The driver of the horses is my grandfather, William Andrew Root. You can see a little
of the movie ad and unless someone else was making sheik films at that time, it has to be
a Valentino. My research tells me that Valentino movies were made 1921-1926 and my
ancestors left Oklahoma in 1926 so the photo had to be made prior that.
On the right of the photo is a street sign naming the intersection but, try as I
might, I can't make out the words.
