Ruth was born 8-1-1911, Muskogee, Ok. She was 1/4 Cherokee through her
father, John Anderson, Timberlake. Her mother was Laura Belle Box who
was originally from Mansfield, Missouri. Ruth, an attractive young
woman, traveled to Hollywood, Ca., aspiring to become an actress
Unfortunately, her early death prevented the development of her career.
She played in silent movies and was musically talented. Her daughter,
Gloria Ruth Miller, owned a travel agency in California.
