This picture is of my grandmother. I don't know
when nor where she was born, but I do know that she was Cherokee. She
married a white man named Norman J. Stockton , from MO and bore 2 sons.
The first being, my father, Charles Oscar Stockton b.08 Jan.1920 in
Miller Ok and the second in which she died during childbirth was William C.
Stockton on 22 Oct 1922.
I have searched and the place where the birth records were kept was burnt, so
I have no name to associate with her except her married name. Does
anyone have any ideas or direction to point me in. Thank you
