Joseph and Annie Lee settled in
Oklahoma Territory
after participation in
the land rush of 1893.
The attached photo depicts their first modest home on
their original homestead west of Okeene.
Their children were Ethel, Louvincent, Bessie, and Mary. Another son, Virgil, died in infancy.
The Lees both lived to be in their nineties and are interred in Parvin
Cemetery west of Okeene, Oklahoma.
