Ollis Bailey
Ollis Bailey, 84, died at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas, Wednesday, April 7, after an illness from cancer.
Mr. Bailey is well known in Frederick and community, having lived in this county several years but lately had made his home in Corpus Christi.
The body arrived in Frederick Sunday, April 11, accompanied by his wife. Funeral services were held in the Gish funeral chapel at 3:00 p.m. Monday with the Rev. J. D. Salter, pastor of the Methodist church in charge. Interment was made in the the city cemetery.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters and a son, all grown. All were here for the funeral.
Note: Ollis lived in the Tillman Co. & Frederick area from abt. 1906-1924, not just a few years.
