Railroad Stations are shown in red.

The north/south line was the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe.  It was still operational in 1972.

The line extending westward from Ardmore was the Oklahoma, New Mexico & Pacific.  It was later acquired by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe but abandoned by 1972.

Two lines extended eastward from Ardmore.  The northernmost one was the C. R. I. & P. It was abandoned by 1972.  The southernmost one was the St. Louis & San Francisco.  It was still operational in 1972.

The Atlas shows no roads in Carter County.  The thin lines are rivers and creeks.
