Graveside services for Delmar Wayne BATY, 63, of Gans were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Richard Crawford officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. BATY was born on Oct. 23, 1948, in Stilwell to Alfred Hugh BATY and Mary Etta (GRESHAM) BATY. He died on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was a general laborer for Tyson and Hutson Foods. Survivors include one son, Pete BATY of Sallisaw; four sisters, Freeda KEITH of Montgomery, Texas, Joyce CASON of Gans, Janice GRAY of Muldrow and Treva LAIRD of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Jim BATY and Dale BATY, both of Sallisaw and Lloyd BATY of Huntsville, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mary Faith BITTLE, 75, of Sallisaw will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Sallisaw with the Rev. Brian Zinck and the Rev. Mark Hall officiating. Burial will be at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BITTLE was born on Aug. 15, 1936, in Sloan’s Chapel to James Preston MASTERSON and Gladys (FINE) MASTERSON. She died on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. She attended Sloan’s Chapel School from age 3 and attended Sallisaw Schools after the country school was consolidated with Sallisaw. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Northeastern State Teacher’s College in Tahlequah. She taught several years in Sallisaw, Fort Smith and Michigan Schools. She later worked for Cherokee Nation and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. In the late 1970s, she worked a short time for Garland Coal and Mining Company. The miners were on strike and Mary crossed the picket line to operate a Caterpillar belly dump. She was sent to school to learn the technique of TNT blasting for the coal. She was assigned that job permanently until the miners returned to work. She owned, with her mother, a picture framing shop. She was of the Baptist faith. She married Harvey Tom BITTLE on Sept. 22, 1977, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her husband, Tom of the home; daughter, Terri COX of Sallisaw; two grandsons, Nicholas and wife, Tinisha COX and Christopher COX; three great-grandchildren, Trinity, Tite and Cooper; stepdaughter, Tammye and husband, Don KINSER of Greenwood, Ark.; stepgrandson, Hunter KINSER; and her mother, of Sallisaw. Pallbearers will be Butch Gore, Joe Gore, Shawn McReynolds, Chad McReynolds, Mickey Chuculate, and Shea Humphrey. Funeral services for Geneva M. TACKETT EDGMON, 83, of Muskogee were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. EDGMON was born on Dec. 8, 1927, in Conway, Ark., to Herman TACKETT and Mary Edith (PRUITT) TACKETT. She died on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011 in Muskogee. She was a teacher. She married Clarence EDGMON on Sept. 20, 1947, in Tahlequah. He preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 1978. Survivors include three sons, Randy EDGMON of Broken Arrow and Rex EDGMON and Rocky EDGMON, both of Muskogee; one sister, Sue CRAZEN of Yukon; two brothers, Harold TACKETT of Fresno, Calif., and Howard TACKETT of Broken Arrow; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for James Michael FLEETWOOD, 48, of Brady, Texas, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Talpa Cemetery in Talpa, Texas under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home of Brady. Mr. FLEETWOOD died on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, in Brady. Survivors include his parents, James and Frankie FLEETWOOD of Muldrow; his wife, Christie FLEETWOOD of Brady; one daughter, Amanda FLEETWOOD; two sons, Aaron and Evan FLEETWOOD; one stepdaughter, Dawnya SMITH; one sister, Melissa HAMILTON; one brother, Roger FLEETWOOD; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Nancy Lynn HIGGINS, 67, of Spiro will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Cemetery with the Rev. O.M. Wilson officiating under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. She was born on March 28, 1944, in Fowler, Calif., to William Thomas and Lois Irene (SHAFER) HIGGINS. She died on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, in Spiro. Survivors include one daughter, Lesa UNDERWOOD of Alma, Ark.; one son, Russell DOWDY Jr. of Okmulgee; two brothers, William Thomas HIGGINS II of Burbank, Wash., and Martin Harry HIGGINS of Cameron Park, Calif.; her mother, Lois HIGGINS of Burbank; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Joe HOUSER, 72, of Gans were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Ed Baker officiating. Burial was at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. HOUSER was born on July 20, 1939, in Stilwell to Robert A. HOUSER and Grace (TUNE) HOUSER. He died on Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, in Gans. He was an assembly lineman at Rheem for 31 years. He married Harriet Lou WOOD on March 8, 1998, in Gans. Survivors include his wife, Harriet HOUSER of the home; two daughters, Rebecca REXROAD of Largo, Fla., and Deborah JONES of Corinth, Texas; two sons, Chester ADAMS of Wolfe City, Texas and David ADAMS of Ector, Texas; two sisters, Mary RUTLEDGE and Wilma BROCKUS, both of Tulsa; one brother, Jerry HOUSER of Catoosa; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were family and friends.

Funeral services for Constance “Connie” LONDON, 57, of Roland are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Bro. Jay Jones officiating. Burial is at Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. She was born on Nov. 20, 1953, in Woodland, Calif., to Gene LONDON and Nancy Ann (HENNAGAIN) LONDON. She died on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, in Roland. She was a retired manager from Ford New Holland Tractor Company and was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Rachael VEJRASKA and her husband, Dan BRANSTROM of Peggs; her parents, of Sallisaw; one brother and sister-n-law, Dan and Cindy LONDON of Redmond, Wash.; two granddaughters, Gabriel HOAG and Abbigail BRANSTROM; and one nephew, Michael Eugene LONDON. Pallbearers are Steve London, Bruce Tabor, Terry Rackley, Richard Tabor, Calvin Harvey and Chris Turner. Honorary pallbearers are Tom London, Greg Walters, Darrol London and Michael London. Shirley MATLOCK of Muldrow was born on Oct. 5, 1926, in Fort Smith, Ark., to William G. and Jessie L. (ESTES) FLIPPIN and passed away, Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, in Fort Smith at the age of 85. She is survived by two daughters, Shirl GRAY and Linda BREEDLOVE and husband, Bill, all of Muldrow; one son, Glenn MATLOCK of Muldrow; 10 grandchildren, Billi BARNES, Melynda SMITH, Walton BREEDLOVE, Mandi CHILDERS, Don LEWIS Jr., Chris MATLOCK, Phillip MATLOCK, Kevin MATLOCK , Kellie LESSLIE and April JONES; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leo Phillip MATLOCK, two sons, Phillip Ray MATLOCK and Richard Lee MATLOCK and one great-grandson, Tyler BREEDLOVE. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel with the Rev. Shawn Money officiating. Burial followed at Blackjack Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Jeanne Alice McCULLAH, 72, of Muldrow are being held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Greg Cloud officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. McCULLAH was born on March 2, 1939, in Salem, Mass., to Albert Joseph DUBE` and Bess (BALL) DUBE`. She died on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was an LPN at Holt-Krock Clinic and Medi-Homes. She married Edward Gordon McCULLAH on Jan. 18, 1959, in Beverly, Mass. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1995. Survivors include two daughters, Rita WHITE of Muldrow and Rebecca KHILLING of Spiro; two sons, Matthew McCULLAH of Muldrow and Luke McCULLAH of Watts; one sister, Ruth WATERS of Kissimmee, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Jack STRAUT of Gore was born on Oct. 24, 1947, in Suffern, N.Y., to John Henry and Ima (EMANUS) STRAUT Jr., and passed away on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, in Dallas, Texas at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife, Michelle of the home; three daughters, Laurie WETZEL and husband, Jim of Hillburn, N.Y., Jessica STRAUT of Fort Gibson and Alisha GATES of Vian; four sons, William Joseph STRAUT and wife, Regina of Gore, Robert Lee STRAUT and wife, Tawny of Fort Gibson, Danny GATES Jr. of Vian and Travis STRAUT of Oakland, N.J.; his father, of Gore; seven grandchildren, Shelby, Christopher, Ashley, Jansen, Baylee, Kane and Brenden; and three sisters, Virginia SPINELLA of Melbourne, Fla., Margo PORCELLI of Old Tappan, N.J., and Jacqui STRAUT of Putnam Valley, N.Y. He was a member of the Catholic faith and loved to fish, hunt and play his guitar. He was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his mother, two grandchildren, Angel STRAUT and Branden John STRAUT and one sister, Sharon LANDGRAF. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Vian Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Edna G. BUSH BIGFEATHER, 84, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Larry Pritchett officiating. Burial will be at Bush Cemetery in Marble City under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BIGFEATHER was born on Sept. 25, 1927, in Marble City to Sam BUSH and Susie (FIELDS) BUSH. She died on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, in Marble City. She was a homemaker. She married Walter BIGFEATHER on March 1, 1946, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1992. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Leslie TONIHKA of Tulsa and Juanita and Bill GOOMBI of Wagoner; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Walter BIGFEATHER of Marble City, Robert and Tammy BIGFEATHER and Troy and Tanya BIGFEATHER, all of Stilwell and Jerry and Trish BIGFEATHER of Bunch; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Helen Louise BUSH, one granddaughter, and two brothers, Sam Ed BUSH Sr. and Norman BUSH. Pallbearers will be Kenny Tonihka, Shawn Tonihka, Billy Goombi, Brian Bigfeather, Wesley Bigfeather and Jeffrey Bigfeather.

Misty Ann JOHNSON, age 36, from Vian passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011. Misty was born May 29, 1975, to Claude Howard and Rose Ann GATES in Muskogee. On June 27, 1993, Misty married Larry JOHNSON. Misty was a very outgoing and loving person. She could always light up a room upon her entrance. She loved hunting, cooking, reading, crafts, and most of all being a mother. Misty was an amazing daughter, mom, wife, sister, aunt and friend. Misty is preceded in death by her father-in-law, George JOHNSON. Misty leaves behind to cherish her memories, her parents, Claude Howard and Rose Ann GATES of Gore; her husband, Larry JOHNSON of Gore; two daughters, Shelby Elizabeth and Autumn Brooke (Mowgli) JOHNSON; mother-in-law, Helen JOHNSON of Gore; eight brothers, Tom GATES and wife, Nancy of Haltom City, Texas, Jim GATES and wife, Donna of Gore, Johnny GATES and wife, Pattie of Stilwell, Ron GATES and wife, Teresa of Gore, Mark GATES and wife, Dana of Gore, Tracy GATES of Gore, Forrest GATES and wife, Tonya of Gore, and William GATES and wife, Jill of Gore; four sisters, Nancy TEAFATILLER and husband, Calvin of Webbers Falls, Barbara JAMES and husband, John of Gore, Terry BOX and husband, Glen of Gore, and Angela FULTS and husband, Cliff of Godley, Texas; friends, Shane MANNON, Larry TERRELL, Danny WALKER, Dan and Becky CARTER, and many more; and Misty held at unique bond with family John and Jessie JAMES and John Michael GATES. Funeral services for Annis Holiday RICHARDSON, 70, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Family Gospel Outreach in Muldrow with Bro. David Prewett officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. RICHARDSON was born on Feb. 16, 1941, in Van Buren, Ark., to James Walter Holiday and Susan (BENTLEY) DAVIS. She died on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was an Over The Road heavy haul truck driver. She married Randy Mark RICHARDSON on Oct. 6, 1986, in Surprise, Ariz. Survivors include her husband, Randy of the home; one daughter, Anna REAL of Winslow, Ariz.; five sons, Willy KLUMS, James MISKELL, Bobby MISKELL and Freddy MISKELL all of Muldrow and Mike MISKELL of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Elzina, Myrtle and Mary; 32 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters.

Patty Lee SPEIR, 81, life-long resident of Roland left this life on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark., surrounded by family after a short illness. She was the first-born to Pink SNIDER and Daisy (PRICE) SPEIR on Sept. 12, 1930, in Paw Paw. Patty married James L. “Sonny” SPEIR Jr. on July 19, 1946, and was the proud and beloved mother of four children. For over 30 years, Patty was known for her smiling face and kind words as a Safeway checker until she retired in 1993. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Muldrow. Loved ones who left this life before her were, her husband, James L. “Sonny” SPEIR Jr.; parents, Pink SNIDER and Daisy (PRICE) SNIDER; son, James E. “Jim” SPEIR; brothers, Tommy Dale SNIDER and James SNIDER; sisters, Kathryn DEESE and Sammie Sue KNIGHTON. Cherishing her memory will be her son, Bob SPEIR and wife Jackie; daughters, Kathy WILLIAMS and husband, Jack, Zenda RUTHERFORD and her husband, Rick, all of Roland and daughter-in-law, Teresa SPEIR of Wagoner; sisters, Bobbie STOUT and Francis ROTHSCHILLER, both of Roland; 10 grandchildren, Eric SPEIR, Deanna BROWN, Scott SPEIR, Dawn CROFF, Charlotte JOHNSON, Robert SPEIR Jr., Angela LOOPER, Lori WIGGINS, Chad WILLIAMS and Casie Jo HULL; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Patty was the family anchor to siblings, as well as children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to family and friends alike. Patty will be missed by all whose life she touched. The service to celebrate her life will be 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Muldrow with burial at the Roland Cemetery. There will be a family visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Muldrow. Services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Graveside services for Clara Darcus ARMSTRONG, 86, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with Bro. Daniel Smith and Stephanie Robbins-Qualls officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. ARMSTRONG was born on Sept. 16, 1925, in Stilwell to Jasper Willis ARNOLD and Rebecca Jane (FUNBURG) ARNOLD. She died on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, in Sallisaw. She was a homemaker. She married Eugene Levi “Gene” ARMSTRONG on May 13, 1949, in Tahlequah. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1982. Survivors include two sons, Ray and Anthony ARMSTRONG, both of Sallisaw; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren.

Graveside services for Gary Don CHANDLER, 59, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gans Cemetery with Bro. Phil Tally officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. CHANDLER was born on Oct. 23, 1952, in Sallisaw to Leonard Daniel CHANDLER and Virginia Juanita (BROWN) CHANDLER. He died on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was a general laborer. Survivors include his wife, Kathy CHANDLER; two daughters Brandie Michelle NORTHERN of Muldrow and Jennifer Leigh LORENZO CRUSE of Roland; one son, Michael Shawn CHANDLER of Roland; three sisters, Gail CHANDLER of Muldrow, Sonja GODWIN of Greenwood, Ark., and Lisa RICE of Van Buren, Ark.; two brothers, Steve CHANDLER of Muldrow and Brian CHANDLER of Roland; his mother, of Muldrow; mother-in-law, Nadine MYERS; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial service for Earl W. HAYNES, 81, of Sallisaw was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the First United Methodist Church in Sallisaw. The Rev. Vernon Smith officiated. Cremation was under direction of Lewis Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Ark., and the remains will be interred in Michigan. Mr. HAYNES was born on Nov. 11, 1929, in Dafter, Mich., to William Miles HAYNES and Catherine (SPENCER) HAYNES. He died Nov. 4, 2011, in Fort Smith. He is survived by three daughters, Karen SHAMBLIN and Ruth HORNER of Oklahoma City, and Patricia HAYNES of Sallisaw; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and one adopted great-grandchild; and two sisters, Susan Alicia Jean CAPTAIN of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., and Leola EASTMAN, also of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Clyde, Ross, Guy, Clayton and Miles HAYNES; five sisters, Betty PONATH, Violet HALL, Marie NEWBAKER, Gertrude MATHEAU and Wilda Dean HAYNES; and one grandson. Mr. HAYNES was a proud Korean War veteran and member of the Michigan National Guard in which he attained the rank of corporal and where he received several medals

Paul Edward “Bud” JONES, 78, of Sallisaw died on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, in Sallisaw. He was born on Aug. 12, 1933, in Bonanza, Ark, to William Jennings JONES and Lillian Fern (STOCKDALE) JONES. No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was a mechanic. He married Nancy Leavel HOLT on April 2, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Nancy JONES of the home; five daughters, Linda Leah JONES BROWN of Hackett, Ark., Judy JONES BROWN MALICK of Pocola, Teresa McMURRAY and Kathy CHRONISTER, both of Muldrow and Mary TAYLOR of Kingfisher; one son, Bobby Jack ARMSTRONG of Fort Smith; 27 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, his first wife, Rachel ARMSTRONG JONES and one brother, Jackie Leon JONES.

Graveside services for King S. “Pete” MOSS, 85, formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hulbert with Pastor Bernadean Carter officiating under the direction of Seaman-Blanke Funeral Service of Chelsea. Mr. MOSS was born on Nov. 6, 1925, in Hulbert to Millard Fillmore MOSS and Emma (BREWER) MOSS. He died on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, in Chelsea. He was a rancher and raised sheep, horses and cattle. He enjoyed buying, trading and going to auctions and being around animals. Survivors include his wife, Colleen of the home; one sister, Clara MOSS OWEN of Gans; a son, David MOSS; one granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn, his parents, one sister, Mildred WIN EGARNER JORDAN and an infant brother. He was also preceded in death by a half-sister, Anna and 13 half-brothers, including Oswald, Garfield, Anthony, Elmer, Bumper, Jack, Jerry, and Frank MOSS.

Ruby Faye ENLOW PHILLIPS, of Wichita, Kan., peacefully entered the world of angels on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, while surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Maize, Kan., under the direction of Culbertson-Smith Mortuary of Seneca, Kan. Ruby was first and foremost a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and dear friend to all lives she touched. Her greatest joys were family gatherings. She loved gardening, and was a natural at floral arrangement and holiday decorating. She never found a project she wasn’t willing to tackle. Ruby was born in Round Mountain, Okla., on Nov. 2, 1929. She was a graduate of Vian High School. She and Bob moved to Wichita in 1951, and raised their four children there. She was employed at Coleman Company for 14 years. After retirement, she and Bob returned first to Tahlequah, then back to their roots in Vian. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary there. After Bob passed away, she relocated back to Wichita to be near family. Those who knew her will miss her sense of humor and love of life. Graveside services for Robert Dean PULLIAM, 73, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., with Tad Rhodes officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. PULLIAM was born on Nov. 12, 1937, in Pryor to Ted HUNTLEY and Bertha Myrtle HUNTLEY. He died on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, in Fayetteville, Ark. He was a retired U. S. Navy veteran. He served 28 years. Survivors include one daughter Deneice Ellen TURNER of Marble City; and one grandchild.

Charles Thomas SAINER of Sallisaw was born on July 11, 1924, in East Liverpool, Ohio to Charles E. and Gladys M. (HANCOCK) SAINER and passed away on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark., at the age of 87. He graduated high school at East Liverpool in 1942. Then entered the U.S. Navy and served as a tail gunner during World War II. He married Genevieve STEPHENSON and had Carolyn and Charles W. In 1957, he married Esther KELLEY and adopted Kaye and Jerry and later they had Thom and Tina. He was a volunteer fireman in Warsaw, Ind., for 35 years and received fireman of the year in 1971. He worked as a welder and pipe mechanic for NIPSCO until he was 50 years old. They moved to Sallisaw in 1974, and opened the Sonic Drive In. He was famous for handing out wooden nickels that were only good at the Sonic for a drink. He was an active Mason, Shriner (three-wheeler clown for 18 years), chamber member, Lions Club and former board member of Oklahoma Restaurant Association and American Legion, (63 years). He also played an excellent Jolly-Man-in-Red for the town Christmas Parade. He is survived by his wife, Esther of the home; three daughters, Carolyn BLACKFORD and husband, Mike of Warsaw, Kaye PIERSON and husband, Mike of Moore and Tina SHOCKEY and husband, Gene of Russellville, Ark.; two sons, Jerry SAINER and wife, Juanita of Katy, Texas and Thom SAINER and wife, Dawn of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Bertha KIRK of Warsaw; 26 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Charles W. SAINER. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with the Reverend Doctor Trevor Smith officiating and A.J. Henshaw and Nina Shuman speaking. Nadine Lolita SMITH,  78, of Muldrow died on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was born on Feb. 18, 1933, in Austin, Minn., to Irwin BALDUS and Mildred (WAGAND) BALDUS. No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. She was a homemaker and drove a school bus. She married Edward Charles SMITH on Jan. 17, 1986, in Kasson, Minn. Randi SULLIVAN was born on Sept. 20, 1957, in Hobbs, N.M., the daughter of Roscoe WILLIAMS and Jean BROWNING BYRD. She married Donald Gene SULLIVAN on Jan. 13, 1992, in Corsicana, Texas. He preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2005, in Muskogee. Randi was a former dispatcher, jailer and deputy sheriff and a member of Journey Church in Sallisaw. She was a very loving mother and so tender hearted to anyone who was in need. She loved her children, parents, sister and family. Randi was a very private person who lived for her loved ones. Mrs. SULLIVAN passed this life on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, in Sallisaw. Survivors are one daughter, Meagan RODRIGUEZ of Sallisaw; one son, Kevin GORDON of Sallisaw; her mother, Jean BYRD and husband, Roy of Sallisaw; her father, Roscoe WILLIAMS of Hobbs; one sister, Angie and husband, Danny TILLER of Amarillo, Texas; one niece, Vanessa and husband, Jon PERMENTER; her aunt, Evelyn McINTYER; and several other relatives and friends. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery, in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. ARMSTRONG was born on Aug. 16, 1925, in Mulberry, Ark., to Hugh PLYMALE and Nora. She died on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, in Roland. She was the co-owner and operator of Fort Smith Auto Salvage in Moffett. She married John Ples ARMSTRONG on Dec. 18, 1960, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2011. Survivors include one daughter, Janet HODGENS of Fort Smith; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dale BURKE of Santa Barbara, Calif. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Evelyn HOWE and Gladys KUYKENDALL, and two brothers, J.D. and Billy PLYMALE. Funeral services for Edgar Franklin “Ed” HULS, 90, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, in the Chapel of the Garden at Rice Funeral Service in Claremore. Burial will be at Dawes Cemetery under the direction of Rice Funeral Service of Claremore. Mr. HULS was born on Aug. 9, 1921, near Adair, in Mayes County, to Elmer Richard and Clara (GREEN) HULS. He died on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011. He grew up in northeast Oklahoma near Ketchum. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe and North Africa in World War II. He was a welder with Tulsa Screw Products. Survivors include his children, Beverly BABER, Larry of Sallisaw, Pete HULS and wife, Paula of Chelsea, Jim HULS and wife, Laqita of Big Cabin and Rick HULS and wife, Dora, of Chelsea; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Linda HULS of Depew, AlmaGene DAWES and Mae DEAN and husband, Richie, all of Chelsea; brothers Billy SHOEMAKER and wife, Jeanie of Chelsea and Richard HULS of Depew. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elizabeth, his son, Jerry HULS and an infant son.

Kenneth E. REINSHUTTLE O’BRIEN, died -Nov. 4, 2011 Kenny was born on July 14, 1956, in Saginaw, Mich., to Joyce NOLAN and Ken REINSHUTTLE Sr. In 1975, he moved to Sallisaw. He worked as a plasterer and artificial brick mason. He lived and worked in Louisiana and Florida while in this line of work. He leaves behind his fiancé, Angie ROBBINS and her daughter, Katee of the home; as well as his son Chris and daughter, Brittney, both of Louisiana; his mother, Joyce O’BRIEN; brother, David REINSHUTTLE; sisters, Denise ROWELL and Peggy FIELDS. He had two nieces, Jodie CONINE and Judie ROWELL and five nephews, Clay FIELDS, Stephen REINSHUTTLE , Cody FIELDS, Sean REINSHUTTLE and Laman ROWELL. He was a wonderful, loving man who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

W.G. “Butch” LAMB was born on Dec. 11, 1947, in Fort Smith, Ark., the son of Willis Garland “Goat” LAMB Sr. and Wanda Lou (PHILLIPS) LAMB. He married Linda Kay TAYLOR on Oct. 28, 1978, in Sallisaw. He was a 1965 graduate of Sallisaw High School, a U.S. Air Force Veteran of Vietnam and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Postal employee for 37 years and a member of the Sallisaw Fire Department for over 20 years. Butch was proud to represent the City of Sallisaw as a third term City commissioner. He was infamously known for devoting his time to helping other people. His most enjoyable moments were spent with his family and friends and especially surrounded with them at his lake home. Mr. LAMB passed this life on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, in Fort Smith after having attained the age of 63 years, 11 months and one day. Survivors include his wife, Frances OSBORNE of the home; two daughters, Norma RIGGS of Roland and Karen JONES of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry OSBORNE and Jerry and Karla OSBORNE, all of Roland; one brother, Tom OSBORNE of Roland; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Oreta McGEE and Virgie WILSON, five brothers, Jessie, J.E., Virgil, Bill and Homer OSBORNE and son-in-law, Clyde RIGGS. Pallbearers are Jamie, Jason and Justin Riggs, Garry and Jacob Jones and John Boyett II.

Funeral services for Ramona Lee PROCK, 80, of Hackett, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Haven Heights Baptist Church in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was at Keota Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Ark. Mrs. PROCK died on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, in Fort Smith. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include three daughters, Vicky WILSON and Lori BLACK, both of Hackett, Ark., and Kimberly HOWARD of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sons, Ken HOWARD of Van Buren, Ark., and Randy HOWARDof Muskogee; one sister, Mabel COONS of Sallisaw; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Justin Black, Nick Howard, Adam Howard, Eric Byrd, Daniel Wilson and Cooper Black.

Funeral services for Glenn COLLINS, 79, of Vian were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Vian with the Rev. Loren Collins and Steve McEver officiating. Burial was at McEver Family Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Vian. Mr. COLLINS was born on Feb. 24, 1932, in Blackgum to James “Kelse” COLLINS and Alice (CRAIGHEAD) COLLINS. He died on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, in Vian. He was a stonemason and a minister. He married Sadie COLLINS in August of 1956. She preceded him in death on Aug. 25, 2005. Survivors include two daughters, Beth COLLINS of Vian and Marilyn COCHRAN of Stilwell; three sons, Mike COLLINS of Sallisaw and Mark COLLINS and Neal COLLINS, both of Vian; two sisters, Grace BOTELLO of Grand Prairie, Texas and Joyce COLLINS of Vian; two brothers, Jimmy COLLINS of North Carolina and Larry COLLINS of Memphis, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda KELLEY, son, Skeeter McEVER,  his parents, sister, Vina Lou BREWSTER and a brother, Bruce COLLINS. Pallbearers were Grant Collins, Matthew Cochran, Mark Cochran, John Killer, Josh Collins and Joe McEver.

Graveside services for Noble EDDINGFIELD, 78, of Park Hill are being held at 2 p.m. Friday at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. EDDINGFIELD was born on May 20, 1933, in Elkland, Mo. He died on Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, in Tulsa. He married Geneva EDDINGFIELD on Nov. 29, 1971, in Stilwell. She preceded him in death on Nov. 9, 2010. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and James STILL of Tulsa and Carolyn and Floyd MILLSAP of Tampa, Fla.; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Joe and Freda JOLLY of Bristow and Larry and Gary HORN, both of Broken Arrow; two sisters, Dorma and Mildred; two brothers, Sheridan and Miltford; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mr. JORDAN was born on Aug. 18, 1943, in Akins to John Wesley JORDAN and Geraldine (ANDREWS) JORDAN BURCHAM. He died on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, in Stilwell. He was a retired truck driver for Levi Carlile Trucking. He married Patsy Ann TORBETT on Sept. 1, 1966, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Patsy JORDAN of the home; two sons, James JORDAN Jr., and Johnny JORDAN, both of Stilwell; seven sisters, Mary DABBS of Greenwood, Ark., Donna EDWARDS of Muldrow, Joy MARTIN of Sallisaw, and Carol GANN, Marilyn HOPKINS, Susan POINDEXTER and Mary JORDAN, all of Stilwell; five brothers, Ken JORDAN, John JORDAN, J.R. Cremation is under the direction of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright. Mrs. MITCHELL was born on March 7, 1946, in Tahlequah to Jim WATTS and Alma Estie (CHISUM) WATTS. She died on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, in Drumright. She was raised and educated in Gore. After receiving a degree in accounting, she joined the U.S. Marine Corps. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafting, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She was an active volunteer and a member of the Olive First Baptist Church and the Quilting Club. She married Dana Edward MITCHELL on Dec. 17, 1965, in Washington, D.C. Survivors include her husband, Dana MITCHELL III of the home; children, Vivian of Drumright and Dana IV of Sapulpa; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Linda, Charles, Wanda, Gertie, Willie, Bobby, Benny, Joyce, Brenda, and Danny; and several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral services for Donald V. “Donnie” REECE, 61, of Webbers Falls were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God in Webbers Falls with the Revs. Wayne Gilreath and Stan Ledford officiating. Burial was at the Reece Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. REECE was born on March 20, 1950, in Webbers Falls to Riley and Nettie (MARTIN) REECE. He died on Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, in Tulsa. He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended the First Assembly of God Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and the owner of Draco Gun Shop. He married Emma GOAD on Oct. 10, 1986, in Webbers Falls. Survivors include his wife, Emma REECE of the home; children, Donnie REECE and wife, Patty of Muskogee, Paula HYSLOP, Michael REECE, Michelle HIEBERT and husband, all of Webbers Falls and Crystal WHITE and husband, Michael of Dustin; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leon REECE of Webbers Falls and Ray REECE and wife, Linda of Willard, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth REECE.

Graveside services for Arlon Ray TARKINTON, 54, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Muldrow Memory Garden Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Nolan officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. TARKINTON was born on Oct. 15, 1957, in Oklahoma City to Johnny TARKINTON and Louise (PUNNEO) TARKINTON BROWN. He died on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, in Tulsa. He was an offshore driller. He married Melanie Michelle WILLIAMS on Feb. 14, 1994, in Eureka Springs, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Melanie TARKINTON of the home; one daughter, Ashley MILLER of Los Angeles, Calif.; one son, Riley TARKINTON of the home; his mother, of Muldrow; and one sister, Sharlene STAPP of Muldrow. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Funeral services for Mae STEPHENS VINSON were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Gore with the Rev. George Brock III officiating under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mrs. VINSON was born on Sept. 21, 1931, in Milfay to Dave and Marie STEPHENS. She died on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011. She married Nolan VINSON on April 3, 1954. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Ross VINSON; daughter, Sherry SELVIDGE; four brothers, Paul, Edward and Jerry STEPHENS and Mike INGRAM; four sisters, Ivoria CONLEY, Ruth TIPKEN, Donia SMITH and Barbara BEALL; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Janet WARD, son, Mark VINSON, her brother, James STEPHENS, sister, Pam PIERCE and a grandson. The family prefers memorial donations in memory of Mae to the church, Baptist Children’s Home or your favorite charity.

Funeral services for Willis Otis “Dickie” JOHNSON Jr., 63, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at noon Saturday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. James Jones officiating. Burial is at Center Point Cemetery in Redland under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. Mr. JOHNSON died on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, in a local hospital. He was a graduate of Roland High School and retired from Colt Industries. Survivors include two daughters, Denise and Roberta JOHNSON, both of Fort Smith; his father, Willis JOHNSON Sr., of Muldrow; one sister, Phyllis BELL of Muldrow; seven brothers, Ted of Fort Smith, and James, Sherman, Harvey, Richard, Gary and Les, all of Muldrow; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are his brothers. The family will receive visitors and friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
