The 1910 census at Cloud Chief appears to be incomplete. Many surnames that I [Pauline Phelps] believe to be living at Cloud Chief at this time were not included on the census. Cloud Chief was in the Seger township enumeration district no. 267 in 1910. It was in the Cloud Chief township in 1900. Part of the census may have been destroyed, lost, or the people making the microfilm copies may have omitted part of it. Since other communities (Cowden, Colony, etc.) are in the Seger township, I had to find familiar names to identify the people with Cloud Chief. Familiar names were copied. The penmanship is difficult to decipher on some of the names. Names are spelled as they appear in the census. Notations in ( ) added by the complier. |
