Dollie Emma Coynor Keeton
Funeral services for Dollie Emma Coynor Keeton were held Saturday, June 28, 2003 at the First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Doyle Roark presiding. She was laid to rest at the Russell Cemetery, Cordell, Oklahoma under the direction of Jack Loftiss Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
Dollie was born May 8, 1912 in Colony, Oklahoma to W.C. and Elmira Jane Roland Coynor. She went to her heavenly home June 26, 2003 at the Meade District Hospital, Meade, Kansas.
She married the love of her life, Lee Keeton on December 12, 1928 in Cordell, Oklahoma. To this union 13 children were born. Eight girls and five boys.
She lived in Cordell for many years before moving to Fowler, Kansas. Dollie was a charter member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cordell, Oklahoma.
She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxillary of Cordell, and volunteered at the VA Center in Clinton, Oklahoma.
Those left to respect, admire and cherish her memory are her children, Geneva Wray, Cordell, Oklahoma, Lawan "Lee" Keeton of Fowler, Kansas, Treova Zortman of Fowler, Kansas, Lela Hamil and her husband, Roy, Skiatook, Oklahoma, Maxine Morgan, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Darlene Perdue and her husband, Garry of Lubbock, Texas, Truman Keeton and his wife, Kay of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Glenn Keeton and his wife, Karen of Liberal, Kansas, Ronnie Keeton, Cordell, Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred "Dot" Kinder, Clinton, Oklahoma, Opal Keeton, Menefee, Arkansas, and Marie Newcomb, Kathleen, Georgia.
She joins in eternal rest with her husband, Lee, two sons, Harvey and Melvin, two daughters, Kadie and Violet; two sons-in-law, Sidney Wray and Larry Zortman, her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
