The photo is of my Great-Grandfather, William Allen (Bill) Rose and his Family. He was the Sheriff of Garvin county Okla. in, I believe, 1929-30. He held the distinction for many years, and possibly still does, of being the only person to ever carry in a county wide election in Garvin county on the Republican ticket. His home was East of Elmore City. The photo was taken in Arkansas in about 1906.
