Snow Mack, near Konawa,
Seminole County, Oklahoma
About 1937
I was born in Konawa, Seminole Co. Feb.
1,1931. This is a class picture when I was in the 1st grade. That's me, second
row up and third from the teacher. (new bib overalls). My brother Henry Jr.
third from left on top row. This school was at a place called Snow Mack, just
outside of Konawa. I can't find the name any place. might not be the right
spelling. My dad Henry Keener worked for Gulf Oil. Picture was taken around
1937. About the time our house burned to the ground and we headed for
California.
