Sunday night Sept. 13, 1899

Gave an invitation members & received Sister Massy Hughes as a candidate for baptism.

Tues, Sept. 5, 1899

The church & pastor met at the water to attend to the ordinance of baptism. After reading & prayers gave an invitation for members & received Sister Cleo MISES as a candidate for baptism. After which Sister Mary HUGHES & Sister Cleo MISES was baptized into full fellowship of the church. Dismissed in order.

Saturday, Sept. 23, 1899

Prairie Grove Church met after preaching. The Church was called to order by, the Moderator. Minutes of last meeting read & approved. On motion the Church elected delegates to the association by ballot, which resulted in the election of Brethren J. E. ADAMS, R. V. THOMPSON, R. E. SUMMERHILL & P. A. WATTS as messengers & Bro. J. R. PARKER & R. H. THOMPSON as alternates. Collection for minutes $2.10 on Motion, the clerk

Was instructed to collect the pledges for Associational Mission, on motion the church instructed the clerk to write the Associational letter & read the same on tomorrow. On motion, Bro. & Sister SPIRES was granted letters of recommendation. On motion, the clerk is instructed in writing the Associational letter to say, the this Church question the fellowship of Muldrow Church & we regard her as being unscriptural & disorderly in discipline. In that, she has Exonerated Eld. J. H. PARKER whom we deem guilty of adultery. By motion, motion adjourned moderator.

After preaching, the Church was called to order, the letter to the association was read & approved. After which a motion was made to resend the act of granting Bro. & Sister SPIRES letters of recommendation on the grounds that these were some conflicting reports in circulation that Bro. & Sister SPIRES was connected with which was carried on motion. A committee consisting of the Deacons was appointed to see Bro. & Sister SPIRES & report at next meeting. Adjourned in order.
