Canadian High School, 1930's
Canadian, Pittsburg Co., Oklahoma

My father, L.D. Johnson, told me that he graduated either in 1938 or 1939. This was the first high school and it burnt, caused by the boiler in the basement. My father remembers loosing his baseball glove in the fire. ( He is in the second row and 2nd from the right) He believes his teacher was Ms. Vandever, and the principal was Mr. Rivers.
