Normal School, 1914
The attached photograph was actually taken at
Northeast Normal School (now Northeastern University) in Tahlequah.
After exchanging e-mails with the archivist at Northeastern, we have
determined that this is a "county shot" of Ottawa County students
attending the school during the summer session 1914. On the
back of this photograph is written "Madge, Iva, Ruby, Ora & Mildred
at Tahlequah" Iva is the third from the right seated woman in
the front row. Her maiden name was Iva Hays. It would be lovely if
someone saw this and was able to identify some of the other students.
