Nolan J. Miller Obituary

Nolan J. Miller, 84, of Medford, died Wednesday (Sept. 26, 2001) at his home. A private service will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Southwest Church of the Nazarene Building Fund, 1481 S. Columbus Ave., Medford, OR 97501.

He was born July 26, 1917, in Frederick, Okla., a son of Rupert and Susan Miller. On Dec. 23, 1941, in Tacoma, Wash., he married Elsiemae Young, who died in 1991.

Mr. Miller was an auditor for the state of California Department of Corrections. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1991 from Springfield.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Mr. Miller was an active member of the Medford Southwest Church of the Nazarene.

He enjoyed sail boating, reading and ham radio.

Survivors include a son, John, Medford; and a brother, Robert, Medford. He was preceded in death by a son, Nolan Jr.
