Funeral services for Priscilla Fern HAMILTON, 74, of Vian will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Vian Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tommy Clark officiating. Burial will be in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HAMILTON was born Feb. 17, 1924, in Akins, to Silas McClure SPEAR and Ruby FLOYD SPEAR. She died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998, in Tahlequah. She married Paul Eugene HAMILTON April 8, 1944, in Roswell, N. M. He preceded her in death Feb. 8, 1991. Survivors include her mother, Ruby SPEAR; two sons, Larry and Barry; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Nate, Bob, Jack and Dwight;
Funeral services for Clyde "Mutt" HARVELL, 81, of Spiro were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, with the Rev. Dale Phelps officiating. Burial was in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, northeast of Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Mr. HARVELL was born Jan. 30, 1917, in Roland, to Ewing Wesley HARVELL and Pearl Maud (ROSE) HARVELL. He died Friday, Aug. 28, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Rubye Elizabeth JACKSON May 7, 1935, in Muldrow. She preceded him in death April 30, 1987. Survivors include one daughter, Linda; five sons, Everett, Ewing, Jim, Ray and Carlos; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys and Lucille; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mr. HARVELL was also preceded in death by one brother, Claudie, one grandson, Tony HARVELL, and two great-granddaughters, Shawntae MCVAY and Heather CRAWFORD.
Funeral services for Earlean MAXWELL, 75, of Pocola are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Putman Funeral Home. Mrs. MAXWELL died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, in a local hospital. Survivors include five daughters, Carolan, Barbara, Priscillia, Nancy and Janet; Five sons, James, Robert, Billie, Richard and Edward; one sister, Faye; two brothers, Troy and L. B.; 27 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Mrs. MAXWELL was preceded in death by her husband, Lester MAXWELL and one son, Tommie.
Funeral services for Violet PEVEHOUSE PRESSON, 91, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial was in Coop Prairie Cemetery in Mansfield, Ark., under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel. Mrs. PRESSON died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, in a local hospital. Survivors include one daughter, Patsy; two sons, Tommie and Jerry; two sisters, Dortha and Margaret; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. PRESSON was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie PRESSON.
Private family memorial services for Troy Dwayne SAVAGE, 59, of Roland will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. The body was cremated. Mr. SAVAGE died Monday, Aug. 31, 1998, in a Fort Smith hospital. Survivors include his wife, Edna; six daughters, Sharon, Karen, Penny, Karen, Joyce and Judy; four sons, Mark, Steven, Roy and Mike; his mother, Beatrice; three sisters, Carol , Salada and Teresea; three brothers, Owen , Ricky and Pi; 22 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He married Connie Myra DYE Aug. 23, 1963, in Poteau. Survivors include his wife, Connie Myra GOFF of the home; one daughter Myra Gean; one son, Austin Eugene Jr.; eight grandchildren; his mother, Oleta; six sisters, Dorothy, Barbara, Sherri, Doris, June, Lavada; and two brothers, Johnny and Delbert. Mr. HILL was born Oct. 20, 1902, in McIntosh District, Oklahoma Indian Territory, to Charlie and Viteria (COPELAND) HILL. He died Friday, Sept. 4, 1998, in Tahlequah. Survivors include four nieces, Willie, Doris, Inez and Kathryn; four nephews, Jack, Bud, Gene and Jimmy; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends, Lloyd and Mary Frances JACKSON. and Princess (ALES) KYLE. He died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998, in a Wichita,
Kan. hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Kristi and Karen; one sister Jeanne; one
brother Jerry; two grandchildren, Hannah and Tucker; two nieces and two nephews.

He died Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Willa Ray SKAGGS Nov. 1, 1957, in Vian. She preceded him in death Nov. 27, 1981. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Tambra and Bruce, Rhonda and Kim, Kathleen and Bob, and Cindi and Michael; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Shanna, William, Brittany, Clint, Bob and David; two sisters, Doris and Ruth; five brothers, Howard, Arvil, Harold, Jim and Calvin.

Burial was in Brushy Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. WRIGHT was born Feb. 23, 1921, in the Brushy community, to Robert Richard BALL and Effie Lee (GRIFFIN) BALL. She died Friday, Sept. 4, 1998, in Sallisaw. Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy, Laveta and Omega; one brother Junior; 23 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Mrs. WRIGHT was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Conway WRIGHT.
Mary Frances (SIMPSON) CARGILL, 66, went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, Sept. 11, after a courageous 21-year battle with cancer and complications. Mary died peacefully at her beloved rural home on the historic Simpson family farm near Simpson Road in Logan Co. Services will be Sept. 15 at Seward Road Baptist Church, in Guthrie under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mary was born Jan. 21, 1932, at Seward the seventh of nine children born to John B. and Selma SIMPSON, now deceased. Mary is survived by two daughters, Ramona and Pattsi; two stepsons, Tommy and Larry CARGILL; 16 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and more than 70 foster grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her sister, Ferne MILLER; brothers, Ben SIMPSON, Jerome SIMPSON, John B. SIMPSON, Jr. and Leonard SIMPSON. Mary is also survived by many nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, and many first and second cousins in the SIMPSON, BOHLKEN, MAKER and GLENN families.; Aunts Gent MATTHEWS and Nadine BOHLKEN. Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Odis CARGILL; brothers, Eugene, Dale and Doug, and two great grandchildren.

Mr. FIELDS was born Feb. 22, 1936, in Chandler, Ariz., to John Henry FIELDS and Willie Mae (SHROPSHIRE) FIELDS. He died Monday, Sept. 7, 1998, in Oklahoma City. He married Nadia Effie BOLING July 3, 1959, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Nadia FIELDS of the home; three daughters, Carolyn Ann, Brenda Sue and Ginger Louise; one son, Johnny Lee; two grandchildren, Eric Van and April Jean; three step-grandchildren, Amber Nicole, Tamara Lynn and David Carroll; six sisters, Retha Mae, Dorothy Louise, Helen, Georgia, Betty Arlen and Bobbie; two brothers, J. C. and Edward Leon; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mr. FIELDS was preceded in death by twin grandsons, Justin Gene and Dustin Wayne.

Mrs. MUGLESTON was born Sept. 25, 1919, in Keota, to William Issac WYRICK and Mary Edna (SMITHSON) WYRICK. She died Monday, Sept. 7, 1998, at Intensiva Hospital of Eastern Oklahoma in Muskogee. She married Alvin M. MUGLESTON Feb. 29, 1948. Survivors include two sons, Ronald Milton and F. L. "Sonny"; two sisters, Ann Laura and Carol Jacqueline; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. MUGLESTON was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvin on Nov. 13, 1986, two daughters, Leola Kathleen KINGSFORD and Lucrecia PHILLIPS, two sisters, Dolly Mary and Ruby Leah, a brother, Joseph Charles WYRICK; a granddaughter, Kim Elaine MAPES and a great-grandchild, Dalton ABRAHANSEN. Interment was in the Ramona Cemetery under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville. Mr. BENNETT was born Feb. 9, 1958, in Sallisaw, to Fay B. and Ruby Lee (DAVIS) BENNETT. He died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, at his home. Survivors include his father, Fay BENNETT; one brother and sister-in-law, Dell and Kathy BENNETT; one niece, Amber BENNETT; one nephew, Kris BENNETT; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Burial is in Drake Stand Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. CALLAHAN was born March 11, 1919, in Drake Prairie, to William Rudy CALLAHAN and Willie (SAYLOR) CALLAHAN. He died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Audra BAGLEY June 19, 1937, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Audra CALLAHAN of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Al "Dub" and Clara Ann, and Bill and Nancy; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mable and Carolyn; and two brothers, Aaron and Dr. Denver. Mr. CALLAHAN was preceded in death by twin sons in 1945, and two sisters, Flora WESSON of Fresno, Calif., and Nadine BOSTON of McFarland, Calif.
Funeral services for Jewel E. (WATTS) PHILLIPS, 99, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Revs. Otis Free and Curtis Mitchell officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Mrs. PHILLIPS was born Sept. 25, 1898, in Leslie, Ark., to Asa and Martha Jane (KESNER) WATTS. She died Tuesday, Sept.. 15, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married James Earl PHILLIPS in February 1918, in Appleton, Ark. He preceded her in death Oct. 10, 1969. Survivors include one daughter, Vida; four sons, Paul D., Ralph, Bill and James "Pete"; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. PHILLIPS was also preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.

Burial was in Rocky Point Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, under the direction of of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. ANDERSON was born Dec. 10, 1941, in the Rocky Point community, to Walter Edward ANDERSON and Violet (BLANCET) ANDERSON. He died Friday, Sept. 18, 1998, in Muskogee. He married Rose Mary BOND May 22, 1968, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Christa; two granddaughters; two sisters, Geraldine and Josephine; and one brother, Thomas Jackson.

Mrs. ANDERSON was born Sept. 28, 1915, in San Jacinto, Calif., to William Marion BLANCET and Lydia (ROBBINS) BLANCET. She died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, in Pocola. She married Walter Edward ANDERSON Sept. 3, 1938, in the Akins community. He preceded her in death March 18, 1988. Survivors include two daughters, Geraldine and Josephine; one son, Thomas Jackson; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Stella R. and Mary; and one brother, William.
Graveside services for Lewis E. BLACKBURN, 79, of Sallisaw are being held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sallisaw City Cemetery. Mr. BLACKBURN was born Jan. 26, 1919, in Cushing, to Francis Marion BLACKBURN and Zoa (BLAIR) BLACKBURN. He died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1998, in Sallisaw. He married Rose Ellen BLACKBURN Aug. 22, 1940, in Stillwater. Survivors include his wife Rose BLACKBURN of the home; one daughter, Zoella; one son, Lewis Marion; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six step-great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Rena, Wanda, Wilma and Mary Ellen; and one brother, Robert. Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Bonnie June DOOTY, 71, of Sallisaw died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998, in Sallisaw. The family will greet friends at the home of Bonnie DOOTY from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday. Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. DOOTY was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Sioux City, Iowa, to William G. ERICKSON and Alice VERMINNIE WHEELER. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon D. and Mike; five sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Debbie, John and Pat, Chuck and Barbara, Mark and Gina and Rick and Cindy; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Dorothy; one special friend, Madolyn.

Mrs. McCLUNG was born Sept. 5, 1915, in McAlester, to Charles Joseph TAYLOR and Julia Mae (LARUE) TAYLOR. She died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998, in Sallisaw. She married Sidney Thomas McCLUNG Sept. 10, 1932, in McAlester. He preceded her in death Jan. 24, 1992. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Garry Thomas and Joyce; two grandsons, Garry Wade and Brooks Thomas; two sisters, Elizabeth and Rubye; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Survivors include his wife Alice Mae WILSON of the home; two step-daughters, Linda Sue and Donna Kay; two step-sons, Kenneth Gene and Ronnie Ray; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Darrell Ray; and one niece, Donna. Mr. WILSON was preceded in death by one step-son, Jerry Heston VEST July 5, 1990 in Muldrow.

Mr. PACK was born Jan. 25, 1907, in the Blackgum community, Sequoyah District, Indian Territory, to James Alan PACK and Anne (WELLS) PACK. He died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, in Sallisaw. He married Alice Elvie CHOATE July 31, 1928, in Blackgum. Survivors include his wife, Alice PACK of the home; two daughters, Rema Lou and Elizabeth; three sons, Cecil C., Kenneth and Talmadge; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, and two brothers.

He died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, in Muskogee. Survivors include one son, Bryon Kelly; two grandchildren, Layne Kelly and Hunter Cody; his mother Shirley; one brother, Mitchell; one sister, Angela; four nephews, Chad, Kaleb, Levi and Jason; and two nieces, Melissa and Tiffany.
