Graveside services for Beverly A. CLARK, 62, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Blackjack Cemetery, northwest of Muldrow, with the Rev. Al Ruckman officiating. Burial was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CLARK was born Dec. 4, 1943, in Fort Smith to Fred Lee PETREE and Alene (LASITER) PETREE. She died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her husband, James CLARK; two daughters, Lisa, and Karen; two sons Kenneth, and Bert R.; her mother, Alene LEWIS; three sisters, Nancy Karen, Christine and Fredia; two step-sisters, Lahoma and Carrie; 15 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Paul Harrison McPHAIL, one daughter, Leslie Joann McPHAIL, her father, one sister, Lauretta Joan PETREE and step-father, Bonnie R. LEWIS.

Funeral services for Thelma DEAN, 72, of Fayetteville, N.C., formerly of Moffett, are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Williams officiating. Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. DEAN was born April 1, 1934, in Moffett. She died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, in Fayetteville. Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn, Laverne and Sondra; son, Donald and his wife Valerie; daughters-in-law, Trilba and Virginia; sisters, Geneva, Acie and Margie ; sister-in-law, Bernice; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Rickey and Robert WILLIAMS.

Funeral services for Ronda Jean ADAMS McNEALY, 42, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Rick Osburn officiating. Burial was in Long Cemetery north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. McNEALY was born July 31, 1964, in Sallisaw to Claude Delton ADAMS and Wonda Mae (FLEETWOOD) PARKER. She died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include her companion, Ken; two daughters, Helen Nicole, and Megan Suzanne; three sons, Dalton Wade, and Nevada Don and Larry Dakota "Cody" ; mother, Wonda FLEETWOOD PARKER; three sisters Ella Mai and Ada Christina, and Rhita Ann; one brother, Clayton Jefferson; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services for O.L. "Leroy" NICHOLS, 72, of Roland were held at 12 p.m. Friday at the Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery, with military honors, in Fort Smith, under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. NICHOLS died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife, Kay of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Debbie; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Dave; and son, Tony; sisters, Audra and Helen.; sister-in-law, Betty; brother, Jackie; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for James PIGG, 69, of Van Buren, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr. Pigg was born Aug. 17, 1937, in Greenwood, Ark., to Cecil and Opal PIGG. He died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, in Van Buren. Survivors include his wife, Nancy of the home; two sons, Mike and Jamie; three step-sons, Don and wife Debbie, Doug and wife Teresa, and Daniel and wife Alie; step-daughter, Della; brother, Roy; sister, Barbara; four grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Emma Evelyn BLAYLOCK TABOR, 88, of Muldrow are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Victory Temple Pentecostal Church in Roland, with the Rev. Kenneth Bynum officiating. Burial is in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, northeast of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. She was born Nov. 13, 1917, in the Liberty Community to John Alaner BLAYLOCK and Julia Elizabeth (HILDERBRAND) BLAYLOCK. She died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006 in Muldrow. She married Oscar Corbin TABOR June 28, 1934, in Sequoyah County. He preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 2002, in Roland. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Ima Jean and Eugene, Kathryn and Floyd, Geraldine and Billy, and Donna and Robert; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Ray and Pauline, and Ronnie and Elaine; two sisters, Naomi and Eunia; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, twin infant daughters, one sister, Edna SUTTON, and one brother, Edgar BLAYLOCK.

Burial is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. BOONE was born on July 1, 1931, in El Paso, Texas. He died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, in Roland.

Funeral services for Rev. Oris Dewayne FINLEY, 72, of Roff, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Trinity Baptist Church in Ada with Revs. Thomas Hatley and Steve Wilburn officiating. Burial was in Lightning Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home of Ada. Rev. FINLEY was born Aug. 1, 1934, in Beebe, to Billy Floyd and Nettie Anne (LAYNE) FINLEY. He died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, in Sallisaw. He married Velma Ruth GRAHAM, June 6, 1959, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Velma Ruth FINLEY of the home; two sons, Bill and his wife Robin, and Rev. Mike and his wife Corona; one daughter, DeLayne; one brother, Billy Merrill; four grandchildren.

Cook officiating, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Pocola. Mr. JONES was born April 13, 1929, in Cherry Valley, Ark. He died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Lou Ann JONES of the home; three sons, Sam, Ron and Bob; sister, Frances; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Jimmy Dwayne LEUTY, 57, of Atoka County, formerly of Sallisaw and Muldrow, are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Brown's Chapel in Atoka with Revs. Gene Sluder and Bob Graham officiating. Burial is in Bera Cemetery in Atoka, under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Atoka. Mr. Leuty was born Dec. 31, 1948, in Hemit, Calif., to O.P. and Nellie (BRANHAM) LEUTY. He died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, in Bentley. He married Donna Emma Lou BLEDSOE, Sept. 7, 1968, in Muldrow. Survivors include his wife, Donna LEUTY of the home; two sons, Kenneth Wayne and wife Shannon, and Michael Dwayne; mother Nellie LEUTY; sisters, Sharon and husband Bobby, and Carla and husband Wayne; brother, Roger and wife Clara;three grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father and in-laws, Bill and Scharlene BLEDSOE.

Burial was in the Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. RAINS was born Feb.2, 1928, in Pulaski County, Mo., to Paris William RAINS and Lola Mahala (HICKEY) RAINS. He died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, in Sallisaw. He married Edna WALLINGFORD on July 3, 1952, in Buena Park, Calif. Survivors include his wife Edna, RAINS of the home; four daughters, Judy, Janie., Joni, and Jill; one son, Bro. Dale; one brother, Kenneth , 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Lee RAINS.

Esther Simpson TRAW, 98, of Norman, formerly of Vian, was born April 19, 1908, in Edwards, Miss., to Dean and Maude Simpson. She died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, in Norman. Arrangements are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman. Survivors include two sons, Jim and his wife Jan, and John and his wife Michelle; five grandchildren; and five great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.J. TRAW and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services for Talitha "MILLER" WILSON, 91, of Webbers Falls, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Webbers Falls with Revs. Wendell Cox and Ron Butler officiating. Burial was in Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mrs. WILSON was born Jan. 13, 1915, in Arkansas, to Doug and Margaret CUMA. She died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, in Gore. She married Belmont MILLER, March 27, 1941, in Webbers Falls. He preceded her in death in 1988. She later married Norman WILSON who also preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, J.B. and Joyce, Arnold and Lois, Reynolds and Evie, Delbert and Antoinette, and Patricia; three brothers, Otis, Doug, and Gerald; two sisters, Elsie and Lura; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Henry, Gilbert and Andrew MILLER and two daughters, Beatrice MOORSE and Helen CROW.

Jack L. YAGER, 77, of Mountainburg, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the U.S. National Cemetery, with military honors, in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith. Mr. YAGER died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, in Mountainburg. Survivors include four daughters, Marilyn, Barbara, Rose and Carol; one son, Jack; two sisters, Joan and Rosieann; 10 grandchildren; and six great-granchildren.

Burial was in Ramsey Cemetery in Hackett under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Mr. CAHOON died on Friday, Oct. 6. 2006, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley and Paula; two sons, Kelvin and Melvin; two brothers, Dale and Carroll; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearlie CAHOON.

Mr. EDGEMON was born May 27, 1920, in the McKey Community, to Frank EDGMON(SP) and Bertha (BELL) EDGMON(SP). He died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Leona Mae BYERS, May 27, 1943, in Sallisaw. She preceded him in death, Oct. 11, 1990, in Sallisaw. She married John Terral GARDNER, Sept. 7, 1968, in Arleta, Calif. He married Glenda MATHIES, May 22, 1965, in Carson City, Nev. He married Joyce Joanne ROSE, Jan. 23, 1979, in Golden, Colo. Mrs. MASSA was born on Dec. 1, 1913, in Southmound, Kan., to Josiah AIKINS and Elizabeth Edith (CORNICK) AIKINS. She died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, in Sallisaw. She married Elmer MASSA on July 3, 1946, in Fort Smith, Ark. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1996, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Eda and Bobby; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rufus and Carolyn, and Frank and Betty; eight grandchildren; 12 grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Frederick William MATHIEU, 51, of Vian, are being held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian with the Honor guard provided by Stigler VFW, with Pastor Jean Rozell officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Sgt. Mathieu was born Nov. 8, 1954, in Chicago, to Clifford George MATHIEU and Marilyn Darlene (GREEN) MATHIEU. He died Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, in Vian. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Debra anf John; two nieces; one nephew; two great-nephews; and several other relatives and friends.

James Edward MOSES, 82, of Van Buren, Ark., died Oct. 10, 2006, in a local hospital. He was the owner and operator of Moses Plumbing in Van Buren for 45 years. He was a member of Kibler Assembly of God and the Civilian Conservation Corps. He is survived by his wife, Eva Grace, of the home; one daughter, Linda; one son, Danny; one brother, Burl; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

Funeral services for retired U.S. Army Major Virgil L. RAY, 71, of Roland, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, with full military honors, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. RAY died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Dolores Jean RAY of the home; five daughters, Cheryl, Robin, Sonya, Tammy, and Terry; two sons, Randy and Virgil L. "Buddy", III; 13 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Mr. STEWART was born on Feb. 28, 1938, in Gans, to Louie L. and Delta F. (STEVENSON) STEWART . He died on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, in Tulsa. Survivors include his wife, Chris STEWART; daughter, Sherrill and husband, Blake; son, Bob; two granddaughters; step-daughters, Jacki and husband, Maj. He died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, in Muldrow. He married Patsy JAMES on Dec. 29, 1972, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Pat JONES of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Pam, and John "Scooter", III and his wife, Heather; six grandchildren; mother, Lorene JONES; two sisters, Francean and Loretta; one brother, Randy; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mrs. RODGERS was born on May 23, 1920, in Gore to Joseph William "Bill" JACKSON and Mary Ollie (HOLEMAN) JACKSON. She died on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, in Sallisaw. She married Stanley Bill RODGERS on Sept. 29, 1937, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her husband, Bill RODGERS of the home; one daughter, Mary Ellen; two sons, Claude, and James and his wife, Stephanie; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Franklin and his wife, Myrtle. Burial was in Park Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah. Mr. ADAMS was born April 6, 1939, in Pharaoh, to Otis Stanley and Goldie M (SIVILS) ADAMS. He died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, in Keys. He married Alverna L. WILEMON, May 16, 1980. She preceded him in death in 2003. Survivors include three children, Michael and Donna, Terry and his family, and daughter, Schandra; sister, Kathy; brother, Jerry and wife Mary; two grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brother, Donald and one nephew, Phillip FOUST.

Mabel SANDERSON, 87, formerly of Sallisaw, died on Oct. 4, 2006. Services were under the arrangement of Leonard and Marker Funeral Home of Bixby. Mrs. SANDERSON was the youngest daughter of eight children born to Timothy and Jennie SEABOLT of Muldrow. She married Willie Heywood SANDERSON on Jan. 2, 1942. He preceded her in death.
