Surname: PACK, WILSON, BEENE
Submitted on 15Nov2012 by Ted Pack at:
http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.oklahoma.counties.ellis/475/mb.ashx
Mabel Pack, b. 29 May 1887, married a John Claudus
Wilson in 1906. They moved to Oklahoma, he died, she married an Ernest Beene
9 Feb 1954 in Woodward County. I suspect, but can't prove, that "Earnest
Beene" is really Rev. Marvin Ernest Beene, who died 30 Dec 1973 and is
buried with his first wife, Minnie Mae Beebe (1 Jan 1890 - 22 May 1953) in
the May Cemetery in Ellis County.
The name is uncommon, the timing is about right, and both families were in
Harper County in 1920 and 1930.
I can't find a death record for Mabel, but I'm hoping some kind soul will
look up Rev. Marvin's obit for me, and it will shed some light on this.
If someone has a death record for Mabel, I'd like it, too. I know I can't
ask for an obit without a death date

I am
researching Clara Bell Pearce, Osban, Robertson. She is buried, at Arnett. My
mother told me that she sold her big house in Arnett and bought a radio shop.
That would probably be in the 1920’1030’s. Her son Roma Clayton operated the
shop for a time. I think they eventually moved the radio shop to Shattuck. Any
information you could give me on their homes and businesses would be appreciated
