Coach Marty ROGERS, 50, of Hanson community passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. Marty was born July 25, 1960, in Fort Smith, the son of Jesse Willard ROGERS and Helen (WOOD) ROGERS. He married Amy Lee CULLUM on July 12, 1986, in Sallisaw.  Survivors are his wife Amy ROGERS of the home; three sons, Caleb, Joshua and Isaac; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Deanna, and Joetta and Rev. Jimmy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Rita, and Mickey and Cindy; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Junior and Marcia CULLUM; three brothers-in-law and spouses, Gary Don and Sheila, Greg, and Brad and Marlene; nieces and nephews; several other great-nieces, great-nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Muldrow High School Gymnasium with Bros. Bob Lever and John Tautfest officiating. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.

Farrell Dean RUSSELL, 71, of Sallisaw died on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, in Sallisaw.  No formal service is planned and cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. RUSSELL was born on Oct. 2, 1938, in Hanson to Jewell Earnest RUSSELL and Erma (YANCY) RUSSELL. He married Janice Colleen BEACH on March 17, 1958, in Klamath Falls, Ore. Survivors include his wife Janice RUSSELL of the home; one daughter, Cindy; two sons, Bobby and Farrell Jr.; two sisters, Christine and Brenda; one brother, Robert “Jim” ; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Allen Edward ANDREWS, 83, of Vian will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Terry Guthrie officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. ANDREWS was born on July 25, 1927, in Vian to Sid ANDREWS and Viola (MILLS) ANDREWS. He died on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married June PAYNE on Aug. 11, 1956, in Spiro. Survivors include his wife, June ANDREWS of the home; one daughter, Vanna; one son, Herb Dennis Jr.; four brothers, David, Sam,  Billy and Clarence; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several other relatives. He was preceded in death by one son, Edward ANDREWS, his parents, three brothers, Dan, Bud and Franklin ANDREWS, two stepsisters, Ruby MADORAN and Marie SLAUGHTER and two stepbrothers, Maurice and Jack ANDERSON.

Larry Dean “L.D” CHURCHILL, age 56 of Fort Smith, Ark., was born in Fort Smith on Nov. 14, 1953, to Lowell and Opal (FLOYD) CHURCHILL. L.D. left this life on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at Peachtree Hospice in Fort Smith. He leaves behind two sisters, Mrs. Lila Jane, and Dinah Joan; one brother, Rev. Lowell B. Jr.; two nephews; two nieces; on unofficial sister; his cousin, Melissa He also leaves one great-niece; and four great-nephews; many cousins; and many friends. As per his request, there will be no memorial services and the body was cremated under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw  for Linda Lou MITCHELL. Burial will be at Redbird Smith Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home. Mrs. MITCHELL. was born on March 17, 1951, in Claremore to Leo SMITH  and Fannie Mae LINCOLN SMITH KINCAID. She died on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Teddy MITCHELL. in Wright City. Survivors include her husband, Teddy MITCHELL. of the home; one daughter, Diane; stepson, James; six sisters, Doanna, Rejeania, Wydinca “Lou”, Wynenna, Devania, and Saruth; and two brothers, Eric and Leo Jr,. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael TEHEE.

Funeral services for Lorene BRACKEN, 86, of Short are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Bobby Boyakin officiating. Burial is in Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. BRACKEN was born on March 24, 1924, in Short to George Washington STITES and Lela Mae (SHACKENBUSH) STITES. She died on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010. She married Robert Junior “Bob” BRACKEN on June 24, 1959, in San Jose, Calif. He preceded her in death on Aug. 21, 2007. Survivors include one daughter, Debbie; one sister, Pauline; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in by her parents and one brother, Dallas Houston STITES.

Tuth “T-Bird” BIRD of Fort Smith, Ark., was born Oct. 10, 1950, in Vian to Jim and Nancy BIRD and passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, in Little Rock, Ark., at the age of 59. He is survived by one daughter, Shantelle and her husband, Vince; one son, Brandon and his wife Jamie; three sisters, Eliza, Polly, and Juanita; two brothers, Charlie and John; and one grandson. Mr. BIRD was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert and Bill BIRD. Funeral services are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Donald V. CATO, 87, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Blackgum Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Ritter officiating. Burial was at Box Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. CATO was born on April 25, 1923, in Joplin, Mo., to Riley CATO and Merica S. (STEPHENS) CATO. He died on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, in Vian. Survivors include one sister, Alice; and one brother, John; He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Wynona DUCKWORTH and one brother, James CATO.

Funeral services for Wanda Lea CHEEK, 67, of Roland were held at noon Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow. Burial was at the Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. CHEEK was born on March 27, 1943, in Roland to Henry William Washington WILSON and Ola Mar (OSBORNE) WWILSON. She died on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, in Tulsa. Survivors include three daughters, Kim, Tonya, and Melissa; two sons, Jeffrey and Michael; four sisters, Lucille, Carol, Ruby and Martha; one brother, Joe; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and one sister.

Funeral services for Mickey FAIR, 80, of Sallisaw will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Gans Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Harold McKeehen officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. FAIR was born on Oct. 25, 1929, in Japan to Yoshihoro MINEYAMA and Kinu MINEYAMA. She died on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her husband Earl of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Marion, and Roy and Mary Beth; brother-in-law, Ron and wife, Polly; sisters-in-law, Judy, Opal, Kay, and Gwen, and Pat and husband Jack; two granddaughters; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; special friends, Pat, Sue, Mary Lou, Masako and Judy; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Larry R. FALKNER, 62, of Muldrow are being held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., with Bro. Johnny Roberts officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.  Mr. FALKNER was born on Sept. 29, 1948, in Tahlequah to Irwin FALKNER and Sybil (DANIEL) FALKNER. He died on Sunday, Oct. 10, 1010, in Fort Smith. He married Connie TAYLOR on March 8, 1978, in Poteau. Survivors include his wife,, Connie FALKNER of the home; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Rolanda, Shawn and Kevin, and Stacy and Cody; five grandsons; one sister Betty; two brothers, Bob and Jim; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and other relatives and friends.

On Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, Wanna FISHER went home to the Lord to be with those loved ones that have gone on before her. Wanna was born in Long to Frank and Oma HOWELL in 1924. She married Eual FISHER of Akins in 1942. Wanna had two children, Paulette and Charles Franklin. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son. Wanna is survived by her daughter, Polly, grandson, daughter-in-law, Jeanne and grandson. She also leaves behind many loving relatives and friends. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Sandusky Christian Church in Tulsa. Interment was at 12:30 p.m. at Floral Haven Cemetery. The services were entrusted to Moore’s Eastlawn

Funeral services for Kearnis Raymond “K.R.” HARRIS, 84 of Longtown, formerly of Keota were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Mallory Chapel in Spiro with the Revs. Steve Gray and Charles Smith officiating. Burial was at Dustin Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. HARRIS was born on Oct. 25, 1925, in Dover, Ark., to Omer HARRIS and Lois Pearl (BROWN) HARRIS. He died on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, in Muskogee. He married Margie Rachel WINTON in December of 1948. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Margie Rachel HARRIS, of the home; four daughters, Melva Joy, Mary Ann and husband, Charles, Rachel Elaine and husband, Tim, and Nancy Karen and husband, Bill; three sisters, Audrey and husband, J.B., Marie and husband, Edward, and Pauline CHADWICK and husband, Tracy of Twilight; four brothers, C.W. HARRIS and wife, Marilyn and Glenn and wife, Joyce, Edward and wife, Vera, and James and wife, Glenda; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, baby sister, Joline HARRIS and son-in-law, Omer OSBORNE.

Funeral services for Maxine Treat HOLMES, 86, of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Bro. Charles Ogdon officiating. Burial is in the Muldrow Memory Garden Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. HOLMES was born on June 30, 1924, in Muldrow to Dewey TREAT and Myrtle (McKINNEY) TREAT. She died on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, in Sallisaw. She married Olen Floyd HOLMES on March 3, 1941, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1988. Survivors include one daughter, Doris Jean; one son, Larry Lee; one brother, Jack; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Jean TREAT WILLIAMS.

Graveside services for Barbara Jean LEAF, 39, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian with the Rev. Tommy Shropshire officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. LEAF was born on Feb. 5, 1971, in Lawton to Frank BEAVERS and Glenda Rose (CLIFT) BEAVERS. She died on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Michael Ernest LEAF on March 17, 2000, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Michael of the home; one daughter, Erika; two sons, Dathan and Lance; one sister, Allison; three brothers, Joe Frank, Mitchell and David; and one grandchild.

Funeral services for Sonya Rayne LISTON, 50, of Webbers Falls were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Webbers Falls with the Revs. Tom Shirley and Ron Butler officiating under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. She was born on Aug. 22, 1960, in Muskogee to Charles Ray and Loretta (MENIE) LISTON. She died on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, in Webbers Falls. Survivors include her husband, Larry BECKETT; her daughter, Charlee; mother and stepfather, Loretta and James JOHNSON; stepmother, Alice LISTON; brothers and sisters, Dianna and Ronnie, Rodney and Rhonda, Mickey, Greg and Carma, and Tammy and Bill, and Gail; mother-in-law, Jocyle RIDER; and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her father, a stepson, Shane BECKETT and her grandmother.

Burial was at Seabolt Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. LONDON was born on March 14, 1932, in Nicut to Perry “Ray” WALTERSs and Flossie (SERATT) WALTERS. She died on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, in Roland. She married Wallace LONDON on July 7, 1975, in Vian. Survivors include her husband Wallace of the home; one son, Gary; one sister, Janie; one brother, Johnny; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Buford WALTERS and three sisters, Eura LAWSON, Ruth KIMBLE and JoAnn MOONEY.

Burial was at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. MOSBY was born on Nov. 9, 1948, in Sallisaw to David Jack MATTHEWS and Lois Marie (TOON) MATTHEWS. She died on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two sons, Brad and Doug ; seven sisters, Marie, Mary Lucille, Donna, Betty, Dean, Darlene, and Eyvon; one brother, Otis; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Dorothy MATTHEWS and three brothers, Larry MATTHEWS, David Edward MATTHEWS and Wayne MATTHEWS.

Shawn Money officiating, Burial was at Brent Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. POWELL was born on April 2, 1936, in Brent to Clarence Andrew FARGO and Edna Ellen (HUMBLE) FARGO. She died on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, in Muldrow. She married Richard James POWELL on June 6, 1953, in Gans. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1989. Survivors include one daughter, Susan; three sons, James, Cliff and Bob; two sisters, Rose and Helen; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Buddy Oliver SHIVEL, 56, of Gore were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Gore with the Rev. Floyd Collins officiating under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. SHIVEL was born on Feb. 25, 1954, in Tulsa to William and Evelyn (GRAHAM) SHIVEL. He died on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, in Gore. He married Leslie BRIDGES on Nov. 25, 1974, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Leslie SHIVEL of the home; daughters, Melissa and husband, Stanley,  and Bobbie and husband, Thomas; son, Donnie and wife, Brandy; sister, Linda; brother, Carl; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step-dad, Don WINKLE and his parents.

Funeral services for Freddie Joe TABOR, 70, of Muldrow will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow with the Revs. Anthony Williams and Aaron Tiger officiating, Burial will be at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. TABOR was born on Jan. 8, 1940, in Liberty to Sherd TABOR and Truda Elanor (LONDON) TABOR. He died on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, in Muldrow. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Karen and Johnny, and Lyndsay;  two sons and daughters-in-law, Dion and Linda, and Barry and Kerri; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Bruce and Richard; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. His parents, one sister, Maxine TABOR and one brother, Harold TABOR, preceded him in death.

Mr. ACKER was born on March 27, 1936, in Sequoyah County to Pervin and Myra (DOBBBBS) ACKER. He died on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, in Sapulpa. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Shirley (JOHNSON) ACKER; children, Robert Michael and Janet Diane; half-sisters, Zelma and Velma; and three granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Richard, Bob and Harold ACKER and one sister, Dorothy ACKER LOWERY.

Graveside services for Charles Ray “Chuck” GANN, 77, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Akins Cemetery with the Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. GANN was born on Jan. 24, 1933, in Porter to Charles Henry GANN and Grace Estel (FITZSIMMONS) GANN. He died on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, in Okmulgee. Survivors include four sons, Ricky, Mike, Timothy and Larry; three sisters, Alice, Shirley and Paulette; four brothers, Lawton, Dale, Melvin and Jack; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Louise NOE and Wanda DOLLARD.

Graveside services for Troy Earl PILANT, 89, of Tulsa were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. PILANT was born on Aug. 16, 1921, in Gainesville, Mo., to Radford PILANT and Lona (CRUMMLEY) PILANT. He died on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, in Tulsa. He married Maxine PILANT on Sept. 14, 1984, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Maxine of the home; one son, Steven Wayne; and two stepdaughters, Kathy Ruth and Carolyn Fostine. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Ora WORMACK, Maxine BRILEY and Opal LAWSON and four brothers, Granville, Bernie, Joe Dale and J.B. PILANT

Ruby Elizabeth WILSON KUNTZ, passed from this life in Gilroy, Calif., on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, to dwell with her beloved Savior.  Ruby was born Jan. 10, 1934, to Elmer and Willie WILSON in Wister. Ruby is survived by her loving husband, Bob; her children, Mike and Tammie, Randy and Vicki, Angela and Brad, and Ryan and Karry. Ruby was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren; sisters, Dorene and Phyllis. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Opal, Thelma and Jewell and her brother, Clifton. The funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Friday. Ruby will be laid to rest at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park following the service.

Lois Lou McCAULEY, 79, of Gore went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, Oct. 18, 2010. Lois was born Jan. 26, 1931, in Vian, the daughter of O.L. “dink” HEFTON and Niva Iona (VESSELL) HEFTON. She married Samuel T. McCAULEY on Sept. 17, 1955, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1997.   Survivors are four sons, Ralph and wife, Wanda, Roy George and wife, Linda Sue, Richard Lee and wife, Linda Ann, and Boyd T. and wife, Tammy; two daughters, Sharon Kay and husband, Tom, and Brenda Lou and husband, Aaron; two brothers, Wendall and Vernon Dale; four sisters, Willene, Wanda, Melba and Niva Nell.  Lois was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Her son, Clifford, her granddaughter, Lee Ann, her parents and her brother, Billy, also preceded her in death. Services are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Round Mountain Community Church in Gore with the Rev. Tommy Ballard and Jim Murphy officiating. Burial is at Round Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Viewing is from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Clara Jean STEWART, 84, of Sallisaw passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was born Sept. 8, 1926, in Brushy community, the daughter of Willis Oscar “W.O.” McCLANAHAN and Jesse Lee (SLOAN) McCLANAHAN. She married Noble Ronald STEWART on Aug. 19, 1964, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1974, in Sallisaw. Survivors are, one son and daughter-in-law, John and Martha; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three nieces, Barbara, Charlotte and Charlene; three nephews, Jimmy Carl, Bobby and Ronnie. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Gussie EDWARDS and one brother, Carlisle McClLANAHAN. Services are being held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with Bro. Kurt Henry officiating, Burial is at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Viewing is from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Survivors include one daughter, Shonia Lee; parents, Paul and Margie CHESHER; three sisters, Renda, Grace Ann and Vickie; three brothers, Charley, Woodrow and James; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Martha Jo CLARKE, 82, of Gore will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Millsap Funeral Chapel in Webbers Falls. Burial will be in Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mrs. CLARKE was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Weathers to Chester and Miriem (JAMES) ADAMS. She died on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Harry CLARKE on June 19, 1970, in Las Vegas, Nev. Survivors include her husband, Harry CLARKE of the home; and brother, Alfred James and wife, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brothers, Arly and Harly ADAMS and two sisters, Eva HOPKINS and Mildred BERTRAND.

Mrs. OSBURN was born on Nov. 11, 1932, in Gans to Elvis Raymond and Ima (SMITH) HENRY. She died on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010. Survivors include one daughter, Sandi; one son, Doyle; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lloyd, Bob and Linville; and one sister, Carolyn.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Henry OSBURN and her parents.

Ethel Patricia QUINTON ASHMORE of Warner passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, in Sallisaw at the age of 88. She was born April 6, 1922, in Quinton to James and Ellen (FLOYD) QUINTON. Ethel is survived by one daughter, Patricia and husband, Martin; three sons, Phillip and wife, Kathy, Stephen and wife, Vickie, and Jonathan and wife, Connie; three sisters, Lovica, Hazel and Myrtle; one brother, Willis; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Truman ASHMORE, one grandson, Phillip Bryan ASHMORE, one great-grandson, one brother, James QUINTON, three sisters, Lillie HENSON, Alice SHEPLEY and Mary PALMER and three infant brothers.  

Funeral services for Ruby Lee CHRISCO McLAUGHLIN BURGESS were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Brookside Baptist Church with Dr. John Wheeler officiating. Committal prayers and burial were at 2 p.m. in the Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Ninde Funeral Directors of Tulsa. Mrs. BURGESS was born on Aug. 5, 1916, in Luling, Texas to Oda Benjamin and Roxie Ann (FINLEY) CHRISCO. She died on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, in Tulsa. She married James M. McLAUGHLIN who preceded her in death on March 23, 1963. She later married Albert Lee BURGESS who preceded her in death on July 29, 1992. Survivors include her daughters, Linda and her husband, Howard, and Pam and her husband, Mike; son, Jimmy Lee and his wife, Susan; sister, Virble; brother, Noble; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Patricia Sue PARRET and brother, Eldon CHRISCO.

Funeral services for Barbara Sue JONES DYER, 70, of Muldrow will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Victory Temple Pentecostal Church in Roland with the Rev. Charles Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. DYER was born on Feb. 1, 1940, in Bloomer, Ark., to Floyd Marshall JONES and Ila Murel (ODOM) JONES. She died on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Van, and Sandy and Rodney; two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Shirley, and Kendall and Joann; 16 grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jacquelyn, and Charolette; and two brothers, Johnny, and Gary. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dale DYER, one son, Gary Dale DYER, her parents, one sister, Carolyn GEHEB and two brothers, Bill JONES and Terry JONES.

Funeral services for Ray Edmond HOUSE Sr., 76, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Tommy Treat and Ed Reese officiating. Burial was at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. HOUSE was born on Aug. 12, 1934, in Vian to Joe HOUSE and Velma Lee (RHODES) HOUSE. He died on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, in Fort Smith. He married Jewell UNDERWOOD on April 8, 2004, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Jewell HOUSE of the home; two daughters, Vickie and Nannette; two sons, Steve and Ray Jr.; two sisters, Virginia and Wanda; three brothers, Prentice, James and Danny; 12 grandchildren; and eightgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Lou HOUSE, his parents, and two sisters, Oleta SAUL and Freda THOMAS.

Funeral services for Christopher Stanley WATTS, 33, of Gore were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Notchietown Baptist Church in Gore with Tim Beam officiating. Burial was at Greenleaf Cemetery in Tahlequah under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. WATTS was born on Oct. 2, 1977, in Tahlequah to Ralph Jones WATTS and Rebecca Raeanne (DuUGGAR) HAYES. He died on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, in Gore. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Ann and Steve HAYES; father and stepmother, Ralph and Rose WATTS; one sister, Karen; three brothers, Robert, Dennis and Ralph; and one stepsister, Monya.

Funeral services for Douglas “Boots” YOUNG, 81, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Vian Baptist Church with Jim Murphy, Bro. Doug Bane and Charles Sloan officiating.  Burial was at Box Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. YOUNG was born on Sept. 8, 1929, in Gore to James “Yona” YOUNG and Iva (PHILLIPS) YOUNG. He died on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, in Tahlequah. He married Rena WILLIAMS on Jan. 19, 1983, in Miami, Okla. Survivors include his wife, Rena YOUNG of the home; one daughter, Joan; two sons, David and Joe; two sisters, Maxine and Gracie; two brothers, Nick and Charles; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Jerry Harper COLE, 79, of Sallisaw will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church in Pine Bluff, Ark., with the Rev. Lance Clemmons officiating. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery near Prattsville, Ark., under the direction of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Mr. COLE was born on July 22, 1931, in Sheridan to Charles W. and Kate (HARPER) COLE. He died on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Jayne COLE on June 27, 1954, in Malvern. Survivors include his wife, Jayne COLE; daughter, Kim; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Donnie Joe FRYE, 52, of Sallisaw will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Garden of Memories Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Connely officiating under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. FRYE was born on Sept. 6, 1958, in Tahlequah to Dennis Joe and Betty (GORDON) FRYE. He died on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, in Tahlequah. Survivors include one daughter, Amber; one son, Danny Joe; his mother; two sisters, Deborah and Elaine; and two brothers, Kenneth and wife, Virginia, and Jerry. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Paul FOX.

Funeral services for Myrtle M. MARVIN, 85, of Sallisaw will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Sallisaw with the Rev. Brian Zinck officiating. Burial will be at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. MARVIN was born on April 25, 1925, in Sullivan, Mo., to Jesse James HARMON and Minnie (TICE) HARMON. She died on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married James Leo “Jim” MARVIN Sr. on May 12, 1643, in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1990, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim Jr. and Pam ,and Wayne and Karen, and Dr. Michael and Linda; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Dora, Belle and Ellen and two brothers, Ferd and John.

Funeral services for Brenda J. WISDOM are being held Saturday in Baton Rouge, La., under the direction of Greenoaks Memorial Park and Funeral Home of Baton Rouge. Mrs. WISDOM was born on June 15, 1952, in Van Buren, Ark. She died on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, in Peoria, Ill. She was raised in Muldrow. Survivors include two daughters, Samantha and Marie; one son, Thomas; one sister, Judy; and one brother, Jerry.
