Mrs Daisy Lee Millsap
Services for Mrs. Daisy Lee Millsap, 86, long resident of Frederick,
will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, at Dalton-McLellan's Oklahoma Chapel
with Minister Albert Trent of the 13th and Josephine Church of Christ
officiating. Burial under direction of Dalton-McLellan Funeral Home
will be in the Davidson cemetery.
Mrs. Millsap died Monday at 11:20 a.m. at Pioneer Manor, where she had
been a resident five years. She was Born Oct. 3, 1888, at Mt.
Hershey, Ark., the daughter of R.C. and Frances Maddox; and was married
in Frederick April 1, 1906, to C.K. Millsap. Her husband died in 1945.
She moved to Texas at an early age, residing in Comanche and Rising
Star, and came to Tillman County in 1924. The family resided in Grady
and Caddo County from 1929 to 1933, at which time they returned to
Tillman County. Mrs. Millsap was a member of the Church of Christ,
Frederick.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Edith Millsap, of Wichita Falls,
Tex., and Mrs, Claud (Lois) Fields of Oklahoma City; two sons, M.R.
Millsap of Fort Worth, and F.V. Millsap of Frederick; 10 grandchildren,
10 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
