOR) PETERS. He died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, in Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. He married the late Martha PETERS on April 29, 1950. Survivors include one son, Junior; one granddaughter; one grandson; six great-granddaughters; two brothers, Muriel and James; and other relatives and friends, including John and Donna. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1977, two brothers, Floyd PETERS Jr. and Doyle PETERS and one sister, Mary Joyce PETERS.

Edward Dale HAGGARD, 40, of Alma, Ark. died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001, in a local hospital. His cremation was under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his father, Rex HAGGARD; his paternal grandmother, Beatrice MOORE; two sisters, Penny and Deanna Kay; three brothers, Gene, Kenny and Roger Dale; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn ALBRITTON.

Helen Louise McCONNELL, 76, of Muldrow, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001. Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery northwest of Muldrow. Mrs. McCONNELL was born Dec. 23, 1924, in Kansas, Mo., to Edward Leroy CRANE and Alice Elnore (JONES) CRANE. She died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001. Mrs. McCONNELL married John Robert McCONNELL Sr. on Sept. 12, 1965, in Stigler. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1990. Survivors include one grandson, Robert Eugene Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Eugene, Jon and Crystal; two sisters, Dorothy and Nancy; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including her nephew, Jerry Lee.

Burial is in Fort Coffee Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. TRIPLETT was born March 8, 1925, in Spiro, to James TRIPLETT and Lottie (BREWER) TRIPLETT. He died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, in Spiro. Survivors include his wife Dorothy (BECKFORD) TRIPLETT of the home; two daughters, Gladys Jean and Gloria Ann; one son, Willis Ray; five sisters Eessa, Severa and Versa, Onnie and Lorece; one brother, Sovoy; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Armon, Elmer and Edward TRIPLETT.

Mrs. BROUSSARD died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, in a local hospital. Survivors include her husband, Clifford BROUSSARD of the home; three daughters, Gail, Telesia and Tara; two sons, Larry and Trent; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Delois.

Funeral services for Cheryl CORBITT, 45, of Winnsboro, Tex. formerly of Sallisaw, were held Tuesday, at 2 p.m. at the Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Mrs. CORBITT was born March 9, 1956, in Fayetteville, N.C., to Thomas James and Viola Ann CORBITT. She died Nov. 11, 2001. Survivors include two sisters, Debra and Judy; one brother, James; her maternal grandmother, Beulah MARX; her paternal grandfather, Tom CORBIT; and several other relatives and friends, including Stephanie, Christina, Laura, Robert, Cari, Ashlee and Blaine.

She married Eual "Smoky" COX on Nov. 18, 1933, in Muskogee. He preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1986. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Glen and his wife Wanda, Ronald "Butch" and his wife Sharon and Wendell and his wife Regina and Tommy and his wife Evelyn; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and her husband Paul and Virginia and her husband Spuddy; 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Sue, Dona and Imogene and her husband, Max; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Rev. A.W. and his wife Myrtle and Otto.

Mrs. FARGO was born Jan. 15, 1923, in Brent community, to Jack HARMON and Ima (CAMPBELL) HARMON. She died Friday, Nov. 16, 2001, in Gans. She married Jess B. "Monk" FARGO on Oct. 22, 1939, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12,  1989. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and James and Janice and Bob; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles and Karen and Jesse and Kathy and Johnny; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Opal; one brother, Billy; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, J.B. FARGO on April 2, 1961.

Mrs. MAHLE died Friday, Nov. 16, 2001, in a Columbus, Ga. hospital. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Carey and Lyndia and Jim; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Bobbi; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Virgil  "Dock" and Orman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley WILLIAMS.

Survivors include one daughter, Margaret; one granddaughter; one step-grandson, Tommy HILL; two great-grandchildren, Amanda and Daniel; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Woodrow GREEN, Milton GREEN and Robert GREEN and two sisters, Viola ASBILL and Edith HAMILTON.

She died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001, in Sallisaw. She was six months pregnant with her unborn child (Stanley Dean ROSS) who died with her. Mrs. ROSS married Stanley Leon ROSS on June 13, 2000, at the Overlook, Lake Tenkiller. Survivors include her husband, of the home; her mother, Vicki DOBBS; her father, Duane DOBBS; two sisters, Renee and Deleena; one brother, Robert; one nieces, Courtney Ann; one nephew, Dillon Duane; adopted grandparents, Jim and Elanor STEWART;  and several cousins and other relatives and friends.

TOON, 84, of Arkoma, were held Tuesday, at 10 a.m. at the Arkoma First Baptist Church, with burial in Fleetwood Cemetery in Hanson, under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one son, Terry; two daughters, Sherrie and Kimberly; three step-sons, Jack and Mike and Rick; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Tommy; one sister, Donna; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends, including lifelong friend Jerry.

Mrs. FORTNER died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, in Poteau. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and husband Porter, Cloe and her husband Dick of Tulsa and Patsy and her husband Ronnie; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Myra and Imogene; and other relatives and friends, including Daphane. Mr. FORD was born Feb. 9, 1931, in Enid, to Wayne B. FORD and Okla (PAYNE) FORD. He died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, in Lubbock. He married Dorothy Ann COOK on Mar 13, 1952, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include is wife, of the home; two daughters, Mary and Rebecca; two sons, Tom and Phillip; three grandchildren; one brother, David; cousins, Bob, Donna and Ivanell, brother-in-law, Frank and niece Linda . He was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Ann ROARK in May 2001.

Betty Evelyn MURRY, 76, of Gore died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, in Gore. Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born August 14, 1925, in Muskogee, to Hugh CROWLEY and Della (OTIS) CROWLEY.  Survivors include one sister Velma; one nieces; five nephews; and her special friends, Alvin and Pat. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles MURRY; one brother, Virgil CROWLEY; and one sister, Arlone GARDNER.

William Henry NEWCOMER IV, 86, of Sallisaw, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, in Sallisaw. He was born Aug. 9, 1915, in York, Neb., to William Henry NEWCOMER III. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He married Elleise PATTON on Feb. 14, 1993, in Denver, Colo. Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, William Henry V; five grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth and Natalie.

He died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Lona Mae (VILES) QUALLS of the home; seven sons and four daughter-in-laws, Richard and his wife Shirley  and Dale and his wife Joanna, Andy, Stephen and Tommy, Tarry and his wife Rhonda and Larry and his wife Andrea; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one sister, Bessie Lucille; two brothers, James Paul and Troy Eugene. HIRIAMS and Ermma Lee (GOODLOE) HIRIAMS. She died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, in a local hospital.
