Graveside services for Lillie Mae BAMBURG, 60, of Muldrow were held at 3 p m Tuesday, Sept 4, 2012, at Long Cemetery in Muldrow with Bro John  Tautfest officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral home of Muldrow. Mrs BAMBURG was born on Sept 24, 1951, in Waldron, Ark., to James Henry THOMAS and Madine Rose (DUNCAN) THOMAS. She died on Thursday, Aug 30, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark.  She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte HAMMER of the home and Annette SEXTON of Muldrow; one son, Bryant WILLETT of Sallisaw; two sisters, Pat DIESEL of Blythe, Ark., and Linda CUTLIP of Kentucky; four brothers, James THOMAS of Monroe, Lloyd THOMAS of Alaska, Albert THOMAS of Hackett, Ark., and Bruce THOMAS of Fort Smith; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Darryl Hammer, Jessie Sexton, Brian Baker, Ricky Sexton, Billie Curtis and Kenneth Griffin.

Memorial services for Carleta "Lynn" BOATWRIGHT, 50, of Sallisaw, will be held at 10 a m Saturday, Sept 8, 2012, at Oakridge Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw. Arrangements were under the direction of Cremation Society of Tulsa. She was born on July 26, 1962, in Tacoma, Wash, to Ivan and Wilma BOATWRIGHT. She died on Sunday, Sept  2, 2012, in Tulsa. She was a MAT/CNA at Sequoyah Residential Facility and Home Health Professional at Peters Agency at the time. She lived in Sallisaw most of her life and attended Oakridge Assembly of God most recently. She enjoyed cooking and sewing for her friends and family. Survivors include her father of Sallisaw; sisters, Juanita BOLEN of Van Buren, Ark., and Lawatha LANGFORD of Arkoma; three children, Tabatha MORROW, Patrick CAHILL and Christina HIXSON, all of Sallisaw; son-in-law, Shane MORROW of Sallisaw; two grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services for L V BRIGGS, 87, of Vian will be held at 11 a m Saturday, Sept 8, 2012, at Vian Baptist Church with Pastor Mac Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr BRIGGS was born on July 24, 1925, in Vian to Willie BRIGGS and Benetta (ROYAL) BRIGGS. He died on Wednesday, Aug 29, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. He worked in the pattern shop at Oklahoma Steel and was a carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Mary Anna BRIGGS of the home; one daughter, Johnnie TAYLOR of Missouri; one son, Larry BRIGGS of Vian; one sister, Bernice BRIGGS of Tulsa; one brother, Rip BRIGGS of Tulsa; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Amy Lee ELLIS, Martha BRIGGS, Ollie Mae FINNEY and Geraldine HYLAND; and two brothers, Willie BRIGGS Jr., and Nathaniel BRIGGS. Pallbearers will be Louis Bland, Bryon Briggs, George Burgess, Jerome Taylor, John Sanders and James E Taylor.

Funeral services for Troy Tilton CRAIGHEAD, 49, of Vian are being held at 10 a m Wednesday, Sept 5, 2012, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw with Elder Bruce Terry, Apostle Donnie Carter and Elder Roger Tracy officiating. Burial is at Box Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr CRAIGHEAD was born on Jan 13, 1963, in Sallisaw to Donald Lee CRAIGHEAD and Anna Bernice DAVIS SPENCER. He died on Thursday, Aug 30, 2012, in Vian. He was a self-employed mason. Survivors include one daughter, Bethany CRAIGHEAD of the home; two sons, Jessie DOBSON of Muskogee and Josh CRAIGHEAD-COLLIS of Little Kansas; his mother, Bernice SPENCER of Blackgum; his father, Donald CRAIGHEAD and Margaret Reese of Sallisaw; four brothers, Clayton CRAIGHEAD, Stacy CRAIGHEAD, Daniel CRAIGHEAD and Trey CRAIGHEAD, all of Blackgum. Funeral services for Danny Ray McGUIRE, 62, of Roland are being held at 10 a m Wednesday, Sept 5, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial with military honors is at Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr. McGUIRE  was born on Oct 26, 1949, in Fort Smith. He died on Saturday, Sept 1, 2012, in Fort Smith. He was a maintenance man for Clayton Welding\, an Army veteran of Vietnam  and a member of VFW post 8384 in Muldrow. Survivors include his wife, Clara Ann McGUIRE; one son, Scott McGUIRE of Roland; one daughter, Maria MERSBERGER of Fort Smith; three sisters, Susie McGUIRE and Tiny McGUIRE, both of Roland and Brenda GREGORY of Fort
Smith; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers are Matt Mersberger, Phillip Knight, Johnny Clayton Jr., Randy Irvin, Billy Haga and Joe Day.

Graveside services for Richard Dale MORRIS, 68, of Marble City will be held at 2 p m Thursday at Maple Cemetery in Muldrow with Ted Eppler officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr MORRIS was born on June 5, 1944, in Carlsbad, N M, to Richard MORRIS or Dorothy (MARTINDALE) MORRIS. He died on Monday, Sept 3,2 012, in Roland. He worked in maintenance at the Lime Plant. He married Doris Harriet HONEYCUTT in 1966 in Corn. Survivors include his wife, Doris MORRIS of Marble City; one daughter, Tammy EVANS of Short; two sons, Ricky MORRIS of Muldrow and Larry MORRIS of Sallisaw; one sister, Opal MORRIS of Muskogee; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John MORRIS and one sister, Wanda SHELTON. Pallbearers will be Herman Rolston, Pete Looper, Franklin Taylor, Mark Duty, Dwayne Metcalf and Gary Real.

Funeral services for Ben TIGER, Jr., 69, of Holdenville, will be held at 11 a m at Redbird Smith Ceremonial Grounds in Vian with Chief David Teehee officiating. Burial will be in Redbird Smith Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr TIGER was born on Aug 25, 1943, in Seminole County to Ben TIGER Sr. and Martha Jane TIGER. He died on Monday, Sept 3, 2012, in Ada. He was a welder. He married Hopeful Mae LOCUST on Nov 14, 1964, in Stilwell. Survivors include his wife, Hopeful TIGER of the home; one son, Jeff TIGER of Seminole; one sister, Patricia HOOKS of Holdenville; nine grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Anthony "Ripper: TIGER; three grandchildren; and one sister, Neomi FOOTRACER. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Burial was at Alma City Cemetery in Alma, Ark., all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. EPPLE was born on Jan 29, 1912, in Alma to Walter B and Beatrice (JOHNSON) POWELL. She died on Sunday, Sept 2, 2012, in Roland. She was a seamstress for several dress shops over her lifetime and was a member of First Baptist Church of Muldrow. Survivors include one daughter, Melva WIMPLE of Little Rock, Ark.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William EPPLE; one sister; four brothers; and one grandchild. Pallbearers were John James, Pat O'Brien, Jim Powell and Gary Condren.

Memorial services for Vivian Irene McCORMICK BAXTER, 95, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p m Monday, Sept 10, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel  in Fort Smith. Mrs. BAXTER was born on Nov 3, 1916, in Xenia, Ill, to Ernest and Grace (HODGE) McCORMICK. She died on Wednesday, Sept 5, 2012, in Sallisaw. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ. She was a seamstress and raised Shetland Sheepdogs. Survivors include her brother, Bill McCormick of Hot Springs, Ark; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard BAXTER; and a son Jimmie BAXTER.

Funeral services for Loretta HESTER CROSLN, were held at 2 p m Saturday, Aug 11, 2012, at Hamilton O'Dell Funeral Chapel with Pastor Stan Yocum officiating. Burial was at Monte Vista Cemetery under the direction of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home of Alamogordo, N M., Mrs CROSLN was born on Feb 11, 1927, in Redland to  Charles WILLIAMS and Verna (SHOFNER) ANDERSON. She died on Thursday, Aug 9, 2012. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Squirrel CROSLN Jr.; sons, Charles Denver HESTER and wife, Mary of Alamogordo, Robert Eugene HESTER of Sherman Oaks, Calif., Larry Allan CROSLN and wife, Paulette of Muskogee and Michael Lee CROSLN and wife, Marcella of Van Buren, Ark.; daughter, Retta Sue REED and husband, William of Alamogordo; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Noah Denver HESTER; a granddaughter; and a great-great-granddaughter.

A memorial service for Zachary Andrew CUMMINGS, 19, of Roland will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of La Paloma Cremation and Funeral Services of Las Vegas, Nev. Mr CUMMINGS enjoyed playing the drums and keyboards, writing music and riding skateboards. He was training to be a manager at Pizza Hut. Survivors include his mother, Monica CUMMINGS of Roland; two brothers, Timothy PHELPS and Jonathan CUMMINGS, both of Nashville, Tenn; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather.

Funeral services for Fred D GOSSETT, 98, of Vian were held at 2 p m Saturday, Sept 8, 2012, at Vian Baptist Church with Jim Murphy officiating. Burial was at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. GOSSETT was born on May 16, 1914, to George Zachriah "Zack" GOSSETT and Aggie Gertrude (BRYANT) GOSSETT. He died on Wednesday, Sept 5, 2012, in Vian. He was a rancher, a member of Vian Baptist Church here he served as a Deacon and a former Sequoyah County Commissioner from 1972-1982. He was also a foreman at Tenkiller State Park and worked for the Civil Conservation Corp. He married Ethel R EDWARDS on March 2, 1939, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Ethel GOSSETT of the home; three daughters, Sharon Kay MURPHY, Freda Jane STITES and Linda FORD all of Vian; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Survivors include one daughter, Ann GOSSETT of Fort Smith, Ark; three sisters, Louella ALLEN of Park Hill, Mary SMITH of Vinita and Sue BREEDLING of Trussville, Ala; and four brothers, Jerry CREEKKILLER of Roland, Willie CREEKKILLER of Eucha, Tommy CREEKKILLER of Langley and Jeff CREEKKILLER of Ball, La.

Arnold Clyde ROGERS, 97, passed away on Wednesday, Sept 12, 2012. Visitation will be held at 10 a m on Monday, Sept 17, 2012, with the funeral service at 11 a m both at Graceway Community Church, 200 S St Clair, Kan. Arnold served in the U S Army during World War II. Arnold was born on May 19, 1915, in Japton, Ark., to Commodore and Laura (MASTERSON) ROGERS. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Laura Kay , Ola ROGERS, Juel GIBSON, Earl ROGERS, Bertha BABB, Claude ROGERS, Vernon "Pete:" ROGERS, Will ROGERS, Macie Lavern DICKSON and Blanche ROGERS. Arnold is survived by his wife of 69 years, Nelese (PALMER) ROGERS; daughter, Judy and David CANSLER; son Jerry and Judy ROGERS, all of Wichita; sisters, Clara HALL of Sallisaw and Nettie WRIGHT of Murphy, N C; grandchildren, Lynn and Randy STOWE, Jerissa and Todd KELLEY and Jerrod and Kristeena ROGERS; great-grandchildren, Derrick STOWE, Houston STOWE, Allyson STOWE, Abbey KELLEY, Anna ROGERS, Gracie ROGERS and Georgia ROGERS, all of Wichita. Graveside services with military honors, for Lloyd Lorenzo SIMS Sr., of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 2 p m Monday, Sept 10, 2012, at the U S National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Mr SIMS was born on Aug 3, 1933, in Detroit, Mich., to Thomas and Abbie SIMS. He died on Friday, Sept 7, 2012, in Fort Smith. He was retired from the U S Air force and worked as a chef at Mercy Hospital and a mechanic at St Scholastica Monastery for 21 years. For 35 years he entertained residents at nursing home in Arkansas and Oklahoma, including Sequoyah Manor in Sallisaw, with his singing. He was known as the "Candy Man." He was of the Christian faith. Survivors include his wife, Judy; five children, Turrell, Lloyd Jr., David and Katrina, all of Fort Smith and Jenny Maye of Georgia; seven grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. Pallbearers were David McCain, Turrell Sims, Lloyd Sims Jr., Che' Kinnard, Ray Jones and Gary Parsons.

Mrs. SIXKILLER was born on June 12, 1925, in Vian to James Cleo JACKSON and Dove Imaline (COTNER) JACKSON. She died on Thursday, Sept 13, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a cook for Vian Nursing Home. Survivors include three daughters, Paula COLEMAN of Tulsa, Cindy FLETCHER of Greenwood, Ark., and Daphne BOWDEN of Muldrow; one son, John SIXKILLER of Katy, Texas; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul SIXKILLER; her parents; and one brother, Lockhart JACKSON.

Funeral services for Eunice FARRELL UNDERWOOD, 85, of Spiro are being held at 2 p m Friday, Sept 14, 2012, at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro. Mr. UNDERWOOD was born on Sept 16, 1926, in Williams to Reece and Cecil (BYRD) UNDERWOOD.  He died on Wednesday, Sept 12, 2012, in Pocola. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and music. He was also a charter member of Bible Missionary Church. Survivors include one son, Glynn UNDERWOOD and Companion, Kitty of Pocola; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patsy; one daughter, Gail WHITFIELD; and a grandson. Mr  BOSHEY was born on Oct 4, 1954, in Tower, Minn to Laverne BOSHEY CAMERON. He died on Sunday, Sept 16, 2012, in Sallisaw. He was a general laborer. He married Mona Lee WILSON  in 1988, in Duluth, Minn. Survivors include his wife, Mona BOSHEY of the home; three daughters, Lorraine JAMES,  Carla USELTON and Lisa HUBBARD, all of Vian; one son, Daniel HUBBARD of Vian; four sisters, Patty CAMERON, Susan CAMERON, Carol CAMERON and Sheila CAMERON, all of Virginia, Minn; three brothers, Rodney RANUM and Warren CAMERON, both of Virginia  and Eddie CAMERON of San Diego, Calif; 19 grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Burial was at 1 p m Tuesday, Sept 18, 2012, at Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mrs COOPER was born on June 11, 1912, in Mississippi to Henry and Phyllis (HARRISON) JEFFERY. She died on Tuesday, Sept 11, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a homemaker. Survivors include on daughter, Daisy Bell WORTON and husband, Alfred of Spiro; one son, Meshick COOPER of Spiro; 20 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter COOPER; one daughter, Millie JEFFERY; two sons, Levi and Jack COOPER; two sisters, and four brothers.

Private services for Charles Aaron FIELDS, 65, were held Sept 6, 2012, in Vallejo, Calif. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Skyview Memorial Lawn in Vallejo. Mr FIELDS was born on Oct 27, 1946, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Aaron Virgil FIELDS and Tenney (BARNES) FIELDS. he died on Wednesday, Sept 5, 2012, in Vallejo. He worked as a trained Honda mechanic and enjoyed traveling on his motorcycles. Survivors in his mother of the home; two sons, Dennis and Michelle  FIELDS of  Adel, Ga. , and Joseph and fiance, Randi of Springboro, Pa; and several grandchildren. Funeral services for Mildred DAVIS KNAPP, 91, of Muldrow were held at 2 p m Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev Tommy Treat officiating. Burial was at Seabolt Cemetery, north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs KNAPP was born on Feb 26, 1921, in Sallisaw to William Stanford DAVIS and Mary Ellen TURNER. She died on Friday, Sept 14, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a homemaker. She married Charley Lee KNAPP in 1947, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2002. Survivors include one daughter, Sue Ellen KNAPP of Muldrow; one sister, Erma MORRISON of Joplin, Mo; one brother, Glen DAVIS of Sherman, Texas; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; and one daughter, Loetta MORTON. Pallbearers were Marty Fugett, Kyle Fugett, Daniel Morton, Chris Davis, Evan Davis and Robert Vinson.  

Funeral services for Floyd Gene LEDFORD, 27, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p m Wednesday, Sept 19, 2012, at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener. Mr LEDFORD was born on Feb 6, 1935, in Sasakwa. He died on Sunday, Sept 16, 2012, in Sallisaw. He was a Korean War Veteran, worked in the oilfields, and joined the rodeo for a few years. He also worked at the Nevada Test Site drilling holes underground to detonate nuclear bombs, was a mailman and worked as a warehouse manager. He was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his wife, Estella; four sons, Leonard LEDFORD of Dallas, Texas, James LEDFORD of Kerrville, Texas, Joe LEDFORD of San Angelo, Texas and Burt LEDFORD of Las Vegas, Nev.; a stepdaughter, Donna KRAUS of Rosarito, N M; three stepsons, Cecil BUNN Jr., Raymond and Claudie BUNN, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Delma HARRIS of Wilson and Glenda CRAIG of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; and seven step great-grandchildren.

Kathleen "Kay" LOUCKS, 83, passed away on Thursday, Sept 13, 2012, at the Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon. Kay was born in Enid to Bill and Blanche LeGRAND. Kay graduated from nursing school and was an LPN for many years before retiring to Lake Tenkiller, where she loved fishing and watching the wildlife. She had many interest including archaeology; China and oil painting. Kay was a very compassionate person. She was also a volunteer with the American Red Cross and traveled to disasters in Hawaii and Puerto Rico, as well as many states in the Continental U S. She always had her bags packed and ready to go whenever needed. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph of 53 years.\; son, Albert Mondoux; and daughter, Diane MUELLER. She is survived by son Stephen MONDOUX and wife, Helen of Enid; daughter, Patricia McDONALD of Ecuador; sister, Joan MASCHINO and husband Pete of Yukon; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Ranchwood Nursing Center staff including Dr Drew Cooper and Crossroads Hospice for the excellent care given to Kathleen. Arthur Harvey ROSS, 65, of Vian died on Monday, Sept 17, 2012, in Tahlequah. He was born on Nov 13, 1946, in Tahlequah, to son of Lucinda HENSLEY ROSS. Mr ROSS was a Vietnam veteran., a carpenter and of the Baptist faith. Graveside services for Alvin ROTHSCHILLER, 84, of Roland were held at 10 a m at the U S National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mr ROTHSCHILLER was born on Dec 23, 1927, in Billings, Mont., to Nicholas and Katherine ROTHSCHILLER. He died on Friday, Sept 14, 2012, in Roland. He retired from Fairbanks-Morse Pump Company, Inc., in Kansas City, Kan., and served in the U S Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Francis ROTHSCHILLER of the home; one son, Craig ROTHSCHILLER of Mission, Kan.; one sister, Vera MONROE of Benson, Ariz; and one grandchild. Funeral services for Dolores Christine BOYD, 83, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 10 a m Friday, Sept 21, 2012, at Ocker-Putman Funeral home Chapel with the Revs Dale Thompson and George Barnham officiating. Burial is at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark. Mrs BOYD was born on Dec 19, 1927, in Roland to Willie and Etta (BRYAN) HORNER. She died on Sunday, Sept 16, 2012, in Fort Smith. She was the bookkeeper at Potts Livestock Commission Company and a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Smith. She was part of the Rose Marie Murphey's Sunday School Class. Survivors include a daughter, Donna BRUMLEY of Minneapolis, Minn; one sister, Wilma POTTS of Fort Smith; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev Harold BOYD.

Curtis Ray DODGIN, 44, of Roland died on Tuesday, Sept 18, 2012, in Roland. He was born on April 15, 1968, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Dennis Ray DODGIN and Veronica Rose PRESLEY MIESSNER. No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was a truck driver. He married Amailia DODGIN of the home; one daughter, Ashley DODGIN of For Smith, Ark.; two sons, Dennis DODGIN and Matthew DODGIN, both of Roland; his mother, of Roland; two sisters, Sonya FALCO of Port Richie, Fla, and Krista NODINE of Richland, Wash; one brother, Darrell DODGIN of McMinnville, Ore; six grandchildren; and several other family members and friends. Sheila Fay EASLEY, born to Albert Houston and Alpha Mable BUCHANAN, on April 4, 1945, passed away on Monday morning, Sept 17, 2012. Shiela is sister to Bobby, Gale, Billy, Gary, Ricky, Albert, Joyce and Shirley. Mother to Tony CARR, Shane CARR, Ollie EASLEY, and grandma to Felicia OSWALD, Christine CARR, Delaney CARR, "Tanyon" CARR and "Lidy" FISHER. Great grandma to Alyssa and Max OSWALD. Sheila was a mother and grandmother to the whole "BUCHANAN Clan" and all that came to know her. Sheila was wonderful and always full of life and smiles. She took utmost care of all and hands down the best mother ever! I can't think of anyone who disliked her or didn't fall in love with her. Her heart was golden and her intentions were pure. She had a remarkable ability to hide her pain and with a smile and a positive attitude. You can ask anyone who had her cooking, they would say she was the BEST!  She loved to garden, always something growing! a "yard sale junkie" with many memories of getting up at the crack of dawn! He attended school in Webbers Falls, served in the U S Army during the World War II, was a farmer, crop duster and enjoyed collecting and restoring old cars. He married Iris COFFEY on April 16, 1975, in Warner. Survivors include his wife, Iris PARKER of the home; sons, Duane PARKER and wife, Paula of Webbers Falls and Mike COURTNEY of Mississippi; daughters, April PARKER and Mind HENDRIX and husband, Larry, all of Warner and Michelle CHAMBERS of Muskogee; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends. Survivors include her twin sister, Bessie of Texas; and several other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edman SULLIVAN. Kirby Cornelius WILLIAMS III, 60, of Van Buren, Ark., died on Sunday, Sept 16, 2012, in Houston, Texas. He was born on May 11, 1952, in Bakersfield, Calif. He was a retired schoolteacher, and was preceded in death by his brother, Wayland PEAKER. He is survived by his wife, Debbie WILLIAMS of the home; two sons, Kirby WILLIAMS IV and his wife, Jessica of Alma, Ark., and Andy WILLIAMS and his wife, Michelle of Fort Smith, Ark.; a brother, Charles HARRIS  of Ventura, Calif; six grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan, Bailey, Kerrsia, Logan and Jacob; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p m Saturday, Sept 22, 2012, at Central Christian Church in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van buren, ark. Mr. AUGUSTINE was born on May 13, 1929, in Hazelton Township, Mich., to Henry L. AUGUSTINE and Vivian Lola (KELLOGG) AUGUSTINE. He died on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. He worked in the chief photo lab for General Motors. He married Thelma Jean MATHEWS on Sept. 13, 1952, in Roswell, N.M. Eva Marie BROTHERS was born on Dec. 23, 1932, in Wadena, Minn., the daughter of Annie Frank and Leslie L. SUTTON. She was a waitress and a homemaker. She married Buddie BROTHERS on Oct. 24, 1989. She passed from this earth at her home on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. Mrs. HOWARD was born April 15, 1929, in Sherman, Texas, the daughter of Francis Marion PATRICK and Estie (NEAL) PATRICK. She married Freddie Lee HOWARD on Dec. 22, 1942, in Bonham, Texas. Funeral services for Carl “Doc” EDWARDS, 83, of Webbers Falls were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the First Baptist Church with the Revs. Wendell Cox and Jason Ravan officiating. Burial was at Gore City Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. EDWARDS was born on April 22, 1929, in Webbers Falls to John and Rosie (SKIPPER) EDWARDS. He died on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, in Gore. He graduated from Webbers Falls School and later served in the U.S. Navy. He served the town for 46 years at Edwards DX, and was a member of First Baptist Church. He married Billie Jo WARD on Oct. 6, 1950, in Little Rock, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Billie Jo EDWARDS of the home; sons, Steven EDWARDS and LaDonna and Gary EDWARDS and Bonnie of Matthews, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Sweet Madeleine is now a member of the Lord’s heavenly choir. Madeleine Sophie KOSTKA FINE was born on Jan. 3, 1930, in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of Veronica (ORLOWSKI) KOSTKA and Thomas KOSTKA. She was married to Harold Dale FINE. Mrs. FINE was a long-time member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, a resident of Sallisaw and a graduate of Sallisaw High School. Mother was the epitome of mother earth and lived and breathed in her gardens, a consummate cook, sang soprano in the choir, taught religious classes, worked as a caregiver and later, volunteered with Catholic Charities. Her proudest accomplishment was her children, whom all made her proud of their educational pursuits, families and career successes, which have been passed on to her grandchildren. We grieve upon her passing, but embrace all of our fond memories of her beautiful smile, sense of humor, love of music and belief in God. Mrs. FINE passed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, in Muskogee at the age of 82. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Elizabeth FINE and Michael MAPPES of Midwest City, Julie and Glenn KELLEY of Muskogee and Jean CALHOUN of Wasilla, Alaska; four sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Anne FINE of Ada, John and Angie FINE of Birmingham, Ala., David and Angela FINE of Muskogee and Daniel and Lisa FINE of Reno, Nev.; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Barbara KOSTKA of Sallisaw; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dale FINE; and her parents, Thomas and Veronica KOSTKA. Mrs. FULLER was born on March 2, 1943, in Tulsa to Paul and Anna Leota McCARVER. She died on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a special education teacher and a member of the Church of God in Van Buren, Ark. She enjoyed arts and crafts, making jewelry, crocheting, gardening and making homemade bread. She married Larry FULLER on Aug. 10, 1979, in Owasso. Survivors include her husband, Larry of the home; one daughter, Tammy LEWIS and husband, Howard of Tulsa; one brother, Norman McCARVER of Tulsa; one sister Mary PHILLIPS of Tooele, Utah; one grandson; and several other family members and friends. Dana Paul WILLIAMS, 57, of Midland, Ark., was born on Aug. 10, 1955, in Long Beach, Calif., to William and Dorris (GORRELL) WILLIAMS. He died on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, in Arkoma. Formal services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. He worked in construction.
