Prairie Grove Baptist Church of Christ

NOTE: An error appeared in the following minute Bro. WATTS was received after

the church was announced in conference.

Saturday Aug. 24, 1899

Prairie Grove Baptist Church met after preaching, gave an invitation for members & received Bro. P. A. WATTS by letter from Cotton Wood Baptist Church. Also, Bro. WATTS was received as a regular Ordained Deacon. The Church was then called to order for the transaction of business. The minutes of May & June meetings read & approved. Also, minutes of last meeting read & approved. The committee to see about seats reported. Report received & committee discharged.

On motion upon Bro. McCLANAHAN'S confession he was forgiven for unchristian conduct (for fighting)

Their being no further business, adjourned.

The meeting having continued day & night for the past week with considerable interest at the class of this service gave an invitation for members & received Sister E. M. WATTS by letter from Cotton Wood Baptist Church.
