WALLACE, Nancy Isabel Originally posted: Nov 30 1997

I am looking for information on the surnames WALLACE, AUSTIN, WARD, CURTIS, DUNIHO,
	YOUNG, ROSS, HANCOCK and WALRAVEN.

My great grandmother, Nancy Isabel WALLACE, lived in Seminole, Seminole Co., OK for an
indeterminate number of years in the earlier part of this century, and possibly before
that. She was born about 1870 to Peter WALLACE and Nancy Harriet AUSTIN.

She had at least 7 brothers and possibly no sisters: her brothers' names were Frank, George,
Bob, Newt, Myrick, Charlie and Jimmie.

She married the first of 5 husbands about 1886-88; his name was WARD (they soon divorced).

Next she married my great grandfather, Willie (William) CURTIS about 1890-91. With him she
had three children (Rufice Dewitt CURTIS, Lula Harriet CURTIS [my grandmother, who
married John Thomas DUNIHO], and William Jesse CURTIS).

Willie CURTIS died in Frost, Navarro Co., TX in 1897. She then married a man named
YOUNG, possibly in Sulphur, OK. YOUNG died in Sulphur in 1909.

Her fourth husband was John Andrew ROSS (he had previously lived in the Troy/Reagan area
north of Tishomingo in 1900, and had been married to Susan Adeline HANCOCK, whose sister
Nancy Ann was married to James Murl DUNIHO [my great, great grandparents]). She and
John A. ROSS had one child in 1913, a boy they named M.A. ROSS. ROSS died near Cleburne
	in 1923.

Nancy Isabel WALLACE's fifth and last husband was named WALRAVEN. He died in 1934 at
Mineral Wells, TX. She died on 9 September 1958 in Roswell, NM.

Any additional information of any sort that touches on the above people would be much
	appreciated.
