Cowboys at the OK Cattlemen's Association Meeting
It was held in Ft. Worth,
TX. John Newton "Newt" RICE is in the center, just above him (with his usual
cigar) is reportedly Bill Washington, who was owner of the Bill Washington Ranch in
Marietta, OK, and who also at a later date owned the ranch in NM upon which was discovered
the Carlsbad Caverns. I was told that Mr. Washington was accused of killing his brother,
Henry. I'd love to know if anyone can identify anyone else in the photo
